Fear of lack of money. How to get rid of the fear of poverty

Chapter Six

Fear of poverty

“I tell my sons that I had advantages as a child that they don’t have.

I was born in the most terrible poverty. I had nowhere to move but up"

Douglas, American actor, one of the last stars of the "golden era" of Hollywood.

In the previous chapter we looked at the fear of public opinion, in this chapter we will look at the fear of poverty.

Fear of poverty is, without any doubt, the most destructive of all the basic types of fear. The fear of poverty is an inherited fear. Our ancestors killed animals on the hunt, getting their own food. The fear of poverty is dangerous because people become like animals, eating (financially) their fellows. A person begins to experience pleasure, destroying their business, enterprises. This fear is the most destructive of all types of fear and it is very difficult to deal with it.

If two people desire the same thing that they cannot peacefully share, they become enemies. On the way to achieving their goal, they try to destroy or conquer each other.

Nowadays, people are often obsessed with greed. People strive for wealth, to achieve success. Rich people always occupy an enviable position in society. They run politics and business, the whole world. Nothing brings a person more respect than wealth. Nothing brings a person such suffering as POVERTY. Anyone who has experienced poverty understands the full meaning of this sad truth. No wonder the fear of poverty haunts humanity. Because of the fear of poverty, people compete, enter into unequal marriages, lie, turn scams, deceive partners, steal, kill.

What is the main root of poverty? Poverty is caused by human greed.

Greed (greed, avarice, greed, the desire to satisfy exorbitant, insatiable desires. In a figurative sense: intense interest, intense attention - a passionate desire for something, irresistibility in satisfying any desire, an unbridled desire to appropriate everything.

The main cause of greed is spiritual emptiness, spiritual hunger and thirst with which a person is born into the world.

A greedy person, not understanding the reason for his dissatisfaction, tries to drown it out with material goods and wealth. He does not understand that spiritual poverty cannot be filled with any material goods, just as spiritual thirst cannot be quenched with a bucket of water.

Greed - this is an internal block that stands in the way of wealth. A greedy person is overly striving to satisfy any of his desires. When it comes to money, he literally obsesses over the latter. In this case, the subconscious is forced to limit their number in the life of this person - either through limiting the flow of money, or through loss.

But there is another hidden aspect of greed. This is economy and its extreme manifestation - stinginess. Saving and stinginess are derivatives of greed, because, like greed, they come from limitations. A miserly man wants to have prosperity in life, but he limits himself. He avoids all expenses. He is not inclined to give. And if you don't give, you don't get. Both greed and stinginess inevitably lead a person to poverty.

"Greed impoverishes its owner"

(Erian Schultz)

Generosity This is a wide range of assistance. A generous person willingly spends on others. He believes in the abundance of the universe. There is wealth in the word itself. He gives from his generosity. That is, share their wealth.

“Poverty often deprives a person of all spirit and strength, it is difficult for an empty bag to stand upright”

(Benjamin Franklin)

Only a deep and impartial introspection can reveal all those traits that are associated with greed. Self-analysis is necessary for everyone who demands more from life than living in poverty.

Ask any person what he is most afraid of, and you will hear in response: "I am not afraid of anything." And he does not deceive you.

He is firmly convinced of this. Our fears are often present in our subconscious. We just don't recognize our fears. They are in disguise. Emotions of fear are elusive, you can live with them all your life and not understand it. Victory over all kinds of fear comes after realizing those fears and recognizing that these fears are present in your life. But this requires courage and deep introspection.

Fear of poverty has certain characteristics. Here are some of them:

1. Indecision.

3. Waiting for someone's help.

Pay close attention if at least one of these signs is present in you.

If you see signs of fear of poverty in your life, all you need to do is admit to yourself that you have this problem and try to overcome it. Accept the challenge that life offers you and step forward with courage, decide that you will conquer this fear and your decision will lead you to victory.

Many currently successful people started where it is difficult to break through, it is difficult to simply survive, but they accepted this challenge, and today they have an excellent result. They conquered the fear of poverty, and as a result became very wealthy.

I will give examples of well-known people who started life in poverty.

Maria das Grazas Silva Foster - broke out of the Brazilian slums and became the first woman to lead Petrobras.

The current head of the Brazilian oil giant Petrobras spent her childhood in the extremely poor area of Morro do Adeus, which has become a slum. Her mother worked constantly, and her father was an alcoholic. Foster collected aluminum cans and waste paper in order to earn some money.

As you can see, Maria grew up in extreme poverty, and there was no clue to her success, but due to the fact that at an early age she made a decision to break out of poverty, do everything possible and depend on her to change her life, and steadily followed this decision, she was able to achieve success in life. Thanks to her perseverance, determination, hard work, ability to overcome difficulties, she was able to get an education, and in the future, get a job at Petrobras. She had no influential connections, money, position, she could not count on anyone but herself, and thanks to her will and perseverance, she achieved success.

She began working as an intern at Petrobras in 1978 and was able to overcome barriers by becoming the first woman to lead a field development division. Foster's hard work has earned her the nickname Caveirao, a Brazilian slang term for an armored police car that maintains order in the slums, according to Bloomberg.

Richard Desmond, founder of an empire that publishes magazines like Penthouse.

After his parents divorced, Desmond was raised by his mother. They lived on the roof of the garage. Desmond describes himself at the time as "very fat and very lonely". He wanted to be a drummer, but left school at 14 and worked as a cloakroom attendant to help his mother support his family.

Richard knew that in life he could only rely on himself. He understood early what responsibility is. His musical talents never made him rich, but he later opened a number of record stores. The qualities that helped him achieve success are determination and diligence. He was able to publish the first International Musician and Recording World magazine, which later grew into Penthouse and Ok! He now owns a number of publications around the world.

Oprah Winfrey turned a life of hardship into inspiration to build a multi-billion dollar empire.

Oprah lived with her grandmother until she was six years old and wore dresses made of burlap. Oprah reveals that, as a child of 9 years old, she was molested by her brothers, uncle and their friends, as a result she ran away from home. She was then 13 years old. At 14, she became pregnant and gave birth to a child who died shortly after birth. At the same time, her upset mother sent her to live in Nashville, Tennessee with her father.

Father taught Oprah diligence, he asked her additional homework and controlled their implementation. Thanks to the performance of these tasks, Oprah developed the right attitude towards work, discipline and the rational use of time. And the difficulties that she endured in childhood did not break her, but tempered her. A determination to succeed was born in her heart, and she was ready to work tirelessly to make her dreams come true.

Oprah worked and studied at the university. She became Nashville's first black female television reporter. In 1976, she moved to Baltimore's WJZ television as a six o'clock news assistant, co-hosting the morning talk show Baltimore Speaks. Then the first glory came to her. In 1986, Oprah created her own program - The Oprah Winfrey Show, which made her not only famous, but also a very rich and influential woman in the United States. Oprah Winfrey's fortune, according to Forbes, is estimated at $2.7 billion.

As we see from the examples given, it is possible to win over poverty if you do not resign yourself to your situation, make an effort, work, discipline yourself if you believe in success, and are willing to pay any price necessary to achieve victory.

These people give hope to each of us that no matter what circumstances we were born in, we can change our lives for the better and achieve tremendous success.

What is holding us back from conquering the fear of poverty?

Reasons for fear of poverty are:

1. Dislike for yourself, rejection of yourself.

This is the disease of our society. Most of the time, we don't really love ourselves, and this problem starts as early as childhood. Our parents, who themselves did not receive this love, could not pass it on to us. We grow up in families where our upbringing comes down to ensuring that the child is clothed and fed. And our parents do not deal with our inner world, because they themselves were not taught this. We grow up in conditional love. The child does not respect the individual. As a result of such upbringing, we do not love ourselves, are not confident in ourselves, do not respect ourselves, it is difficult for us to make decisions, we are afraid of everything, often, we are not a person.

This is where it all starts. If you loved yourself, you would turn inside out, but try to secure a happier present and future for yourself.

Until you accept and love yourself, all attempts to break out of poverty and poverty will face tremendous opposition within yourself. This inner barrier is much stronger than all your desires and dreams combined.

Due to a negative attitude towards themselves, disrespect for themselves, many people who want to break out of the slavery of poverty cannot do this.

You don't love yourself, don't respect yourself, perceive yourself as a pawn in someone else's game? If you believe in this, then your subconscious mind will work hard to ensure that your reality matches the settings laid down in it.

2. Low self-esteem.

Self-dislike and low self-esteem are two interrelated causes of poverty. People with low self-esteem do not expect to get anything good from life, they believe that they do not deserve it. You won't do more than what your self-esteem tells you to. This will be a bar that you will never be able to overcome unless you start changing your self-image.

Can someone, dreaming of a salary of $500, suddenly start earning $5,000? Can not! Good earnings come with conscious actions, concrete steps, thoughtful and meaningful actions in the right direction.

The same is true for low self-esteem, which is one of the main causes of poverty and failure. If you do not believe in yourself, do not expect to get anything good from life, because you consider yourself unworthy, you need to start changing your thoughts and ideas about yourself. I recommend that you take a systematic look at your thinking, spend time reprogramming your thoughts, on personal growth so that you can become a healthy person, and after that you can overcome this fear and take place in life.

3. Fear of change.

We are afraid of change because we become accustomed to comfort, and we are willing to live a modest life, so as not to be overly busy with work, so that we lose the time intended for socializing with friends, going to supermarkets, going to places of entertainment.

We are afraid that we will have to think a lot, make decisions that we are not used to at all. We are afraid that we will need to get up earlier, go to bed later, spin like a squirrel in a wheel.

Are you ready for the fact that breaking out of poverty, you will have to live a completely different life? Are you subconsciously afraid of change? Wonderful! They won't. The subconscious fear of something new and unknown is one of the main causes of poverty, since the path to wealth is paved through many internal and external changes. We need to embrace these changes and make the effort to lift ourselves out of poverty and pave the way for the next generation.

4. Laziness is another reason for the fear of poverty.

It also lies in the laziness of the mind. We are not ready to study, to pay the price to acquire knowledge, an education that will help us to fire up our brains, will enable us to escape from poverty. If people are not busy at work or with children, they are often busy watching TV, fishing, shopping. Although, deep down, they are aware that they are avoiding something important. Here is the most common form of laziness, disguised as extremely busy. Although, in fact, a person is busy arranging his comfort and is afraid of losing all these little hobbies in order to start changing something in his life.

A person with the psychology of poverty does not want (and in many cases simply does not know how) to spin and spin, does not read ads in the “Wanted” section, does not look for a more “bread” place, does not earn extra money. He is passive, and therefore poor.

If you are serious about your intentions to succeed in life, to achieve financial independence, step on the throat of your comfort, do not live a life that indulges your weaknesses. Learn to make a choice every day in favor of success! Cultivate your courage, conquer yourselves, like athletes who want to achieve the best results.

5. Fear of losing money, which must be overcome.

You will never meet a person who likes to lose money. Robert Kiyosaki writes: “In all my life, I have never met a rich person who has never lost money. But I have met many poor people who never lost 10 cents by investing because they never invested.” But the problem is not fear. The problem is how you deal with fear, how you handle losses. The essential difference between the rich and the poor is how they deal with fear.

Frank Tarkenton, once a top defenseman in the National Football League, he says: “Winning means not being afraid to lose.”

In life, victory often follows loss. Before you learn how to skate, you will fall many times.

The reason most people don't have financial success is that the pain of losing money lasts much longer for them than the joy of becoming rich.

John D. Rockefeller said: "I've always tried to turn every adversity into an opportunity."

Failure inspires winners. And failure crushes those who do not benefit from defeat. The biggest secret of the winners, the secret that those who lose do not know about, is precisely that failure inspires the winners to win. Winners are not afraid to lose. People like Fran Tarkenton are not afraid to lose because they know who they are. They hate to lose, and they know that losing will only inspire them to get better.

Failure also turns unyielding losers into winners.

"Only those who are not afraid of big failures can achieve great success"

(Robert Kennedy)

6. Unwillingness to take responsibility.

As long as you believe that someone will take care of you, as long as you have a poor man's psychology. Do you think that your parents, your boss, the company you work for, the government, politicians, the state should worry about you? As long as you think so, you are a poor person by definition, in every sense of the word.

No one owes anything to anyone in this life! Realizing this simple truth will bring an incredible breakthrough into your life. While you are hoping for a "good someone" - you are deceiving yourself and wasting precious time. Take responsibility for your life, your success and progress depends on it.

7. Lack of purpose.

“If you do not have specific plans for your life, if you do not plan your day, month, year, then you have not yet begun to live. If you work towards your goals, then those goals will work for you.”

(Jim Roy)

The presence of a goal implies the existence of a strategic plan for its implementation. If you live by working from 9 to 20, and then spend time on vacation, do not think that one day you will be lucky and you will get rich and start living happily. Your success starts in your head. You must take the time to think about your life, strategically plan your success, calculate everything on paper, and then start putting it into practice.

A friend of mine has a job that brings her a decent income, but her success and financial independence did not come from her work, but from the fact that she successfully invests money. Now she is financially independent. She took the time to understand the principle of investing, gained experience in it, became a good broker, and invests outside of work. At 45, she has reached a stable financial position, and can safely leave her job. This is what I call strategic planning for your success.

The fact is that without concrete plans for the next six months, a year, two, we are guaranteed to do much less than we could actually do if we clearly set priorities, planned clear steps and determined specific time frames for each task and goal.

Practical Steps

How to overcome the fear of poverty

1. Find a reason, a motive why you can become rich.

Buckminster Fuller once stood on the shores of Lake Michigan and seriously contemplated suicide. He was aware of himself as a failure, a "recyclable", as he said. Difficult life circumstances brought him to the brink of suicide. "The choice was: jump or think" - he said. And he chose "Think!"

At the last moment, he decided to arrange "an experiment to see what a single person can do for the benefit of the world and all mankind." With the support of a group of professors and students from a small college in North Carolina, he began work on the project that would make him famous and revolutionize engineering: the geodesic dome. Let's say without further ado, Buckminster Fuller did not let himself or humanity down! The US government saw the significance of the invention and hired Fuller to manufacture small domes for the army. A few years later, there were thousands of such domes around the world.

All his life (and he died at the age of 88) he was useful not only as an inventor, but also as a writer, educator, philosopher and poet. His inventions and discoveries are still moving our science forward, making our life better and more comfortable. His goal was to make life better for every person on earth, to help people discover and realize their potential. The experiment in his life was that every person without start-up capital is able to realize himself and live with dignity, without participating in the rat race of success, but by benefiting humanity and at the same time realizing his potential.

One young woman dreamed of swimming for the American Olympic team. The reality was that she had to get up at 4 am every day, swim for 3 hours before going to school. She didn't go to parties on Saturdays with her friends. She had to study at school on an equal basis with everyone.

When asked where her superhuman powers and self-sacrifice came from, she simply said, “I do this for myself and for the people I love. Love helps me overcome obstacles and sacrifice myself.”

Find something that will help you overcome obstacles, and it is good if it is love for people and service to humanity.

2. Rich people don't work for money, they do what they love to do, they love to do it, they give it their all and don't wait for a well-deserved rest or retirement, they work with passion for the rest of their lives.

“I don't want to rest. I love my job. I always said that if people stop going to my concerts, I will continue to do the same, but already as a hobby.

I see myself at the age of ninety, being wheeled out onto the stage in a wheelchair and oh-so-very slowly playing "Yesterday". Now, however, it's not like that. Quite the contrary. We are enjoying the game, the audience is enjoying our performance, and as long as that is the case, we will continue to do so.”

(Paul McCartney)

“Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. I am convinced that the only thing that gave me the strength to continue was love for my work. Find your love. This advice applies not only to relationships with people, but also to work. Work takes up a large part of your life, and the only way to achieve true satisfaction is to work in such a way that you can be proud of the results.

(Steve Jobs)

Robin Sharma was once a highly paid, overworked civil claims lawyer. He was tired of living such a life - without meaning, without purpose. The emptiness and lack of motivation made him look for answers and inspiration in the works of Og Mandino, Norman Vincent Peel, Gandhi, Albert Einstein, Nelson Mandela and others. Having put the lessons learned into practice, Sharma felt in a few months that his thoughts, his tone, all his life - all this radically changed for the better.

Sharma left a well-paid law practice to become a writer and professional lecturer. Today he lives in such a way that he can only be envied. He earns his living by traveling the globe and giving inspiring lectures on motivation in places like Hawaii, Israel, Europe. He has a wonderful purpose in life, he has freedom, and he makes more money than before when he was a highly paid lawyer.

Ideal when you are doing your dream business, worse when you are a cog in a large corporate system.

Thomas J. Stanley wrote a book about America's richest people, To Become a Millionaire, You Must Think Like a Millionaire. He studied the IQ (intelligence quotient) of the rich, the specialties in which they studied, the history of their families. Oddly enough, it turned out that all these factors do not have a noticeable effect on the result. Millionaires had one thing in common: they were doing what they loved. Stanley concludes: "If you love what you do, really love it, you have an excellent chance of succeeding."

3. You must know your purpose, your calling.

If you have not yet decided on your calling, your goal, you need to do it as soon as possible. Life without a goal leads a person to depression and disappointment. When you are an employee of a large company, you do not understand the purpose of your work, the more difficult it is to understand the purpose of your life.

Why do people like Buckminster Fuller, Paul McCartney, Robin Sharma find satisfaction in their work and do not stop working until the last day? They always have a goal in front of their eyes.

I understand that not everyone has a goal. And if you do not have a goal for which you are ready to work tirelessly, to make sacrifices, you need to determine for yourself the goal for which you came to planet earth. Of course, it is easy to live meaningfully with a goal, but alas, not everyone has it. By purpose, I mean an important mission, true calling, or the main passion of all life. Your purpose or calling is a much higher order than a job that brings you money to pay your bills and a little bit more besides.

A goal is something that helps not only you, but also others, it changes lives for the better. It captures you completely, does not give you rest, you are seized by it, like a passion, you are able to independently study, study, dig your topic, this brings you great satisfaction. You could do it even if you didn't get paid to do it.

George Bernard Shaw enjoyed the last years of his life because he retained meaningfulness to the very end (and he died at the age of 96). Yes, he continued to write in his tenth decade. Until the end of his life, he published brilliantly argued prefaces to his plays, bombarded publishing houses with manuscripts, wrote polemical articles, and regularly sent scolding letters to newspaper editors.

Shaw's example clearly explains why passion for one's occupation or occupations is so important, why it helps to take as much as possible from one's work and, ultimately, from life.

4. Know yourself. Understand yourself, your values, beliefs, priorities. Understand what you are passionate about, what are your abilities, talents. What should your schedule be like? What passion should underlie your activities. What activity brings you a sense of relevance, fulfillment, satisfaction.

Answer the following questions for yourself:

1. What activities in childhood and adolescence brought me joy, and which of these would I like to do now?

2. What is especially important to me?

3. What makes me happy?

4. What am I passionate about?

5. What are my main abilities, talents?

6. What professional activities brought me the most satisfaction and reward?

7. What would make me much happier?

8. Which of my unique talents have I abandoned for my current career?

9. Is there anything I've always wanted to do, but somehow couldn't?

10. Would I like to make the world a better place, in a special way, accessible only to me?

11. What gift or legacy would I like to leave behind in the world?

We get asked this question very often. This means only one thing: for some reason, many people have an uncontrollable fear of lack of money.

It is important to determine the cause of this fear. There can be two reasons: one - now you do not have enough money, and you are afraid that they will never appear in the right amount, and that you will again have to make ends meet. The second is that now you have enough money, but you are afraid of losing it, or you are afraid that it may someday end and that lack of money may break out. And when you are used to good things, it is very difficult to imagine yourself bankrupt.

Most often, a person looks for the causes of fear of lack of money in external factors, that is, in what is not personally controlled by him, in what he himself cannot change: he was born in the wrong family, in the wrong country; once received the wrong education, got a job in the wrong company, entered into an unsuccessful marriage, friends are traitors and scoundrels ... But a person never looks for reasons in himself. And the roots - and lack of money, and the fear of lack of money, paradoxically, originate in the person himself. External factors only leave their mark and strengthen the beginning already existing in a person, that is, the roots of this fear. So, you need to get to the root.

And the root of the fear of lack of money is also a consequence. What caused this root to appear? A root that, growing inside you, is doing its destructive work? Fear, like a plant, has a root, a trunk, and fruits. But who planted the seed from which such a “plant” grew? The one who planted this seed inside you is to blame for your fear of lack of money.

Now ask yourself the question: who could come from the outside to my personal inner territory and drop something on it?

Who?

Answer: Of course, myself.

And if I “litter” myself in myself, then I myself can put things in order in myself and remove this “weed” from the root in time. The "grains" of these weeds can be of the following plan:

Someone said that you are "destined" not to have money;

The astrologer said that in the next few years you will have no money;

The psychic said that you are damaged and cursed, so there will be no money;

You are superstitious, you believe in all sorts of signs that "point" to lack of money, and then it turns out that way;

At some point in your life, you yourself determined - “I didn’t live richly, there’s nothing to start”;

You are always afraid to take responsibility for doing something on your own;

You are simply lazy and always find an excuse for yourself, and again - in external factors;

You put off everything for tomorrow, and so - every day, so you run in a vicious circle, not bringing anything new into your life;

Your parents were constantly suffering from lack of money. And it stuck in you on a subconscious level. At some point, you yourself tried on their model of life and put up with it, and the parental model of life has become your norm today;

A whole series of failures and blunders has occurred in your life. And you lost faith in yourself, in your strengths and capabilities. They sowed insecurity. Resigned to their fate as a loser. And it has become the norm of life - to be afraid and expect failures and lack of money.

Over the years, you have developed a certain way of life: you mechanically do what you are used to doing day after day, coming to work at 9 o'clock and leaving at 18 o'clock and not a minute later. Not understanding at all why everything is changing around, and your former colleagues have already taken leadership positions, and you remain in the same place with the same modest earnings. You did not attach any importance and, perhaps, did not even notice that your colleagues came earlier and left later, took and did additional work, took responsibility for the result. But you continued to do only what was charged to you as a duty, just as always. Everything happened automatically for you. No more and no less.

You are not competent enough (lack of knowledge and experience) in the area in which you earn money. Progress does not stand still, and you did not keep pace with it and fell behind. If you don’t want to learn, improve, this creates a fear of lack of money: you didn’t have time and you were late.

Now answer yourself this question: what is for you today became norm of life? Such a norm of life, in which all sorts of weeds in the form of fears easily began to appear in you? And when, at what point in your life do you originated this fear - to be without money or to remain without money?

This "became" And "originated" there must have been a lot going on. Some of these things we have already listed above.

But even if something preceded the appearance of these weeds in our lives, then why did we ourselves make a choice in favor of them, and not in favor of the best and most useful? Why are we resigned to the worst? Why have we made the worst for ourselves the norm of life? Why are we not looking for significant incentives for ourselves to reconsider everything in our lives, remove all unnecessary garbage, set a different standard in our lives and rush towards something interesting, new and useful for ourselves?

Just think soberly: how can you come to terms with the fact that we were given the whole Earth for use with all its riches, the variety of beauty and amazing places, they gave us time to use them, admire the beauty, and we agree to such a norm of life when we are not able to use them and can't see this diversity? So, after all, the reason is in us: once we made a very stupid choice. The choice is not for yourself. And now what?

And now - you are suspicious, suggestible, weak-willed; You are easily confused. You trust your fears, look for confirmation of them, running around fortune-tellers, astrologers, psychics, psychologists - that is, in everything that is at hand in the outside world, outside of you.

You are not sure of yourself.

When a person separated, distant from your inner world does not attach due to him - the most important value, then he looks for the causes of all his difficulties, troubles, failures, lack of money in external factors - that is, in everything that is outside of him. And therefore it is quite obvious that he will seek salvation from his failures, misfortunes and lack of money outside himself: from the same assistant astrologers and psychologists, or from relatives, using them as a “vest” in which you can cry. But with myself co a person does not work with his inner world.

He does not understand that you need to start with yourself, look for the beginning of your failures and troubles in yourself, and not in external factors. That is, what happens: when a person blames external factors, he seeks salvation in external factors, outside himself. And in this case, when a person blames external factors and seeks salvation outside, he will not be able to get rid of the fear of lack of money. Because the very reason - the fear of lack of money - "sits" inside a person. This is an internal defect, a violation, and it must be eliminated by “internal” efforts, “internal measures” should be applied to eliminate it.

When we start with ourselves and look for these defects, violations in ourselves, then external factors do not make much of a difference for us. Because we know and understand that we ourselves are the beginning of any of our actions or inactions, just as we ourselves are able to put an end to our actions or put an end to our inaction.

And we must not forget that any beginning has an end: there is a beginning of life and there is an end of life, there is a starting point and there is an end result, there is a plan that initiated any activity and there is its completion, end.

Now think - who are we? Where do we start from? Why us? Whose design are we?

Although we are a small grain of the Universe, we are part of it. But after all and the Universe too - someone's plan? This means that there must be and is the Creator - the Author of the plan, who laid the foundation for everything. And we, "humans", it turns out, are part of His plan.

Also part of His plan are money in which our abilities are materially expressed. The ability to act, the ability to show oneself, receiving an adequate reward for this, expressed in monetary terms.

But in order for a person to act and manifest himself, certain conditions are necessary. And these conditions were created for us - they gave us the Earth with all its wealth, variety of resources, atmosphere and climate.

Therefore, we were and are in equal conditions relative to each other: in the original plan, no one was singled out. Gave life; and it was not intended to give some more wealth and privileges, and some less. And in these equal conditions, people began to act and manifest themselves in different ways: someone purposefully, someone - not particularly straining; someone - for a long time tuning and delaying, someone being lazy, and someone - going with the flow.

It is precisely these two factors - to act and manifest themselves - that become decisive and they are expressed - guess what? Well, of course, in terms of money!

The matter remains small - to determine what will really inspire you to act and express yourself. It should be some kind of incentive - such an incentive that will inspire you to do what you previously considered impossible for yourself. As if an invisible mechanism will appear that will ask you and start up , and dash forward, and movement speed. It's like taking a slingshot: what drives it is your stimulus, and you are the “bullet” that flies out of the slingshot to a given target.

The task is to learn how to correctly identify for yourself the incentives that will provide the launch itself - you and your idea.

An incentive must always meet one main requirement: it must contribute to your growth, development.

Here are examples of working with incentives from our individual consultations:

1) incorrect wording of the stimulus and how it can be corrected:

Entrepreneur K. called his incentive to return the loan to the bank.

This is a misguided stimulus. Its wording is given with a minus sign: it is human nature not to like to give money away. And the return of money does not speak about our growth and development.

It is necessary to change the wording to: become financially free, become financially independent, having accumulated such a margin of financial strength that, in addition to credit money, you have enough free funds, which will be enough to pay off loans and successfully develop your business. Untie your hands for normal activities, for creativity, to get freedom of action.

We automatically make the formulated stimulus our setting. With this installation, we automatically program our lives for the near future.

“Repaying a debt” is not an incentive for growth and development. “Repay a debt” - does this phrase speak of growth and development? Doesn't say. This is just about getting rid of the problem. This is a negative attitude. Negativity is like an invisible impending threat that puts pressure on a person.

For entrepreneur K., the norm of life was constant depression, feeling under the pressure of financial dependence and expecting shame for a possible bankruptcy.

Our consultant changed the stimulus and, according to it, gave the correct setting.

We changed the negative to positive, "minus" to "plus". And the entrepreneur saw other horizons. His internal state with a “minus” sign has changed to an internal state with a “plus” sign: if earlier he was constantly tormented by the fear of lack of money, now he is looking for ways to act in such a way as to earn money with a margin: so that this money is enough to repay the loan, and more left for growth and development.

2)lack of stimulus and how it was found:

An elderly woman has been suffering from pain in her spine for 13 years, she is tired of suffering, she sees no reason to live on. Our consultant gave her an incentive: not only to live to see her granddaughter's wedding, but also to babysit her great-grandchildren. To do this, you need to devote time to your health and get rid of diseases.

The stimulus breathed new life into this man. She decided to fight her sores in order to live to see the wedding of her granddaughter and great-grandchildren.

Your current standard of living depends on the correct definition of incentives and on the positiveness of the very formulation of the incentive.

For this woman, the norm of life was to concentrate on her sores, talk only about them, live only by them; arouse sympathy for yourself and at the same time do nothing to get rid of your sores. All internal state was with a minus sign: illness and negativity.

After correctly identifying the stimulus, her attitude to active health improvement became the norm of her life. A woman of advanced years began to live the joy of anticipation.

So let's recap. It doesn't matter where you were born, in what family - rich or poor, prosperous or dysfunctional, whether you received the necessary education or not yet, whether a successful job has turned up for you or has not yet turned up. It doesn't matter because these are all external factors. And external factors are only superimposed on your internal factors. So, you have to start with yourself. And make it a priority rule in your life: start with strong incentives that become vital triggers and accelerators for your growth and development.

And it is wrong to look for this stimulus outside oneself, in external factors. External factors can only point, suggest something that will become an incentive for you to grow. Those grains that we sowed into ourselves earlier, and they became “weeds”, must be removed. And replace it with useful grain - your incentive. The incentive that you have identified for yourself. Only in this case, the fear of lack of money will become just stupid nonsense for you.

And in order to finally stop wasting your precious time on all sorts of nonsense, it is better to switch your attention to learning how to attract the energy of money to yourself. Then you will have more pleasant chores - where to invest this money so that they multiply and multiply ...

Peniaphobia is the name given to the fear of poverty. This unusual phobia affects 3% of the population, often it takes the form of a severe mental disorder that requires professional intervention.

Oddly enough, for those people who have grown up or lived for a long time in poverty, the fear of poverty is almost unknown. This is normal for them and does not cause panic fear. Such can easily come to terms with this, overcoming difficulties with intensive work. Often, the fear of poverty is experienced by those people who never knew how it could not be money, which all the time moved only up, along the material, career and social ladder. It is for them that poverty is the end of their usual life, which they are terribly afraid of.

The fear of poverty leads a person to the fact that he works at an unloved job, communicates with unpleasant people, is afraid to change anything, and is dissatisfied with his life.

Causes of Fear of Poverty

Peniaphobia can occur for the following reasons:

  • serious illness - lack of money can be an interruption of treatment;
  • fear of losing high social status;
  • fear of wives of wealthy husbands or heirs who are afraid of losing the means to a cloudless life;
  • fear of poverty in older people who are unable to change the situation.

What is the psychology of poverty

Such a concept as the psychology of poverty lies in the thoughts and actions of a person. We attract to ourselves what we think. So what is the psychology of poverty?

Envy. The feeling of envy is destructive. It negatively affects, first of all, the one who experiences this feeling. After all, how does a person think: “This person has everything, he has a good job, and why am I worse, why not me.” All energy is directed not to creation, but to envy of another person. And until you learn to give yourself a different psychological attitude, your hatred will destroy you, and you will not become richer from this.

Passivity. Passivity is a stumbling block to a prosperous life. The basic rule of life should sound like this: "Be energetic today and tomorrow you will become successful!".

Low self-esteem. People with low self-esteem often develop a psychology of poverty. A person does not believe in his own strength and capabilities. Even when a good prospect appears on the horizon, such people do not attempt to grab onto luck, but rather oppress it with their indecision and thoughts: “I still won’t succeed.”

An insult to the whole world. Often people complain about fate, bosses, neighbors, anyone. They try to blame another for their failure, but at the same time, without doing anything to achieve prosperity.

Work with desire. Studies show that people who love their work and do it with pleasure are more active in mental activity. Therefore, it is important to find a job that will bring pleasure, then you will have every chance to go up the career and financial ladder.

Wealth is a broad concept. According to psychologists, one should strive not only for material well-being, but also for emotional and spiritual. It is important to constantly develop in all areas of activity.

Make mistakes. Only those who do nothing do not make mistakes - and this is the truth. Your determination will return with full dedication. Let this path be thorny, but this is your path that will allow you to become successful.

Treating Fear of Poverty

If your fear of poverty has acquired the character of a phobia, then you definitely need to come for a consultation with a psychologist. This fear destroys you from the inside and prevents you from fully living and enjoying life. Face-to-face consultations will help you cope with the problem of obsessive fear.

What makes a person accept a life situation? Many are dissatisfied with their lives, but do not dare to change it for the better - especially with regard to the amount of money they earn. It is clear that, as in the saying, "someone does not have enough for a string of pearls, and someone for a piece of bread," and yet many could have much more money if they got rid of the beggar.

Attitudes towards money are formed from many factors:
- parental education (we adopt the habits and principles of parents);
- stereotypes accepted in society (we live "like everyone else");
- personal self-esteem (we love ourselves or quite the opposite).

As a result, most people have no purpose in life; they don't know what they really want us to do; do not like their work, because they go there only for the sake of earning; they immediately spend what they earn, without putting it off for important things; content with little and think that it is noble; money is considered evil; do not try to earn more by changing jobs or starting their own business. A completely recognizable portrait of our contemporary, who amuses himself with the following myths:

* To be rich, you have to work hard.
If you look at doctors, teachers, miners and people of other professions, you can see that many of them work long hours, work hard, take two jobs and still do not have enough money.

* Financial success guarantees a prestigious education.
Now there are many people in the markets with two higher educations, which did not help them reach the top of their profession. Apparently, it's not all about the diploma.

* Others know better how much to pay for my work.
That's right: both yourself and will be paid. And often the one who pays underestimates the value of the worker's real labor. Wouldn't it be better to demand an adequate price for your work?

* It is impossible to work at your favorite job and get a lot of money.
Any business is argued, if it is to your liking - then everything goes like clockwork. Very often, a business or work begins with a hobby. If there is interest, a creative approach - and the money will be, and others will appreciate it.

* A good specialty is a guarantee of wealth.
People of the same profession often have different wealth. A doctor in private practice and a doctor in a polyclinic, a lawyer in a large company and in the public sector, and many other examples.

* Before you promote your business, you need to get a big inheritance.
There are many examples in the practice of businessmen when unexpectedly fallen money floated away from the hands of someone who does not know how to handle it. And the most stable business is the one that developed gradually, and the funds earned at the initial stage were gradually invested in it.

What to do to overcome all these stereotypes and get rid of the psychology of a beggar? Analyze yourself using the above text and honestly answer the question: by what percentage does this or that statement apply to me? You will find many new and interesting things in yourself.

The second step is to stop blaming others for what happens to you. The family is not to blame for anything. After all, people around you live in the same environment, but they are all different!

Third. Find in yourself the most harmful negative traits that can prevent you from changing - these are fear and laziness. As soon as the very first impulse of these emotions appears, stifle them in the bud.

And the last point - if you want to overcome the psychology of a beggar, you will have to take responsibility for everything that happens in your life. And also for your future and the future of loved ones. What and how do you want to see in the future? When and how much?

The "Dream Board" will help you determine your dreams and goals exactly. Stick on a regular sheet of drawing paper that depict everything that you want to have in life. Own island, home, happy family or business. Hang this picture on the wall and look at it often. You can add or correct something. So with the power of desire, you will help yourself not to lose aspirations towards the goal and keep your mood in good shape.

Most often, the person himself becomes the cause of the lack of money. We offer you the top 6 causes of poverty.

Wealth is a privilege

In today's society, everyone has a level playing field in order to become rich. It all depends on the desire and effort. And there are many ways - cryptocurrency, work from home, work on the Internet, investments, passive income, or even your own business. Each method involves its own difficulties, but after all, "water does not flow under a lying stone."

Only smart people can be rich

Previously, it was believed that only those who received higher education could be rich. However, it is not. As an example, we can recall the creators of Dell, IKEA, Facebook or Microsoft. They were either expelled from educational institutions, or could not even enter there. The examples are a little vague, but they are there.

Saving

Instead of thinking again about saving anything, it's better to look at job ads. Maybe you can make more money by saving or taking another job?

Again - today earnings and total monthly income began to depend more on the person and his ability and desire to earn. But it's much easier to talk about how good life is for others, isn't it?

Fear

Many people who have become millionaires have experienced a lot of failure, and that's okay. However, do not be afraid of mistakes. On the contrary, it is worth taking them as a valuable lesson.

Money is bad

This is partly true - where there is big money, there are big problems. However, money in the right hands cannot be attributed to something bad. Money must either be invested or spent.

attitude towards the rich

Perhaps this is one of the most serious psychological problems. Many people of medium or low income are convinced that the way to get rich is through fraud, parents, sex, or through other not the most pleasant and not the most honest ways.

Therefore, a person who thinks so will not be rich, so as not to become one of such a list of people despised by him. However, many of those who are rich have made their own wealth. Many do charity work or help the poor.
