There is a wide choice of different professions and I`d like to tell you about my hesitation what to choose. In my childhood I wanted to become a famous singer or actor but when I was aware of all the difficulties of these professions I decided to refuse of my dream. Then I was going to become a vet. I imagined myself treating different animals, taking care of them, feeding and walking with them in the park, but this dream hadn`t also come true.

It goes without saying that every person must choose his profession according his natural abilities and inclinations to it. So I have decided to connect my life with a profession of a teacher because I am sure that it`s my cup of tea. On the one hand it`s a great responsibility for children, on the other hand it`s a very interesting, exciting and valuable profession in our life. Besides you won`t be able to succeed as a teacher if you don`t like children. Your success depends on a lot of things. At first you should be communicative, very organized and hardworking. You must be skilful in your profession. It is also necessary to understand pupils, give them a helping hand and be ready to solve their problems. More than that you must be polite and tactful.

Profession of a teacher is a great profession and it is known that who doesn`t work in this sphere, won`t be able to understand all the essence of it.

Nowadays there are thousands of different occupations but the most important role in choosing this or that one, plays a salary, of course. It is so, but to my mind, it`s impossible to work only for that purpose "earning a lot of money".Our job must bring us satisfaction and always only pleasant emotions. So in conclusion I`d like to advise people to choose their profession carefully, taking every thing into their consideration.

Это так, но, на мой взгляд, невозможно работать только с этой целью «зарабатывать много денег». Наша работа должна приносить нам удовлетворение и всегда только приятные эмоции. Поэтому в заключение я бы посоветовал людям тщательно выбирать свою профессию, принимая все во внимание.

What do you want to be when you grow up? We have heard this question many times during our school years. Perhaps, it was difficult for us to give a definite answer earlier. But now we understand that the time to choose our future profession has come. Finishing school is the beginning of an independent life for millions of school-leavers. Many roads are open before us: technical schools, colleges and universities. Centuries ago there were only a few jobs: people were farmers, bakers, butchers or carpenters. Today there are thousands of different kinds of jobs, and new ones are constantly appearing. No wonder that it is not an easy thing to make the right choice.

When choosing a future career, we should consider different factors. In my opinion, money is one of the most important factors when you make a choice. There are highly paid jobs and low-paid jobs. For example, a businessman, a president or a film star, are highly paid jobs. A worker, a doctor or an engineer, are low-paid jobs. I think everybody wants to earn as much money as possible. Training, promotional prospects and conditions should be also taken into account.

On the other hand, it"s good when you get satisfaction from your job. It is very important to choose a profession that suits your interests. In my opinion, a job should be interesting and socially important. Some jobs are considered to be more suitable for men and others for women. For example, the professions of secretary or nurse are more suitable for women. A lifeguard or a pilot are more likely the jobs for men. You should also decide whether you want to work indoors or outdoors.

To make the right choice, you should take into account your traits of character. It goes without saying that to become a good doctor you must be patient, caring and kind. Teacher"s work requires love for children, profound knowledge of subjects, and the ability to explain. A secretary has to be efficient and careful in order to do her work quickly and accurately. Salespeople need to be friendly and persuasive, to get people buy their products.

There are so many people who influence us in choosing our occupation. Parents and friends play a very important role in our choices.

My father works for an international company as a managing director. It is a highly paid job and it offers a lot of opportunities. You can travel abroad and meet different people. My father is a friendly person and he is easy to talk to. He thinks that I must choose my future profession according to my taste and preferences. I respect him and I want to become a businessman, too.

I have always been interested in economics and I am good at Maths. I have an aptitude for working with people, and I think I"m rather communicative and have good social skills. I have good analytical abilities and I am good at problem-solving. Besides, I am good at English. English has become the standard language for all kinds of international business communications. To know English today is absolutely necessary for every businessman.

To become a successful businessman you should know a lot. So after finishing school I want to enter the university and to study marketing or management. Management deals mainly with people. A manager is a person who directly supervises people in an organization. Managers spend a great deal of time communicating, coordinating and making decisions affecting the daily operations of their organization. Almost everything, a manager does, involves decisions, and in decision-making there is always uncertainty and risk. So managing is a very interesting, but difficult, job.

Marketing deals with market research and commercial activity in general. It involves analyzing business situations, evaluating market opportunities, developing market strategies and controlling their implementation. It is important for a specialist in marketing to be flexible and prepared to make adjustments where necessary, as it is unlikely that any marketing plan will succeed exactly as planned.

I haven"t decided yet what to study. But I still have time to think and to choose.

The matter of choosing a career

I’m going to tell you about my future profession. There are two most important things in anyone’s life: choosing a career and getting a job. Some pupils know what they are going to do after leaving school but for others it’s difficult to give a definite answer about their future profession. We get to know about a wide range of professions from magazines and advertisements and then we make either our own choice or follow our parents’ advice as they are also concerned about our future.

Choosing a career

When choosing a career one should take into consideration all the possibilities that it might provide. First of all, it should be interesting. Secondly, one has to be sure to be able to find a good and well-paid job after graduating. Another important factor that influences the choice of the profession is our abilities to different disciplines. One has to analyze thoroughly which things or subjects he or she is good at, and only then make a final choice.

I want to be an interpreter

As for me, since my childhood I’ve known I want to be an interpreter. My choice is closely connected with the importance of foreign languages and cultures which is growing nowadays. Foreign languages are needed for communication with people on our planet. I believe that among all, English is the most universal and widely spread. It’s an official language in a vast number of countries. Besides, it’s the language of international aviation, sports, medicine, the language of science and technology, trade, cultural and business relations.

Conclusion

I’m quite aware that the job of an interpreter isn’t an easy one. You have to be very communicative and responsible. Moreover, be prepared to work long hours and move around a lot. But on the other hand you’ll have a chance to travel to different foreign countries and to meet a lot of interesting people. I think this profession is worth taking up. Being a student of the University I pay special attention to English and try to work hard. I hope I’ve made the right decision.

I am a school-leaver and this year I am finishing school. When you leave school, you understand that the time to choose your future profession has come. It is not an easy task to choose the right job for you.

There are a lot of different professions and it is really hard to choose the one, which would be interesting for you and will help you earn your living. Generally, I think that choosing the right job is the main question not only for a school-leaver, but also for all the family.

I would like to become a teacher. In my opinion, to be a teacher is not an easy task because you need not only to love children, but you also should have an ability to explain things clearly, know your subject profoundly and be an all around person. Though this is not the easiest task, I am sure that I have got almost all necessary qualities to become a really good teacher.

Nowadays it is very important to know a foreign language, especially English. More and more people need qualified teachers to teach them today. I understand that this profession is greatly demanded and that is why I would like to become an English teacher. This year I am going to enter the department of foreign languages at the local .

My future profession

Future profession is a very important choice in every human life. Sooner or later everybody thinks about the profession. There are a lot of interesting professions in the world and I"d love to learn a few of them. It is very difficult to make a choice once and not to make a mistake. But desires don’t always coincide with possibilities.
Sometimes we do not choose what we need: some of us go to learn, where our friends learn, others study profession chosen by their parents. And only later a person realizes: “It’s not my cup of tea”: soul does not lie to her. The person making the choice must think not about how this or that profession will be paid or if there is a demand for it, and not about the tips of others. You should certainly listen to the opinions of adults, they never wish you bad, but it is the choice of your own and it must be done independently.

On the verge of leaving school we are often asked what we want to be, where we proceed, what we are going to do in future. Some answer confidently what they want to link their lives with, others respond less confident, still doubting their choice. Not to suffer the wrong choice of profession in the future, you need to treat it with full responsibility and seriousness. But I still believe that it is not necessary to doubt in your choice, you need to act, to follow your heart’s calling.

For a long time I had doubts about my career choice, but at the last moment I centered college to study for a degree in travel and tourism. Now I"m on the third course and I do not regret my choice at all. I’d never thought before about the profession I chose. And now I"m glad I took the risk. I faced a great variety of opportunities. I have enough time to study and work, and I am not a burden. Besides, I can travel around the world not only as a tourist but as a specialist as well.

Youth is a period of one’s life that is more likely to commit errors. And even if after 15 years of training, you have not managed to find yourself - don’t give up. The main thing is to do what you like. Your job should not be just a job, should be fun, should not be a burden and should not be used for making money only. I would like people not to feel sorry for their choice of future profession. So I wish all of you to find the occupation you like.

Будущая профессия - это очень важный выбор в жизни каждого человека. Рано или поздно о профессии задумываются все. На свете есть множество интересных профессий, и я бы хотела выучиться на некоторые из них. Сделать выбор сразу и не ошибиться очень трудно. Но не всегда желания совпадают с возможностями.

Иногда мы выбираем не то, что нам нужно: некоторые из нас идут учиться туда, где учатся наши друзья, другие учатся той профессии, которую выбрали для них родители. И только позже человек понимает, что это не его профессия: не лежит к ней душа. Человек, делающий выбор, должен думать не о том, как будет оплачиваться та или иная профессия, есть ли спрос на нее, и не о том, что посоветуют тебе другие. Конечно, следует прислушаться к мнению взрослых, они никогда не пожелают плохого, но это выбор каждого и его нужно сделать самостоятельно.

На пороге выхода из школы нас часто спрашивают, кем мы хотим быть, куда поступим, чем мы собираемся заниматься в будущем. Некоторые отвечают уверенно, с чем они хотят связать свою жизнь, другие отвечают менее уверенно, все еще сомневаясь в своем выборе. Чтобы не мучиться по поводу неправильного выбора профессии в будущем, нужно отнестись к этому со всей ответственностью и серьезностью. Но я все же считаю, что не нужно сомневаться в своем выборе, нужно действовать, идти туда, куда тянет.

Долгое время я сомневалась в своем выборе профессии, но в последний момент поступила в колледж на специальность «Туризм». Сейчас я на 3 курсе и нисколько не жалею о своем выборе. Я никогда и не задумывалась раньше о той профессии, которую выбрала и сейчас рада, что рискнула. Передо мной открылось множество возможностей. Я успеваю учиться и работать, и мне это не в тягость. Кроме того, я смогу путешествовать по всему миру не только, как турист, но еще и как специалист.

Молодость - это такой период жизни, в который больше всего совершаешь ошибок. И даже, если после 15 лет обучения вы так и не нашли себя — не надо сдаваться. Главное - делать то, что тебе нравится. Ваша работа не должна быть просто работой, она должна приносить удовольствие, не должна быть обузой, не должна быть только для зарабатывания денег. Очень хочется, чтобы люди не жалели в будущем о своем выборе. Поэтому я желаю всем найти занятие по душе.
