Чтобы получить Root права на

Samsung S5830 (i,g) Ace необходимо:

Step-by-step guide of rooting Galaxy Ace S5830i manually

To get started, backup all files and applications on your phone first, preventing data from losing.

Step 1. Check the battery on your phone and make sure it"s not less than 70%, which can promise you a full rooting.

Step 2. Go to Settings > Applications > Development > check the box before USB Debugging . This step is optional. You can skip it if you"ve enabled USB debugging before.

Step 3. Download update-s5830i.zip and save it on your computer as a preparing work. Don"t try to unzip it after downloading. You actually don"t need to.

Step 4. Connect your device to the computer. Copy the ZIP file you downloaded at the former step to the root folder of SD card on your phone.

Step 5. After pasting the file, disconnect your phone and turn it off. When it"s totally switched off, press the Volume Up + Power + Home buttons at the same time to go to recovery mode.

Step 6. On the recovery mode menu, you can use the Volume key to choose the options. Select Apply update from SD card and choose the downloaded ZIP file that you"ve copied to the root folder of the SD card.

Step 7. Wait for a moment. When the process is completed, select Reboot system now to get your phone rebooted.

Step 8. The rebooting will take you a few minutes. After that, your Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i has been rooted.

Step 9. If you want to check whether you phone is rooted or not, you can go to the Google Play store to search for Root Checker. Install and open it on your phone, you"ll find whether you Galaxy Ace S5830i is rooted or not.

  • There is always a risk that your device gets switch off due to low battery power. This may lead to interruption in the flashing process. So ensure that your device has a sufficient battery backup at least upto 70%.
  • This procedure will void your device warranty. But if you want to regain it back then you can do that by un-rooting your Ace.
  • The process involves transfer of files between PC and your mobile. For that, you must enable the USB Debugging mode on your device by following the given path: Menu->Settings->Applications->Development->USB Debugging.
  • Backup all your important data and settings on your PC or external SD card for safety. This is essential as disaster can knock your door without knowing you. So take a complete backup of your Contacts, SMS/MMS, call logs, notes, APN settings etc. Also in the last step of this procedure you need to wipe all the data present on your phones memory. So a backup is must.
  • Ensure that mobile specific drivers are installed on your Computer for detecting your phone when connected through USB cable. You can install them by installing Samsung Kies or manually install them from the link given below:

Procedure to Root Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i:

Step 1: Download the Root package from the above link and transfer it (without extracting) on your device using the USB cable. Remember not to place it in deep directories.

Step 2: Now boot your Galaxy Ace into its stock recovery mode. For that firstly switch off your phone completely.

Step 3: Home button (Middle button) and Power button

Step 4: In this recovery mode, touch will not work. So you need to use Volume Up and Volume Down keys for navigation and Home button

Step 5: Update from SD card’ option and select it using the Home button. This will show all the files and folders located on the external SD card including the Root Package file which you have copied earlier.

Step 6: Now again using the volume keys, navigate to the Root Package (Update.zip) file and select it. On the next screen select Yes. This will start the Rooting process and will last for a minute.

Step 7: After that click back button to return to the main screen of Recovery mode. Select the ‘Reboot system now’

That’s it! Your Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i is successfully rooted. An app named Superuser installed on your phone will confirm that your device is properly rooted. This Superuser app supervises each and every app that requires a root access. Now you can easily play with the system settings of your phone.

Procedure to Install (Clockworkmod) CWM recovery on Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i:

Step 1: Download the CWM package from the above link and transfer it (without extracting) on your device using the USB cable. Remember not to place it in deep directories.

Step 2: Again boot the device into its stock recovery mode. For that firstly switch off your phone completely.

Step 3: For Galaxy Ace, Recovery mode can be entered by holding Home button (Middle button) and Power button simultaneously until the recovery mode appears.

Step 4: Use Volume Up and Volume Down keys for navigation and Home button (Middle button) for selection.

Step 5: Using the volume keys navigate to the ‘Update from SD card’ option and select it using the Home button. This will show all your files and folders located on the external SD card including the CWM Package file which you have copied earlier.

Step 6: Now again using the volume keys, navigate to the CWM Package (CWM-recovery-S5830i.zip) file and select it. On the next screen select Yes. This will start the CWM flashing process and will last for a minute.

Step 7: Return to the main screen of Recovery mode. Select the ‘Reboot system now’ option to reboot your device.

Step 8: After successfully completing the process, again boot your device into recovery mode by holding Home button (Middle button) and Power button simultaneously until the recovery mode appears. You’ll notice that CWM recovery is installed on your device.

Step 9: Now select ‘Wipe data/factory reset ’ option followed by the ‘Wipe Cache partition ’ option on the recovery mode to wipe all the data and caches from your phone memory. You can reboot your phone now by selecting ‘reboot system now’ option from the recovery mode itself.
