The 2016 Dog Show is held according to breed, with a general division into ranks and classes. Thus, the main ranks used in cynology today include the CACIB and CAC standards. In addition, if, for example, a monobreed exhibition of German shepherds 2016 is organized, then the standards of the National Breed Club (NEP-RKF), which recognizes German shepherds, may be applied to it.

Dog shows throughout 2016 are organized by breed, with a general division into ranks and classes. For example, today such ranks as CACIB and CAC are known. 1. Excellent is awarded to an animal that is considered practically the standard of the breed or has minimal flaws.
2. Very good - this title is awarded to a pet that has all the characteristics of the breed, with the presence of several minor deficiencies.
3. Good - here the animal already has visible flaws, but basically the pet meets the breed standard.
4. Satisfactory - this rating is awarded when the dog, although it meets the breed standard, has complicated deficiencies.

There are two more ratings that are given to pets entered, for example, at the Chihuahua exhibition in Moscow 2016.

This is a disqualification and cannot be judged/ without evaluation. In the first version, the dog does not at all meet the standards accepted for this breed and has significant shortcomings. Such breed defects can be:

• non-standard color;
• clear signs of albinism;
• defects identified in the structure of the jaws.

In the second case, a dog is evaluated that is not accustomed to behave correctly in the ring, that is, it constantly breaks or jumps, not allowing the judges to evaluate itself. A dog that does not allow itself to be touched, does not allow its bite to be examined, or shows signs of aggressiveness towards the judge may also receive such an assessment. In addition, animals are also evaluated in the case when an attempt is detected, with the help of medications or other methods, to mask the errors of a particular dog relative to the accepted breed standard.

In addition, the ring judge may also award certain titles and issue certificates corresponding to them. There are more than a dozen of them in total; you can get the next title only by winning the previous one. It is worth remembering that without the appropriate documents, this or that award is considered not awarded, therefore it is necessary to carefully store all certificates and other documents issued during the exhibitions.

Preparation for participation in the exhibition

In order to take part in the exhibition, you will need to study, for example, when the hunting exhibition 2016 is held. This can be done on the websites of local kennel clubs, as well as on the RKF website in the “Exhibition Calendar” section. In addition, it is also worth clarifying the conditions for their holding, because there are paid and free exhibitions. In the case where the exhibition is paid, your participation in it may cost 1,000 - 2,000 rubles.

At the same time, it is worth taking care of registration at the exhibition in advance in order to be able to collect all the documents necessary for this. Experienced dog breeders note that the application for participation itself should be submitted several days before the deadline for accepting applications, since in this case the cost of participation in it can be significantly reduced.

Each exhibition has its own rules, but there is also a general set of documents and items that make sense to take to it. So, if you are planning a German Shepherd Dog Show 2016 Moscow, then you will need to take with you to it:

• veterinary passport of the animal with its vaccinations;
• a copy of the animal’s pedigree, and for the puppy and junior class – a copy of the puppy card;

1. Go through veterinary control by presenting certificates and veterinary passports. Typically, veterinary control employees are located directly next to the entrance and are quite easy to find. After passing veterinary control, you must be given a document authorizing subsequent registration.
2. Complete registration. Registration tables are usually located further than the veterinary control table, and there you need to submit a veterinary control certificate and receive an exhibition participant number. This number corresponds to the catalog number of your pet, and it will be necessary to check with the registrar the number of the ring in which your breed will be examined.
3. Check with the rig secretary for the start time of showing your dog and subsequently show the animal in accordance with the established rules of behavior on it.

If your pet is truly an excellent example of the breed, you should consider hiring a handler, that is, a person who professionally shows dogs at shows.

The cost of his services is approximately 1,000 - 3,000 rubles per show, but you will be absolutely sure that your dog will strictly comply with all the rules established by the exhibition organizers for the animal’s presence in the ring.

Self-demonstration of a dog

During this time, the judge must examine your pet, check its bite and testes, and perform all other procedures prescribed by the rules.

After being examined in a static position, the dog is examined while moving; for this, it is allowed on the left, and the leash or ring is held in the left hand. In this case, the owner runs with his pet in order to emphasize the naturalness of its movement, while the speed of movement is maintained at an average level.

The type of movement of the dog is trot or amble. The dog should not run at a jerky pace or break off the leash. The direction of movement is from the expert to the opposite side of the ring with a turn and movement along the fences to the left corner. After this, another turn is made, and the movement is carried out in the reverse order towards the expert. At the same time, the organizers of the exhibition have the right to advance the order of movement in the ring, both in a “circle” and “triangle”.

If your pet is awarded any award, you will receive it at the end of the event at a special ceremony. In this case, information about the award will be entered in his pedigree. In physical terms, such an award can be either a medal of various denominations or a ceremonial ribbon on the chest.

Experienced dog breeders advise beginners not to be upset if the dog does not receive the highest score the first time. The fact is that if the 2016 Yorkshire Terrier Show took place and your pet did not earn high marks, in a few years he may move to another age category, where he will be better rated.

Principles of participation in exhibitions

However, for Russia there is a rather pleasant bonus associated with the vast spaces of our homeland, which prevent the participation of representatives from the regions in events organized by canine associations. In this regard, our country has the opportunity to gradually “collect” the title of national club champion by obtaining certificates.

The participation of your pet and you in competitions can be greatly simplified by promptly joining one of the kennel clubs operating in your region. World Dog Show 2016 Schedule

The RKF received the honorary right to host the largest exhibition in the world in July 2011 in Paris at the FCI General Assembly dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the federation. Timed to coincide with the 25th Anniversary of the RKF, the 2016 World Championship will become the most significant event in Russian cynology, with a unique style and grandiose scope!

PROGRAM
The 2016 World Championship is preparing to welcome over 25,000 dogs of more than 300 breeds from 35 countries. Reputable judges, a rich competition program, spacious rings, an extensive exhibition of companies producing food, accessories and cosmetics for animals - all this at the main Dog Show in Russia!

World Dog Show-2016 will be held at Crocus Expo IEC

The exhibition will take place in one of the largest exhibition centers in the world - the international exhibition center Crocus Expo. The total area of ​​the four exhibition halls in which the exhibition will be held is 400,000 sq.m.
The center is located next to a multi-lane highway exit. Nearby there is free parking for 26,000 cars and a Moscow metro station, which will make the movement of exhibition guests as convenient as possible.

Obedience World Championship

From June 30 to July 3, the World International Obedience Standards Championships will be held in Moscow.
About 100 dogs and their owners from around the world will take part in the competition!
The most obedient dogs will compete for the title of World Champions in individual and team competitions!

On June 23-26, the World Dog Dancing Championships will take place as part of the exhibition. The competition will be held in two
disciplines: “Moving side by side to music (HTM)” and “Freestyle”. Over 80 dogs and their owners from more than 10 countries will compete for the title of World Champions in individual and team competitions!

The panel of judges will include famous athletes and experienced judges from the UK, Switzerland, Finland and Holland. For the first time, one of the World Championship judges will be a representative from Russia.
Team starts will take place over two days. On the last day, the final of the competition will take place, where the winners of the Championship in each discipline will be selected from the 10 best dance couples in the world.

Flyball

Flyball is a team relay race, the essence of which is that each dog from the team must
overcome 4 barriers as quickly as possible, press the installation lever, catch the ball, turn around and, having overcome all the same barriers, bring the ball to the finish line. Each round involves two teams of four dogs each. The competition is held on two parallel tracks. The height of the hurdles is set depending on the length of the front legs of the smallest dog in the team. The minimum height of the barriers is 17.5 cm, and the maximum is 35 cm. A dog of any breed can practice flyball. But there is less time for training and a greater chance of winning for dogs that have developed a strong retrieval skill and impeccable execution of the recall command, that is, for dogs that have completed the usual general training course.

Veterinary requirements for exhibitors:

1. These requirements have been developed in accordance with the Unified Veterinary Requirements for goods subject to veterinary control (supervision), approved by the decision of the Customs Union Commission dated June 18, 2010 No. 317 (as amended on February 2, 2016) “On the application of veterinary and sanitary measures in customs union" and all relevant regulations and orders of regulatory organizations
1.1. Clinically healthy dogs from territories free from contagious animal diseases are allowed to participate in the exhibition:
- anthrax;
- rabies, tuberculosis - during the last 6 months in the administrative territory.
1.2. No later than 20 days before shipment, animals are vaccinated if they have not been vaccinated within the last 12 months:
- against rabies. The import and movement of dogs not vaccinated against rabies is not allowed;
- against canine distemper, hepatitis, viral enteritis, parvo- and adenovirus infections, leptospirosis.

Dogs selected for participation in the exhibition are subject to diagnostic tests and preventive vaccination during a 30-day quarantine period.
Animals must have a veterinary certificate, Form No. 1, in accordance with current legislation.
Without veterinary accompanying documentation (form No. 1) or not completed in accordance with the procedure established by law, animals are not allowed to participate in the Exhibition.

ATTENTION!
You are coming to a region where there is a high risk of contracting babesiosis from tick bites. You need to treat your dogs before flying to Moscow. During the World Dog Show, please inspect your dogs after walking them. In addition, we recommend treating dogs against mosquitoes, because there is a possibility of heartworm infection. We appreciate your understanding and hope that your dogs will not get sick during the exhibition.
