OGE grading scale Russian language. Translation of OGE points in Russian

The OGE assessment criteria for any 9th grade student are like a sword for Landsknecht - a thing that you need to know everything about and be able to use it.

We are sure that it is no secret to anyone that the main goal of each examinee is not so much to prove his competence in a particular subject, but to cross the minimum passing threshold and score the highest possible score.

To help you cope with the first big challenge of your life, we've revisited the classic concept of the spoilage scale. A thoughtful study of the criteria will allow you to avoid mistakes when completing tasks, carry out thoughtful checks and correctly approach the preparation process.

How many points do you need to score on the OGE?

In order to move to the tenth grade, you need to pass a minimum threshold, which indicates that the student has mastered the basic set of knowledge acquired throughout the entire nine-year education.

In the case of college admissions, the situation usually looks somewhat different. Most secondary vocational institutions admit students based on grades in their certificates (the so-called certificate competition).

But the grades in the certificate, in turn, are given based on the arithmetic average between the annual grade and the one received in the exam, after converting the latter into a five-point system (it’s easy to check the difference between the estimated grades on a calculator).

For this reason, those who want to immediately go to get a secondary technical education should start preparing for the exam ahead of time, so as not to deal with the resulting problems in the form of retakes after the exam.

Evaluation criteria for the OGE in mathematics

The OGE in mathematics is conventionally divided into three parts: algebra, geometry and practical problems (some of the problems belong to the first or second part, but are closer to reality).

If you pay attention to the conversion tables, you will find that for a top three it is enough to get only eight points.

However, it is worth considering that the student will not be able to receive a satisfactory grade, because at least two points out of eight must be obtained for geometry problems.

For this reason, when preparing, try to pay attention to both algebra and geometry to avoid embarrassment.

Assessment system for the OGE in the Russian language

This exam is a little more complicated than the previous one. According to the assessment rules, it is closer in spirit to the Unified State Exam, so you can get used to it now.

Conventionally, it can be divided into a semi-test part and a written part (presentation and essay).

If everything is clear with the first (scores are simply given in accordance with the table of correct answers), then when assessing the second, the “gk1-gk4” calculator comes into force.

Don't be intimidated by the acronym. Now we'll explain everything. The first "GK" concerns your spelling. The second is the level of compliance with punctuation standards (punctuation marks). The third is grammar in composition and presentation. The fourth is compliance with speech norms (literary language, absence of problems with coordination, etc.).

By paying attention to the above points, you are more likely to get a high score.

Take into account: If you score less than six points for completing the tasks of the second part, then you will not get an A.

Criteria for assessing the OGE in biology

Biology refers to a list of specialized exams that are used to select students for specialized classes.

In order to get a “four”, it is enough to scrape together twenty-six points. At the same time, the Ministry of Education recommends taking those who received thirty-three points based on the assessment results.

It is worth understanding that the bar, in this case, is protective. Its goal is to ensure that only those children who are ready to perceive new material based on what they have already received are in the specialized class.

How is the OGE in social studies assessed?

The OGE in social studies is divided into a couple of parts - 25 tasks with short answers and 6 tasks with extended answers: here the student is required to analyze the text and enter all the necessary data on a separate answer form.

In order to pass the 15-point threshold (three) with honor, it is enough to complete fifteen tasks from the first part.

You will have to fight for an A: you need to get at least 34 points.

Criteria for assessing the OGE in computer science

When assessing the general state exam in computer science, the full range of knowledge that may be required for further work in IT areas is tested.

Unfortunately, this does not always coincide with the school curriculum - please pay attention to this.

When assessing work, both theoretical knowledge (tasks on converting from one number system to another, etc.) and practical knowledge (array processing and programming) are taken into account.

To receive a satisfactory grade, score five points out of a possible twenty-two. However, to transfer to a specialized class, you will be required to have more than 15 initial points.

Geography points on the OGE

A student taking the OGE in Geography is required to show complete mastery of the course for grades 7-9.

Greater emphasis is placed on assessing cartographic skills and the geography of the Russian Federation, the study of which is devoted to the last two years of study.

To overcome the minimum threshold, it is enough to get 12 points out of 32. The Ministry of Education, in turn, advises schools when recruiting specialized classes to pay attention to students who have received at least 24 points.

To receive an “excellent” grade, you will need 27 points or more.

Criteria for assessing the OGE in English

To successfully pass this exam, you will need knowledge in three different areas: speaking, grammar and vocabulary.

The first includes listening to the text with marking the required answers and the oral stage, the second and third include the written and test parts.

To get a grade of “three”, it is enough to score 29 points out of 70 possible. If you want to get an “A”, then you will need to get 59+ points in total.

OGE scores in physics

The maximum possible score in physics is 40.

You can get it if you take a responsible approach to preparing knowledge in this natural science field and systematizing it.

The minimum threshold is 10 points. It is easy to achieve by completing only the tasks of the simplified part.

If you want to get an “excellent” grade, then pay more attention to the tasks on the last page of the exam: you need to win 31+ points.

OGE scores and grades in chemistry

This exam stands out from others due to its “floating” grading scale.

It is so called because there are two similar, but differing in one detail, options for conducting it - with a real experiment (max. point = 40) and without it (max. Point = 34).

To get a 3 in both cases you need 9 raw points. In the case of an “excellent” grade, you must earn 27+ in the exam without the experiment and 29+ with it.

Passing grade for 10th grade

In order to get into 10th grade, each student is required to pass 4 exams. Of these, 2 exams are mandatory (Russian and mathematics) and 2 additional ones, chosen by the student independently. To see the minimum scores, please pay attention to the table.

Scale for converting primary scores of the OGE 2016

As in previous years, the OGE-2016 (GIA-9) is conducted in 14 academic subjects. Graduates of 9th grade take two compulsory exams in the Russian language and mathematics, as well as two exams in any elective subject. Let us remind you that last year students could limit themselves to only two compulsory subjects, and take the rest on a voluntary basis.

Primary scores for completing the OGE examination work are converted to a mark on a 5-point scale. In this regard, the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements (FIPI) published “Recommendations for the use and interpretation of the results of examination papers for the main state exam (OGE) in 2016.” Regional commissions are given the right to change the scale of transferring points up or down in compulsory subjects.

The points received on the OGE and recalculated into a five-point system affect the grades in the certificate in the corresponding subject. The certificate contains the average between the mark received on the OGE and the annual mark in the subject. Rounding is done according to the rules of mathematics, that is, 3.5 is rounded to 4, and 4.5 to 5. In addition, the results of the OGE of students can be used for admission to specialized classes of secondary school.

Graduates can find out their grades for the exam at their school after the work has been checked and the results have been approved.

FIPI draws the attention of teachers and school leaders to the fact that the scales for converting primary scores into marks on a five-point scale for the OGE are of a RECOMMENDATIONAL NATURE.

For 9th grade students, the beginning of spring is associated with preparation for passing the main state exam. The Institute of Pedagogical Measurements has developed a detailed program for successfully passing the exam and a special scale for the distribution of marks in the score-grade ratio.

Scale for converting OGE 2018 points into grades: the most common mistakes on the OGE

When taking the OGE in the Russian language, there are many spelling errors in the written part of the exam. This mainly happens due to the inattention and confusion of schoolchildren. Before the exam, it is important to focus on reviewing your accumulated knowledge and concentrating on certain tasks.

Spelling “not or neither” in sentences is one of the main mistakes students make. It must be remembered that the difference between these two particles depends on the meaning of the phrase: “not” - denies, “neither” - strengthens.

Punctuation marks are also important. The best cure for this is to pronounce the sentence in your head. This will allow you to intuitively place all punctuation marks.

Errors when taking a math exam are also of a similar nature. All teachers focus on students’ confusion and inability to correctly apply well-known formulas.

In the section of the social studies exam “Man and Society,” words that are similar at first glance often cause confusion, but do not be misled. It will be useful to simply look through the dictionary of the meanings of certain words and build a chain of associations of these words in your head. Based on this knowledge, you will be able to pass the exam with ease.

In the “Economy” section, experts highlight terms such as extensive intensive growth. You need to remember that the prefix “ex” is associated with external indicators, and “in” with internal indicators.

The most common mistake in the legal section is the incorrect interpretation of misdemeanor and crime. You need to pay attention to these points.

From the experience of past years, three main ones can be distinguished from typical mistakes in biology and geography: the material of difficult-to-understand sections must be worked on independently at odd times; carefully read the conditions of examination tasks; You should not guess the answers to test tasks; you need to justify your choice.

Scale for converting OGE 2018 points into grades: ratio of points to grade

Passing the main state exam will confirm the certificate of ninth-graders. After the exam, you will move to grade 10 or enter a college or technical school. To pass, the student will need to pass a final test in two main subjects and three optional subjects. Points for completing assignments are converted into a grade on a 5-point scale.

In the Russian language you can score from 15 to 39 points, where 15 points will be equivalent to a mark of 3.

Results in the subject of mathematics must be in the range from 8 to 32 points.

The maximum number of points in the subject of social studies is 39 points. You must score a minimum of 15 points for a satisfactory grade in the subject.

When passing an exam in foreign languages, the required number of points varies from 29 to 70. The minimum and maximum number corresponds to marks 3 and 5.

The maximum number of points for the OGE in physics is 40, the minimum is 10.

The subject of chemistry is presented in two variations: with and without an experiment. For the first option you can get from 9 to 38 points, and for the second - 9-34 points.

For completing tasks in biology you can get 46 points. The minimum allowed number of points in this subject is 13.

To obtain a positive grade in geography, you must obtain a minimum of 12 points. An “excellent” rating will correspond to 32 points.

In history, the student will have to score at least 13 points out of a possible 44.

You will need to get a minimum of 12 points in the literature exam. The maximum number of points will be 33, which corresponds to the mark of 5.

The maximum in computer science will be 22 points, and the minimum will be 5 points per subject.

The final grades in subjects will be used for the subsequent enrollment of students and distribution into specialized classes.

Scale for converting OGE 2018 points into grades: the impact of OGE results on the school certificate

In 2017, it was decided that the grade for the OGE will not be displayed in the school certificate of ninth-graders, but will influence the final grade for a particular subject. Previously, in 2017, the result was taken into account only for the Russian language and mathematics, but starting from 2018, the score on the OGE will affect the score on the certificate in selected subjects. When calculating the overall score for a subject, the final grade will be rounded in favor of the student.
