This summer, the International Children's Center "Artek" hosts the largest international session of 2019 "We are different - we are equal", in which students of the Sibai Institute of Bashkir State University take part. "Russian-Bashkir, Bashkir-Russian dictionary of terms in zoology" by Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Safargali Yanturin is intended for school teachers, students of secondary specialized and higher educational institutions, journalists, translators and a wide range of readers interested in living nature. Safargali Yanturin is the author of 200 scientific works, including 10 monographs, 12 textbooks, was awarded the Academician V.I. Vernadsky, is an Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Belarus. More than half a century has passed since the dictionary on zoology, compiled by T. Baishev in 1952, was published. At the end of May, the annual programming championship was held, organized by the Yandex company, in which several teachers of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology of the Sterlitamak branch of the Bashkir State University took part. Analysts usually write in the Python programming language and work with large streams of information, such as logs from Yandex, metrics, user sessions, technical server logs, etc. Within the framework of the championship, as well as for further work, the foundations of mathematical statistics, probability theory and discrete mathematics are needed. This is basic knowledge that helps to make correct, reasonable conclusions about processes. In mid-July of this year, the finalists of the programming championship were awarded.
