Interpretation of the hexagram in the translation of the canonical text of the Book of Changes. There is nothing worse than being empty

Description of external and hidden hexagrams

in the manifested world.
Huge, dangerous waves are walking in the boundless blue ocean. It seems that life itself is a continuous series of dangerous situations and problems.
Right under the ocean abyss, a fire was born at the bottom. Under the yoke of danger on the inner plane, passions flare up and solutions to problems are born.
It became very light and clear in the ocean depths, which had not seen light before. There comes an inner insight, it becomes clear what was previously shrouded in mystery.
It was from the bowels of the earth that fiery lava broke through to the surface. The insight that came from the deep plane begins to change the manifested reality.
Water, faced with a very powerful fire, immediately turns into clouds of steam. Dangers and problems simply evaporate with a new look at them.
Where only yesterday dangerous ocean waves were walking, tomorrow a flame will rage, escaping from the depths of the earth. The world that yesterday seemed like a series of dangerous problems, tomorrow, thanks to a flash of insight, will appear in a completely different light. Everything will become clear and understandable. The new awareness will generate very great passions.

ON THE SUBCONSCIOUSNESS
The flames of a forest fire covered the very sky! The great intensity of emotions and passions caused by dangerous events forced everything else out of life.
It became brighter and clearer than ever. A flash of insight made everything clear and understandable.
From the raging fire, a huge sea, locked underground, woke up. Illumination and emotions awakened something huge and dangerous, hidden in the depths of the subconscious.
Underground water rushed to the surface in a stormy stream, extinguishing the fire. The awakened bulk from the depths of the subconscious began to change the world, immediately extinguishing passions and emotions.
Where the flames of a forest fire raged before, dangerous sea waves will walk tomorrow. The fire of passions will go out, and all attention will be captured by a new, huge and dangerous facet of reality.

General description of hexagram №63

In the manifested world, passions flare up under the yoke of obstacles. A very, very powerful (the fire evaporates the whole ocean) inner illumination sets in, resolving the accumulated dangerous problems. Fire illuminates everything! Everything, literally everything, will become clear and understandable. Awareness of such extraordinary power completes the whole stage, the plan of life. This is the ABSOLUTE COMPLETION. This is the absolute achievement of the goal with devastation (because it is absolute) and the transition to the next level.

Passions and emotions are raging on the subtle plane because of a premonition of great danger. Cohesion with the situation increases (property of fire). This leads to insight, to an understanding of ways to solve problems. However, this clarity will be short-lived. From the depths of the subconscious, something huge and dangerous appears, destroying the emotions and clarity of what is happening. Obstacles and problems will be completely overcome with the help of something huge and very dangerous, which has come from the depths of the subconscious. There are no more reasons for passion. It's already over. Everything will be finally resolved. ABSOLUTE COMPLETION comes after dangerous trials with maximum emotional stress for the corresponding situation and ends with complete clarity of what is happening at the level of events, while at the subconscious level, on the contrary, an inexplicable feeling of great danger comes. ABSOLUTE COMPLETION opens the way to the next, no less dangerous and beautiful facets of reality. This is a transition to a new, unknown level of the game called "life". This is an absolute achievement of the goal with the transition to the next stage of life with a completely different awareness of everything that happens.

ABSOLUTE COMPLETION completely closes the interest in the realized goals and is accompanied by a feeling of EMPTY.

“How sad: I found what I was looking for, but I no longer need it.” – David Mitchell

Look at hexagram 63. Below is a solid line, then a dashed one, then a solid line… This is an absolute order! This is absolute harmony! All solid and broken lines of the hexagram are in their places. Such an arrangement indicates absolute completeness, any movement will only destroy the established order. Already the end! This is the irrevocable and final completion of a whole life stage with its own aspirations, values and awareness.

Explanation of the hexagram

complete explanation of the 63rd hexagram → Zi Zi: Complete (Already the end)

Explanation of each trait

explanation of the features of the hexagram from bottom to top

In the course of creativity, which was characterized in the second part of the "Book of Changes", here the stage has already been reached when the individuality is created. In this sense, the process is completed, and the penultimate hexagram is called "already the end." It represents the completion of the process itself, and this is expressed in the very structure of the hexagram. The fact is that, according to the theory of the "Book of Changes", odd, strong positions can harmonically contain strong features, and even, weak positions - weak ones. In this hexagram, all the features are arranged in this way. The first, third and fifth positions are occupied by strong features; the second, fourth and sixth positions are weak. It would seem that this gives an image of such a harmonious development and its results, which do not imply the possibility of further development. Everything has already been achieved. A separate, individual has already been created. If it is understood as something small, then it still has to develop until the moment when it becomes great. In this sense, it is said about the possibility of development of the small. Persistence and stability, characterized by the location of the features of this hexagram, here favors the whole process. But it is precisely here that another law must be taken into account, which exists in the theory of the "Book of Changes" and which consists in the fact that everything tends to turn into its opposite. Each strong feature has in itself inherent tendencies to turn into a weak one, and vice versa. Therefore, as we will see below, the last hexagram is the complete opposite of this one. Thus, if the entire previous process, from the first impulse of creativity to the achievement of complete harmony, which is expressed in this hexagram, is the happiness that stands at the beginning and which is mentioned in this text, then it is this happiness that also leads to the need for a complete and cardinal change , leads to the chaos that stands at the end and is mentioned in this aphorism. In order to get through this situation, referred to in the Book of Changes as "the end already", a number of precautions must be taken in order to get through correctly. And if the previous hexagrams by positions considered the stages of this situation, then here a whole series of warnings unfolds, which are necessary for the correct experience of this entire situation. However, it is not necessary to understand the movement towards chaos indicated here as something negative, because, as we will see below, this chaos is something amorphous, will serve as the material within which a new cycle can unfold, starting with creativity, and so on. .d. Taking all this into account, one can understand the text that says: It's over. Accomplishment. Small favored stamina. In the beginning - happiness. At the end of the mess.

No matter how stable a given situation may be in itself, it must be passed through, must be overcome, because stopping in it would mean death. Therefore, an indication is given here that stopping would result in an insufficiently fast pace of passing through the given situation, and at the last minute this crossing through the given situation would be endangered. This hexagram is closely connected even with the name itself, and for its explanation it is necessary to use the context of the next hexagram, where the image of a young fox is given, which almost crossed the river, but at the last minute wetted its tail. To prevent this from happening, the "Book of Changes" reminds us here: In the beginning there is a strong trait. Slow down the wheels - wet your tail. There will be no bullshit.

In the process of creativity, a thing has already been created; it exists both for itself and for its environment. She can no longer hide. She is clearly visible to everyone. If a person in the second position, i.e. where he dwells in himself, the desire to be hidden has arisen, then this would be unattainable for him. This is clothed in the image of a woman who lost the curtain on her chariot. The stubborn pursuit of one's non-manifestation, the search for lost curtains cannot lead to any result here. When the time comes in the future (and it certainly can come), then everything will be restored, a person can be closed in himself. Here it is unattainable, and the future must be left to the future. In this sense, the text here says: The weak trait comes second. The woman will lose the curtains on the chariot. Don't chase. You will receive it in seven days.

In this situation, on the eve of chaos, going outside is perceived as an exit for a difficult and fierce struggle. Not with people to fight here, but with something worse. This refers to the campaign is not the land of demons. Victory over them must be maintained. But this victory is achievable only to those who have great strength, and not to an ordinary person. But even for such a person, full of both strength and life experience, for a high ancestor, as the "Book of Changes" calls him, this victory is not given in vain. It takes a long time to achieve it. It is all the more clear that an insignificant person cannot act in such conditions. That's why it says here in the Book of Changes: Strong trait in third place. The high ancestor goes on a campaign not to the country of demons. And in three years he will defeat her. Nothing - do not act.

The threshold of chaos and its approach is felt at every stage of this situation, despite the fact that it in itself represents the completion of everything previous. Therefore, it must be borne in mind here that no achievement remains forever in the hands of the one who has achieved it. In this sense, as a reminder, the text sounds: Weak trait in fourth place. And there will be rags on the brocade. Until the end of days, observe the prohibitions.

The way out of this situation is getting closer, closer to chaos. Therefore, here again a reminder is given of what can save a person in the environment into which he will inevitably find himself in the next situation. Not the splendor and luxury of the victims, but truthfulness, not external fullness, but internal strength - this is what can lead him to stability during the elemental chaos into which he will inevitably fall. To decipher the images in which this aphorism is given, one must take into account that the lower trigram - fire - is assigned to the east, and the upper trigram - water - to the west. What was achieved internally, what was achieved in the first three positions, no longer plays any role here. Therefore, if the eastern neighbors, i.e. three lower positions, and make a significant sacrifice, it makes no sense. And only what a person takes with him, rushing towards chaos, what is his inalienable, personal belonging to him, only this can lead to well-being. And this insignificant, that small sacrifice, which is spoken of in the text, is nothing but inner stability and truthfulness, the ability to proceed from oneself. That's why the text here says: Strong feature in fifth place. A cow killed at the eastern neighbors cannot be compared with a small victim of the western neighbors. If you are truthful, you will truly find your happiness.

In the general aphorism of this situation, it was said that at the beginning of the process there was happiness, at the end of it - chaos. The sixth position represents the transition to this chaos. The Book of Changes does not say that a certain misfortune threatens a person here. It only states the danger and horror of this situation. A wave of chaos overwhelms a person. If the first position spoke of the crossing and the possibility of ruining your path at the last minute, then this position speaks of how chaos will cover a person with his head. Nevertheless, this is necessary, because a person must get out of his harmonious development and, having deliberately violated this harmony, move into chaos, because in chaos he finds freedom for his creativity. So, in the text here we read only: Above is a weak feature. Get your head wet. Horror.

Accomplishment. Small - favorable stamina. In the beginning - happiness; at the end - a mess.

Slow down your wheels, wet your tail. - There will be no hula.
The woman will lose her curtain (on the chariot). Don't chase. (In) seven days you will find.
The high ancestor attacked the country of demons and defeated it at the age of three. Nothing - do not act.
You'll get wet. (For) a dress in tatters. Ban until the end of the day.
A bull killed in the eastern neighbors cannot be compared with a small victim of the western neighbors. (If you are) truthful, you will truly receive your well-being.
Get your head wet. - Terrible danger.

So, in the text here we read only: Above is a weak feature. Get your head wet. Horror.

The Chinese Book of Changes is, first of all, a deeply philosophical work, and not just a fortune-telling system. The texts for each of the 64 hexagrams have the deepest imagery, are permeated with the wisdom and philosophy of Ancient China. When using the I Ching, you should keep this in mind, not focusing on specific words, but understanding the entire interpretation as a whole, more broadly, connecting your own intuition.

There are certain rules of divination, the most important of which is this: during one day one question can be asked only once, the second time it can be asked only the next day. It is also important to calm down before divination and not be distracted by anything, perhaps meditate in order to come to the proper state of consciousness.

For divination with the help of the I Ching, three coins are used, it is best if they are Chinese, but this is not necessary. When two or three of them fall up “tails”, this indicates a profound influence on the situation of the “yin” energy, which in the Chinese tradition is considered inert, passive, in a sense “dark” and is indicated by a dotted line when writing a hexagram.

If two or three coins fall like an eagle, then this is a sign of the presence of the yang energy - active, bright, sunny, this energy is indicated by a solid line. The hexagram is built from two trigrams, starting from the bottom line, each line marks a step in the development of a situation or a given question.

Hexagram 63 has a rather frightening name Chi-Ji, which can be conditionally translated as "already the end." But do not forget that in Chinese philosophy the end does not have such a negative connotation as in the European tradition. Ji-Ji consists of two trigrams, which are conventionally called the trigram of Fire (lower) and the trigram of Water (upper), and in the canonical sense carries information that the work begun will be successfully resolved. The end is accomplishment, coming to harmony, however, at the same time, this hexagram contains a warning - you should not start new things, they will end in imbalance, disorder.

Interpretation of hexagram 63

The situation has already unfolded, and the fortuneteller is moving through the event stream, being in the very heart of the action. His plan is gradually beginning to be realized, the whole world is in proper harmony. The situation can be called very positive, and it provides the key to success, but you should go to it by achieving small goals in order, and not aiming at something bigger at once.

Any other undertaking will not be able to reach completion, bringing chaos to the situation. It is better to direct all efforts to what has already begun to happen. You should not relax in favorable conditions, you need to use this time to find possible dangers and develop a plan of confrontation.

This path is right and we must continue to follow it. The conceived desires will be fulfilled, the questions asked will be answered if the fortuneteller is careful and prudent and does not try to start something new.

As mentioned above, hexagrams give the key to interacting with intuition and inner voice. The interpretation of hexagrams by the method of associations allows you to dive deeper into the situation and notice in it such changes and nuances that were inaccessible to a superficial glance.

This hexagram shows the "stream" through which the fortuneteller seems to be crossing, he is already in the very middle of this turbulent current, and must move forward in small steps. You can not start a new big business at this moment, you need to focus on this crossing.

The situation will have a favorable outcome, but it is worth considering what hidden sides the case has, what dangers may lie in wait, in order to find a way to overcome them. The fortuneteller has a certain advantage that he will not lose if he focuses on his own goal.

It can be said that hexagram 63 Ji-Ji is completely and completely favorable, despite its frightening name for a European. It definitely carries the promise of a positive development of the situation.

Consideration of any issues through the prism of the Chinese Book of Changes I Ching, hexagrams and associative interpretation allow not only to see the situation, but to develop an action plan that will contribute to the successful course of affairs.

I must say that hexagram 63 prophesies success in only one “big” business, which means that you should not try to “chase two birds with one stone” at this particular moment, for example, trying to succeed both in your personal life and in business. It is worth doing things consistently and thoughtfully, the energy flow has developed properly so that the important becomes accomplished.

General interpretation according to Yu. Shutsky
.

In the course of creativity, which was characterized in the second part of the "Book of Changes", here the stage has already been reached when the individuality is created. In this sense, the process is completed, and the penultimate hexagram is called "already
the end".

It represents the completion of the process itself, and this is expressed in the very structure of the hexagram.
