College of the Ministry of Emergency Situations distance learning. Technical Fire and Rescue College

The work of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Russia is specific. Therefore, before you devote yourself to this profession, you need to think carefully. Because service workers, especially fire departments, face great difficulties and trials. Training of future employees is carried out in different institutions. Among them there is a fire and rescue college, there are academies.

Due to the uniqueness of the work of rescuers in Russia today there are seven educational institutions. Three of them provide secondary specialized education. In the two "higher" schools, the issue of expanding the educational process is being addressed in order to bring it to the secondary special.

Here is a list of fire schools in Russia:

Voronezh fire-technical school

This institution is equivalent to a college. Here is the most modern technical and educational base. School graduates do not remain without work. These are high-class specialists. Link to the site: http://vf.edufire37.ru/.

The cadets of the school study at full-time and part-time departments. The first accepts students from 17 to 25 years old, the second accepts employees and employees of fire departments aged no more than 35 years. Those who want to study full-time must contact the fire department of their city or district.

The learning process consists of seven cycles. All cadets are required to practice in active fire departments.

Moscow Technical Fire and Rescue College

It was opened in 1999. And today it is the only college that can be classified as "full-fledged". In 2005, the fire college was merged with vocational school No. 51. Now this educational institution is called Fire College No. 57.

This is one of the most equipped educational institutions in Russia. There is a car repair shop with six full-fledged posts for the repair of domestic and foreign equipment, an obstacle course, a fire tower, and a heat and smoke chamber.

The college consists of four buildings, each of which has a sports and assembly hall, a library and a dining room.

Moscow Cadet Corps under the Ministry of Emergency Situations

This is a boarding school. You can’t compare it with college, because teenagers who have not reached the age of majority are studying in it. That is, here they give secondary education with a bias towards fire fighting. By clicking on the link, you can get acquainted with the historical information of the corps, the strategic goals and mission of the educational institution, the material and technical base, the organization of the educational process: https://amchs.ru/about_the_university/struktura/kadetskiy-korpus/.

It should be noted that the goals of opening the cadet corps were for several reasons:

  • performing the functions of a training center;
  • to intensify work with teenagers in terms of patriotic education, sports and recreation;
  • give secondary education;
  • to become a springboard for continuing studies in specialized secondary and higher educational institutions.

The Cadet Fire and Rescue Corps is located on the territory of the Academy of Civil Protection, and cadets can use all available sites, premises and classrooms.

Higher education institutions

The rest of the educational institutions are classified as "higher". But in some of them, subdivisions are being organized today, in which students will also receive secondary specialized education.

  1. Academy of civil protection. This institution cannot be called an institute, because it trains and retrains the current employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In fact, it is an educational and methodological center. Link to the site: https://amchs.ru/.
  2. Academy of the State Fire Service. This is the main educational institution of the country of this profile, located in Moscow. It provides not only higher education, but also secondary special education. So part of the academy can be attributed to the colleges. Link to the site: https://academygps.ru/.
  3. Institute of the State Fire Service, located in St. Petersburg. This is where the highly educated engineers come from. Link to the official website: https://www.igps.ru/.
  4. Academy of the State Fire Service, located in Ivanovo. One of its divisions is the cadet corps. Today, the issue of expanding the number of students trained by obtaining secondary specialized education is being addressed. That is, the Academy will additionally have a college. Link to the site: http://www.edufire37.ru.

The choice of fire college is small. The competition in these educational institutions is always big. The thing is that the work of a firefighter is not only dangerous, but also prestigious. The salary of employees of the State Fire Protection is worthy. The state always provides workers with housing. But the requirements for firefighters are high. Not everyone can become one. Because when entering colleges, not only high physical fitness is required, but also knowledge of secondary education. Cadets take several entrance exams, based on which they are accepted or not.

Before the entrance exams, college candidates go through a medical board that admits or not before testing. The choice of applicants is not wide. You can apply for the specialization "fireman" or "technician". To obtain a specialization in the elimination of emergency or emergency situations, it is necessary after college to enter a higher educational institution of a specialized type.

The fire school (each indicated above) prepares for the entrance exams, that is, in each college there are so-called preparatory courses. In them, students begin to study from December.

It should be noted that until 1990 there was no separate ministry in Russia that would deal with emergency situations. Accordingly, there were no educational institutions that would teach rescue business. Studying the experience of foreign countries, the government decided to create a scientific and technical base that would train highly specialized employees for firefighters and rescuers.

Work in the Ministry of Emergency Situations attracts many. Firstly, being a rescuer is very prestigious, and secondly, full state support guarantees a stable future. But how to enter the Ministry of Emergency Situations? Where should you apply? What is needed for this? And how difficult is it to master this profession?

Work in the Ministry of Emergency Situations

The rescuer of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is a hero who always comes first to the rescue. However, only a few are born with such power - the rest are nurtured by experienced mentors. Therefore, answering the first question, let's say that it is simply impossible to get into the Ministry of Emergency Situations without the necessary preparation.

But where to find a person who can teach the necessary skills? Well, everything is quite simple here - you need to get a specialized education. The Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations or any other similar educational institution is capable of giving it. Fortunately, in our country there are seven large institutions involved in the training of fighters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. At the same time, they will gladly accept both men and women into their ranks. The main thing is that the applicants should be ready for severe trials and successfully pass the entrance exams.

The best educational institutions of the country

If you are thinking about how to enter the Ministry of Emergency Situations, then you need to know where rescuers are trained. Therefore, let's give a small list of educational institutions that are able to give a person the skills of a precessional Ministry of Emergency Situations nickname.

So, it is here that the best rescuers of our country are trained:

  1. Academy of Civil Protection EMERCOM of Russia. At the moment it is one of the most prestigious educational institutions. It is within its walls that students receive the most recent and relevant knowledge aimed at protecting people.
  2. Academy of State Fire Service EMERCOM of Russia. Despite the fact that this institution is one step lower than its predecessor, its graduates can still safely count on the frontline lifeguard positions.
  3. State Institute of Fire Service in Ivanovo. A good choice for those who doubt that there will be a tough selection for the academy. It is here that you can get both higher and secondary technical education.
  4. Institute of State Fire Service in St. Petersburg. Not everyone can afford to get an education in the capital of Russia. Therefore, there is an excellent alternative for them, which is in no way inferior to Moscow universities.
  5. Fire-technical Voronezh School of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Perhaps this is one of the best educational institutions that provide secondary technical education.
  6. Moscow Fire College. The youngest and still the only full-fledged college of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Russia.

Specializations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations

At the moment, the work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations implies many narrowly focused specializations. In addition to rescuers and firefighters, the service needs professional doctors, engineers, miners, psychologists and lawyers.

Therefore, everyone who wants to join the ranks of the fighters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations must decide what role he wants to play in the future. And only after that choose the narrow specialization in which he will study at the university of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

How to enter the Ministry of Emergency Situations (university) and what exams should be taken upon admission?

As in any other educational institution, when entering the university of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, it is necessary to pass exams. Compulsory subjects are Russian, mathematics and physics. In addition, the list of entrance exams may vary depending on the characteristics of the educational institution, as well as the specialization chosen by the student.

For example, a fire safety engineer will have to complete written assignments in Russian, mathematics and physics. But MES-nicknames with a legal bias need to write an essay, as well as show their knowledge of social science and the history of Russia.

In addition, the rescuer of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is a person with excellent physical fitness. Therefore, in addition to the generally accepted exams, applicants will also have to pass strength standards. Moreover, this rule applies to both men and women, regardless of the specific direction chosen.

How to get a job in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, bypassing specialized education?

Few people know that a university or academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is not the only way to get into the service of this department. And to be more precise, it is quite possible to bypass specialized education by obtaining a law degree or medical degree.

So, quite often, graduates of law schools are taken to the position of civil service officer. That is, you will have to become an expert in dealing with complaints from victims or employees of the Department of Administrative Work. You can also try your luck and try to get a position as a chief specialist in the legal department. However, there is one big minus - there are no guarantees that you will be able to get a job at the Ministry of Emergency Situations, even after successfully graduating from a law school. Indeed, today many fire-technical educational institutions have their own department of jurisprudence.

The work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is inextricably linked with human casualties. Therefore, in the ranks of rescuers there are always those who have a medical education. Consequently, those who graduated from a medical institute or college can safely apply for a position in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The main disadvantage is the duration of training, and therefore this option is suitable only for those who have already finally decided to link their fate with doctoral practice.

Preliminary check of all rescuers

All employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are strong people in body and spirit. Otherwise, they will not be able to properly perform their duties. Therefore, before accepting a new candidate for the ranks of the fighters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, he is carefully checked according to two indicators.

  • Physical state. Initially, everyone who wants to become a rescuer goes through a tough medical commission. It will show whether a person can withstand the physical stress that awaits him ahead. In addition, if a person has serious health problems, then he will be denied an attempt to become an MES nickname.
  • Psychological resilience. Good health alone is not enough to enter the Ministry of Emergency Situations. A future fighter must endure emotional pressure and stress so as not to let his team down in the future. They check the psychological stability of candidates with the help of an interview and a number of special tests.

Therefore, before applying to the personnel department, check your physical and emotional state. Thus, you will have time to work on yourself and correct current problems, if possible.

Special requirements for employment in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia

What else do you need to know about how to enter the Ministry of Emergency Situations? First of all, it is necessary to remember the criteria that guide the personnel departments. And although there are few of them, they are all strictly regulated by Russian law. Therefore, all candidates for the position of lifeguard are required to:

  1. Be of legal age, but their age should not exceed 40 years. (An exception is those who wish to enter a technical school or university. In this case, the threshold is reduced to 17 years).
  2. Have excellent physical and mental fitness.
  3. Be citizens of the Russian Federation.

Work in the Ministry of Emergency Situations for girls and women

For obvious reasons, girls are not taken to the emergency response team. Nevertheless, the role of the beautiful half of humanity can hardly be overestimated, because it is they who often coordinate all rescue operations. In this regard, let's look at other positions that are more likely to be filled by women.

  • The dispatcher of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is the eyes and ears of the entire rescue team. It is he who first responds to a distress call and makes those key decisions, thanks to which a team of EMERCOM fighters leaves for the place.
  • The psychologist is another important representative of the rescuers. This specialist always accompanies his team and, if necessary, helps the victims to recover from the resulting emotional shock.
  • Also, women, without a shadow of a doubt, are taken as field doctors, since in this case, the skills that are available are more important than the physical component.

In addition to all of the above, girls can count on the position of a civil service officer, laboratory assistant, forensic scientist or photographer.

An educational institution with the former name Fire College No. 57 was created by merging 2 educational institutions - the State Educational Institution of the Fire College and the State Educational Institution of Vocational School No. 51 on the basis of the Decree of the Government of Moscow dated October 19, 2004 No. 724-PP and the order of the Department of Education of the City of Moscow dated December 1, 2004 No. 816 “On the reorganization of the State Educational Institution Fire College, the State Educational Institution Vocational School No. 51.

How to proceed: step by step instructions

We offer a step-by-step algorithm of actions.

Step 1. Decide on a university and take the exam

You need to choose a direction and find a suitable university. Pay attention to whether there are budget places in the chosen specialty, find out which exams you need to take and what are the minimum scores when to apply.

Step 2: Pre-qualify

To do this, you need to submit an application to the Ministry of Emergency Situations at the place of your registration no later than April 20. Upon admission to the command and engineering faculty of the Academy of Civil Protection, an application must be submitted to the military registration and enlistment office at the place of registration before April 1.

The application must be accompanied by:

  • copies of passport and birth certificate;
  • an autobiography indicating information about yourself, your family (do not forget to indicate personal achievements);
  • a reference from the school with a recommendation note;
  • a copy of the document on education or a certificate from the school.

After reviewing the documents, you will be sent to undergo a medical examination and a psychological examination. If you pass all the parameters, your documents are sent to the university. Further, the admission committee of the educational institution considers your personal file and decides whether to allow you to the professional selection or not. You must receive a written response - an invitation or an explanation of the reasons for the refusal.

Step 3. Pass the professional selection

Professional selection takes place at the university from July 1 to July 30, the exact dates will be announced to you. Upon arrival at the educational institution, provide a passport, birth certificate, high school diploma and documents confirming your special rights and individual achievements.

You will need to pass psychological testing, pass an internal exam and physical standards. After that, wait for the results and find out your place in the competitive lists.

Please note that for civilian specialties and paid departments, recruitment takes place according to the standard scheme, as in ordinary universities.

Before choosing the profession of a rescuer, think carefully - are you ready to risk your life for the sake of others? If in doubt, stop at the civilian specialty.
