What do you need to be prepared for?

The procedure for conducting the exam is fundamentally different from the procedure for conducting a traditional exam in the form of tickets, essays or presentations:

• For each subject, a single day and time for delivery throughout the country is established, in each city a single place is determined where tests will be held;
• The time frame for writing the exam is limited;
• An independent commission is present at the exam, which consists of teachers, and for example, a mathematics teacher cannot be present at the exam in mathematics, since the purpose of the commission is exclusively administrative - to keep order and answer organizational questions;
• USE tasks are developed by FIPI and sent to the regions in special envelopes, which are opened only at the exam and only by the examinees;
• They consist of 3 parts A, B and C. Part BUT the easiest and is a test task, in part AT the question asked should be answered briefly, in part FROM you need to write a detailed answer, for example, a solution to a math problem. All tasks are the same. For example, the first questions of part A in the Russian language are given on the topic of unstressed vowels;
• Answers to all tasks are recorded in special forms that have the form prescribed by law, so they cannot be thrown out or replaced.

Who evaluates the student's knowledge?

A huge plus of the USE is that the student's knowledge will be assessed most objectively: by a computer and independent experts. A student should not be afraid of an exam just because of an evil math teacher who, from the fifth grade, underestimates grades and is biased. Parts A and B are sent to the regional information processing center, and the last part is sent to two independent experts who evaluate the answer separately from each other and separately assign points for the work.

The verification protocol with the assigned scores is again processed at the RCOI. If the scores match - this is the result, if they differ slightly - the arithmetic mean is calculated, if they differ, then the task is given for verification to the third expert to eliminate disagreements.

The results are announced within 7-10 days, and in some regions 12 days.

When can I retake the exam?

If a student did not score points in the main subjects above the threshold, this is not at all proof that for 11 years he spat at the ceiling and did not make efforts to study. Everyone knows what tough conditions are set for this exam: clear time limits, a commission in which other people's "uncles" and "aunts" sit, video cameras and tasks from which you don't know what to expect. In such conditions, even yesterday's good student can get worried and fail the exam.

In addition, the exam may not be passed due to illness, family circumstances, if the subject began to take the exam, but there was a force majeure. For those who did not pass or did not pass the exam, retake is provided. This right can be obtained if, no later than the established date, one applies to the education authorities, and then additional time will be assigned for those who have not passed.

But it should be borne in mind that a retake is provided only in Russian and mathematics, if an exam in another subject is failed, a certificate will be issued and the only option to retake an additional subject will be only after a year.
