3. Before closing the program, check if you have enabled this procedure as automatic through the "System Settings" tab.

If you are using earlier OS versions, then the above process will consist of the following
stages:

2. In the list that opens, find the components you need (if available, they will be listed).
3. You will be prompted to enter an administrator password before the installation process begins.
4. Once completed, reboot your device to complete the download and your MacBook is finally updated.

You can also download the latest version of the browser on your MacBook through the official website. To do this, you need to find the "Programs for Mac OS" section and in "Apple Downloads" view the list of already installed downloads or select those available for download in the same section.

For Windows users

Windows users also have the option to upgrade, but there hasn't been an update since 2012, so don't expect fresh installs.

However, to update you need to do the following:

1. Run the Apple Software Update program. You can find it through the "Search" (go to the "Start" menu and enter the appropriate name of the program in the search bar) or open it from the folder where it is, if you know the path to find it.
2. Once launched, available updates should be checked automatically.
3. In the list that opens, find Safari and check the box.

Click on the download icon for the selected number of items and follow the instructions.
