Official changes in exams

Information on changes in the KIM USE 2019. In KIM, in all academic subjects, additional reminder instructions have been introduced for USE participants to check the records of answers on forms No. 1 and No. 2 under the corresponding task numbers. All changes are not fundamental. For most subjects, the wording of assignments is being clarified and the system for assessing assignments is being improved to increase the differentiating ability of the examination work.

  • Mathematics Geography Physics Chemistry Informatics and ICT - no changes
  • Russian language - The number of tasks in the examination paper has been increased from 26 to 27 due to the introduction of a new task (21), which tests the ability to conduct punctuation analysis of the text. The format of tasks 2, 9–12 has been changed. The range of tested spelling and punctuation skills has been expanded. The level of difficulty of individual tasks has been clarified. The wording of task 27 with a detailed answer has been clarified. The criteria for assessing task 27 have been clarified.
  • Biology - The task model in line 2 has been changed (instead of a two-point multiple-choice task, a one-point task for working with a table has been proposed). The maximum primary score for completing the entire job has been reduced from 59 to 58.
  • Foreign languages - There are no changes in the structure and content of KIM. The criteria for evaluating the performance of task 40 of the “Writing” section in the written part of the exam, as well as the wording of task 40, in which the exam participant is offered a choice of two topics of a detailed written statement with elements of reasoning “My opinion”, have been clarified.
  • Literature - The criteria for assessing the performance of tasks with a detailed answer have been clarified: corrections have been made to the assessment of tasks 8 and 15 (the wording of criterion 1 with a description of the requirements for an answer for 2 points, the rules for calculating actual errors in criterion 2), tasks 9 and 16 (in criteria 1 and 2, possible variants of flaws in the answer are taken into account), tasks 17.1–17.4 (a count of logical errors was added to criterion 4).
  • Social Studies - The wording of task 25 has been detailed and the scoring system has been revised. The maximum score for completing task 25 has been increased from 3 to 4. The wording of tasks 28, 29 has been detailed, and their scoring systems have been improved. The maximum primary score for completing the entire job has been increased from 64 to 65.
  • History - There are no changes in the structure and content of KIM. In task 21, an additional condition was added that determines the requirement for formatting the answer. Accordingly, the criteria for assessing task 21 have been supplemented.

The reference book includes the material of the school course "Social Studies", which is checked at the unified state exam (USE). The structure of the book corresponds to the Federal State Standard of Secondary (Complete) Education in the subject, on the basis of which the examination tasks were developed - control measuring materials (CMM) that make up the examination work in social science.
The guide contains the following content blocks-modules: "Man and Society", "Economics", "Social Relations", "Politics", "Law", which form the core of the content of school social science education and correspond to the codifier of content elements in social science, tested within the framework of USE.

I managed to finish school even before the USE was introduced. Of course, there are much more opponents of such an exam system than supporters, but this is already our reality, which is much easier to put up with than to resist.

The exam in English is a difficult exam. In 2017, it is unlikely that you will be able to enter a good university with a basic level of passing an exam in English. To get a high score, you need to start preparing for the exam as early as possible.

As we know, the written part consists of 40 tasks for which students are given 3 hours, and includes:

  • test audition;
  • test reading;
  • lexical and grammatical tasks, also in the form of a test;
  • letter in two stages.

It is worth saying that for the first part of the English exam, they give a maximum of 80 points, if the student needs to increase the score, then he must come on the second day to pass the oral part.

If the written part can be trained by studying independently using various manuals, then for the oral part you need a teacher.

This post will be devoted to the most successful teaching aids for preparing for the exam in English on your own.

1. Macmillan Exam Skills for Russia

This is the only book to date for preparing for the exam, which consists of 15 complete tests in the new format of the exam, including the oral part. When working on the tests, all changes in the exam format were taken into account. Tests created in collaboration with M.V. Verbitskaya, chairman of the subject commission on foreign languages of the Unified State Examination. The Macmillan.ru website provides additional USE materials for students and teachers: online tests, audio files, video tips, etc.

2. A.I. Nemykina, A.V. Pochepaev - USE. oral part

The manual is a collection of tests for testing oral speech skills, as well as a simulator for practicing the skills of passing the oral part of the exam in English on a computer. It is from this textbook that you should start preparing for the oral part, if you study on your own. At the beginning, a complete analysis of the tasks of the oral part is given, and then 20 tests with explanatory materials.

3. Afanasyeva O., Evans V., Kopylova V. — Practice Exam Papers for the Russian National Exam

This study guide with an audio application contains 20 English language tests in the USE format.
Distinctive features of the textbook are variable tasks corresponding to an increased and high level of preparation for the exam, as well as texts of various genres for listening and reading. It should also be noted that there are wonderful examples of performing tasks in all types of speech activity.

Download the 2010 handbook from this link.

Tutorials from 2007 along with audio are available.

4. Muzlanova E.S. - English language. USE textbook

The manual is compiled according to the thematic principle and consists of 16 thematic blocks that cover the entire range of topics provided for by the USE codifier in English. The blocks consist of 5 sections: reading, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary, writing. Each section includes exam-type tasks, as well as useful tips on how to complete them, which will allow students to successfully prepare for the exam. After completing all the tasks, students will be able to check the answers with the keys.

5. Verbitskaya M.V. - USE. English language. Standard exam options. 10 (30) options

This textbook is included in the series known to all graduates “USE. FIPI - School", which was prepared by the developers of the control measuring materials for the unified state exam. Available in 2 types: 10 test options and 30 options. The difference, as you understand, is only in the number of tests. The collection of 30 tests contains 15 thematic options for all sections of the Unified State Examination, 15 standard examination options, tasks for the oral part, instructions for performing, answers to all tasks, etc.

You can download the 2015 sample textbook with 30 options.

6. Yuneva S.A. — Opening the world with English. 150 essays for the exam. Getting ready for the exam

The manual is addressed to students who are independently preparing for the exam in English, as well as teachers who can use it in class and in preparing students for tests, exams or olympiads. It includes 150 essays, compiled in accordance with all the requirements for a written statement with elements of reasoning. The main purpose of this manual is to help students excel in essay writing.

The five best guides for preparing for the Unified State Examination (GIA) in mathematics

The unified state exam in our region has been held since 2005. Since then, I have tried many books in preparing students for the exam. To date, I can name my top five, in my opinion, benefits.

Semenov A. V. Unified State Exam. Maths. A set of materials for the preparation of students. Tutorial. 2017

Consists of two parts. In the first part, the tasks are divided into topics, the second part contains 24 training options (12 profile level options, 12 basic level options). The content of the manual is formed using an updated open bank of tasks, meets the modern requirements of the Unified State Examination. The manual was developed with the scientific and methodological support of FIPI.

The structure and content of this manual make it possible to use it both in self-preparation and in the organization of repetition in the classroom. Assignments are mostly given in pairs, which allows one of them to be dismantled collectively, and the other to be solved independently.

The manual offers tasks of different levels. The basic tasks are more widely presented. In the section "Problems of increased complexity", the authors, without pretending to be complete, give an idea of the tasks of an increased and high level. At the end of the collection there are answers to all tasks and options, there are no comments. Tasks with a detailed answer for one of the options are analyzed. Tests are compiled in accordance with the specification and demo version of the current year. The manual contains reference material included in the CMM basic level.

According to the authors, the manual can be used from the 6th grade. From experience, I advise you to start work from the 10th grade. The content of the manual will allow you to repeat the topics of the main school and prepare for the exam at a basic level. Then in the 11th grade you can focus on preparing for specialized mathematics. Working with this book will allow you to work out 13-15 tasks, which corresponds to 70-80 points. The book is relatively inexpensive, the work on it is productive. Unfortunately, there are a lot of typos in the text of tasks and answers.

Konnova E.G. Mathematics level. Basic USE-2014. A guide for dummies. 2011

This book is included in the educational and methodological complex “Mathematics. Preparation for the Unified State Examination, edited by F.F. Lysenko. Among the tasks with a short answer, there are tasks in which schoolchildren make mistakes every year. The grant allows to strengthen work in these areas. The book is intended for the formation of stable skills in solving tasks of a basic level. Five most problematic topics are identified: "Computations and transformations", "Derivative and study of functions", "Applied problems", "Largest and smallest values of functions" and "Construction and study of mathematical models". In each topic, standard tasks from an open bank are easily disassembled, tasks for independent solution are proposed. The book also contains 12 training options.

At the beginning of each topic, theoretical material is systematized. The content corresponds to the USE codifier. At the end of the book, answers to all tasks and options. There are no comments. Tests are formed on the stated five topics. The level of tasks in the tests corresponds to the tasks analyzed in the topics.

With this manual, you can start working as early as 10th grade. More prepared students can independently analyze ready-made solutions and complete tasks for self-examination. For students with an insufficient level of preparation, ready-made solutions should be analyzed in the classroom or with a tutor, and the following tasks should be offered for homework.

The price of the benefit corresponds to its benefit. Often, students who claim high scores make 1-2 mistakes in basic level tasks. Working with this manual allows you to reduce the number of errors by improving the skills of solving typical problems.

Panferov V.S., Sergeev I.N. Excellent student of the exam. Maths. Solving complex problems. 2012

A greater number of points on the USE of the profile level is provided by tasks with a detailed answer. This manual provides preparation for such tasks. The presentation of the material is available to students with a high level of preparation.

Soft cover, white paper, black and white illustrations.

The manual contains analyzed solutions to tasks, comments and evaluation criteria, tasks for independent solution, preparatory tasks and a list of references for self-preparation for the exam. The preparatory tasks are simpler in comparison with the training ones, which allows organizing the work in elective classes according to the increasing level of complexity.

It is better to work with this manual in the 11th grade. The book is small but very useful. Increases the chances of getting the highest scores.

Kolesnikova S. I. Mathematics. Intensive course of preparation for the unified state exam. 2008

Soft cover, gray paper, black and white illustrations.

The manual contains effective methods for solving complex equations and inequalities. The book is available to students with a good level of preparation, applying for high results. And although it was published a long time ago, its usefulness has not diminished. The approaches considered in the manual are mostly absent in school textbooks. The book contains two sections. The section "Efficient methods for solving the main types of problems in algebra and analysis" considers the concept of equivalence, the rationalization method, and other methods for solving non-standard equations and inequalities. In the second section - 20 options, the solution of many tasks, two complete options.

For each type of equations, the theoretical material is systematized, the rules are illustrated with ready-made solutions with the author's comments. It should be noted the deep elaboration of topics.

Training options do not correspond to the modern structure of the profile exam in mathematics, but this does not detract from their dignity in any way. Tasks with a detailed solution imply the ability of schoolchildren to transfer knowledge to a new non-standard situation. The book of Kolesnikova S.I. gives such an opportunity. I recommend to work as a tutor with students with a high level of preparation.

Wolfson B. I. Geometry. Preparation for the exam and GIA-9. We learn to solve problems and repeat the theory. 2013

It is no secret that students experience the greatest difficulty in solving geometric problems. This manual in an accessible form offers a technology for teaching problem solving.

Soft cover, gray paper, black and white illustrations.

The second, significantly revised edition of the book corresponds to the changed structure and content of the USE in mathematics. Each technological step is illustrated with solutions to problems from the open bank of FIPI tasks. The analysis of the geometric tasks of the OGE and the Unified State Examination was carried out. There is reference material, tasks for independent work. Answers without comments are given at the end of the book.

The book is useful not only for students, but also for teachers. The proposed technology for working with geometric problems can be implemented in lessons starting from the 8th grade. It allows you to remove the fear of problems from geometry, to form the skills of data analysis and drawing up a plan for solving the problem.

Wolfson B. I. discovered the book only this academic year, but I suppose that in-depth work on its content will allow schoolchildren to increase their scores by solving problems No. 14 and No. 16 with a detailed solution.
