Help for applicants: how to get a targeted referral to study at a university. How to get a targeted direction to a university? How to take a destination destination in an airline

As part of the special educational program of the Federal Air Transport Agency, 33 candidates entered the leading aviation universities according to the target recruitment of the Rossiya airline.

Throughout the year, Rossiya receives requests for similar target destinations from different regions of Russia. This year, the airline has been allocated twenty-three places for training in flight specialties. To get the coveted right to sign a target agreement with the airline, future aviators need to take part in the competition.

According to the rules of the competition, the commission for the target recruitment considered the documents of 110 candidates who sent documents to the company. To successfully pass the selection, the guys need to confirm excellent health with a certificate from VLEK, have a high average score for the first half of the year, an excellent mark in English, confirm a high level of English proficiency from specialists in the language training of flight personnel, and also receive a recommendation for training as a pilot from aviation psychologist. Among other things, the personal achievements of children in the field of science and sports are also taken into account.

Within the framework of target quotas, students are traditionally sent to study at three leading universities that train specialists in the field of civil aviation: St. Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation, Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation named after Chief Marshal of Aviation B.P. Bugaev and Moscow State University of Civil Aviation.

Thus, 23 candidates were selected who fully meet the requirements of the airline. In addition to flying, this year the airline received ten ground places in the specialty "Organization of air navigation support for aircraft flights" and "Organization of transportation and management in air transport." Candidates were selected based on grades for the first half of the year, in English, and achievements in science and sports.

With all the selected candidates, agreements on targeted training were concluded, the validity of which extends until the conclusion of an employment contract with Rossiya Airlines JSC.

These guys are the future of "Russia" and they will proudly join the ranks of our friendly team.

Rossiya Airlines is part of the Aeroflot Group. The total route network of the airline includes more than 130 destinations. In 2017, Rossiya carried more than 11 million passengers, securing its place in the top three in terms of this indicator in the civil aviation of the Russian Federation. The airline is the favorite carrier of St. Petersburg residents and the largest carrier of the Pulkovo airport. Since 2016, it has been implementing a fleet and aircraft cabin renewal program. Boeing 747, Boeing 777, Boeing 737NG, Airbus A320 and Airbus A319 aircraft are operated on domestic and international routes, and all aircraft are named after Russian cities. Special projects aimed at supporting the unique nature of the Far East are the Tigrolet and Leolet aircraft liveries. A special project aimed at supporting domestic sports was the aircraft, which received the popular name "Sportolet". Since 2014, the airline has been the official carrier of the Zenit football club.

The fastest, most convenient and safest means of transport is undoubtedly an airplane. Moreover, sometimes it is by air transport that passengers can get to the most remote place on our planet, spending a long flight in a comfortable cabin.

However, if we take into account the statistics, there is a serious shortage of specialists in the field of civil aviation. Indeed, in the Russian Federation, only a few educational institutions are engaged in the training of professional pilots.

The fact that there is a shortage of personnel in the field of civil aviation was mentioned in the Ministry of Transport more than 10 years ago. It was to solve such an urgent problem that the Aeroflot flight school was opened 6 years ago. The main principle of the new project, according to V. Savelyev, who holds the position of General Director of a world-famous aviation company, is the training of professional aviation specialists, who are in dire need of domestic civil aviation.

As for the practical implementation of the launched project, it should bring both national benefits and contribute to the development and prosperity of the airline. After all, having entered the Aeroflot aviation training center, cadets must sign an employment contract, which states that after completing the preparatory course, specialists are obliged to find a job in the company that trains them. Such a contract is guaranteed to return the money spent on the training of professional personnel.

Training for a pilot in monetary terms is approximately 28 thousand dollars, and the return of the funds spent, according to the signed contract, will be gradually carried out by potential specialists over 5 years. Since the average monthly salary is about $5.5 thousand, you will need to transfer about $470 every month for the payment.

Today, the educational institution enjoys incredible popularity, because many people understand that the prestige of aviation specialties is increasing almost every day.

Girls can fly planes too!

Persons who have graduated from civil aviation institutions, military pilots, as well as those who have a diploma of both higher aviation education and technical education can take a course at the Aeroflot flight institution.

Immediately after the opening of the school, the preparatory program was divided into 2 stages:

  1. The initial training lasted for 1.5 years, in the higher educational aviation school, located in Ulyanovsk, in the profession "Flight operation of aircraft", completely free of charge.
  2. The next stage lasted for six months at a school owned by Aeroflot, exclusively under a contract.

A targeted loan that helps cadets pay for the training, as we have already noted, was provided to cadets by an airline company under a contract obliging graduates to work for an airline in order to fully repay the loan.

However, the program under consideration was only active for a short time, since the state and the enterprise could not find a compress regarding the issue of state budget financing of the first stage. And this is despite the fact that the monthly average salary of a pilot working in a well-known airline exceeds 240 thousand rubles. That is, to repay the loan, the specialist needs to allocate approximately 6-7% of the total salary.

After 2 years, the training center had to change the previously established training scheme, that is, completely switch to a contract, which also consisted of two main stages:

  1. Initial training was carried out in an accredited flight center operating in the United States of America, or rather, in the state of Florida. The preparation lasted for 5 months, the cost was about 56 thousand dollars, and this amount did not include the price of air tickets, visas and food.

After completing the training, the graduates of the first stage had to pass exams, both in theory and in practical skills.

If the examination tests are successfully passed, an American-style pilot's license is issued.

  1. The second stage, lasting 7 months, took place at the flight school. The cost of training was approximately 32 thousand US dollars. The cadets received piloting skills in the air transport model A 320.

Basic requirements for applicants

By visiting the official website of the Aeroflot aviation school, potential cadets will be able to find out exactly what requirements are put forward for applicants. It is worth noting that there are not so many of them, but everyone needs to get acquainted with them without exception:

  1. The age of potential cadets should not exceed 35 years.
  2. The institution accepts both representatives of the stronger sex and girls.
  3. Those persons who have a diploma of graduation from a higher institution, as well as a technical or flight school, will be able to study at the school.
  4. Students who complete their last year at higher aviation institutions can also study at the training center, who can immediately after graduation, enrolling in school, get a job as a co-pilot in an airline company.
  5. In the training center, everyone will be able to master the profession of a flight attendant, learning the profession for 2 months.

Regardless of what kind of aviation profession the future cadet wants to master, he needs to pass an interview and a special medical commission. If the initial stages are excellent, then you should not forget that the student will have to pay for the first part of the training program on their own, and the target loan provided by the airline will help pay for the second.

Passing training as a flight attendant, you need to pay about 46 thousand rubles, a partial increase is possible if the cadet signs an employment contract with Aeroflot. The basic requirements for those wishing to master the profession in question remain unchanged, however, one requirement is certainly added to the above - excellent knowledge of the English language.

Today, aviation professions are considered by young people not only as the most prestigious, but also as especially highly paid. Yes, and many are very attracted to the shape of the pilots, which gives masculinity and individuality to each image. But in order to fulfill your cherished dream and definitely become a student of a flight school, you definitely need to know about the conditions for admission and about the requirements of the institution, which we will try to figure out:

  1. Flight schools are divided into two categories - military and civilian. The first trains specialists for work in the civilian field of activity, that is, pilots serving both civil and commercial flights. The latter produce specialists who can later serve in the Russian air forces. The period of training of specialists in the institutions under consideration can last both 3 years and 5 years, depending on the status of the institution. That is, the duration depends on whether cadets will master the chosen profession at an average technical or higher institution.
  2. Almost every institution trains both professional pilots and technical personnel, as well as future specialists who will be able to work in ground aviation units. Given the choice of a particular specialty, the requirements for future students also change.
  3. Persons who have a diploma of completion of secondary full education in their hands can become a cadet, if their age does not exceed 35 years, and a special honey. the commission will confirm their full suitability. To join the ranks of cadets, you will need to pass entrance examinations in the following disciplines:
  • Russian language;
  • mathematics;
  • English language.

For some faculties, applicants will have to pass additional tests.

  1. Before passing a mandatory interview, in order to obtain admission to the exams, it is necessary to collect a list of documentation for submission to the selection committee:
  • a supporting document on education - both complete secondary and professional higher;
  • a certificate from a medical institution, drawn up in accordance with the form No. 086 / y. The certificate must display all vaccinations that were previously made, and there must be confirmation that the graduate constantly attended physical education classes;
  • the applicant must independently describe an autobiography in a free form;
  • 3x4 photographs must be submitted in the amount of 6 pieces.

To the documentation you need to add a certificate issued in a dispensary, both narcological and neuropsychiatric.

  1. For those wishing to master the profession of a pilot-pilot, in addition to the above medical certificates, you need to obtain a conclusion, of course, positive, issued by members of (VLEK), a special medical commission operating at the flight training center. Also, pilot training requires a potential cadet to undergo an additional selection, in which the specialist will evaluate both the professional and psychological characteristics of the applicant.

Whatever faculty an applicant enters, he must have excellent eyesight, so the passage of an ophthalmologist is mandatory for cadets.

It is equally important to independently understand that the profession of a pilot will actually be correlated with both opportunities and desire. That is, even someone who successfully graduates from high school or a higher educational institution, but does not have sufficient physical strength and certain psychological qualities, is unlikely to be able to work in the chosen profession in the future. After all, being a pilot means the following:

  • subject your own body to excessive physical and psychological stress on a daily basis:
  • be able to make serious decisions at any time, on which the life of both the crew and passengers depends;
  • in no case do not give in to panic and find a way out of very extreme situations.

It is not so difficult to check physical endurance, for this you can visit the flying club operating at the place of residence and make the first flight with an instructor - the so-called familiarization. If the candidate fully believes in his physical and psychological strength, then the Aeroflot flight school will kindly open the doors for him and help him master a prestigious and highly paid specialty.

In contact with

Aeroflot has developed a new scheme for replenishing its flight crew. The company invites graduates of technical universities to undergo accelerated flight training. The course costs $90-100 thousand, which Aeroflot offers students to look for. If the applicant finds $55,000 on his own, the airline will be able to provide the remaining funds to him in installments, subject to the conclusion of a 5-year labor contract. Having started working after training as a co-pilot, a recruit will be able to earn from 250 thousand rubles a month, the company promises. In theory, such income will allow you to pay off the loans taken for education.

Last Monday, Aeroflot flight director Igor Chalik held a meeting with 4th and 5th year students of the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation (MGTU GA), inviting them to the position of Airbus A320 co-pilots, which form the basis of the carrier's fleet.

Representatives of Aeroflot, according to Izvestia, made similar proposals to students of the Moscow Aviation Institute, Moscow State Technical University. Bauman and RGTU im. Tsiolkovsky. Ten students of MSTU GA showed interest in the profession of a pilot. Aeroflot expects that, if successful, they will be able to recruit an additional 80-100 new pilots with a minimum total annual requirement of 200 specialists.

Pilot training in Russia has been and remains free. Pilots are trained by five flight schools. Aeroflot claims that they produce an insufficient number of pilots, and their language and theoretical level of training does not always meet the requirements set by the company.

After an interview at Aeroflot and passing a medical examination, a student who wants to become a pilot will conclude an agreement with the airline and begin training. It consists of two parts: initial flight training and further training for piloting a particular type of aircraft. For initial training, Aeroflot chose an accredited flight center in Florida, which belongs to the Riga Institute of Air Navigation. The training takes about 4.5 months and costs approximately $55,000, excluding meals and overhead costs associated with visa processing and flights. At the end of the training, it is necessary to pass two exams - on the theoretical program and flight training. The graduate receives an American standard pilot's license.

The second part of the training will take place in Moscow at the Aeroflot Aviation School. Here they teach piloting the A320 aircraft directly. This stage takes 6-7 months, and its cost is about $30,000. After that, to work as a pilot, students will still need to successfully complete their studies at the university and receive a diploma of higher education. This is a prerequisite.

Aeroflot emphasizes that there will be no gender discrimination in the selection process: girls will also be able to undergo training and become pilots.

Aeroflot opened its own aviation school in the spring of 2011. Initially, it was assumed that for the first year and a half, its cadets would be trained at the Ulyanovsk School in the specialty "flight operation of aircraft", and then for another six months directly at the Aeroflot school on a contract basis, obtaining a commercial pilot certificate CPL (MPL). However, this program did not go ahead, because it was not possible to resolve the issue of attracting state budget funding to pay for the initial flight training.

Whether other Russian airlines will follow the example of Aeroflot is still unclear. In Transaero, Izvestia was unable to answer this question.

For us, the main thing is that this does not go to the detriment of obtaining a basic higher education, - Boris Eliseev, rector of MSTU GA, told Izvestia. - And in the future we are considering the opportunity to start training pilots ourselves.

Major global airlines have been preparing pilots for themselves for a long time. The German Lufthansa has a similar offer to train pilots from scratch with a technical background. The training process takes 16 months and costs about $70,000. Often, foreign airlines pay in full all the costs of pilot training, which are then gradually deducted from wages. The period of mandatory work in such companies after training can reach 10 years.

How can you use it. In our material, we will describe the features of this type of education, as well as tell you where and how you can get a targeted direction to a university.

Features of Targeted Learning: Advantages and Disadvantages

Target admission is admission to the university on the budget in the direction of the state department or from the enterprise. If your training is paid by the enterprise, then you undertake to work for it within the period specified in the contract. If you receive a referral from a state body, then you will work according to the state distribution.

The main advantages of the target area:

  • free education;
  • guaranteed employment after graduation;
  • a separate competition “for target beneficiaries”;
  • enrollment occurs before the start of the first wave, if you did not pass, you will be able to participate in the main competition;
  • some enterprises provide the opportunity to work while studying on a flexible schedule;
  • social support from the future employer: scholarship, hostel, travel expenses, etc. (negotiated in the contract);
  • assistance of the employer in the educational process (for example, collecting the necessary information for term papers, abstracts, scientific articles and thesis).

The most important and significant drawback of such training- the obligation that you bear to the employer. Even if during the training you decide that you do not want to link your fate with the chosen profession, you still have to work out the period specified in the target contract. Otherwise, you will have to reimburse the funds spent on your education, sometimes in two or three times.

Target set 2018: what changes are possible

In 2018, the government plans to adopt a new law that will tighten the conditions for targeted admission. It is expected that the minimum period of mandatory work at the enterprise after training will be at least 3 years.

A new participant will appear in the contract between the applicant and the employer - the university. He will be responsible for the presence in the document of all obligations for both parties. It is also planned to toughen the responsibility for non-fulfillment of these obligations.

In popular universities of the country, there is a high competition for targeted places

Where to get a targeted referral to a university

How to find an organization that will be the customer of your education at the university? There are several options here:

  • If you want to enroll in a particular university, contact its admissions office and find out with which organizations it has concluded agreements on targeted admission. Some universities provide such information on their websites.
  • You can get a referral from government agencies. For example, if you want to enroll in, contact the Department of Health in your region.
  • In local governments (for example, in the city administration) you can get information about which employers left applications for the conclusion of a targeted contract. There you can also write an application for receiving a target direction, indicating the desired specialty.
  • You can find the organization yourself. Decide on a direction, select large organizations in this industry. Then visit them in person or go to the sites, find out if it is possible to get a referral to the university from them.

You can get a targeted referral through the Department of Health or a specific hospital

How to get a target referral to a university: step by step instructions

Start preparing for admission to targeted training in advance, about six months in advance.

Here is a general algorithm of actions:

  1. Decide on the direction you want to go.
  2. Find an organization that will pay for your education and/or contact your government agency.
  3. Gather the required documents.
  4. Conclude a target agreement with the customer (employer or government agency).
  5. Submit documents to the university along with a copy of the target agreement.

You can get only one target direction to one university. Many large enterprises conduct a competitive selection among students who have applied to them. They will look at your school performance and personal achievements, conduct an interview. An additional bonus for you can be prizes at major olympiads close to the direction of the organization.

If you are receiving a targeted referral from a government agency, be sure to file your application on time. Information about the date can be found on the institution's website. Most often You can apply from March.

Gazprom conducts a serious selection among target customers, up to their testing

What documents are needed to receive the target referral

You will need:

  • if you are studying at school - an extract on academic performance for the first half of the graduating class, certified by the seal of the school director;
  • certificate of education, if you are a graduate of previous years;
  • a diploma of secondary specialized education, if you are applying after a technical school or college;
  • copy of the passport;
  • reference from the place of study (if required);
  • documents confirming special achievements (diplomas, medals, etc.).

So, if you have already decided on your future specialty, you can get free education at a university with the help of a targeted direction from the organization in which you dream of working. The main thing at the same time is to be confident in your choice, because after training you will be obliged to work at the enterprise for the period specified in the target contract. Therefore, responsibly approach the choice of specialty and organization, collect the necessary package of documents and boldly proceed to study. After receiving a diploma, employment will be guaranteed to you.

Before choosing targeted training, weigh the pros and cons. This is a good way to get an education for free, which then will need to be worked out.

At the beginning of the training course at the flight school consisted of two stages. At the first stage, training took place at the Ulyanovsk Higher Aviation School with a degree in Flight Operation of Aircraft. Studied there for 1.5 years. In the second stage, training was already underway at the Aeroflot school itself on a contract basis for 6 months. If studying at the school was supposed to be free, then at school you had to pay for education, for this the company issued a targeted loan in the amount of the cost of studying. The contract with the student provided that after graduating from the flight school he would work for Aeroflot for 5 years, while he would be deducted money from his salary to repay the loan. But this program is not, since the airline failed to resolve the issue of budgetary financing from the state to pay for training at the first stage.

The average salary of a co-pilot at Aeroflot is an average of 250,000 rubles. Therefore, it will not be difficult to pay off a target loan allocated for studying at a flight school.
In 2013, flight training at Aeroflot consisted of two parts. Initial training took place at an accredited flight center in Florida, USA and took approximately 4.5 months. The course cost $55,000, and this does not include the cost of flights, visas and meals. After training, the students took two exams - for flight training and for the theoretical program. After successfully passing the exams, the student received an American standard pilot's license. Training in the second part took place directly on the basis of the Aeroflot flight school. Here they taught the basics of piloting a particular A320 aircraft. The study took 6-7 months and cost about $30,000.
