Thanks to this design, the device feels comfortable in the palm of your hand, although it has a large screen covered with 2.5D glass. Matte metal does not allow the device to slide strongly in the hands, so it is comfortable to hold it. Below the display are three touch buttons for navigation. But inside there is a powerful 4100 mAh battery. Available colors: gold, grey, pink and black. Dimensions: height - 151 mm, width - 76 mm, thickness - 8.5 mm, weight - 165 g.

There is an effective oleophobic coating that allows you to view the image directly on the street in sunny weather. The resolution of this display is 1920 by 1080 pixels, which allows the user to enjoy a detailed picture. The frames near the screen are not the thinnest. High contrast is complemented by the ability to independently adjust the color gamut to your liking. You can easily set warmer or colder colors.
Hardware and performance
Redmi Note 4X comes in several versions at once. The gadget hits global markets, as a rule, with an eight-core Snapdragon 625 processor, 32 GB of internal storage and 3 GB of RAM. So, in the AnTuTu test, this model is gaining about 62,000 points. As for the second version, it seems to be more advanced, as it is equipped with a MediaTek Helio X20 processor with ten cores. Moreover, 2 cores out of 10 are extremely fast - Cortex-A72. There is also more memory here - 64 GB of user memory + 4 GB of RAM. Naturally, the latest modification shows a slightly better performance, namely by 20-30%. At the same time, in everyday tasks, both devices demonstrate fast speed. The buyer will be met out of the box by the Android 6.0 operating system along with the MIUI 8 shell. There are no errors or freezes, the phone works really well and quickly.
Communication and sound
Thanks to the high-quality conversational dynamics in Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, the interlocutor is heard quite well in different situations. At the same time, its volume is at a level above average. There are no problems with the microphone. It is worth highlighting the sonorous multimedia speaker, which can still wheeze at the highest volume. The device supports two SIM cards: micro SIM + nano SIM. It is able to function in high-speed LTE networks.
Camera
The rear camera in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X smartphone is 13-megapixel, and also received aperture 2.0 and dual LED flash. Fast phase focusing makes it possible to instantly take another photo. With a large number of settings, you can create extraordinary shots with interesting effects. As for manual settings, only basic functions remain. The overall picture quality is good. But in some cases, noise suppression does not work correctly. Worthy things are with the front 5-megapixel camera. She also received aperture 2.0, there is a function to improve self-portraits.
findings

It has absolutely everything most important for a modern user - a large display, a good camera, excellent performance, fast Internet, high-quality sound and wonderful design. But the price in the region of 10,000 rubles can completely shock a potential buyer in a good way. The manufacturer did a quality job on the bugs, so the device deserves every attention. If you want to buy a very inexpensive, but advanced phone in every sense, then Redmi Note 4X will be one of the best options on the market.

Gadgets on the Android platform provide users with almost limitless possibilities. Today, it is one of the most popular operating systems, occupying a leading position in the world. To protect inexperienced users from performing potentially dangerous actions, Android has several powerful protection mechanisms. For example, in order to flash a device with custom firmware, you need to bypass them all. If you do not do this, an error message will appear in the process and the procedure will abort. So, what to do if the inscription “Installation aborted” appeared when flashing the phone.
What is causing the crash?
Being one of the mechanisms to protect the device from interference by inexperienced users, the “installation aborted” message protects the device. After all, incorrect actions during flashing or the use of inappropriate software will turn the gadget into a “brick”. It is not easy to get him out of this state. Often they encounter a problem with custom (unofficial) firmware, because there are no such problems with the official update, and it is done in the normal phone mode.
- Firmware (update.zip). It must fit exactly under your phone model, otherwise problems cannot be avoided.
- Change Recovery to custom (unofficial). Consider installing CWM (Clockworkmod).
This is what the minimum set of components looks like. Depending on the firmware method, the number of required elements increases.
How to fix installation aborted?
Please note that all procedures are performed at your own risk. Also, devices with unofficial firmware and modified Recovery do not apply warranty service. Do not forget that, in addition to installing from the phone's memory, there are different ways of flashing, for example, through the Windows console. Installing firmware from the root of the memory card - procedure:
- Download the firmware and copy it to the root of the phone.
- Reboot your phone and enter the mode Recovery.
- Clean up cache and system files ( wipe cache and wipe user data).
- Activate the firmware process.
- Wait for completion and reboot the device.
Quite often, when installing custom firmware (in particular LineageOS) on rooted Android smartphones or tablets, you may encounter " mistake 7". Error 7 in TWRP Recovery occurs when the name of your phone model is missing in the firmware script, or the name is there, but the firmware is intended for a different modification of the device (many smartphone models have several versions - for example, to work in the networks of different operators, and you need to install exactly "your" firmware).
The protection mechanism is responsible for the correct choice of firmware " Asserts". The script checks the device model and firmware version against the ro.build.fingerprint system variable requested from the recovery itself. If the codes match, it issues a confirmation of the legitimacy of the installation, and if it does not match (absence), it does not confirm the possibility of this action. As a result, you see an error 7, but your device does not turn into a brick. There are also cases when even with the correct firmware selection for your device, you still get error message 7. They are extremely rare and related with developer error firmware.
To fix error 7, you must first make sure that the firmware option is selected correctly, and it is intended specifically for your model and modification of an Android smartphone or tablet. If the error still appears, you will have to edit the file updater-script, which is responsible for matching firmware and device versions.
How to fix error 7 when flashing in TWRP?
- Copy the zip file of the ROM to your computer and extract it using your favorite archiver (eg 7-zip).
- After unpacking, find the META-INF folder and follow the META-INF / com / google / android chain. In the last folder you will find two files called "update-binary" and "updater-script". We are interested in the latter.
- Rename "updater-script" to "updater-script.txt" and open your favorite text file editor (Notepad++ is an option).
- Get rid of the lines starting with "assert" before the semicolon. This is usually the first or first few lines at the top of the text file. Just delete them.
- Save the file.
- Rename "updater-script.txt" back to "updater-script".
- Update all the files that you unzipped.
- Copy the new, edited zip file to your phone.
- Put your Android device into recovery mode and try flashing it - error 7 shouldn't bother you anymore.
