- Rename "updater-script" to "updater-script.txt" and open your favorite text file editor (Notepad++ is an option).
- Get rid of the lines starting with "assert" before the semicolon. This is usually the first or first few lines at the top of the text file. Just delete them.
- Save the file.
- Rename "updater-script.txt" back to "updater-script".
