The astrologer himself says that he is almost the only owner of a book containing information about the seer we are interested in and has long promised to publish these materials, however, he does not dare to do so.
Perhaps Pavel Globa really has the only copy of the book of an unknown seer that has survived to our time. But I think that the crafty astrologer, in order to increase his popularity, deliberately changed the name of the author of the prophecies of St. Basil the Blessed to the unknown “Vasily Nemchin”. By this act of his, he gave rise to many who doubt what the seer said.
Vasily Nemchin (1376, Polotsk - 1452) - a mysterious Belarusian seer. Currently, only excerpts from his book are available, which are not easy to interpret. This is a very old book, it was often copied, scribes later made inserts into it. Most likely, when it became clear that the information in the book was a threat to those in power, the book was classified.

It is easy to see that the beginning of the reign of M.S. Gorbachev coincides with the deadline indicated by Vasily “Nemchin”. After the “Great” October Revolution, until the appearance of M.S. Gorbachev, indeed, almost seventy years have passed. It turns out that here the prophecy was accurate.
Vasily “Nemchin” (Blessed) lived, if I am not mistaken, in the 17th century, and he could not have known about the plans of the enemies of Orthodoxy who would rise up against Russia before the end times. But you and I can learn something about these plans right now. On the Internet you can find many articles like “The Doctrine of Alain Dales”, “The Harvard Project”, etc. We will not consider them all. That is unnecessary. But the mentioned "Harvard project" (see documents) we can still compare with the prophecies of "Nemchin".
In the early 1980s, Soviet intelligence managed to obtain materials from the so-called "Harvard Project". ". It was a comprehensive program for the destruction of the USSR and the socialist system. It consisted of three volumes: "Perestroika", "Reform", "Completion". At the beginning of the first volume there is a long preamble, which said that on the verge of the 20th and 21st centuries, humanity is facing a terrible crisis due to a lack of raw materials and energy resources. Anglo-Saxon environmental analysts came to the conclusion that the salvation of mankind depends on how much it will be possible to solve common problems after the destruction, as the then US President Ronald Reagan said, of the "Evil Empire", that is, at the expense of the USSR, with a planned population reduction of 10 times and destruction of the nation state.

Well, so, and who else of the rulers of the “post-perestroika” time known to us left just like Vasily Nemchin said about this?
B.N. Yeltsin disappeared from the political arena as quickly as he appeared. Until the August 1991 PUTCH, he was not particularly different from his fellow communists, but in those significant days for the history of our state, his popularity instantly increased, and soon he became president of Russia. Russian citizens naively believed in his promises, but he, like his predecessor, was a mercenary of the West, who had to fulfill the following points in the plan for the destruction of Russia:

Yeltsin came up with the idea of introducing a law “on freedom of choice of religion” or something like that. As a result, a single people was divided into many small religious communities. It was a very subtle maneuver. If Yeltsin had neglected them, then all Russians would have turned to the Orthodox Church sooner or later. However, in this case, it would become impossible to defeat our people, because our Orthodox faith has always contributed to the growth of patriotic sentiments among the masses, which united us in times of danger to our Motherland and Faith.
Another thing is the sect. They came to us from the West, which for centuries hatched plans to destroy the Orthodox state - Russia. Listen to what they say, for example, "Jehovah's Witnesses." They do not serve in the army, and in every possible way contribute to undermining the patriotic sentiments among the people. Other sects act in the same way.
The presidential elections of 1996 were evidence of the weakening of the authority of the CPSU. The leader of the party that held power for about seventy years, Zyuganov, lost to his opponent BN Yeltsin, who by that time was no longer a member of the CPSU.
Thus, B.N. Yeltsin also fulfilled all the tasks assigned to him.
3. After the so-called. “flight of demons” and the arrival of the so-called. “big Boris” Russia will be ruled by a “little man with a black face, sitting on the shoulders of a giant” (in the Middle Ages in Russia, spies were called “black-faced”). During these years, great troubles will befall Russia, but his reign will be short-lived.
Even on the eve of the 2000 elections, many were wondering who would be the next president of Russia after Boris Yeltsin. There were those who boldly expressed their assumptions. Pavel Globa, relying on the prophecies of Vasily Nemchin, reasoning, tried to discern a candidate for future presidents in the person of Prime Minister Sergei Stepashin, and after his removal in the person of Primakov. The latter more closely matched the description given by the soothsayer than the former, since he had been a member of the secret services in the past. However, as time has shown, Pavel Globa was wrong this time.
Nevertheless, even after this puncture of the famous atrologist, the prophecy he voiced was fulfilled in all details. VVPutin is really small in stature, in the past he was a member of the secret services, and his appointment to the presidency is due to the direct participation of Boris Yeltsin - the “giant on his shoulders”, whom he entered the “Russian throne”.
The Russians hoped that with the advent of the new president, something would change for the better. However, most of them did not even suspect what tasks the Western leadership set for the new Russian government. What were these tasks?

The next third point of the plan is one hundred percent fulfilled. Free education and medical care have been eliminated, and we live by the principle that everything must be paid for.
But the last three points of the tasks assigned to Putin have not yet been completed. However, he still has time for this.

Nemchin says about Putin that he won't be around for long. As usual, there were a lot of links, but in essence there were only one or two of them. And what did it say? Unfortunately, not many of our people remember their history, but the enemies studied it very carefully and took into account all the subtleties in their plans to destroy Russia.
If you read carefully, then it will not be difficult for you to remember how the first B.N. Yeltsin successfully implemented a plan to destroy the integrity of the USSR. This plan was thought out to the smallest detail. When the socialist empire (USSR) suddenly turned into the CIS (Union of Independent States), few people understood what really happened. Should we underestimate our opponents now? Can we doubt that they will be able to carry out the next part of their plan?
Judging by the materials of the submitted documents, the plans of the West did not include the election of the next president of Russia after V.V. out of control. If the second option takes place, then I think that the situation for the people has not changed at all. The country is still ruled by a group of temporary workers who do not particularly care about their compatriots. The interim head of state is unlikely to waste time introducing reforms that would somehow change people's lives for the better. In the time allotted to him, he is likely to focus his efforts on consolidating his own financial position and, if possible, maintaining his popularity among the masses in order to secure victory in the next election and hold on to power for a second term. But back to the prophecies of Nemchin. So, now we are witnessing the reign of the "unintelligent youth." How much he still has to rule to say definitely, except for God, no one, of course, can. And I won't do it. However, if Nemchin's prophecies are to be believed, the time for a coup in Russia is near. I think it's not just a coincidence - the rule of a foolish youth who should be expelled and the election of the 44th president in America, who is predicted to involve her in an adventure with serious consequences for her. What is this adventure? Most likely another military aggression against one of the countries of the world. If you try the general features of the government of American presidents, then you can easily notice that each new president is conducting another military campaign. If we do not take into account the failure of the Vietnam campaign, starting with Bush Sr. (41st), who carried out the Desert Storm operation against Iraq, then Clinton - military aggression in Yugoslavia, Bush Jr. - the war in Iran with the elimination of Saddam Hussein. There are already several talks about Iran. I think it is quite likely that a new campaign can take place already under the elected 44th president of America. However, given Russia's current situation, such an action is impossible, because it can support Iran in pursuit of its own interests. Thus, before starting a war with Iran, America logically should have made some efforts to weaken Russia. There are prophecies of Orthodox saints who speak of the Chinese attacking us precisely because of the efforts of America. In 1991, the doctrine of "Geopolitical pluralism in the post-Soviet space" appeared. It implies the forceful preservation of the dismemberment of the Soviet Union and the further dismemberment of Russia, with the subsequent colonization of the post-Soviet space.
Also interesting is the statement made by US Secretary of Defense William Perry in 1995. In it, he, in particular, said that if a rollback of reforms occurs in Russia, then the United States will apply the “military factor”.
The coup that Vasily Nemchin predicted and that Seraphim of Sarov spoke of is in fact very beneficial to the hostile West. Such a scenario is convenient for our enemies, first of all, because it can be used as a pretext for bringing their own “peacekeeping forces” into Russia. And then all of them could manage us according to the scenario already worked out in Yugoslavia and Iraq. That is their plan.
However, if the plans of the enemies of Russia are successfully implemented, this means only one thing - they are partly consistent with the plans of God.
The reign of ten kings will greatly weaken the defense capability of Russia. The Chinese will certainly take advantage of this circumstance. They also have their own project regarding the development of the lands of their northern neighbor - Russia. It is called the "Great Northern Project" - a plan developed by the General Staff of the Chinese Armed Forces for the Chinese to settle the territory of Russia from the East to the Urals.
When the Chinese invade, it must be assumed that our people will have nothing left but to hope in God, who, according to the prophecy of Aristocles of Athos:
"one. God will take away all the leaders so that the Russian people look only at Him.
2. Everyone will abandon Russia, other powers will abandon it, leaving it to itself - this is so that the Russian people trust in the help of the Lord.
3. Hear that riots will begin in other countries and similar to that in Russia, and you will hear about the war and there will be wars - now the time is near.
The same saint, if I am not mistaken, also owns such words "the salvation of Russia will begin through China." And Seraphim Vyritsky said that China would be baptized in Russia.
And then, when, according to Vasily Nemchin, "a terrible death will threaten everyone," someone will appear, whom he calls the "Swift Sovereign", "Great Horseman" and "The short-lived great sovereign."
This event should take place in the vicinity of 2005, Nemchin writes, there will be “great joy - the return of the crown”, and then the “acceptance under the crown” of the entire “big tree”, in which there will be three “shoots” - in other words, this Sovereign will reunite Ukraine again, Belarus and Russia:
“Before the end of time, Russia will merge into one great sea with other Slavic lands and tribes, it will form one sea or that vast universal ocean of the people, about which the Lord God from ancient times spoke through the lips of all the saints: “Terrible and invincible Kingdom of All Russia, pan-Slavic - Gog and Magog before whom all nations will tremble.” And all this is the same as twice two makes four, and without fail, as God is holy, who from ancient times foretold about him and his formidable dominion over the earth. By the combined forces of Russia and other nations, Constantinople and Jerusalem will be filled. When Turkey is divided, almost all of it will remain with Russia…” (Rev. Seraphim of Sarov, 1825-32)
The recognition of the Russian tsar will be nationwide: “Impossible for people, possible for God,” Abel said, “God is slow to help, but it is said that he will give it soon and erect a horn of Russian salvation. - And the Great Prince will rise in exile from your house, standing for the sons of your people. This will be the Chosen One of God, and his blessing is on his head. It will be one and understandable to everyone, the very heart of Russia will smell it. His appearance will be sovereign, bright, and no one will say: "The king is here or there," but "this is he." The will of the people will submit to the mercy of God, and he himself will confirm his vocation ... His name is thrice destined in Russian history. The paths would be different again on the Russian Mountain ... "
Before talking about the seventh head, let's reveal the meaning of the ten horns, as they will work together precisely during the seventh head.
Here is what we read about the ten horns:
“And the ten horns that you saw are the ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will take power with the beast as kings for one hour. They have the same thoughts and will give their strength and power to the beast. They will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them; for he is the Lord of lords and the King of kings, and those who are with him are called and chosen and faithful. And the ten horns that you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her with fire” (Rev. 17:12-14,16 verses).
Where and when can we expect the fulfillment of these events? Before the Coming of Christ? Or do these events take place after 1000 years? Is this a reasonable question?
Let's get it right. Let us first find the value of ten horns.
What are the horns in the Holy Scripture in their symbolic meaning? Although the text explains that ten horns are ten kings. But this is too general a concept about kings. What did John count on when he gave this symbol? Knowing the Old Testament Scriptures, where do our eyes go when we read about the horns on the beast of chapter 17?
Let's cite seven texts from the Old Testament that talk about horns; and then draw a conclusion.
Let us first quote the texts about the horns at the disposal of God and His people:
1. “His strength is like the firstborn calf, and his horns are like the horns of a buffalo; with them he will gore all the nations to the ends of the earth: these are the thousands of Ephraim, these are the thousands of Manasseh ”(Deut. 33:17).
2. “The Lord will wipe out those who dispute with Him; thunder down on them from heaven. [The Lord] will judge the ends of the earth, and he will give strength to his king, and he will exalt the horn of his anointed” (1 Samuel 2:10).
3. “My God is my rock; in him I trust; my shield, the horn of my salvation, my shield and my refuge; My Savior, You have delivered me from troubles” (2 Samuel 22:3).
4. “And Zedekiah, the son of Canaan, made for himself iron horns, and said, Thus says the Lord: With these you will gore the Syrians until they are destroyed” (1 Kings 22:11).
5. “The Lord is my rock and my refuge, my Redeemer, my God, my rock; in him I trust; my shield, the horn of my salvation, and my refuge” (Ps. 17:3).
6. “He lifted up the horn of his people, the glory of all his saints, the sons of Israel, a people close to him. Hallelujah" (Ps. 149:14).
7. “In that day I will restore the horn to the house of Israel, and I will open your mouth in the midst of them, and they will know that I am the Lord” (Ezekiel 29:21).
Is the meaning of the horns already looming?
Let's take seven more texts where horns are given as a symbol at the disposal of the wicked:
1. “I say to the foolish, “Do not be foolish,” and to the wicked, “Do not lift up your horns” (Ps. 74:5).
2. “Do not lift up your horns, [do not] speak harshly” (Ps. 74:6).
3. “I will break all the horns of the wicked, and the horns of the righteous will be lifted up” (Ps. 74:11).
4. “The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, says the Lord” (Jer. 48:25).
5. “In the heat of anger he broke all the horns of Israel, turned his right hand away from the enemy, and kindled in Jacob, like a scorching fire that devoured everything around” (Pl. Jer. 2:3).
6. “The Lord hath done what he has ordained, fulfilled his word spoken of of old, destroyed without mercy, and let the enemy rejoice over you, lifted up the horn of your adversaries” (Pl. Jer. 2:17).
And the most interesting text, which we will dwell on in more detail. He will shed direct light on our question: What are the horns that we see on the beast.
7. “And I lifted up my eyes, and saw, behold, four horns” (Zech. 1:18).
“And I said to the angel who spoke to me, What is this? And he answered me: These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
Then the Lord showed me four workers.
And I said, What are they going to do? He told me this: These horns scattered Judas, so that no one can lift his head; but these came to terrify them, to knock off the horns of the nations that raised their horn against the land of Judah, to scatter it” (Zechariah 1:19-21).
Revealing the meaning of these four horns, let's leave them for a while and turn to Daniel's description of the horns, where the mystery is revealed before us at a glance, and all the symbols become clear.
Here are seven texts from Daniel:
1. “And the ten horns signify that ten kings will rise from this kingdom, and after them another will rise, different from the first, and will put down three kings” (Dan. 7:24).
2. “I lifted up my eyes and saw: behold, one ram stands by the river; he has two horns, and the horns are high, but one is higher than the other, and the upper one is raised after” (Dan. 8:3).
3. “I carefully looked at this, and, behold, from the west a goat walked across the face of the whole earth, not touching the earth; this goat had a prominent horn between its eyes” (Dan. 8:5).
4. “He went to that ram that had horns, which I saw standing by the river, and rushed at him in his great fury” (Dan. 8:6).
5. “And I saw how he drew near to the ram, became angry with him, and struck the ram, and broke both of his horns; and the ram was not strong enough to stand against it, and he threw it to the ground and trampled it, and there was no one who could save the ram from it” (Dan. 8:7).
6. “Then the goat became exceedingly exalted; but when it was strong, the great horn was broken, and four came out in its place, facing the four winds of heaven” (Dan. 8:8).
7. “From one of them went out a small horn, which grew exceedingly to the south and to the east and to a beautiful country” (Dan. 8:9).
I think the comment is redundant. But if we still have some doubts about the meaning of the horns, then let's cite some more texts, where it is described in such a way that it is no longer possible to be more specific:
“The ram you saw with two horns is the kings of Media and Persia” (Dan. 8:20).
“And the shaggy goat is the king of Greece, and the great horn that is between its eyes is its first king” (Dan. 8:21).
Why is the horn or horns taken as a symbol of military operations and conquests? This image is taken from animals. Why do animals have horns? In what situations do they use them? They need them for self-defense and as a means of gaining an advantage for prolonging the family.
Therefore, the horn in Holy Scripture is a symbol of strength and power:
“Arise and grind, daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn of iron and your hooves of brass, and you will crush many nations, and you will consecrate their possessions and their riches to the Lord, the Ruler of all the earth” (Micah 4:13).
In biblical language, to break the horn of any king or people meant to diminish their power and tame them. On the contrary, when God lifted up someone's horn, then by this he strengthened his power.
So, the horns in Scripture mean rulers, and not just peaceful rulers, but rulers who go to war and conduct military operations and conquests. Now, considering the horns in the Biblical understanding, our concept is expanding. It's not just ten kings. Those horns that are revealed in the 17th chapter of Revelation, they are not revealed in a general sense, but as kings leading aggressive actions. Further we will see that this is not yet an exhaustive interpretation of the meaning of the horns-kings. Not just kings who conquer other states, but kings whose conquests and oppressions concern the people of God.
Let's go back to Zech. 1:18-19 and look again at the four horns. Who exactly could they mean?
Zechariah understood that the image of horns represented the political forces operating in the world. God gave him this vision: “On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, this is the month of Shevat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, the son of Barahiin, the son of Addov, the prophet” (Zach. 1: 7). The Babylonian captivity was already over, and now they were in captivity of the new ruler Darius the Mede. The description of the four horns is read in the form of the past tense: “And he answered me: These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem” (Zech. 1:19). Let's see who scattered Judea and Jerusalem?
Babylon.
Thus, in one of the four horns we can see Babylon, which scattered Judah and Jerusalem. Who could the other three horns represent?
And who scattered Israel?
Assyria. Here is another horn.
Although it is customary for us to see two horns on an animal, and we would like to distribute two horns for each king, for each kingdom, but the text of Rev. 17:12 symbolically gives one horn to each king: "And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings." Therefore, we should adhere to just such a distribution of horns, one for each king.
We continue to consider the text of Zechariah. The text about the horns is not only in the past tense. There is the future of the people of God and their fate from other oppressors and enslavers. If Zechariah 1:19 speaks of the horns that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem, then in verse 20 the Lord showed the prophet four workers, and in verse 21 of the same first chapter he is interested: “And I said: what are they going to do? He told me this: These horns scattered Judas, so that no one can lift his head; but these came to terrify them, to knock off the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah, to scatter it” (Zechariah 1:21).
Noticed? "These have come to knock off the horns of the peoples who lifted up their horn against the land of Judah, to scatter it." The horn of Assyria has already been knocked down, the horn of Babylon too. And what other two kingdoms the workers that the prophet saw go to knock off the horns?
If we consider the book of Zechariah together with the book of Daniel, then it will not be difficult for us to see the other two horns, representing subsequent world empires, which were directly related to Judah and which were also knocked down, like the horns of Babylon and Assyria. These are Medo-Persia and Greece, represented as a ram and a goat.
What can confuse us here? To which of these two states can we express doubt? This is Medo-Persia, during whose reign the people finally received permission to return to Jerusalem. At first glance, this circumstance excludes Medo-Persia from the list of oppressors of the people of God. But it seems so at first glance. Although the people received permission to return to Jerusalem, but after the Babylonian captivity, Judah did not receive complete political freedom either under Medo-Persia or under the rule of Greece. They were all the days under the protection of these great powers. In addition, one can also take into account the intention of the devil to destroy the people of God under Haman in Medo-Persia and those oppressions and desecrations of Jerusalem and the temple under Epiphanes during the reign of Greece.
These are the four horns from the book of the prophet Zechariah, they are - Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia and Greece.
Having seen how the prophet Zechariah had four horns open that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem, we have a direction in which area to look for the rest of the horns, which also directly or indirectly exerted their state influence on the oppression of the people of God.
Let's get it right. Was there not before Babylon and before Assyria some kind of horn, which was also an instrument of Satan in order to "gore" the people of God?
If we trace history from the very beginning, we do not observe any military expansion before the flood. People moved away from God and lived for their own pleasure, until God destroyed them with the waters of the flood.
Before the construction of the Tower of Babel, this was also not observed.
In the days of Abraham, there were already military clashes. The kings united, and there was a battle for power and land; and Lot was ricocheted and taken captive while living within the city that the united kingdoms conquered. But clashes, attacks, captivity of the whole people of God, and at that time they were the family of Abraham, then Isaac, and finally, Jacob - this was not observed.
But then Egypt showed itself as a horn that rebelled against the people of God, when the pharaoh gathered all his chariots, all the infantry and moved in pursuit of him. But God “broke off his horns,” and saved His people with a miraculous deliverance.
Thus, we already have five horns. Let us repeat them: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia and Greece.
These are the five horns in the Old Testament. You say: And Rome? The story is this:
When Rome was conducting military operations to conquer Greece, and when the Roman legions approached Jerusalem, the gates of Jerusalem were opened and the priests came out with bread and salt. And thus Judea peacefully merged into the Roman Empire, and they were even allowed to have their own king, and a number of other advantages were given to them, which other conquered states did not have. For example: in addition to their gods, everyone should also honor the Roman Caesar as a god. The Jews were released from this obligation, such were the terms of the peace treaty between Jerusalem and Rome.
Judea will still anger Rome with its uprisings and will pay bitterly for this, but this is already in the New Testament time. And in general, by this time, Judea as a nation had no relation to the people of God.
FIVE HORN OF THE CHRISTIAN ERA
Let's see what the history of the Christian era bears witness to. What militia attacked Christians in New Testament times?
The first enemy from which Christians suffered a lot was pagan Rome. Christians were already persecuted under Nero. Before the revolt of the Jews in the sixties, Rome had favored the Jews, although they were increasingly out of favor with the dominant empire. Remember, if in the days of Christ's birth there was a king in Judea, then in the days of Jesus' death a Roman procurator was already appointed over Judea, but the terms of the agreement on the right not to worship the emperor as a god were still in force. Christians hid behind this privilege and identified themselves with the Jews. And Rome regarded them as just another sect or branch of Judaism. But the uprising of the Jews in the sixties and the suppression of this uprising in the seventies, when the Roman troops besieged the city, and after a long siege took it by storm, left its indelible imprint on the future fate of the Jews. After this time, the Jews lost all advantages. And Christians, if they identified themselves with the Jews when it was beneficial for them, now they began to distance themselves from the Jews, since they fell out of favor with Rome. We know the consequences of this. In defiance of the Jews, in order not to be identified with them, Christians began to give preference to the first day of the week, they say, we are not Jews at all, and our day of worshiping God is completely different. But they still did not escape the oppression from Rome. How many Christians fell victim at the hands of pagan Rome.
Pagan Rome is thus the sixth horn that gored Christianity.
What evidence has the story left us of further military attacks from outside on Christianity? First, let's remember that the Roman Christian Empire was divided into two camps: Eastern and Western. Here is a historical note:
“In the reign of Emperor Constantine I (306-337), Christianity becomes the state religion of the Roman Empire. In 375 the Huns invaded Europe. The Great Migration of Nations began. And on January 17, 395, the empire split into Western Roman and Eastern Roman. Soon the Eastern Empire turned into an independent state - Byzantium.
Let's see what is the fate of the East? Who caused a lot of unrest to Byzantium? These are Islamic conquerors. The fifth and sixth trumpets describe the destructive wars of the Saracens and the Turks. The war between Persia under Xerxes II (590-628 A.D.) and the Roman Empire under Hercules I (610-641), which led to the weakening of their states and thus prepared the whole situation for the victory of Islam. The capital of the Byzantine Empire, Constantinople, was captured by the Ottoman Turks under the leadership of Sultan Mehmed II on Tuesday, May 29, 1453. This entailed the destruction of the Eastern Roman Empire and the death of the last Byzantine emperor, Constantine XI Dragash. The victory gave the Turks dominance in the eastern Mediterranean basin. The city remained the capital of the Ottoman Empire until its collapse in 1922.
Here is another historical note:
The impact of Muslim Turkey on Europe after the fall of Constantinople in 1453 was as severe as the catastrophic invasions of Muslim Saracens over the 150 years after the death of Muhammad on the Eastern Roman Empire. Throughout the Reformation, Turkey was a constant threat at the eastern gate of European Christendom; reformers constantly condemned the Ottoman state.
Here is the seventh horn. These are the Muslim states that put an end to Byzantium.
The eighth horn is the French army that inflicted a mortal wound on western Rome (the papacy).
The ninth horn, these are the atheists of the Soviet Union with all the socialist countries subordinate to it, who persecuted not only Christians, but also all believers. They declared and there were posters everywhere saying, "Religion is the opium of the people." And since opium, it must be exterminated.
The tenth horn will be the world government, which will direct all its forces to the extermination of the remnant of God's people after the time of grace closes.
I foresee that some may be confused by the fact that in the eighth horn the French are the horn and the Roman Catholic Church is "butted." We would like to see the Catholic Church itself in the role of a horn, butting true Christians. But this is an internal Christian struggle, it has always been, but it cannot be attributed to the horns. The people of God "butted" pagan lands. “But Catholics, what kind of people of God are they,” someone will say. They themselves persecuted true Christians. I want to say: it is not in our competence to draw conclusions. Israel and Judah were also at enmity with each other. But until a certain time, both the northern state was considered the people of God, and the southern one, despite their apostasy, sins, and idolatry. Until the end of the seventy weeks, the Jews were the chosen people of God, despite their apostasy and even the crucifixion of Christ. After the crucifixion, three and a half years later, they ceased to be the people of God as a whole people, as a nation.
From that time on, spiritual Israel, that is, Christianity, became the people of God, and Christianity, all Christianity, will be the people of God to the end, this is the period of the sixth head of the beast. And only by the close of the blessed time, when everything is determined, and when the remnant remains, and the sixth head of the beast falls, only then will there be a division into “sheep” and “goats”. In the meantime, all the Christian people are God's people, Although some fall into one heresy, others into another. For some, the truth is revealed in full light, but the spiritual state wants the best. In a word, Babylon can be not only in some denomination, but also in the heart of any Christian. In a word, out of this deplorable Babylonian state comes the call: “Come out of her, My people, so that you do not participate in her sins and not be exposed to her plagues” (Rev. 18:4). Have you noticed how God calls those in the state of Babylon? - my people.
For the retreat of the Israeli people and the Jews, God allowed the pagan hordes to "butt" them, enslave, oppress them, with the aim of converting the people in any way. God also allowed Christianity to be “butted” with horns by non-Christian conquerors. Neither the Eastern Orthodox nor the Western Catholic Church escaped this fate.
So, we have considered the history of the people of God and those oppressors who rebelled against them. But this is only an introductory part of what we need to understand. We have identified only ten horns. Their phased existence in history. But we need to see the most important thing: when they all get power together for half an hour. Let's remember the text:
“And the ten horns that you saw are the ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will take power with the beast as kings for one hour. They have the same thoughts and will give their strength and power to the beast. They will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them; For He is the Lord of lords and the King of kings, and those who are with Him are called and chosen and faithful” (verses 12-14).

Chapter X. The Vedic Myths of the Morning Deities. TEN KINGS AND RAVAN.
It was said above that in The Rigveda mentions ten golden-handed kings and ten who do not know sacrifices.(VIII, 5, 38; VII, 83, 7). But it is impossible to mention here only a passing mention of these latter. Of King Sudasa, son of Divodasa Atithigva, it is said that he fought with ten such unrighteous kings, he was helped Indra and Varuna(VII, 33, 3-5; VII, 83, 6-8). This battle is known in literature as "dasarajna". The chief priest of King Sudas, Vasistha, took care that Indra supported him. On this shaky basis, some scholars have suggested that it is described here a battle between the Aryans with ten non-Aryan, non-sacrificial kings. But I think the Dasarajna battle should be explained more simply and naturally as one of the options. battles between Indra and the seven Danava demons (X, 120, 6). In the Rig Veda Indra is called the killer seven times, which may refer to seven danavams , or to the seven fortresses of Vritra(I, 174, 2) in the depths of the seven-bottom ocean (VIII, 40, 5). If Indra is seven times a killer ("saptahan") , it can also be defined as tenfold killer, guided by the principle of division explained above. The word "dashahan" does not occur in the Rigveda, but the battle with ten kings practically corresponds to this concept. We have already said above that among the enemies of Indra there were also such as Dashoni and Dashamaya, clearly connected by the form of their names with the number ten (“dasha”). The ten golden-like kings look like the images of the ten months of sunshine, the gods of these ten months, and that they are said to be given to the sacrificers seems to be justified. One of the admirers of Indra is called Dashadya, that is, "shining tenfold."
Combining all these facts, we come to the conclusion that the seven demons - Danavas, who were the forces of darkness, could also be perceived as tenfold, and Indra, who helped Sudas in the fight against ten unrighteous kings, correlates with the old story about the annual struggle between light and darkness, as it seemed to the inhabitants of those places where, after ten summer months, two months of long night set in, that is, those places where the Dashagvas lived.
But this is not the end of the manifestations of interest in this wonderful battle. If we remember that the word "king" in the Rig Veda did not refer to the class (estate) of warriors and that in one place it defines the Angirases (I, 139, 7), then such words and expressions as "ten golden kings" will become obvious synonyms , "ten sacrificers", "ten Angirases" or "ten Dashagvas who made sacrifices for ten months". Brihaspati was the head of the Angirases, and as such could well bear a nickname that applied to them all. And we see that he is once called seven-mouthed and seven-headed, and in another hymn - ten-mouthed and ten-headed (IV, 50, 4), also in the Atharvaveda in a hymn (IV, 6, 1). This Brihaspati is associated in the text with the history of Sarama and with the "pani people", and it is said about him that he helped Indra in finding cows and even performed this feat himself (I, 83, 4; X, 108, 6-11). Brihaspati is also said to have lost his wife, who was returned to him by the gods. This is a clear story about the return of the dawn to the person whom Brihaspati represents here, that is, the main donor.
In Taittiriya Aranyaka (I, 12, 3-4) Indra is described as the lover of Ahalya, and this myth was explained as referring to the dawn and the sun - as understood, for example, by such an orthodox scholar as Kumarila. In later literature, Ahalya is described as the wife of the Rishi Gotama (whose name means "having many cows"), but it is still not difficult to perceive the story of Ahalya (whose name Max Muller associates with the word "ahan" - "day") as the original story of the dawn , or as the hymn version of the Brahmajaya legend (X, 109).
These facts are very significant and make one think about some of the data of the Ramayana. Let's say right away that a deep penetration into the historical basis of this great Indian epic is not included in the tasks of this book of ours - Vedic myths are analyzed here, and if we mention this epic, it is only with the intention of pointing out those moments of similarity with it that cannot be overlooked, for they are amazing. The whole main plot of the Ramayana is set out in such detail that in its general form it bears the stamp of its historical origin. But even under these conditions, we must explain why the enemy of Rama is a ten-headed monster, and also why Rama's father is called Dasha-ratha, that is, "the owner of the ten chariots."
The ten-headed monster cannot be unequivocally perceived as a historical character, and it looks like the author of the epic skillfully introduced some data from Vedic myths into its main plot. We saw above that among the enemies of Indra there are such as Da-shoni or Dashamaya, in the battle called Dasha-rajna, ten unrighteous kings, carriers of demonic essence, fought against Sudas. These ten kings who do not sacrifice may well be perceived as one king with ten heads, that is, as a ten-headed monster, and this is quite consistent with such a device in the mytho-epic literature as the description of Bri-haspati, the main among the ten Angirases, having ten heads and ten mouths. . And the fact that in the Ramayana the brother of the ten-headed demon fell asleep for six months every year also indicates the connection of the plot with the theme of the Arctic.
Professor A. Rice in his "Gibbert Lectures" quotes Plutarch's words that the inhabitants of Paphlagonia * considered their gods to be in seclusion all winter, and they were released only by summer. He explains this legend as an indication of the temporary suppression by the forces of darkness of the forces of light during the long arctic night. Agreeing with this point of view, we can also think that the ten-headed enemy of Rama, the demon Ravana, also suppressed the gods until Rama freed them from him.
*Paphlagonia is a region of Asia Minor that developed independently until the 6th century BC.
There is another character in the Ramayana that needs clarification - Hanuman, a monkey deified in Hinduism. In the Rigveda there is a mention of a male monkey (“Vrishakapi”), in the form of which the sun appears on the day of the autumnal equinox, when, according to the arctic theory discussed in this book, it approaches the moment of leaving the horizon in the long night of the lower world. R. Pischel was the first to draw attention to the fact that this Vrishakapi is a possible "ancestor" of Hanuman in the Puranas, and the fact that Hanuman was born at sunset supports this view to a certain extent.
Moreover, Narayana Ayangar in his “Essays on Indo-Aryan Mythology” indicates that the heroine of the “Ramayana” Sita, the wife of Rama, can be elevated to the word “Sita” in the Rig Veda, where it means a furrow in the earth *, and people worshiping her ask her grant them wealth (harvest) (IV, 57, 6-7). In the Ramayana, Sita was born from the earth and ended her days being consumed by it. In this light, the above explanation looks very plausible. It is very likely that this mythical moment of the Ramayana goes back to the story of a wife lost by a brahmin and returned to him named Brahmajaya, in whose image the dawn is reflected, returning to a person, to the first priest-sacrifice Brihaspati (which happened after the battle between Indra and Vritra for resurrection of the world).
* In the Ramayana, King Janaka, performing a ritual of sacred plowing, found Sita in a furrow. In Hinduism, she is revered as the daughter of the earth. Her life ended with the fact that, at her plea, the earth swallowed her up.
A more extended study of these problems requires further deepening into the essence of these sources. Thus, Max Müller pointed out that many names in the Iliad can be traced back to the Vedas (if not by their direct sound, then by their semantic content).
So, Elena is similar to Sarama in the Vedas, the name of Paris comes from the ethnonym "pani", etc. But in this way it will still not be possible to trace all the names in the Iliad to the Vedas.
Still, it attracts attention that both in Greek and Indian mythology a trace of the most ancient heritage is preserved - the legend of the return of his wife-dawn to the abandoned husband. We should also not be surprised that in the Ramayana and the Iliad there are striking coincidences - some common elements of ancient myths appear in both poems, although in different local colors. The statement that the Ramayana was borrowed from the Iliad does not make any sense. The essence, apparently, is different, namely, that both Valmiki and Homer reproduced an ancient plot that has been preserved in the mythology of both peoples having a common origin. A. Weber pointed out that in the Buddhist "Dasaratha Jataka" Sita appears as a sister, and not the wife of Rama, and this scholar believes that this version of the plot is the most ancient, since brother-sister marriages were as original as Adam himself. According to Telang, the Buddhists have altered the Brahmin epic, which is most likely. But still, since a number of features of the Vedic myths about the dawn are partially intertwined with the main historical theme of the epic, we can assume that the specified Buddhist version was generated by an attempt dating back to pre-Buddhist times, liken Rama to the god Surya, who is described in the Rigveda as both a brother and a lover of the dawn (VII, 75, 5; VI, 55, 4-5; X, 3, 3).
I have already pointed out that this plot is too extensive, and therefore it is impossible to fully analyze it here. My purpose was to show that there are, as I see it, some similarities between the Ramayana and the Vedic myths. But this subject is so interesting that it is difficult to cover it in depth here, and I am forced to resist the temptation to delve deeper into its study.
The problem of ten incarnations is also connected with the question of the ten golden kings, or with the ten gods mentioned in the Atharva Veda, or with the ten incarnations of Veretraghna in the Avesta. In Bahram-yasht they are: wind, bull, horse, camel, boar, child, raven, ram, male (animal) and man. Four of them - a horse, a boar, a child and a man - make one think of their correspondence to Kalki, the boar, the dwarf-Vamana and Rama, who are found in the Puranas. This suggests that the concept of ten avatars (incarnations) is clearly of Indo-Iranian origin, and it is extremely interesting to trace its development on Indian soil. Such avatars of Vishnu as Matsya (fish), Kurma (tortoise), Varaha (boar), Narasimha (lion-man), Vamana (dwarf) and Rama, can be more or less successfully identified in some images of the Rig Veda. But a careful study of this question requires such a deep study that here I can only suggest to the reader some guesses that have come into my head and ask him to accept them as such. If the Arctic theory finds its full confirmation in science, not only the myths of the Vedas, but also the Puranas will appear in a new light, and then it will become necessary to recheck, and in many cases completely change their accepted explanations. But this I cannot fit into this book, which is devoted to bringing evidence to support this theory.
We have cited and discussed here most of the Vedic legends that can throw light on the main goal of our study. There are many more points in the Vedas that can be more accurately explained than now by means of the Arctic theory. For example, we can now understand why Mitra and Varuna were perceived as two mutually corresponding gods - according to our theory, they should have represented light and darkness, which lasted for half a year in the homeland of the Aryans, and Varuna could be perfectly described as "embracing (embracing) the nights" (VIII, 41, 3).
But we cannot go into all this here. I only intended to convince the readers that many episodes in the Vedic myths cannot be explained by the theory of the daily struggle of light with darkness, or the victory of spring over winter, or the struggle of the god of thunderstorms with clouds, because, following these paths, we will not be able to understand why Vritra is killed once a year, why the waters and light are described as being released exactly at the moment of Vritra's death, or why the fight between Indra and Shambara, as indicated in the Rigveda, began on the fortieth day of autumn ("charad"). Nor will we be able to understand why this battle took place in a remote area, why Dirghatamas is described as having grown old at the onset of the tenth yuga, why Martanda was cast aside as the dead son of Aditi, why Trita, i.e. the Third, fell into a pit, or, again, why Vishnu's third step was considered invisible.
We can now see that not only these, but also other episodes of the Vedic myths can be satisfactorily explained, and their essence directly directs us to rely on the Arctic theory. Indeed, in the legends about Indra and Vritra, about Saptavadhri, about Aditi with her seven healthy sons and one premature, about the wheel of Surya or about Dirghatamas - everywhere we find expressive lines that speak of a period of sunlight lasting from seven to ten months, which could be observed in those places where these legends originated. And if we do not approach all this with the preconceived notion that all that has been mentioned is only an accidental coincidence, then we will see, it seems to me, the natural character of our appeal to a theory that explains so many of those facts, as well as events, which before of this time have either been ignored or denied and misunderstood, although there is an easy, natural and reasonable road to their explanation.
I do not want to say that the Arctic theory is completely at odds with the necessary provisions of the theories of dawn, thunderstorms and spring. I am only trying to show that the Arctic theory can explain many of the legendary or traditional ideas and facts that have hitherto been hopelessly considered inexplicable, and that it provides us with weapons more effective and powerful than those available to the theories of dawn, thunderstorms and spring. To be more precise, there are grounds when considering mythological plots to recommend researchers to turn to the Arctic theory, taking into account and even involving the indications of other theories, older ones.
In addition to this, as already indicated in previous chapters, let us say that the new theory is based on direct and independent indications of the facts contained in the Rig Veda, which report the duration and nature of dawn, days and nights, months and years in the homeland of the ancient ancestors of the Vedic rishis. In addition, the Avestan and Roman traditions fully confirm our conclusion.
We have also seen that this theory is in clear agreement with the latest results of geological and archaeological research. Should we continue to refuse the assertion that only this theory explains many facts, legends and episodes, following the path of their true and reasonable perception, and widely covers the ancient history of the Aryan race - refuse only because at first glance it can seem ridiculous? If we do so, we will not be acquitted by the proponents of the rules of inference and scientific inquiry. And I was guided by these rules, being aware of both the possibility of achieving success and the manifestation of the shortcomings of this theory, which I have tried to present in these pages.
