7. What is "targeted learning"?

Some universities conduct admissions for targeted training in specialties included in the list determined by the Government of the Russian Federation.

Step 3. How to pass additional entrance tests

Any higher educational institution has the right to appoint additional entrance examinations for applicants (in addition to the results of the Unified State Examination) according to its own developed program. This is spelled out not only in the Procedure (clauses 10.80), but also in Federal Law No. 273 of December 29, 2012 (Article 69, part 6).

As for the additional tests established in a particular university, their list must be published and not subject to change later than September 1 of the year preceding the year of admission. Step 5. Application for consent to enroll in a university

In order to be enrolled in a university, an applicant who has successfully passed the entrance examinations must give his consent to be enrolled in the lists of students of this higher educational institution.
