State symbols of the native city. Coat of arms of Khanty-Mansiysk Khanty coat of arms

Both symbols were adopted on September 14, 1995. "The coat of arms of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug is a silver emblem located on the lining of two shields inscribed one into the other, and reproducing the stylized symbol "Kat uhup howl" (two-headed bird) in the field of a dissected azure (blue, light blue) and green shield. Contour the shield is surrounded by gold.

The figured shield is inscribed in a straight red shield, which is a rectangle with a figured point at the bottom. The shield is crowned with a white element, made in the ornamental style of the Ob Ugrians, and surrounded by a wreath of green cedar branches. The motto "Yugra" is inscribed in silver letters on an azure ribbon located under the shield.

A stylized two-headed bird is a sacred figure inherent in the ancient cult traditions of the Finno-Ugric tribes of the Ural region. It is a pair of mythical birds, combined with tails. With their wings, birds support the rising sun - the source of life, the patron of the ancient peoples of the Urals and Trans-Urals. The Ugric tribes, who came to these areas in the 1st millennium BC from the steppes of Northern Kazakhstan and Western Siberia, became one of the ancestors of the Khanty and Mansi. The Russians at the end of the 11th century called them "Ugrs" (from Ugry). Hence the name of the region "Ugra", "Ugra land" was born.

The motto "Yugra" emphasizes the ancient name of the Autonomous Okrug. The white element is a stylized image of reindeer horns, an indispensable attribute of the Khanty-Mansiysk national ornament. Khanty and Mansi borrowed reindeer husbandry from the Nenets as early as the 13th-14th centuries. And now the indigenous peoples are engaged in reindeer herding.

A wreath of green cedar branches indicates that more than half of the territory of the district is covered with forests, mostly coniferous. The figured shield graphically perfectly corresponds to the style of the image of a two-headed bird.

The flag of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug is a rectangular panel divided horizontally into two equal stripes (the upper one is blue-blue, the lower one is green), completed vertically with a rectangular white stripe.

In the upper left part of the canvas there is a white element from the coat of arms of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.

The ratio of the height of the panel (along the shaft) to the total length to the end of the rectangular strip is -1: 2; the ratio of the width of the rectangular white stripe to the total length is 1:20...".

The colors of the coat of arms and the flag reflect the geographical and ethno-psychological characteristics of the district and its population. Blue is the color of water, representing about 30 thousand rivers flowing through the territory of the district, and more than 290 thousand lakes; green is the color of forests; white - an indicator that the district is covered with snow up to 200 days a year; gold - symbolizes the glorious past of the district, its population; red - means life, beauty, courage.

The author of the coat of arms is Yaroslav Ivanovich Levko.

The central part of the emblem is a composition of four symbols placed on a bright blue (azure) background. The background symbolizes the space of water and sky. I. Introduction

Centuries-old taiga for thousands of miles
And mighty cedars, like obelisks.
A piece of Russia with the name Ugra
Known as the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug.

Boundless friendly northern region,
Having absorbed friends both distant and close,
Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk, Yugorsk and Uray -
And all this is the Khanty-Mansiysk district.

How often do we hear a loud, sonorous word - Motherland. And what is connected with this concept, how do you understand the meaning of this word?

(The host throws the ball, and each one who catches begins the phrase with one “Motherland is ...)

That's how many associations we have when we hear the word Motherland. Now imagine (the music turns on): a familiar path leading to the river, a fluttering bird, a birch that has spread its leaves under the window, a bumblebee conjuring over a flower bud. How many pleasant impressions we keep about the miraculous beauty of nature! Isn't this the Motherland? Talented people: poets, artists - composed and wrote many poems and paintings depicting and glorifying the beauty of our Russian nature (on slides of reproductions of paintings by Russian artists about nature)

Our small homeland is the city of Khanty-Mansiysk.

RECOGNITION OF KHANTY-MANSIYSK

Dear Khanty-Mansiysk, hello,
I brought my confession:
I found love and happiness with you
With you I knew the blows of thunderstorms.

Shine of the rainbow for the first time
Here the sons were surprised.
And these shores are steep
I sang long ago in a poem.

From the Irtysh steep on a crystal day
Ages open to me:
And Menshikov's farewell glance,
And in the arrows of Yermak's planes.

Inseparable from all of Russia,
Her anxieties, her worries
You are more beautiful every year
You, my city, glory awaits.

Khanty-Mansiysk beloved, hello, -
Sacred cedars shelter,
They are in your spiritual power,
They sing about the future.

II. Coat of arms of Khanty-Mansiysk and its history.

Each city has its own state symbols. Today we will talk about the symbols of our city.

(solving a crossword puzzle with a keyword on a slide)

1) Founder of Moscow (Dolgoruky)

2) What was the hallmark of the princes? (seal)

3) Golden ball with a crown or cross (power)

4) The month when the Constitution of Russia was adopted (December)

The main symbol of any city, state - coat of arms. In Russia, as in many European countries, state emblems appeared in the Middle Ages. At the end of the 15th century, the first sovereign of united Russia, Ivan III, created a nationwide seal. A letter of 1497 brought to our time a red wax print of this seal. On it, for the first time, images of a rider slaying a dragon with a spear and an image of a double-headed eagle with crowns on its head are united and remain inseparable over the next several centuries. However, if in the 15th century both emblems act as equivalent, then already in the 16th century the double-headed eagle gains a dominant position, and in the 17th century it becomes the main emblem of the Russian state emblem. As the royal power strengthened, the images of the eagle and the rider repeatedly changed. So, in his claws, the Eagle held a cross, and a sword, and a power, and just an apple, and the Gospel, and a palm branch, and lightning, and a scepter.

And the wings were different: lowered, upturned, straightened, sharp, round ... On the head - Caesar's crowns and royal crowns, Monomakh's hats and two-tiered crowns, royal crowns and imperial crowns. (on the slides coats of arms of different times)

Thus, on its mighty wings, the two-headed Eagle held Russia until 1917. In 1917, the state of the USSR appeared, and, accordingly, the coat of arms of the USSR. (on the slides the coat of arms of the USSR and the RSFSR)

By decree of the President of Russia on November 30, 1993, a new state emblem was introduced - a double-headed eagle, the drawing of which was made according to the sketches of the coat of arms of the Russian Empire. (on the slide is an image of the coat of arms of Russia).

Crowns over the heads of the eagle are considered as symbols of the union of republics, territories, regions that make up the Russian Federation. The scepter and orb mean strong power, protection of the state and its unity. The rider on the shield on the chest of the eagle is not only an ancient symbol of the capital of Russia - Moscow, but also the personification of the victory of good over evil, the readiness of our people to defend their country from enemies.

Yaroslav Levko became the author of the modern heraldic symbol of this young Russian city. The image looks simply gorgeous on color photos, stylish and concise. All this thanks to a strict selection of elements and colors that are in harmony with each other.

Description of the coat of arms

If you read the heraldic description of the main official symbol of the city of Khanty-Mansiysk, then an uninitiated person will come across many incomprehensible words, such as bezant, shingles, folded in a star shape. This description, rich in terms, is suitable for scientific articles and reports.

An ordinary person will see very simple elements in the heraldic symbol of the city, each of which has its own deep meaning. The shield of the coat of arms of Khanty-Mansiysk has a French form, the most popular among Russian coats of arms. In fact, the shield is divided into two fields - azure, symbolizing the sky, and emerald, a color reminiscent of the endless forest wealth in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.

Besant is a figure traditional for heraldry in the form of a golden ball, symbolizing wealth and good luck, in a figurative sense - joy, warmth. This element is also present on the coat of arms of the city, however, only half of the golden ball is visible, it symbolizes not only material wealth, but is also a symbol of the sun, which gives warmth and life.

Gaunt is also a popular heraldic figure, it is just a rectangle. There are nine shingles on the coat of arms of Khanty-Mansiysk, but they are difficult to notice, since they are collected in threes, from afar they look like snowflakes. Why these symbols adorn the coat of arms of the city is understandable, since the settlement is located beyond the Urals, the winters here are quite long and snowy.

Another important character is the silver Siberian Crane, located on a green field. The bird is shown soaring upwards, with its wings wide open. The representative of the feathered kingdom, firstly, symbolizes the wealth of the local fauna, and secondly, he acts as a symbol of pristine purity.

Symbolism of flowers

There are popular heraldic colors on the city coat of arms, two of which are precious - gold and silver. The golden color is a symbol of wealth, prosperity, since the region has large oil reserves, the choice of a precious shade is quite understandable. Silver color is nobility, the desire for purity in thoughts and actions.

Two more colors, emerald and azure, are traditionally associated with the nature of the region. Azure reminds of the water resources of the region, emerald - of the taiga.
