The first bell at the pedagogical school in Zhirnovsk rang in September 1983. And for more than a quarter of a century, girls and boys have been rushing into it every day to get one of the noblest professions on earth - the profession of a teacher.
The creation of the Zhirnovsky Pedagogical School was a matter of regional significance, because. in the schools of the Volgograd region, an acute shortage of primary school teachers was revealed. In order to positively resolve this problem, the leaders of the Zhirnovsky district - the first secretary of the RK CPSU Udalov Alexander Semenovich, the chairman of the executive committee of the district Council of People's Deputies Gatsenko Ivan Stepanovich, the head of the district department of public education Solomennov Nikolai Ivanovich took the initiative to open a pedagogical school in the city of Zhirnovsk for the training of primary school teachers and educators of extended day groups, who, having received the necessary pedagogical education, could professionally train and educate students in grades 1-4.
This initiative was supported by the Volgograd Regional Committee of the CPSU and the Executive Committee of the Volgograd Regional Council of People's Deputies, who, in turn, applied with an official document to the higher authorities in Moscow.
Based on a thorough analysis of this situation and taking into account the need for a positive solution to this problem, the Minister of Education of the RSFSR G. Veselov issued an order on May 10, 1983 to open a pedagogical school in the city of Zhirnovsk. By decision of the local authorities, this new educational institution was located in the building of the former secondary school No. 1.
The formation and development of the pedagogical school took place in difficult socio-economic, political, educational and cultural conditions. However, despite all the difficulties, the educational institution survived, formed and still exists.
Moskalenko was recommended as the first director of the Pedagogical SchoolLeonid Timofeevich, who worked as the head of the propaganda and agitation department of the Zhirnovsky district committee of the CPSU and had a secondary (Arkadak Pedagogical College) and higher (Volgograd State Pedagogical Institute) pedagogical education and some work experience in the primary and senior classes of the Soviet school. Alexander Ponomarev, who previously worked as the head teacher of a school for working youth in the city of Nikolaevsk, Volgograd Region, was appointed Deputy Director for Academic Affairs.
Nina Andreevna Onipchenko began to work as a teacher of the Russian language and literature at the new school. Later, Nina Andreevna from 1989 to 2002 worked as the deputy director of the pedagogical school for educational work.
Having accumulated practical experience in teaching in schools, the first teachers to join the team were: mathematics - Saenko Raisa Vasilievna, Russian language and literature - Lyatkina Galina Viktorovna, pedagogy - Plushenko Pavel Andreevich, biology - Frolova Maria Fedorovna, physics - Shershneva Irina Valerievna, geography - Ponomareva Valentina Alexandrovna, foreign language - Tarapata Alexander Ivanovich, physical education - Sizonenko Vasily Vasilyevich, music - Shevchenko Alexander Mikhailovich, Serov Sergey Alekseevich, Borisov Boris Anatolyevich, Lukanova Nadezhda Evgenievna and others.
It was difficult to start everything from scratch, but the extraordinary enthusiasm, the desire to train competent specialists helped the team to unite and overcome all difficulties. Selfless comradely support and assistance at the beginning of the organization of the work of the pedagogical school and later was provided by the directors and teachers of the Mikhailovsky Pedagogical School (Yuri Ivanovich Sotskov), the Dubovsky Pedagogical School (Nikolay Vladimirovich Shatilov), the Volga Pedagogical School (Viktor Petrovich Lysenkov).
Since 1987, the teacher training college has been headed by Shishlyannikov Alexander Danilovich, which did a lot to strengthen the material base: new furniture, equipment, visual aids, sports equipment were purchased, and a computer room was created.
And since 1991, the educational institution was headed by Trifonova Anna Ivanovna- Excellence in Education of the RSFSR, Honorary Worker of the SPO RF. Over the years, the team, having accumulated extensive experience in work, has constantly been and is in search of active forms and methods of training, takes the initiative, and proves its high efficiency.
This wave of creativity has been actively supported since 2006 by a young, energetic director Prigodina Elena Nikolaevna.
Under her leadership, about 50 teachers work at the school, of which 5 are Honorary Workers of the SPO of the Russian Federation, 8 Excellence in Public Education, 10 were awarded Certificates of Honor from the Ministry of Education of the RSFSR and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and there is an Excellence in Physical Education and Sports. The vast majority of teachers have the highest and first qualification category.
In 1985, the first graduation of young primary school teachers and educators of extended day groups took place, which were accepted in 1983 on the basis of a tenth grade education. The graduation amounted to 86 people, of which 4 people graduated from college with honors. On the eve of its 25th anniversary, the school graduated 2,771 specialists. Of these, 231 are young men. 398 people graduated with honors, including 18 young men.
