Introduction

Anyone who wants to succeed in business must appreciate the power of habit and understand that habits are created by actions. He must easily break habits that risk breaking him, and quickly develop the habit of actions that can help achieve the desired success.

J. Paul Getty

What exactly should you expect from this book?

Dear reader (or potential reader, if you are still considering whether to spend time on this book)!

We regularly communicate with businessmen from all over the world, and you know what? Everyone has the same problems. There are three of them: little time, little money, and a lack of understanding of how to balance work and personal life.

The modern pace of life is more and more like an endless obstacle course. Stress levels rise at about the same rate. But the world and business do not need tired horses, blinkered workaholics who have lost interest in family and friends. Someone even manages to run with weights in the form of a load of guilt.

Do you know this feeling?

If yes, then The Whole Life book can help you, whether you are a company director, deputy director, supervisor, salesperson, consultant, entrepreneur, or business owner.

We guarantee that if you study and gradually implement the strategies in this book into your life, you will not just achieve professional, personal and financial goals. You will surpass your current results. We will show you how you can increase profits and grow your business while enjoying a harmonious life.

Our ideas have helped thousands of clients (and most of all ourselves), which is why we are so sure that they will work for you too. The three of us have 78 years of experience in real business, and all these years we have developed techniques, methods and approaches that have helped thousands of people reach incredible heights. On the pages of this book, we will share with you the most valuable discoveries and, avoiding muddy theories and idle talk, we will try to provide you with key tools for transforming your own life.

How to get the most out of this book

Let's just agree, there is no magic pill in this book. Moreover, in our experience, it does not exist at all. Change happens only to those who work systematically. That is why 90% of attendees of short-term seminars do not achieve anything special. They don't take the time to put what they've learned into practice, and the notes end up gathering dust on the shelf.

Our main goal is to make information so engaging that it inspires you to take immediate action. We promise that reading our book will be easy.

Each chapter consists of a variety of strategies and techniques, interspersed with instructive and inspiring real-life examples. The first three chapters are the foundation of the book, and all subsequent chapters focus on one particular good habit. These habits are essential to success in and of themselves, and together they will build a fortress for you to truly enjoy life. Each chapter ends with a guide to make your task easier. Be sure to follow these tips if you want to achieve serious results. They will be useful not only on the way to the goal, but throughout life.

...

The main reason why most people do not go well in their business and personal lives is a lack of focus.

They put things off until later and get distracted from the main thing. You have the ability to behave differently. The sole purpose of this book is to push you into action. So let's get started. May it guarantee you a better future. And let positive changes begin in your life right while reading this book.

Sincerely yours,

P.S. If you are a business owner and are looking to grow rapidly over the next few years, buy each member of your team a copy of this book. Synergy will allow you to achieve your goals much faster than you expected.

Strategy #1

Your habits determine your future

You think about something, and it seems - it is very difficult, you do it - and it turns out - it is very easy.

Robert M. Pirsig [Robert Pirsig is an American writer and philosopher. Author of the bestselling Zen and the Art of Biking, which has sold 4 million copies.]

Brent Wuori knew he was dying. A severe asthma attack caused acute respiratory failure syndrome. Simply put, the lungs failed, like an engine without oil.

...

His last memory was of the hospital floor flying towards him. And complete darkness.

The coma lasted fifteen days. During this time, he lost more than fifteen kilograms. When Brent finally woke up, he was speechless for another two weeks. And it was good, because then for the first time he had time to think. Why, in his twenties, did he feel that life had almost deserted him?

Brent thought deeply. He had asthma since birth. Every cleaner in the hospital knew him. As a child, he was overflowing with energy, but he could not play active games like hockey, like other children. When Brent was ten, his parents divorced, and all the disappointments that had been pent up for so long finally poured over the edge. And then he went downhill: drugs, alcohol, thirty cigarettes a day.

Brent didn't finish school and drifted from one temporary job to another. And although his health was gradually deteriorating, he decided not to pay attention to him. Until that fateful day when his body said enough! With time to think, he came to the infinitely important conclusion: “I am the only one to blame for what happened to me, because I made the wrong decisions for years.” Now he said to himself, “Enough is enough. I want to live a normal life."

Gradually, Brent got stronger and was discharged from the hospital. And he developed a plan to improve his life. First, he joined the gym. Brent decided that attending the first twelve classes would earn him a T-shirt. And he did it. Three years later he became an aerobics teacher. He succeeded in this as well. Five years later - participated in the national championships in aerobics. In parallel, Brent decided to get an education and graduated from school first, and then the university.

Soon, he and a friend organized a sportswear company, Typhoon Sportsware Ltd. This international network supplies Nike and other serious customers. Fifteen years ago it all started with four employees. And now it is a multi-million dollar business employing sixty-six people. That's how one right decision completely turned Brent's life around. As they say, from rags to riches.

Description: How often, after starting one thing, have you been distracted by something more interesting or simple, and as a result, abandoned it? How many times have you told yourself that you will leave work at 7 sharp to kiss your son or daughter before they go to bed, and then blame yourself for not working out this time too? And how many months did you hold out before you spent all the money set aside for a down payment on an apartment? Very often the reason for failures is just a lack of concentration, that is, the inability to direct and maintain focus on the goal. Dozens of papers have been written about the importance of goal setting. The authors of this book go one step further - they can help you make goal achievement… a habit! Then from a difficult task "focusing on the goal" will turn into a familiar, quite feasible and regular action, and the result will not be long in coming.
And along the way, you will learn about the power of our habits, understand how to cultivate new good habits and use them to improve not only work, but also personal life.

I love this quote from one successful baseball coach, Yogi Berra: “In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is. It is unlikely that when reading this book you will find something that you have never heard or thought about - some top-secret idea about achieving success.

What's more, in my training on achieving extraordinary results for both companies and individuals over the past six years, I've noticed that many of the principles of how to be "healthy, happy, and rich" are well known to people. My partners in the Business Relations company with more than 20 years of coaching experience also confirm this fact.

Why, then, are there so few “healthy, happy and rich” people around? Each of us can ask ourselves the question: “Why is there not in my life what I dream about, what I really want?”. And there can be as many answers to it as you like. Mine is outrageously short: "Because it's easier!".

Not having clear goals, eating just anything, spending leisure time watching TV, getting annoyed and angry with loved ones is EASIER than going out for a run every morning, every evening reporting to yourself on the stages of a work project and pacifying your rightness in situations of dispute at home.

But if you are not looking for easy ways and are serious about taking your life to a whole new level, this book is for you!

For me, it served as a damn strong impetus from theoretical concepts to action. The important thing that was required for this was honesty. It's about admitting that I know a lot, but I don't do much.

Another feature of this book is the feeling that it gives the reader page after page: lightness, inspiration and faith that everything will work out.

And as you start reading, remember: “In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is. The authors did not just do the tasks at the end of each chapter.

I wish you breakthrough success!

Maxim Zhurilo, Business Relations trainer
