The Educational and Methodological Center of the Faculty of Economics of St. Petersburg State University conducts advanced training for certified auditors according to programs approved by Self-Regulatory Organizations in the field of general audit and audit of stock exchanges, non-budgetary funds and investment institutions.

Advanced training is a prerequisite for auditors, since, according to the legislation of the Russian Federation, each auditor must annually take appropriate courses.

In accordance with Part 9 of Article 11 307-FZ of the Federal Law "On Auditing" on annual advanced training: "The auditor is obliged during each calendar yearstarting from the year following the year of obtaining the auditor's qualification certificate,attend advanced training programs, approved by the self-regulatory organization of auditors, of which he is a member.
