An excerpt characterizing the Taimyr (Dolgano-Nenets) Autonomous Okrug

The goal has been reached. After the last war of 1815, Alexander is at the pinnacle of possible human power. How does he use it?
Alexander I, appeaser of Europe, a man who from a young age strove only for the good of his peoples, the first instigator of liberal innovations in his fatherland, now that he seems to have the greatest power and therefore the opportunity to do the good of his peoples, while Napoleon in exile makes childish and false plans about how he would make mankind happy if he had power, Alexander I, having fulfilled his calling and feeling the hand of God on himself, suddenly recognizes the insignificance of this imaginary power, turns away from it, transfers it into the hands of those despised by him and contemptible people and only says:
“Not to us, not to us, but to your name!” I am a human too, just like you; leave me to live like a man and think about my soul and about God.

Just as the sun and each atom of the ether are a ball, complete in itself, and at the same time only an atom of the whole inaccessible to man in terms of the immensity of the whole, so each person carries his own goals in himself and meanwhile wears them in order to serve common goals inaccessible to man. .
A bee sitting on a flower stung the child. And the child is afraid of bees and says that the purpose of the bee is to sting people. The poet admires the bee, clinging to the cup of the flower, and says that the purpose of the bee is to absorb the aroma of flowers into itself. The beekeeper, noticing that the bee collects flower dust and brings it to the hive, says that the purpose of the bee is to collect honey. Another beekeeper, having studied the life of the swarm more closely, says that the bee collects dust for feeding young bees and breeding the queen, that its purpose is to procreate. The botanist notices that, flying with the dust of a dioecious flower to the pistil, the bee fertilizes it, and the botanist sees the purpose of the bee in this. Another, observing the migration of plants, sees that the bee contributes to this migration, and this new observer can say that this is the purpose of the bee. But the ultimate goal of the bee is not exhausted by either one or the other, or the third goal that the human mind is able to discover. The higher the human mind rises in discovering these goals, the more obvious for it is the inaccessibility of the final goal.
Man can only observe the correspondence between the life of a bee and other phenomena of life. The same with the goals of historical persons and peoples.

The wedding of Natasha, who married Bezukhov in 13, was the last joyful event in the old Rostov family. In the same year, Count Ilya Andreevich died, and, as always happens, the old family fell apart with his death.
The events of the last year: the fire of Moscow and the flight from it, the death of Prince Andrei and the despair of Natasha, the death of Petya, the grief of the countess - all this, like blow after blow, fell on the head of the old count. He did not seem to understand and felt himself unable to understand the significance of all these events and, morally bowing his old head, as if he expected and asked for new blows that would finish him off. He seemed now frightened and confused, then unnaturally lively and enterprising.
Natasha's wedding temporarily occupied him with its outer side. He ordered lunches and dinners and, apparently, wanted to appear cheerful; but his joy was not communicated, as before, but, on the contrary, aroused compassion in people who knew and loved him.
After Pierre and his wife left, he calmed down and began to complain of longing. A few days later he fell ill and went to bed. From the first days of his illness, despite the consolations of the doctors, he realized that he could not get up. The countess, without undressing, spent two weeks in an armchair at his head. Every time she gave him medicine, he silently kissed her hand, sobbing. On the last day, weeping, he asked for forgiveness from his wife and in absentia from his son for the ruin of the estate - the main guilt that he felt for himself. Having taken communion and having received special blessings, he died quietly, and the next day a crowd of acquaintances who had come to pay their last debt to the deceased filled the Rostovs' rented apartment. All these acquaintances, who had dined and danced with him so many times, laughed at him so many times, now all with the same feeling of inner reproach and tenderness, as if justifying themselves before someone, said: Human. You won’t meet such people today ... And who doesn’t have their weaknesses? .. ”
It was at a time when the count's affairs were so confused that it was impossible to imagine how it would all end if another year continued, he suddenly died.
Nicholas was with the Russian troops in Paris when the news of his father's death came to him. He immediately resigned and, without waiting for it, took a vacation and came to Moscow. The state of money affairs a month after the death of the count was completely outlined, surprising everyone with the enormity of the amount of various small debts, the existence of which no one suspected. There were twice as many debts as estates.

It is believed that the ancient territory of the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug began to be developed in the Neolithic period. Russian servicemen and merchants began to develop the Yenisei district, only then its territory became part of the Russian state. The formation of the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug falls on 1930, while entering the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In former times, Taimyr was part of the Yenisei province, and Irkutsk was its administrative center. The Taimyr Autonomous Okrug became a subject of the Russian Federation in 1992. And its rich history and cultural attractions attract to the territory.

Geographical position

The Taimyr Autonomous Okrug is located on the Taimyr Peninsula of the same name, as well as its extreme tip - this means several Arctic islands, Cape Chelyuskin and the north of the Central Siberian Plateau. It is noteworthy that this district is the only place in Russia that is completely outside the Arctic Circle. Also, its area is the largest district on Russian territory.

The neighbors of the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug are the Republic of Sakha from the east, the Krasnoyarsk Territory from the south, the Evenk Autonomous Okrug from the southeast, and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in the western part. In addition, the Yenisei and Khatanga bays wash the northern coast of the district.

Note that forty percent of the land of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is occupied by the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug. To calculate its total area, you need to add the territories of the Netherlands, France and Great Britain.

Natural resources

The Taimyr Autonomous Okrug is attractive because it is a poorly explored region of the Russian Federation; in total, only three percent of its territory has been explored. Various mineral resources and minerals have been discovered in its lands. Unique volumes of hard coal reserves are stored in the three largest coal basins, their total weight is 92 billion tons.

In addition, it should be noted the most beautiful forest resources of the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug, while most of it is occupied by coniferous forests, where tourists are so eager to get. After all, here you can endlessly admire the deciduous forests of birch, spruce and Dahurian larch, which are considered the northernmost on planet Earth.

local tourism

Tourists and travelers are invited to visit three nature reserves in the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug. The Great Arctic Reserve deserves special attention, where the picturesque nature allows you to get to know the local flora and fauna better. Since the transport infrastructure is improving perfectly, health-improving and tourist complexes will soon be built, which will have no analogue in the world. Therefore, foreign and domestic investors are so interested in the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug.

You should definitely visit the Taimyr Biosphere Reserve, it is noteworthy that here you can plan or book tourist routes in advance. For example, if you want to observe the Taimyr fauna, then you should go on scientific and educational tourism. True, it is worth considering the period of visit and the natural conditions of the year. The management of the reserve also offers sports tourism. In spring, small groups of tourists organize dog sled tours. Therefore, a special kennel for breeding sled dogs was created at the reserve.

During ethnographic tourism, you can see the places of residence of the nomadic peoples Dolgan and Nganasan, who lived in the eastern part of the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug.

The Taimyr (Dolgano-Nenets) Autonomous Okrug was formed on December 10, 1930. It is a subject of the Russian Federation. The capital is the city of Dudinka. The Taimyr Autonomous Okrug is the only one of the regions of Russia located completely beyond the Arctic Circle - between the 68th and 82nd parallels.

General information

The Taimyr (Dolgano-Nenets) Autonomous Okrug was formed on December 10, 1930. It is a subject of the Russian Federation. The capital is the city of Dudinka.

The Taimyr Autonomous Okrug is the only one of the regions of Russia located completely beyond the Arctic Circle - between the 68th and 82nd parallels. In the east it borders with the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), in the south with Evenkia and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in the west with the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. From the north it is washed by the waters of the Kara Sea and the Laptev Sea. The northernmost point of Eurasia is located on Taimyr - Cape Chelyuskin (770 43 "N).

The county comprises four municipalities:

Diksonsky district (the center of the township of Dikson), which includes Dikson Island and part of the Arctic coast of the Yenisei Bay;

Ust-Yenisei region (the center of the village of Karaul), its territory extends along the banks of the river. the Yenisei below Dudinka;

Khatanga region (the center of the village of Khatanga), it includes the basin of the Khatanga River and the entire north-eastern part of the district, up to the borders of Yakutia;

The city of Dudinka and the territory under the jurisdiction of the City Administration (the center of Dudinka) includes the basin of the Kheta River, a tributary of the Khatanga, and the central part of the peninsula, as well as the southern strip of forest-tundra on both banks of the Yenisei above the city of Dudinka.

There are 22 settlements on the territory of the districts. The Okrug's capital is a large sea and river port, through which the main cargo turnover is carried out and the products of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel are shipped, as well as the administrative and cultural center of the Okrug.

As of July 1, 2004, the database of the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations (USRE) included 837 economic entities located in the Okrug.

The territory of Taimyr is characterized by low population - 0.044 people per 1 sq. km. km. or 1 person per 22 sq. km.

The population as of 01.01.2004 is 39.44 thousand people. Of these, 26,111 people live in urban areas, and 13,324 in rural areas.

Harsh climate, rarefied air, high atmospheric pressure, fierce winds, polar night - 9826 people of the indigenous population live in these conditions:

Dolgan - 5510 people;

Nenets - 3054 people;

Nganasan - 766 people;

Evenkov - 299 people;

Entsev - 197 people.

Area 884.4 thousand square meters. km. The conditions of the Far North leave their own special regional imprint on the transport complex of the district. The temperature in January is -29 -35 C° on average, frosts of -45 C° -50 C° are not uncommon. Winter 8-9 months a year.

Polar night 45 days, polar day 68 days. The geographical position of the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug is characterized by a great remoteness from industrial centers and places of consumption of manufactured products, which in turn negatively affects the development of the territory. In Taimyr, there are mostly permafrost soils and tundra marshy soils.

Daily temperature fluctuations reach (-10-15 C°), strong snowstorms, poor visibility and fog prevail.

In May-June, snow melting and ice drift begin, the rise in the level in the Yenisei River is 10 -14 m from the nominal value (5.6 - 6 m).

Frequent traffic jams threaten with flooding, both coastal villages and the city. The high water level during the crescent makes it necessary to evacuate all cargo and buildings from the berths of the Dudinsk seaport, to raise portal cranes to a non-floodable (20 m) mark.

In the south of the district there is a mountain system of the Putorana Plateau and the Anabar Plateau, a large number of mountain rivers and lakes. The height of the mountains is up to 1,700 m. In the north are the mountains of Byrranga. Mostly the territory is occupied by the North Siberian lowland, which is located between these mountain ranges. The high concentration of lakes, swamps and rivers makes these places difficult to pass.

The short northern summer warms the earth by 0.5 m, but underground lenses and currents are not excluded. Sudden changes in pressure and temperature, magnetic storms and almost constant winds - all this together leaves a special imprint on our region.

A feature of the geographical location of Taimyr is the combination of the Arctic, tundra and forest tundra. The height of the snow cover in winter reaches 1.5-2 m. In spring, steep snow canyons form in the river floodplains, especially in the north of the district. At the end of August, September, autumn begins in the tundra, and in the first half of October, ice rises on rivers and lakes, and summer river navigation stops. Ice thickness at the end of December, January reaches 1.5 m.

Coat of arms and flag of the county

The emblem of the Taimyr (Dolgano-Nenets) Autonomous Okrug is an image of a red-breasted goose on a blue background, above which in the upper part of the emblem is a white disk of the sun.

The flag of the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug is derived from its emblem and on its blue cloth (2:3), as on the emblem, there is an image of a red-breasted goose (Branta ruficollis) flying to the free edge of the flag, with a red head and chest and black and white plumage, in the center of a white circle with a diameter of 1/2 of the width of the flag, from which two vertical and two horizontal narrow white rays depart.

Agriculture and trade economy of the district

67 enterprises in the district are engaged in priority types of agricultural activities - domestic reindeer breeding, hunting (catching wild reindeer, partridge, commercial furs), and fishing.

During the entire reporting period, the Okrug continued the transformation of state district agricultural enterprises of the Okrug into commercial and non-profit organizations of a private form of ownership, begun in 2003, which began in 2003.

As of October 1, 2004, the largest share in the total number of agricultural organizations is occupied by peasant (farm) enterprises, limited liability companies and production cooperatives.

For 9 months of 2004 agricultural products in the Okrug were produced in the amount of 0.2 million rubles. The index of the physical volume of agricultural production amounted to 24.8%. 12.6 tons of meat and 7.2 tons of milk were produced.

The livestock population has been fully preserved (pigs and sheep), and the increase in the number of cattle amounted to 115.4%.

43.4 thousand heads of domestic reindeer are grazed on 40.1 million hectares of pastures, including 10.0 thousand heads in agricultural state enterprises, 64 brigades are engaged in the extraction of commercial products.

In addition to reindeer meat, agricultural enterprises procure skins, skins, antlers and antlers.

Additional reindeer products are used in the souvenir and light industry, and antlers are considered valuable medical raw materials and are exported under agreements with foreign countries - Japan and Korea.

The volumes of wild reindeer meat and domestic reindeer meat can fully meet the needs of the district in this dietary and delicacy product, and in the diet of the indigenous peoples of Taimyr, venison is one of the main food products.

The Arctic is a unique region with unique natural conditions, unique flora and fauna. Three reserves have been created on the territory of the district: Arctic, Putoransky, Taimyrsky.

The largest nature reserve in Russia is the Arctic. Taimyr is inhabited by 35 species of mammals, 139 species of birds and 29 species of fish.

Taimyr is a kind of cradle of intercontinental migratory routes of birds. It is also home to the world's largest free-living population of wild reindeer. The number of wild reindeer, according to the estimates of the Research Institute of Agriculture of the Far North, is approximately 350 - 400 thousand heads.

Huge territories of rivers, lakes, reservoirs, occupying an area of more than 64.0 thousand square meters. km. abound in a variety of fish species, of which the largest share is made up of valuable species: omul, muksun, whitefish, nelma, whitefish, peled, vendace, smelt. In addition, in the basins of rivers and lakes of Taimyr, fish from the salmon family - chum salmon, lake char, grayling, red fish species - sturgeon and sterlet are caught.

The Taimyr tundra is also rich in commercial game, the northern partridge and the hare are the subject of hunting for the indigenous peoples of the North, in spring and autumn hunting for duck and goose opens.

The main enterprises of Taimyr

Dudinsk sea port

The Dudinsk Sea Port is a structural subdivision of the Polar Branch of the Norilsk Nickel Mining and Metallurgical Company OJSC. The port is necessary to ensure year-round navigation, import and export of general cargo and finished products of the world metallurgy leader of the Polar Division of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel.

The berths of the port are flooded during the spring flood, in connection with this, there is a complete evacuation of equipment and cargo to an unflooded mark of 20 m. The peak of the flood occurs on average on June 7, during the ice drift. The maximum water level was recorded in 1999 at 21.49 m. spit of the confluence of the river. Dudinka in the river. Yenisei. Berth depths from 8 to 12 m allow to receive ships with a carrying capacity of up to 17 thousand tons. Summer navigation is 130 days, from June 15 to October 20. Dudinskoye Motor Transport Enterprise

Structural subdivision of the Polar Branch of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel. The main functions are to ensure technological transportation of the Dudinsk seaport of the Polar Division of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel.

In addition to its main activity, Dudinskoye ATP occupies a dominant position in the market of transport services for the delivery of goods to the Norilsk industrial region, and also carries out intracity and intercity transportation of passengers by bus to Alykel airport and Norilsk.

JSC "Mine Kotuy"

The coal company is developing the Kayakskoye coal deposit, located in the Khatanga region, 90 km from the village. Khatanga, on the banks of the river. Kotuy. Coal mining is about 40.0 thousand tons per year.

Air transport

Carries out year-round cargo-and-passenger communications with the settlements of the district. Air transport is of paramount importance in the district. Part of the expenses in the form of a subsidy to airlines to cover losses from passenger flights on local airlines is carried out at the expense of the district budget.

The following airlines operate in Taimyr in the field of air transport: OJSC Taimyr Airlines, CJSC Alykel, State Unitary Enterprise Khatanga United Air Squadron, LLC Zapolyarye Airlines, State Unitary Enterprise Norilsk Aviation Enterprise.

CJSC "Alykel" The airport complex "Norilsk" is an airport service for aircraft arriving (departing) at the Norilsk airport. About 15 airlines operate regular passenger flights to Norilsk Airport.

"Khatanga United Air Squadron". Subsidiary of the state unitary enterprise "Norilsk Aviation Enterprise". Carries out the transportation of passengers, mail, cargo, aviation work, airport maintenance of aircraft, including transit ones.

OJSC "Airline" Taimyr ". The main activities are the transportation of passengers, mail, cargo, aviation work on Mi-8 helicopters, airport services at Dudinka, Dikson, Valek and Shushenskoye airports. OJSC "Airline" Taimyr "was established in the process of external management and on the basis of the property of the State Unitary Enterprise "Norilsk Aviation Enterprise".

State Unitary Enterprise "Norilsk Aviation Enterprise". In accordance with the plan of external management, the legislation of the Russian Federation, federal property not subject to privatization is under economic management in SUE "NAP". This property: runways, taxiways and platforms at the airports of Norilsk, Valek, Dudinka, Dikson, Shushenskoye, social facilities - housing stock of the village of Alykel and Dikson, energy facilities of the village of Dikson (boiler and diesel power plant), as well as facilities and equipment of services ATC and ERTOS airport data. Also, the working personnel of these services remained in SUE "NAP".

Airline Zapolyarye LLC. Carries out the transportation of passengers, cargo and aviation work in the region by means of An-2 and An-3 aircraft, competes with the above two enterprises - carriers. However, due to certain flight performance, operating requirements and the need in the equipped runways in the settlements of the district for aircraft, this competition is insignificant. Also, Zapolyarye Airlines LLC carries out the transportation of passengers, cargo and baggage on the routes Norilsk - Dixon - Norilsk and Norilsk - Khatanga - Norilsk, as well as outside the district on aircraft An-12, An-26, An-24.

Since March 2003, regular passenger flights have been carried out on An-3 (An-2) to the villages of Dudinskiy and Ust-Yenisei districts from Dudinka airport in winter (and since 2004 - all year round, with the exception of two months - from mid-May to mid-June and from October to November).

Rail connection

The railway connects the port of Dudinka with the Norilsk industrial region. The total length of the railway is about 110 km.

An extensive network of arrivals at the port berths, cargo storage bases and storage areas in the Norilsk industrial region.

The railway transports almost 90% of general cargo entering the region by water transport and 97% of the products exported by the Polar Division of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel to the port of Dudinka. - Norilsk railway.

Automobile communication

There is one highway of federal significance in the Okrug: Dudinka - Alykel Airport, connecting the city of Dudinka with the cities of the Norilsk industrial region. The road network has no access to the main roads of Russia.

There are no roads linking settlements, since their construction and maintenance require significant material costs. Transport communication between settlements is carried out by winter roads, the maintenance of which does not require large material costs. Transportation on such roads is carried out irregularly (December-May) and depends on weather conditions.

Connection

In January-June 2003 communication enterprises provided 585.6 thousand long-distance telephone calls, including 28.5 thousand international ones, sent telegrams - 31.7 thousand pieces.

As of July 1, 2003, the number of main telephone sets connected to the public network of organizations of the Ministry of Communications of Russia amounted to 8302 units, which is 13.0% more than as of July 1, 2002. The number of main telephones installed among the population increased by 14.6% and totals 6592 units.

Construction

In January-September 2004, the volume of work to the amount of 341.6 million rubles was performed on its own under construction contracts.

Most of the work was done by large and medium-sized organizations. Under construction contracts, the scope of work was completed in the amount of 141.9 million rubles, or 147.8% compared to the same period last year; construction and installation works worth 173.4 million rubles (199.6% against the level of the corresponding period last year) were carried out in an economic way.

In the capital of the Taimyr (Dolgano-Nenets) Autonomous Okrug, a new medical building of the district hospital with 150 beds was opened.

The Slovenian company "BIRO-71" and the Norilsk company "Energotech" were engaged in the design and construction of the structure, having vast experience in such work. The total construction period was 2 years. The five-storey district hospital is equipped with modern medical equipment. Some of the instruments, such as the sterilization unit, are unique to the area.

The total cost of the project (construction, finishing, design, purchase and installation of new equipment) amounted to over 200 million rubles. Funding was provided from the district budget.

Natural wealth of Taimyr

The natural resources of Taimyr are unique and of world importance. The largest deposits of copper-nickel ores in the world (Talnakhskoye and Oktyabrskoye) are concentrated on the territory of Taimyr, there are deposits of industrial (impact) diamonds (Udarnoye, Skalistoye) that are unique in scale, independent deposits of precious metals, apatite-magnetite ores with tantaloniobates, lead-zinc deposits, colossal reserves of solid fuels are concentrated (the total reserves of brown and hard coal are estimated at 500-700 billion tons) and many others.

More than 30 oil and gas fields have been discovered in Taimyr and adjacent territories (Messoyakhskoye, Pelyatkinskoye, Suzunskoye, Tagulskoye, Payakhskoye, Vankorskoye, etc.) and a wide range of non-metallic minerals - raw materials for construction, chemical and light industry, instrument making, as well as decorative and ornamental and jewelry stones, deposits of high-quality muscovite and phlogopite have been explored. In the eastern part of Taimyr, thick layers of rock salt are noted.

There are three deposits of fresh underground waters in the district (Talnakhskoe, Ergalakhskoe, Ambarninskoe). The Valkovskoye mineral water deposit was discovered and put into operation, which is currently used by the dispensary. And this is not a complete list of known deposits.

Mineral resource base

The basis of the mineral resource base of Taimyr is complex platinum-copper-nickel ores.

More than half of all reserves of nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum group metals in Russia are concentrated in the North Siberian nickel-bearing province within the Taimyr district.

All explored reserves are concentrated in the Norilsk industrial region. The provision of operating mining enterprises of the Norilsk industrial region with mineral resources is assessed as very good.

Here are concentrated 43% of the explored reserves of copper (from the total Russian), 71% of nickel, 98% of platinum group metals, 7% of gold. Most of the precious metals are extracted along the way during the processing of complex platinum-copper-nickel ores. This accounts for about 90% of platinum group metals and about 7% of gold from total production in Russia.

In addition, large predictable resources of precious metals, primarily platinoids, are contained in technogenic formations concentrated in dump tailings of the mining and metallurgical production of OJSC Norilsk Mining Company. There are man-made objects formed in the early period of exploitation of complex ores, in which the average content of platinum group metals is 2.5 g/t.

The predicted operational groundwater resources of the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug are 284.1 thousand m3/day. On the whole, the Dudinsk and Norilsk industrial districts, where 95% of the population lives, are provided with groundwater resources in the district; Khatanga, Ust-Yenisei and Dikson regions - not provided. The operating groundwater reserves of the district are 236.3 thousand m3/day, of which 230.0 thousand m3/day prepared for industrial development.

Fuel and energy resources

Coal. It is ubiquitous within the district and is confined to three large coal-bearing basins: Tunguska, Taimyr, Lena. The total resources of black and brown coals in them are estimated at approximately 500-700 billion tons. The resources of the Tunguska basin are estimated at 280 billion tons, including coking - 31 billion tons.

The Taimyr coal-bearing basin is less studied. The known deposits of Slobodskoye, Krestyanskoye, Syradasayskoye, Pyasinskoye (Western Taimyr) and Chernoyarskoye (Central Taimyr) have been preliminary estimated. Permian coals of Western Taimyr are characterized by high quality characteristics. Proximity to the seaport of Dikson, high quality of coal, significant reserves and resources make this area promising for the development of coking coal for export. The resources of the Taimyr coal basin are estimated at 175 billion tons, including coking 74 billion tons.

The Lena brown coal basin is represented by high-calorie brown coals suitable for gasification.

Large reserves of graphite and thermoanthracite are concentrated in the district. Within the Taimyr coal basin there is a deposit of graphite and thermoanthracite.

High quality of graphites, determined by low ash content (4-6%), low volatile content (1-3.5%), low silica content (1.7-3.3%) and high free carbon content (90-92%) , makes it possible to use them in industry as crucible and standard grades.

Forecast resources for the whole field are estimated at 250-300 million tons for each type of raw material. In addition, a number of manifestations of graphite and thermoanthracite of the same type with a total resource of about 1000 million tons have been identified in Western Taimyr.

Oil and natural gas. On the territory of the district there is one of the richest oil and gas regions (OGOs) of the Krasnoyarsk Territory - the Yenisei-Khatangskaya Khatangsko-Vilyui oil and gas province (OGP), partially - the Pur-Tazovskaya OGO of the West Siberian OGP and the North Tungusskaya OGO of the Leno-Tunguska OGP.

Within the district, 15 gas condensate, gas and oil and gas fields have been discovered. The largest of them Messoyakhskoye, Pelyatkinskoye, Deryabinskoye are located in the Ust-Yenisei region.

The Messoyakhskoye field is in operation. Gas is delivered through the gas pipeline through the city of Dudinka to the Norilsk industrial region. The field is operated (together with Soleninskoye) by the Norilskgazprom enterprise, which produces an average of 3-4 billion m3 of gas per year. A condensate processing plant with a capacity of 40-46 thousand tons of fuel operates on the basis of this gas in Dudinka.

Two large gas condensate fields, Pelyatkinskoye and Deryabinskoye, have been prepared for development.

In the north-east of the district, in the Khatanga region, on the left bank of the Khatanga Bay, small oil deposits were discovered (Nordvik, Ilinskaya and Kozhevnikovskaya).

In the south of the Ust-Yenisei and Dudinka regions on the left bank of the river. The Yenisei (110-120 km from the city of Dudinka) is the Suzun gas and oil field, also prepared for development.

Near the Suzunskoye field, seismic surveys are underway at the highly promising Pendomayakhsky area with a resource potential of 60 million tons of equivalent hydrocarbons.

On the right bank of the river The Yenisei, in its lower reaches, an oil deposit was discovered at the Payakhskoye field, where exploration work is underway to clarify its morphology and size, to assess oil reserves.

According to experts, it is the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug that in the 21st century can become Russia's main reserve for increasing oil and gas reserves on a large scale, where the main oil and gas production areas of the West Siberian oil and gas basin will gradually move.

Geology. In accordance with the current legislation in the field of environmental protection, during the reporting period, 19 agreements were prepared and concluded between the Okrug Administration and water users for the use of surface water bodies.

In January-September 2004, work started in 2003 in the field of subsoil use on processing large-scale satellite imagery materials, the purpose of which is to identify areas promising for hydrocarbon raw materials, was continued. Another important direction of these works is the replenishment of the database of multispectral satellite imagery for reference objects and the creation of their remote bases.

A comprehensive airborne geophysical survey was carried out on an area of 10,000 sq. m. km, as a result of which the initial data were obtained for constructing structural-tectonic schemes of the basement and thickness of the Meso-Cenozoic deposits. The results of airborne geophysical work will make it possible to identify areas promising for oil and gas.

As a result of seismic exploration in the northwestern part of the Siberian platform, a large oil and gas prospective structure, the Severo-Pyasinsky swell, was identified.

Work continued on a set of ground geological and geophysical methods to assess the oil and gas potential of promising areas. A complex of geophysical and geochemical methods was carried out. For the first time in Russia, within the framework of the project, geochemical studies were carried out using the GORE-SORBER method with the involvement of CJSC "Coordinating Center" ROSGEOPHYSICS "(St. Petersburg) and the international corporation" WL Gore & Associated Inc. "(Germany).

As part of the revision and appraisal work for hydrocarbon raw materials (oil) in East Taimyr, an assessment of the resource potential of East Taimyr for oil, development of a strategy for regional work for oil in the near future, preparation of the territory for parametric and exploratory drilling, assessment of economic risks in the development of the Nordvinskoye oil field .

All work was carried out with supervisory support, which ensures quality control of field materials when new data on the geological structure and oil and gas potential of the district are obtained.

Work continues on the creation of the geoinformation system "Natural Resources". For 9 months of 2004, databases on deposits (fuel and energy resources and solid minerals), a stratigraphic and paleontological database, as well as a database of stock literature on the geology of the Okrug territory were created.

Trading Opportunities

On the territory of the district, coal is mined for the needs of enterprises and the population of the Khatanga region. The volumes of manufactured industrial and agricultural products are insignificant and are sold on the domestic market of the region.

Permanent foreign economic activity is carried out by OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel, whose turnover in the volume of exports is more than 99%.

The main foreign economic activity of the joint-stock company is aimed at export, through the export of metals through the Dudinsk seaport, to far-abroad countries.

Former districts of the abolished Taimyr (Dolgano-Nenets) Autonomous Okrug:

Avamsky district Diksonsky district Dudinsky district Ust-Yeniseisky district Khatanga district

Taimyr Autonomous Okrug existed until 2007; from January 1, 2007 - Taymyrsky Dolgano-Nenetsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Taimyr Autonomous Okrug- one of the subjects of Russia, which is located beyond the Arctic Circle. The territory of the district is washed by the Laptev Sea and the Red Sea. There is the northernmost point of Russia - Cape Chelyuskin.

The county seat is the city Dudinka, whose population is only 32 thousand people. Such large rivers of Russia as the Yenisei and Khatanga flow through the territory of this region.

The climate of the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug arctic and very severe. The average temperature in summer is from +2 to +13, and in winter - - 30 C. Therefore, for a long time the Taimyr district was uninhabited.

The fauna of the district is especially diverse. The rarest species of predators and mammals live there - reindeer, polar bear, wolverine, sable, etc. In the waters of the seas that wash the shores of the district, you can see sea hares, walruses and seals.
