The mood color is blue. Color therapy is an easy way to improve your health

Color therapy is a method of color treatment that has become very popular today. Even in ancient times, it was believed that exposure to color is not only capable of restoring peace of mind, but is also a serious healing factor for numerous physical ailments. Color therapy was born in antiquity.

Color was treated in Egypt, China, India, Persia. The history of color therapy began at the moment when people noticed the healing power of sunlight. It soon became clear that the individual colors of the rainbow also affect the human body - soothe, heal, or, conversely, cause discomfort. According to surviving evidence, even Queen Nefertiti used multi-colored cosmetic oils, believing that red and green shades would have a beneficial effect on her beauty.

Color is light, without which our existence is unthinkable. We perceive color primarily through our eyes, but unconsciously we absorb it through our skin, muscles, and even bones.

Color, penetrating in this way into our body, causes certain biochemical reactions in tissues, stimulates important glands, including the pituitary gland. This gland generates hormones that control body functions: sleep, sexual arousal, metabolism, appetite. Influencing our body, color can become its healer. The science of healing with color is called color therapy.

Color therapy is quite popular these days. The human brain perceives color in the same way that the stomach perceives food. Thus, just as we sometimes crave a certain food, our body sometimes needs a particular color. Moreover, color therapy for a person is completely safe, while taking synthetic drugs is usually accompanied by many side and undesirable effects.

In the 21st century, color therapy is beneficially used in the treatment of stress conditions, headaches, sleep disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome and the rehabilitation of people with psychological problems.

In addition, color treatment has a good effect on the condition and appearance of the skin, and also has excellent cleansing and immunostimulating properties, helping to restore a person's condition and appearance. We must always have vitality (or nervous energy) in reserve to cope not only with “bad weather”, but also with our own fears, jealousies, resentments. Today we will learn to accumulate additional energy in our physical body.

We have the bases of energy centers (the so-called chakras) inside our spine, and the vortices of these centers go beyond the physical body. Chakras are both pumps of energies of different colors, and a kind of accumulators of these energies. Energy can also be accumulated and stored in the chakras. You should have a lot of energies of all colors of the rainbow:

1st chakra - coccyx - red,
2nd chakra - lower back - orange,
3rd chakra - solar plexus - yellow,
4th chakra - center of the chest - green,
5th chakra - throat - blue,
6th chakra - forehead - blue,
7th chakra - crown - purple.

How to take any energy from the air and fill it with energy centers? This can be done with the help of your attention, imagination and breathing. Enter a state of humility, send a smile to the whole world, read a prayer - this is your protection and a guarantee of a set of pure energies.

Take a comfortable position (sitting or lying down in a quiet room with fresh air). First, imagine red energy around you, inhale, as you exhale, mentally place red energy in the coccyx area. Some may feel heat in the coccyx, others will not feel anything - it doesn't matter, everyone has their own sensitivity (sensitivity).

color therapy(color treatment) is the use of color to eliminate an ailment and to heal the body. It has been proven that color can cause physiological changes in the cells of the body. More on wikipedia.

We live in a world of light and color. Sunlight contains all colors, i.e. all color vibrations perceived by the eye. However, color is perceived not only through the eyes, but also through the skin. Since the skin has a certain transparency, one or another color of the light flux has a different penetration depth and, accordingly, causes different biochemical reactions; This is important for various diseases. That is, it is already a form of therapy.

Can color heal? Listen to a short lecture by Viktor Fedotov, a doctor who uses color therapy in his practice.

A little history about color therapy

Color therapy as a method of treatment was used in ancient Egypt, India, China, in Russia and in many countries of the world. For example, Chinese doctors used yellow to treat the stomach, and scarlet fever patients were advised to wear red scarves. Similarly, with scarlet fever, our great-grandfathers-Slavs acted. Also, our ancestors believed that in order for jaundice to pass, it is necessary to wear “golden” beads. In the writings of the famous Persian philosopher and physician Ibn Sina, known in Europe under the name Avicenna, we find a mention that a bleeding patient should not look at red, but should stop looking at blue, which has sedative properties. History knows many such examples. But color therapy began to take shape in a separate area of science, studying the healing properties of flowers, only in the 19th century, when the English scientists D. Down and G. Blunt proved that ultraviolet radiation has healing properties and can be used to treat skin diseases and rickets. Since then, the method of color treatment has become so popular that today it is often used in medical practice to combat serious diseases and speedy recovery.

The meaning of color in color therapy

White- carries a positive charge of good and good luck. Color gives strength, energy, evens out mood and heals from ailments. It has a therapeutic effect on the central nervous system and helps to cleanse the body of toxins.

Red- radiates heat, has a stimulating effect on the nervous system. It improves metabolic processes in the body, accelerates blood circulation, normalizes low blood pressure, cardiac activity and improves immunity. It is used to treat chicken pox, scarlet fever, measles, festering wounds and dermatological diseases. An excess of color can cause overexcitation, headache, fatigue and redness of the eyes. Color is contraindicated in obese, irritable and easily excitable people.

Orange- helps to liberate and free oneself from internal contradictions. Promotes tolerant attitude towards others, strengthens the will. Color rejuvenates, helps to restore nervous and muscle tissue. Used to treat diseases of the genitourinary system, spleen, improves digestion, regulates metabolic processes and affects the functioning of the endocrine glands.

Yellow- stimulates vision and nervous system, tones, improves mental and logical abilities, inspires a sense of optimism. Color is useful in violation of the liver, stimulates bile secretion, treats skin diseases, saves from insomnia and stimulates appetite.

Green- soothes, soothes, renews. Color normalizes the activity of the cardiovascular system, calms a strong heartbeat, stabilizes blood pressure and the functions of the nervous system. It is used in the treatment of headaches, eye fatigue, visual impairment.

Blue- valued for its calming effect on the psyche: it has a positive effect on melancholy, hypochondria and hysteria. It has a hypnotic effect, helps in the fight against infections and fevers, spasms and headaches.

Violet- soothes the nervous system, it can be used for mental and nervous disorders. Color helps with various inflammatory diseases, helps with migraines, normalizes the state of the lymphatic system. Favorable for the spiritual development of a person, in creative people it increases efficiency. The duration of the influence of color can cause a state of melancholy and depression.

A short lecture by Viktor Fedotov on the effectiveness of color therapy

Text version of the lecture:

Jan Trish: Victor, a question about color therapy. Now there are many companies that produce various devices - glasses, external color irradiators. I wanted to ask: how effective is the method of color therapy itself, and do you use it now in your practice?

Victor Fedotov: A person perceives more than 80% of energy and information with his eyes, hence it is clear that visual forms, colors affect extremely seriously the susceptibility of the body and health. There is a diagnostic method - iridology. We are talking about the fact that the eye is an integral organ in relation to the totality of organs and systems of the body as a whole. The eye, the iris are a map of our body, there is a representation of all organs and systems. Since the spectra of these organs and systems are absolutely different, the spectrum of action must also be different. But: some organs are healthy, while others are sick. Therefore, if we take a diseased organ and, knowing the vibration frequency of a healthy one, add the visible light spectrum of this healthy organ of the same vibration frequency, then, of course, we will make a healing effect on this organ through the eyes. This is one way and a method that is used, including myself.

There is another way - a psycho-emotional response to an image contemplated by a person. Psycho-emotional response rebuilds the entire psychokinetic machine of a person and the bioenergetic, bioinformational component, rebuilds the state of the soul, mind, spirit and physical body in the aggregate, i.e. causes certain shifts in biochemistry, energy, etc. It is possible to evoke negative memories, for example, experiences in the past in life, to cause a state of new negative experiences - all this is used in the methods of psychocorrection in order to obtain a certain healing effect. Because a re-experienced event from memories leads to a weakening of the psycho-emotional reaction to this memory, and the negative program that could be fixed in our subconscious, the so-called repressed pattern, is weakened. It exists at the information-energetic level, causes certain changes in physiology and causes diseases of a certain type. There are serious diseases and non-serious ones, but the fact remains: if you do not remove this experience fixed in the subconscious (namely, the negative experience gained in life), years later you will get a very serious health disorder and a reduction in life expectancy. And the quality of life for such a person will be significantly low.

In order to heal, one must call to life, how to revive the perception of the situation once experienced, and already at the level of a new consciousness (years later, a person’s consciousness is already different) to perceive the situation in a different way. This experience in a different way - in a more positive reaction - is a healing moment. Then, having experienced this, the person in his memories no longer reacts so violently and does not experience it, and re-traumatization does not occur. With memories, repeated homeopathic traumatization occurs, which leads to a weakening of the main negative pattern - it is based on this. And this happens through color perception, through the eye.

The next point: there is simply light therapy, there is color light therapy - this is a color that is obtained and transmitted with the help of light. For this, filters of different colors are used, but best of all - laser radiation, which is formed of the same quality according to the color gamut that is used in color therapy - this is the so-called laser therapy. It is applied both through the eye and bodily. It turns out that color can be directed not only into the eyes, but with the help of light, color can be directed to biologically active points, biologically active zones - skin zones of active perception of the color flow. Since our skin has a certain transparency, one or another color of the light flux has a different penetration depth and, accordingly, causes different biochemical reactions; This is important for various diseases. That is, it is already a form of therapy.

How effective it is, and how much you can rely on it in the treatment of serious diseases, I can say this: I practically do not use this method for the treatment of serious diseases. Then - for prevention, for rehabilitation - these methods are quite suitable. I use the information signal received from the emitted structure of the light flux of a certain color. Namely: the luminous flux of one color or another has its own structure - noise structures, and this noise structure in the form of a control signal, if it is transmitted to the body, the body responds to this signal as if a person was affected by the light of this color. This led to the fact that I simply replaced the spectra with information signals for these spectra. And, when necessary, I supplement the signal structure that I form to correct certain processes in the body with light-color information (or, in other words, signal) structures that indicate the color structure of this light.

There is just color. When a person looks at a particular color, his body parameters - physiological, electrical and electromagnetic - change. And in what direction they are changing, we are looking. If I see a manifestation of a disease of a certain type and then I suggest looking at one or another color and I see a positive reaction, then it’s enough for me to recommend that a person put on underwear of a certain color and a very strong effect is already obtained. It happens that with some urological diseases it is enough just to put on underwear of one or another range, and the disease disappears after a few months. At least, it immediately stops its development - it is blocked, and then retreats after some time due to the normally working physiology of the body; disappears this disease as if useless. And only with the use of a certain color of underwear.

Color therapy is a fairly good complementary therapy that I use. However, I try not to use red and infrared radiation. The reason is very simple: this color flux is very unstable, it is extremely easily modulated by any noise in the surrounding space, including the noise created by the thinking of a particular patient. For example: he thinks some negative ideas in his head - they immediately deform the light flux, transferring this information to the body as a program for action - this is not safe! Some careless thoughts of mine, or someone turned on the TV, someone is talking on a cell phone nearby ... all this is carried by the light flux of this color. Therefore, I try not to use these spectra; only for special works where this type of color is directly needed.

How efficient is everything? You can judge this topic if you look at how often I use it. I use these methods no more than once a year. From here, draw conclusions about how much it makes sense to do this professionally and for a long time. The number of diseases, their complexity and depth are so serious in people that I use this only in some cases where other methods are not enough; as an additional method.

“No pills help me anymore! Whatever I tried, both foreign and domestic ... It would be great if there was a simple and effective remedy for my sores! ' said an old friend of mine. And I told her: “So, there is it - color treatment! I've been using it myself lately.

To be honest, with some distrust and a surprised look of a skeptic, she looked at me and said: “Come on, it can’t be! Is it that simple?

Yes Yes exactly …. Everything ingenious is really simple!

Why does the blue sea soothe us, and the green landscapes please the eye? Why does red color cause internal excitability and anxiety, while white creates a feeling of confidence? It turned out that Perceiving colors, our brain reacts differently to them, which means that it gives different commands to all organs.

Treatment in blue

Great power lies in every color, and we are not talking about self-hypnosis here, but about the effect of shades on the human body. And if so, then flowers can not only evoke feelings and emotions, but also treat. And such color treatment already has scientific justification.

The opinion of scientists about the power of color

Johann Goethe - German philosopher and educator, scientist and statesman, thinker and poet, in The Teaching about Colors, he talked about how a person, having settled in a room of a certain color, can identify himself with him.

“In order to perfectly know the color, you need to completely immerse yourself in it: for example, settle in a “colored” room or every now and then look at the world through colored glass. Only in this case a person will begin to identify himself with the color!” Johann Goethe

In medical practice, the method of filling a person with color is often used when they are placed in a colorful room.

For example, red room helps to bring a person into an excited state, blue- calms the mind. It is curious that even blind people feel the effects of different colors on themselves. Most likely, the color interacts ... with the skin, and, vibrating, transmits certain signals to the human brain.

Color therapy is increasingly included in therapeutic complexes to combat diseases of various internal organs.

In psychiatry, color treatment is used to improve the state of mind.

So, red color treatment helps with depression: in the red room, a person receives a charge of vivacity and positive, returning to normal life.

Patients with nervous disorders, who are in a very excited state, are placed in blue rooms which has a positive effect on their mental health.

Treatment with yellow helps with bulimia: the forces of the body are activated, which cause a healthy appetite. Have you noticed that many places where you can taste various dishes often have yellow color in whole or in part in the interior.

Although theories of the influence of color on the character and health of a person for many years, so far not many regularities have been identified. Therefore, scientists are conducting more and more research in this direction. Periodically, discoveries are made in the field of color therapy. So, Niels Rübegr Finsen in 1893 effectively treated tuberculosis of the skin (lupus) with ultraviolet rays.

It has been experimentally established that the red color improves blood circulation and causes vasodilation. Blue color can constrict blood vessels, cause blood outflow and loss of skin sensitivity.

Ancient medicine and miraculous healing with color

People have long understood that with the help of color, many diseases can be cured. With scarlet fever and skin problems, patients were wrapped in a red sheet. It was believed that the blue color repels flies and other insects. That is why window frames used to be painted blue. For the same reason, the barn was also made blue so that the animals suffered less from flies.

In the south of France, where I live, indeed, the window frames in the kitchen were painted blue or green ... the flies can not stand these shades of color! How to explain this, because flies hardly distinguish colors? This is direct confirmation that color has a certain effect, a certain energy. By the way, color can both heal and make a person sick ...

Blue window frames and shutters keep flies away

Each person can test the effect of flowers on himself. If you blindfold and direct multi-colored rays to the face and neck, the reaction of the body will be immediate. It turns out that the color red makes you move your hands. Check it out for yourself and see the incredible…

The ancient Roman scientist Claudius Galen, who lived in 129-199, believed that the human body is dependent on the liquid that prevails in the human character. The predominance of one of them in the body forms the character. Melancholic and black bile rules, choleric- yellow, phlegmatic personalities are ruled by mucus, and blood is the prerogative sanguine people. It is on this that a person’s sympathy for certain colors depends. People with a cold-blooded phlegmatic character like green, choleric people love red, and melancholic people love blue.

Oriental doctors are sure that colors affect the aura. For example, white enhances it.

And what do scientists say about color treatment today?

Indian doctor Hadiali, MD from New Jersey, published a book in which he described in detail the effects of various colors on the human body. Red, orange and yellow he calls the rays of growth. Also notes that blue, purple and green lead to growth retardation.

Hadiali described the healing properties of each shade:

The chromotherapist Wölfle has successfully used colors in the treatment of many diseases. German therapists use light-emitting devices in their practice along with medications. Color and sound therapy have a noticeable effect and are popular all over the world.

Perspectives of color therapy

Unfortunately, today color therapy treatment is little used in official medicine, except for relaxation and alleviation of psychological conditions. But leading doctors are actively using its capabilities in combination with traditional drugs.

Studying the phenomenon takes time. The most difficult thing is to identify persistent patterns. However, it is already known that color therapy harmonizes the work of the left and right hemispheres, and that is why there are marked improvements in the condition of people with mental disorders.

And in combination with, gives stunning results. Personally checked by me, it works flawlessly for the whole body!

The beneficial effect of flowers on the human body

While the power of color is still being studied, its existence is undeniable.
Color heals, creates mood, and even influences our decisions! Stay healthy and enjoy the color!

One of the methods of non-traditional therapy is color therapy, which is based on the method of exposure to color radiation on the human body for the treatment of various diseases. Since ancient times, this method of treatment has been successfully used for the treatment of nervous stress, immunity disorders, and some internal diseases. Medical scientists suggest that the human brain perceives different colors in the same way that food is perceived by the stomach.

It was found that different colors stimulate biochemical reactions that normalize the function of the endocrine glands, and also have a stimulating effect on hormone-producing areas of the brain (pituitary gland). That is, a person's health can be determined by the spectrum that surrounds him. Today, the most famous scientist studying the effect of colors on a person is the Swiss Max Luscher.

Color therapy for stress relief

Today's world is full of stresses and challenges that we face on a daily basis. The more natural is the desire of any person to find a way to resist the negative effects of the environment. Stress is a pronounced psycho-emotional stress that an individual experiences under the influence of external stimuli, and color therapy (or chromotherapy) is successfully used to combat this condition. The therapeutic effect is the radiation of various shades.

Color therapy for stress relief is great for patients who often go through such situations. But it must be borne in mind that long-term and severe depression cannot be cured without the help of a specialist; chromotherapy alone is not enough in such cases.

There are a few things to consider before starting treatment. The first - for hypertensive patients and in inflammatory processes, red tone is not used, blue is not used for hypotensive patients, and green and its shades are used for oncopathology. The second - in the treatment of stress, black is used only in combination with others. Third - you can not use one color in therapy for a long time.

For color therapy, both colored lamps and simple lamps with multi-colored filters, as well as glasses with colored glasses are used. Recently, color aroma baths have been used with great success, in which color therapy is combined with aromatherapy, which increases the effectiveness of treatment. Such procedures are very pleasant and perfectly relax. For baths, colored salt is used, the water temperature should be comfortable. In the first half of the day, invigorating warm colors are used, in the second - cold.

Color therapy for stress relief

In color therapy, to get rid of stress, the main role is played by color. In everyday stress prevention, the use of blue is recommended, which has an excellent relaxing effect, eliminates stiffness, calms, helps to concentrate and increases stress resistance. For those who work behind a monitor screen, we recommend using a blue desktop screensaver or using a blue mouse pad.

For business matters, one of the best colors is black. It gives rigor and sets people to work, so it is often used at business meetings.

If there are problems in relations between colleagues or there is a feeling of self-doubt, use green shades in clothes. This color is able to give determination, improve immunity, invigorate. Shades of orange are used to improve mood, bring bright colors to gray everyday life, as it is the color of solar energy, which gives the joy of life. Purple color will help to cope with anger and short temper. A pink color scheme will help reduce aggressiveness and get rid of insomnia, therefore, if you have problems with sleep, it is recommended to decorate the bedroom in pink tones. The red color will help get rid of a headache, which improves the production of adrenaline and, thereby, improves blood circulation.

Color therapy for children

The role of flowers in a child's life is huge. They can not only soothe, but also excite, and sometimes frighten the baby. Through colors, you can understand the child's character, anxieties and experiences of the child. Already from birth, the child distinguishes all colors and color therapy for children is based on the effect of light photons that they have on the baby's brain. This method is used to eliminate apathetic states, aggressiveness, disinhibition.

At the age of one, children prefer yellow-green colors, so the color of their toys should be calm, solid. At the age of 2-3 years, a maximum of four different colors are allowed, and by the age of six, children begin to prefer bright shades.

Colors such as red, orange, yellow are active, exciting colors. And green, pink, blue, white are passive, soothing. Brown, lilac, violet increase anxiety, cause a feeling of melancholy and sadness. Therefore, the choice of the color of the toy must be approached deliberately. The number of toys of exciting colors should be limited.
Similar rules apply when choosing the color of clothing. Monochromatic calm tones are preferred.

If a child defines a favorite color as yellow, green, red, then this indicates proper development. Such a baby is inquisitive and mobile. If preference is given to black and white, then such a baby is closed and unsociable.

Color therapy for kindergarten

Color therapy for kindergarten has very wide possibilities, where educators and psychologists have available ways to identify not only certain psychological traits of each child, but also the possibility of timely correction of identified problems. Thanks to the harmonious atmosphere that is created by color therapy, children show interest in classes and react to them very emotionally.

With the help of a palette of colors, it is possible to identify fears, an increased level of anxiety, low self-esteem, self-doubt. This is evidenced by the choice of dark colors by the child. A black color can also talk about a decrease in vision, and at the age of about 3 years, protest. In older children, a preference for dark colors indicates the presence of certain problems.
According to researchers, with the help of chromotherapy, psychological help for babies is the most natural, gentle methods of correction.

Meaning of colors

In children's color therapy, the meaning of colors is similar - the green scale is good for overwork, nervous tension, but an excess of green causes headaches and longing. The use of purple, blue, blue color palette is used to calm, reduce anxiety, anxiety, and relieve pain. Orange and yellow colors help well if the child cannot calm down for a long time on his own. For therapy, the necessary colors are used in the design of the children's room, in the selection of toys, etc.

Color therapy treatment

The energy impact of different colors on a person is due to the fact that each color corresponds to a certain wavelength and amount of energy, which can either increase or decrease the human energy potential. Treatment with color therapy is by no means a panacea, but it is quite possible to use it as an additional method of treatment.

Chromotherapy helps to improve the emotional and physiological state by stimulating the pituitary and pineal glands, which produce hormones that affect many functions of the body. Related to this are the recommendations of scientists when choosing clothes to take into account the influence of color on a person and select a certain tone for a specific purpose.

The colors of the red palette have an antidepressant effect, stimulate metabolism, increase blood pressure, appetite, immunity, performance, improve brain activity and vision. These colors are not used for hypertension and obesity; in these cases, exposure to pink is recommended, which has a calming effect and improves mood, creating a romantic atmosphere.

Orange color will help get rid of fatigue, constipation, allergies, improve appetite, get a sense of joy. At the same time, purple will contribute to the development of intuition, increase attention, it will relieve irritation, relieve anemia, obesity, and insomnia. Yellow tones have a mild tonic effect and are used for muscle spasms, epilepsy, diabetes, gallstones, impotence.

Green color will help to increase resistance to stress, improve immunity, and relieve pain, which is a source of energy for restoring health. Blue and blue colors are used for depression, inflammation, toothache, joint diseases, migraines, hypertension, thyroid and lung diseases.

The history of color therapy began at the moment when people noticed the healing power of sunlight. It soon became clear that individual rainbows also affect the human body - they soothe, heal, or, conversely, cause discomfort. According to surviving evidence, even Queen Nefertiti used multi-colored cosmetic oils, believing that red and green shades would have a beneficial effect on her beauty.

In China, India and Persia, somatic diseases were treated with color. Nowadays, even official medicine recognizes the method of color therapy.
It has already been proven that it can be used to increase immunity, regulate hormonal levels, activate the synthesis of vitamin D, which is responsible for calcium deposition in bone tissue. According to some experts, color affects the body more than chemicals, and even cancer can be cured with it.
However, whether this is so is a moot point. But if you are healthy, but found yourself in a stressful or conflict situation, color therapy techniques may come in handy.
If a new stage begins in your life - you enter a university or get a job - surround yourself with yellow objects. This will help you overcome self-doubt and be more accepting of new ideas.
Yellow helps with exams when you need the utmost concentration and the ability to memorize large amounts of text. Yellow color gives inspiration to people of creative professions.
Orange is commonly referred to as the color of the sun. It will restore your tired body after a hard day's work, give a feeling of warmth and comfort in the house.

If you are tormented by doubts, then your color is blue. In the East, it symbolizes truth and peace. The blue color will help you clear your mind of unnecessary thoughts, and will calm you if you become anxious.
Use blue shades when decorating an apartment - and you yourself will notice that scandals in the family have practically ceased. In the blue bedroom you will no longer be tormented by insomnia.
Trouble brought you to a nervous breakdown? Red can give you a sense of security. It is traditionally considered the color of a leader.
A red suit will instantly make you the center of attention in any company. You can be sure that your words will be heeded. But since it is very exciting, it must be handled with care.
A red blouse will give you a sense of self-confidence, but you should not paste over your room with scarlet wallpaper - this is fraught with outbreaks of aggression and even hypertensive crises.
Red is the most appropriate in the kitchen, because, among other things, it stimulates the appetite, but it absolutely does not belong in the bedroom.

Green color is appropriate in any situation. It is the color of natural harmony. It calms the nerves and is also good for the eyes. In addition, there is a theory that it attracts financial well-being (it is no coincidence that when the word "green" many people associate "dollars").
Blue color has the ability to eliminate fears, even those that you yourself have not yet realized. However, experts note its negative impact on people with low blood pressure.
Purple is a great stress reliever. In addition, it helps to find a way out of a creative crisis and relieve nervous overexcitation.

Home color therapy

What colors do you prefer? Gray clothes or brown upholstered furniture? Do you think that you are guided only by your own taste or fashion requirements? It turns out that color preferences dictate to you ... your own body!
Addiction to a particular color, according to psychologists, can tell a lot about a person's character. For example, it is believed that phlegmatic people most often prefer white shades, melancholic - black, sanguine - red, and choleric - yellow. However, scientists say: color affects not only the psyche, but also human physiology.

Our body consists of vibrating particles, which are characterized by various electromagnetic vibrations. Color is a light vibration that has a specific wavelength. For each organ, you can select the color under the influence of which it functions best. It is no coincidence that even in ancient times, Chinese healers associated the insides of a person with various shades. According to their ideas, our liver is light green, the heart, as expected, is red, the lungs are white, and the spleen and pancreas are yellow. If the energy balance is disturbed, which, as Eastern doctors assure, is one of the causes of any disease, the organs change their color vibration and acquire shades that were not characteristic of them before. Sometimes it is visible even to the naked eye. So, with a tendency to form blood clots, the blood darkens, and with anemia, on the contrary, it acquires a light pink hue. Depending on the disease, the color of bile also changes: from olive to dark brown or green. In ancient China, it was believed: it is worth returning the original color to a diseased organ - and health will quickly recover.

Red - most actively affects a person, awakens his physical energy, love of life. It normalizes blood circulation, increases the level of hemoglobin, helps with menstrual irregularities, stimulates sexual activity. But at high temperatures and inflammatory processes in the body, red tones can only do harm.

Orange - source of vital energy. It restores nervous and muscular tissue, improves the functions of the spleen and pancreas, strengthens the respiratory system, and is useful for asthma and chronic bronchitis. It treats diseases associated with disorders in the urogenital area, improves skin color. Orange gamma is an excellent tool to combat depression. helps with a breakdown, internal stiffness, improves performance.

The color of the sun stimulates the brain, cleanses the digestive organs, liver, skin, prevents stagnation of bile, restores mineral reserves, and, if necessary, reduces acidity. If you have stomach problems, depression or general lethargy, buy amber beads, hang canary yellow curtains in the kitchen and enjoy life again!

Green considered a symbol of rebirth and peace. No wonder a walk through the green forest is one of the best ways to relax. This color normalizes the functioning of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, helps with arrhythmias, stabilizes blood pressure, improves vision. Green will relieve headaches and other symptoms of colds. In addition, this "color of life" has a refreshing, antiseptic and antimicrobial effect on the body.

Blue color has a hypnotic effect, soothes. True, an excess of its shades can cause depression. Sky blue is used in the treatment of colds and infectious diseases. It has a positive effect on the respiratory system, prevents the occurrence of glaucoma and cataracts. Eliminates hallucinations, stops the development of senile dementia, regulates the activity of the thyroid gland. In addition, the blue color pacifies the appetite. Dreaming of losing weight? Then eat and drink from the blue bowl!

Violet - the most passive color. It helps with mental disorders, neuralgia, insomnia, diseases of the kidneys, urinary and gall bladders. Useful for the cardiovascular system, reduces fever and relieves pain.

Practical application of the healing properties of color. Specialists in color therapy advise: wear clothes and jewelry of a certain color, carefully select the color scheme in the interior, or simply periodically examine an object of a shade that is “useful” for you for a long time.

In Egyptian temples, archaeologists have discovered rooms whose design forced the sun's rays to refract into one or another color of the spectrum. Egyptian doctors, as if bathing the patient in healing streams of healing rays.
Modern scientists believe that it is one of the most promising and reliable methods of treatment and recovery. The era of chemotherapy drugs will be a thing of the past. A number of scientists argue that modern chemotherapy is a road to nowhere.
Our brain, scientists believe, perceives color in the same way as the stomach perceives food. And just as we sometimes crave a particular food, our body also needs a particular color at times. At the same time, it is clear that "pills" are completely safe for a person, while taking conventional tablets - synthetic drugs - can be accompanied by many side and undesirable effects.
So, which ones and how do they affect us.
Red increases internal energy, libido (sexuality) and sexuality, helps to activate hematopoiesis, normalize blood circulation and metabolism.
Orange helps to overcome fatigue, blues, depression, insecurity, anxiety and fear.
Yellow increases concentration, improves mood and memory. Its influence is very beneficial in violations of the liver.

Green promotes the rhythmic work of the heart, rests the eyes, has a moderate anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect, is useful for reduced kidney function, dizziness, and nervousness.
Blue calms, improves immunity, relieves inflammation and burning sensation, for example, with sunburn, and has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the thyroid gland.
Blue helps with insomnia, causes a feeling of comfort and peace, relieves tension, lowers blood pressure, and calms breathing. Specialists in color therapy especially recommend the blue color to women with menstrual irregularities and during menopause.
Violet enhances intuition, normalizes the state of the lymphatic system, helps with migraines

On the mechanism of color therapy: the impact of different colors on the psyche and physical condition of a person.

Every hunter wants to know where the pheasant is sitting. Color magic.

"Wait for me and I'll be back, just wait a lot.
Wait for the yellow rains to make you sad..."

Frankly, I never thought about why in this poem by Konstantin Simonov, which has become a textbook, the rains are ... yellow? Why did the poet choose this particular color from the entire palette of colors? It seems to me that I understood this when a weeping friend came to me with an insult to her lover, who gave her a luxurious bouquet of roses. What's wrong with that, I couldn't figure it out. So after all, roses are y-yellow, sobbed a friend. Well, of course, as I didn’t immediately guess, because yellow is the color of separation, betrayal. Or rather, change.
It is ridiculous to assume that the poet, seized by a rush of inspiration, suddenly began to study the symbolic meanings of colors. What, they say, there shade symbolizes separation? Of course not! He just felt that way. He just knew it. And millions of readers feel the same way, and that's why it doesn't hurt our ears, you see, it's still a strange definition of rain. What does this or that color mean?
At school, we diligently copied these interpretations into albums next to romantic poems. But it turns out that they were not invented by anyone, but rather ... open? After all, no one invented that red, yellow, orange colors are “warm”, and blue, purple are “cold”. We just feel that way. Therefore, we are not surprised that Green's sails are scarlet, Maeterlinck's bird is blue, the cardinal standing behind the monarch's back is gray, and the blood of aristocrats is blue. We can give dozens more examples of how we "color" various images, phenomena, events with one color or another. Moreover, people in different countries, without saying a word, "paint" the same phenomena with the same colors. I'm not talking about our physiological reactions! All over the world, people turn purple with anger, turn black with grief, and turn green with envy. And not vice versa!

Svetlana KURALINA, a great enthusiast of color therapy, can call your mood yellow, your attitude purple, and your life period pink. She introduced me to the research of physicists and doctors on how and why the colors of the world around us affect us.
Science explains what everyone feels on an intuitive level. But, to be honest, I didn't come to Svetlana to find out the meanings of flowers and "apply" them to life. I'm not going to advise what color to wear a dress or what wallpaper to choose for the house. It's about something else, about how to learn to understand the logic of color. In fact, why do we - completely "accidentally"! - do we choose this or that clothes, room, stop our eyes on this or that person?
The magic of color is what we all use, whether we like it or not, dressing in something, buying bedspreads and curtains, choosing wallpaper and carpets ... We see the colors of the clothes of the people around us, we notice the tone of lipstick and the shade of pebbles in earrings or beads. And our subconscious mind takes all this into account, giving the answer: "like" - "dislike".
I could tell you that "cell metabolism is controlled by the emission of photons", that "color is a specific stimulus of the eye and when it affects the visual analyzer, photostimulation of retinal receptors occurs", that the eye "winds the biological clock embedded in the thalamus, hypothalamus and pineal gland" .

But, I will not delve into the theory. If you are interested in the scientific filling, I can suggest the names of scientists who dealt with the problems of human perception of color. This is Peter Mandel, Fritz-Albert Popp, Dr. Wendel. For those who have forgotten the school physics course, let me remind you that light is a set of electromagnetic waves of different lengths. And the wavelength determines its color. Electromagnetic waves interact with our energy structures - amplify or suppress their vibrations. It is clear that waves of different lengths (different colors!) affect certain organs of a person, his psyche in different ways. In the specialized literature, you can find tables, diagrams and graphs of the effects of electromagnetic waves of different lengths on microorganisms and plants, on humans.
Acting on the iris, the color excites certain receptors. Those who have ever been diagnosed with the iris of the eye know that it can be used to "read" the disease of any of the organs. It is understandable, because the "iris" is reflexively connected with all internal organs and, of course, with the brain. From here it is not difficult to guess that this or that color, acting on the iris of the eye, thereby reflexively affects the vital activity of the organs of our body.

A little about the mechanism of color therapy. A healthy cell has a "healthy" vibration with a certain wavelength. When a cell becomes ill, its vibration changes. I think it is not necessary to explain what resonance is? It is he who is used in color therapy - "irradiation" of the cell with the appropriate color (that is, an electromagnetic wave of a certain length) "imposes" a "healthy" vibration on it.
I allowed myself to delve a little into the theory so as not to return to it again. Color is not only physics, but also psychology and poetry. Knowledge and understanding of the "alphabet of color", the logic of its influence on us enrich and color life, brighten the palette of our feelings and relationships with people.

Pink, triangle on a blue background

Addictions to certain colors allow us to better understand what drives us, how we think, what lies in the subtext of certain actions - in the subtext that people themselves sometimes do not even realize.
For example, why on all continents are homosexuals referred to as "gays" and lesbians as "pinks"? These colors are also "legalized" on the coat of arms of the International Lesbian and Gay Association, where a pink triangle is depicted on a blue background.

“An interesting question,” Svetlana Valerievna laughed. - Let's discuss. Red is the color of male energy. In alchemy, it symbolizes the "male principle". By the way, in ancient Egypt, gods and men were painted with red or red-brown paints, in ancient tribes, men always painted their bodies in red, brick color. They are hunters - they need aggressiveness, activity, strength. And red is the color of the hot sun and fire. Men's psychophysiology "works in unison" with the vibrations of the red color. Red is anger, rage, sex, power.
Blue, on the contrary, is the color of female energy. According to Christian canons, blue is the color of the Queen of Heavenly Virgin Mary. We subconsciously associate blue with peace and infinity, it calms and relaxes. This is the color of passivity. After all, a woman is called upon to play a passive role - she keeps the fire in the hearth, brings up children. And in wild tribes, women, as a rule, painted their bodies with blue or yellow paints. By the way, dancers in ancient Egypt were painted in blue transparent clothes.
- It turns out that if a man acquires feminine features, then he ... "turns blue"?
- Rather, he "becomes blue" - after all, he does not become a woman in the full sense of the word, you yourself said: "acquires the features" of a woman. And a woman who begins to acquire masculine features, on the contrary, “turns pink” a little.

This version of Svetlana Kuralina seemed very convincing to me. Moreover, by chance in some medical book I stumbled upon an amazing fact. It turns out that women's arterial blood is indeed bluer than men's, because it contains more copper ions. Using spectrophotometry, this can even be seen. And in the blood of men there are more iron ions. (Recall that copper is blue and iron is red.)
True, the question remains: why is it customary to buy blue strollers and a blue “dowry” for newborn boys, and everything pink for girls? After all, it turns out, it is necessary to do the opposite? According to Svetlana Kuralina, subconscious therapy manifests itself here. Newborn boys are usually more "twitchy", active, they have a harder time going through childbirth than girls. Women know that blue helps reduce men's anxiety levels. Under the influence of blue, the pulse rate and blood pressure decrease, breathing slows down slightly. It is logical to assume that a blue blanket or stroller can soothe a little, appease the baby.

Indeed, why influence red on an already active little man? His active, "red" energy needs to be calmed down a bit, harmonized with blue. Girls, whose psychophysiology is more in line with the blue color, are easier to tolerate the stress that accompanies birth. Newborn girls are usually calmer than boys. Why "calm" them even more with the blue color of their undershirts? On the contrary, the energy of the red - active - color does not even interfere with them.

How to cool feelings

According to Kuralina, each person has his own chromotype. Simply put, the psychophysiology of each of us corresponds to a certain color. It turns out that impulsive choleric people are most often "red" people. Sanguine people are usually yellow. Sensitive melancholics are usually "blue" and phlegmatic "green". So, if your baby is a typical melancholic, and you are trying in vain to “stir up” him somehow, then maybe you shouldn’t dress him in all blue? And is it worth it, on the contrary, to dress a naughty boy in a bright red jumpsuit?

By the way, have you ever wondered why sugar is usually produced in blue and white packages? Why do we give the white color a bluish rather than a pinkish honey agaric in this case? Why not paint the boxes, for example, in tea color or the color of some kind of jam? After all, we remember sugar every day with tea!
I do not pretend to be an exhaustive answer, but some coincidences seemed curious to me ... Ancient oriental medicine - Ayurveda - divides foods into "cold" and "hot". Chew, for example, hot peppers - and you will feel hot, this is a "hot" product. Drink a glass of sweet water on a hot day and you will understand why Ayurveda considers sugar to have "cold" properties. So is it any wonder then that its packages are also made out in the "coldest" of colors - blue? (I’m sure, while no one suspects what Ayurveda thinks about the properties of sugar!)

Now try to guess what color to bring down the high temperature in case of illness. Of course, it is necessary to cool a person with "cold" colors - blue, blue. And diseases that are caused by hypothermia of the body can be treated with warm colors - red, yellow, orange. That's why, it turns out, going skiing, I - "accidentally"! - I grab red mittens from the shelf, which do not go with my ski suit at all. A friend is offended: "You don't like the mittens I gave you? Why don't you wear them?" But it turns out that in the old ones - red ones - I'm just warmer than in blue ones.

Experts believe that the blue color has analgesic, antiseptic and even antiemetic properties. A grandmother in the village may advise to apply a decoction of blue cornflowers to swollen eyes from tears. The use of blue for medicinal purposes can be heard most often when it comes to the need to reduce some processes - for example, to slow down the heartbeat or reduce the abundance of menstruation in women, to treat diarrhea or insomnia. As for insomnia, it seems that blue can help here because it calms and reduces arousal. (mospagebreak)

They say that blue clothes can help with various skin diseases, and purple dishes ... will reduce appetite. In fact, I don't like to eat on purple plates. I think that you are unlikely to find a lot of purple dishes at home. The logic of the magic of color is clear here: it is in cold colors that one should seek help if necessary to "cool" something - temperature, nervous excitement or appetite. It is impossible not to recall the fact that prostitutes dress by no means in blue, but in red underwear. Apparently, in order not to cool, but to warm up feelings?

How to warm up feelings.

Blue and blue usually evoke associations with the intellect, with a philosophical way of thinking. It is clear that the aristocrats are "cold", who know how to control their feelings, and the blood of a calm, cold color is "blue". And in the veins of the plebeians, who do not hide the volcano of their passions, their rage and anger, irritation and excitement, of course, "red" blood flows, and not blue water! Perhaps now you yourself will be able to put forward many versions about certain "color expressions". I just want to push your imagination and fantasy.
We have known about the differences between the right and left hemispheres of the brain since school. Simply put, the right hemisphere is intuition, creativity, irrationality, and the left hemisphere is logic, rational manifestations of the mind. It is believed that women have a more developed right hemisphere, men - the left. Now guess what colors the right hemisphere of the brain is prone to? Of course, to the "feminine", cold - blue, purple, white. And the left hemisphere gravitates more to the "male" - red color. It is no coincidence that in women's novels, languid girls are waiting for a knight precisely on a white (!) Horse. And at the man-artist Petrov-Vodkin, the boy bathes the red horse (!).
Moreover, it turns out that the hemispheres of the brain perceive time psychologically differently. The right - "blue" hemisphere of the brain somewhat underestimates the speed of the passage of time, the left - "red" - on the contrary, overestimates. It turns out that the blue color seems to be "slow", and the red color is "faster". It is logical to assume that surrounded by different colors, we perceive the speed of time in different ways. If we simplify it a lot, then we can say this: surrounded by red, time runs, and surrounded by blue, it slowly wanders.
This means that if the walls of the diner are painted red, then it will "miss" more visitors in a day. Many bistro owners know this, but they do not understand why this happens, believing that surrounded by red walls, visitors simply excite the nervous system and increase their appetite. In fact, among the red walls, it seems to people that time is running too fast, that they are late, that they need to hurry, hurry, hurry ... following the time. Therefore, people begin to chew faster - they tend to swallow food faster and run further about their business.
True, by painting the walls in purple, the owner of the diner needs to calculate whether the game is worth the candle, whether as a result it will also be necessary to spend money on additional security of the establishment: after all, this color can increase the subconscious aggression of visitors and the number of ... fights.

It is clear that in a prestigious expensive restaurant shades of blue are more beneficial. After all, this place is designed for leisurely relaxation. The slower the time passes, the longer the visitors will stay in the restaurant, the more food they will order...
Probably everyone knows about the exciting effect of red. It increases anxiety, excitement, nervous tension. I will add that under the influence of this color, the pulse really quickens, arterial and intraocular pressure increase, breathing quickens. I think you have now guessed that it is this color that treats melancholy, apathy, depression, "loss of strength."
Svetlana Kuralina claims that red underwear is very useful for various female diseases - it reduces pain and tension. The psychologist pays special attention to the fact that the "pure" red color is not so common. He is often "let" in black, for example. We sometimes do not notice that very stylish and seductive black lingerie is actually not quite black. If you look closely, a lot of purple is “melted” in such black, often maroon is “masked” under black.

“Once I specially invited an artist to my seminars, who taught to distinguish tones, shades of colors,” says Kuralina. “He showed how, for example, to get green from blue, and blue from yellow. A high-class professional can name several colors at once, when mixed together, one or another color is obtained. This is a very important note for those who like to look for "symbols" of flowers in women's novels. Not everything is as simple as they say in novels...
Of course, it cannot be denied that red is "animal passion". But crimson red will already symbolize anger, and light crimson - love. As one of my colleagues used to say, life is made up of nuances...
Experts say that the red color helps the production of red cells in the liver during blood loss, helps to eliminate poisons from the body. It is believed that red color kills viruses, reduces inflammation in the body. Very often in the specialized literature one can find a mention that vibrations of different colors are characteristic for each human organ. In ancient Chinese drawings illustrating the methods of oriental medicine, our insides are multi-colored. How to find out the color of a particular organ?

Esotericists distinguish several energy centers in a person, which are called chakras. The lowest one is just above the crotch, the upper one is in the area of the "third eye". It is believed that each chakra has its own color. In order to determine it, it is enough to remember the phrase by which we learned the colors of the rainbow in childhood - "Every Hunter Wants to Know Where the Pheasants Sit (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, blue, purple).
Spread this rainbow over your body from bottom to top. The lowest chakra is red, the highest is purple. If you have a good imagination, you can thus "see" or just approximately "calculate" the color of each internal organ. At the same time, it is logical to assume that our “lowest” manifestations, the “roughest” feelings, including sexual ones, should be colored red. And the most "spiritual", the most "sublime" - in purple.

I'm not the same today as yesterday!

You should not "diagnose" the character, mood or intentions of a person only by the color of his clothes. Of course, if a woman prefers dresses or suits of one color, she may be subconsciously trying to add to her character what she lacks. For example, a very shy person can dress in a bright red suit, thus trying to "charge" himself with aggressiveness, pressure.

But more often it happens differently: active, energetic people love red, burgundy shades in clothes, because they correspond to their character. If you want to understand others, you must, of course, pay attention to how they dress. But it is much more useful to learn how to use color to correct your own mood and behavior.
Here, for example, is how Svetlana Kuralina does it:
When I got divorced, I cut my hair and dyed it red. There are such colored varnishes that are quickly washed off. I alternately painted in all the colors of the rainbow and felt great. From my own experience, I was convinced how useful it is, when protesting against some events in my life, not to drive the protest inward, turning it into diseases, but to let it break out at least in such an extravagant way. Divorced - you cut off old feelings to hell, throw out past failures along with your hair and become different, for starters, at least outwardly - you repaint. Again, I felt great!
Svetlana advises not to suffer about boring, faceless everyday life, but to try to color them—in the truest sense of the word. And you will notice how life around you will begin to change. Colleagues will suddenly start approaching you with questions:

“Why are you dressed up in such a red skirt?”, “And where did you get painted like that? And the communication that you lacked so much will begin. And, perhaps, people will suddenly start talking to you, whom you were embarrassed to approach before, not knowing what you can talk to them about. And you start to communicate - new acquaintances will appear, and with them - a new life. Perhaps a different color of hair or suit will help you become a different person, more open to the world?
Svetlana Kuralina changes the color of Christmas tree decorations every New Year - she tries to make them match her new mood, state of mind.
“A few years ago, I could not get out of certain everyday problems that prevented me from living,” says Svetlana. - I was looking for ways to solve them, I wanted to change my life, I wanted new thoughts, new ideas. And at my house there were a lot of things of the yellow color I adore. Why did I prefer this particular color then, why did I call my mood yellow? Galya, what will you answer me if I tell you that Smena is a yellow magazine?
“Of course, I am a peaceful person and, I hope, well-mannered, but ...

— I meant only that the wonderful title of your magazine calls for a change, for changes, calls not to hold on to outdated ideas, stereotypes. Yellow is the symbol of change! This is the color of search, changes in the usual state, the desire to change places, events, lifestyles.
- It turns out that a person dressed in yellow is easy to convince?
- Such a person can have any beliefs, that's not the point, but he is ready for change, he will not stand his ground conservatively, contrary to the facts and logic of life. Anyone who hangs yellow curtains on the windows at home and buys yellow bedspreads on the sofa, armchairs, subconsciously wants to move himself towards some changes, wants to decide on some serious step, a turn in life. Yellow is preferred by people who strive for independence, to expand the horizons of perception.

It turns out that I almost took offense at Svetlana in vain, although, in principle, it is logical that the tabloid press is called yellow. Sometimes, after all, change can be perceived as ... treason. And cheating is a lie. So it turns out that yellow is the color of false press and deceived husbands. Why is yellow so...compromised? There is a version that this happened in the XII century. It was yellow clothes that were put on the victims of the Inquisition, who were sent to the fire. They say that at this time they began to draw Judas in a yellow robe. And, to be honest, I am somewhat offended by such an interpretation of yellow - golden, sunny, honey! - colors...
It turns out that there are special psychological techniques that help get rid of unwanted feelings using color therapy. For example, a technique for getting rid of anger is twisting a red towel. You need to take such a towel, put it on your knees and imagine that it is your anger, aggression, hatred that choke you and find no way out. So give them an outlet - twist the towel with all the force and fury you can muster. Twisting it, imagine how your anger, aggression "drain" from it? Are there still a few drops left? Press, twist the towel harder! The psychologist claims that in this way the anger that you want to get rid of will come out of you.
Of course, it is impossible in one article to talk about the influence of all colors on us and interpret their meaning, but the author did not set herself such a task. I just wanted to show you another direction for creativity. Remind us that we live in a colorful world.

The general effect of color on the physical and mental state of a person

For many centuries people all over the world have a certain association with a certain color. For example, the Romans and Egyptians correlated black with sadness and sorrow, white with purity, but in China and Japan, white is a symbol of sorrow, but among the population of South Africa, the color of sadness was red, in Burma, on the contrary, sadness was associated with yellow, and in Iran with blue.
The influence of color on a person is quite individual, and also depends on certain experiences, for example, on the method of choosing the color of certain celebrations or everyday work.
  • Each type of temperament matches your color

Depending on the time of exposure to a person , or the amount of area occupied by the color, it causes positive or negative emotions, and affects his psyche. The human eye is capable of recognizing 1.5 million colors and shades, and colors are perceived even by the skin, and they also affect people who are blind. In the process of research conducted by scientists in Vienna, blindfold tests took place. People were brought into a room with red walls, after which their pulse increased, in addition, they were placed in a room with yellow walls, and the pulse returned to normal sharply. Then, and in a room with blue walls, he noticeably went down. In addition, the age and gender of a person has a noticeable effect on color perception and a decrease in color sensitivity. Up to 20-25 perception increases and after 25 decreases in relation to certain shades.
research, that took place in American universities proved that the primary colors that prevail in the children's room can affect the change in pressure in children, reduce or increase their aggressiveness, both in the sighted and the blind. It can be concluded that colors can have a negative and positive effect on a person.

Perception of colors and shades can be compared to a musician tuning his instrument. All shades are capable of evoking elusive responses and moods in a person’s soul, which is why he seeks the resonance of the vibrations of color waves with the inner echoes of his soul.
Feng Shui method, color is an indispensable assistant to a person in changing his fate and changing many aspects of his life for the better. This happens if he possesses knowledge of the mechanism of mutual generation and overcoming of the five elements, as well as the location of the premises relative to the four cardinal points. In the process of choosing a color for a room, ancient Chinese science says that it is necessary to navigate the internal state of the owner and his intuitive sensations.
In China, red is used in wedding ceremonies.

It is known that each person has his own chromotype. That is, psychophysiology can be defined by any color. In fact, impulsive choleric people are "red" people. Since melancholics are extremely sensitive, they are usually "blue" and phlegmatic are "green". Sanguine people are yellow. Thus, it is worth considering if your child is a representative of melancholics, and you are making vain attempts to “stir up” him, then maybe you don’t need to dress him in all blue, but is it better to wear something red?

Scientists around the world say that the red color helps the production of red cells in the liver, and also helps to quickly remove poisons from the human body. It is believed that the red color is able to destroy various viruses and significantly reduces inflammation in the body. Often in the specialized literature there is an idea that vibrations of certain colors are inherent in any human organ. The multi-colored coloring of the insides of a person can be found in ancient Chinese drawings illustrating the methods of oriental medicine.
Esoteric methods say that in a person there are several energy centers, the so-called chakras. The topmost chakra is located in the area of the "third eye", and the bottom one is slightly above the perineum. They also believe that the chakras have their own color, and to determine it, you can simply recall the well-known children's saying - “Every Hunter Wants to Know Where the Pheasants Sit (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, purple).

If you arrange these colors on the body from the bottom up, then the lowest chakra will be colored red and the top one purple. With excellent imagination, you can "see" or "calculate" the color of our internal organ with a certain method. Of course, one can also say that the most “rough” feelings of a person (including sexual ones) should have a red tint. And the most "spiritual" and "sublime" - purple.
In addition, the colors not only affect the mood and mental state of a person, but also lead to some physiological abnormalities in the body. For example, in a room with red or orange wallpaper, the heart rate noticeably quickens and the temperature rises. In the process of painting rooms, the choice of color usually involves a very unexpected effect. We know of such a case when the owner of a restaurant, who wanted to improve the appetite of visitors, ordered the walls to be painted red. After that, the appetite of the guests improved, but the number of broken dishes and the number of fights and incidents increased enormously.
  • It is also known that even many serious diseases can be cured with color. For example, in many baths and saunas, thanks to certain equipment, it is possible to take healing color baths.

color therapy

The color that fills the world is a priceless gift to each of us. We use it daily, hourly, every second, without even thinking about it. We perceive color not only with our eyes, but with every part of our body. Each shade has its own physical nature, electric waves, which, with their micro-vibrations, affect our subconscious. We can use this miracle consciously, purposefully, when we need it most. With the help of "colored" water, support yourself or a loved one in difficult times, relieve pain, improve your condition.

A room painted in yellow tones contributes to a good mood, as it enlivens the environment. Bright, dormant sources of energy in a person, the red color brings to the surface hidden sources of energy, under its influence, carnal desires also ignite with a bright flame.

The one whose dwelling is designed in blue tones needs tenderness and harmony. The green color prevailing in the apartment contributes to aggressiveness, although this is not observed in nature. A bedroom designed in these colors does not contribute to the harmonious development of relations. If you suffer from insomnia, then it is better that the walls are designed in dark colors. It works better than any sleeping pill.

To improve your well-being, water that is charged with a certain color is very effective. As scientists have established, water has a memory and a lot of other wonderful properties. These properties can be used to your advantage. Colored coasters (it can be napkins, colored paper or cardboard) are very convenient and effective, on which a glass of water is freely placed.

Water perfectly perceives information, so it is enough to put a glass of water on a colored stand for 5-10 minutes, so that the water "accepts" and transfers its energy to you. "Colored" should be drunk slowly, in small sips.

If you had a major quarrel with someone, excited, annoyed, drink a few sips from a glass that stood on a green stand. After you calm down a little, you can resort to the help of pink. Thus, you will get rid of the rest of the tension.

The blue color works in a similar way, but it not only relieves the sharpness of the conflict, but can generally prevent it. Keep this in mind when setting the table before the arrival of relatives, whose visit may end with slamming the door - put water on the table on a blue napkin.

It happens that after an unpleasant event or an unfortunate failure, you can’t calm down in any way: you torture yourself by scrolling the situation in your head again and again, losing as it was. In such cases, lemon color will help. In case of loss of loved ones, when grief is so great that a person does not know how to live on, it is necessary to use a lemon-colored stand. This color also helps strengthen memory. "Lemon" water is useful to drink on the eve of exams.

During daily work on the computer, it is good to have a glass of water next to you on a turquoise stand and drink sip after sip more often. Turquoise color protects from radioactivity, from the so-called "electric fog" and from the thermal radiation of the computer. "Turquoise" water is capable of creating a miracle - it will help you easily find the right word in an exam or a report.

If your child is going to school for a test, offer him some water "flavored" with yellow energy. Yellow contributes to the generation of brilliant ideas, stimulates spiritual activity.

Well, if you suffer from excessive appetite, then let the indigo color take care of you. Drinking 2 glasses of water every day, standing on an indigo-colored stand, will gradually curb your appetite. If you are overtired - drink a sip of water from the "red glass". You will immediately feel a surge of energy If you are old and seem hopelessly old and weak to yourself, the red color will help you "rejuvenate" and again feel the fullness of life.

A few sips of the "charged" violet color will help you get out of the vicious circle of oppressive thoughts, cleanse the spleen and make the work of the hemispheres harmonious. Exposure to orange is often the first push for positive change. They also improve your baby's appetite.

As you can see, color therapy techniques are simple and yet very effective. Check it out for yourself and you will be convinced. You can make coasters for charged water yourself, the main thing is that the materials are natural, and the colors are clean, pleasing to the eye.

Color in the interior

We spend most of our time indoors. That is why the color of the interior is very important. It is worth remembering that warm colors (red, yellow, orange, yellow-green, purple) create a tonic effect. Desaturated pastels absorb a lot of light and can soften the effect in overly sunny rooms. Cool colors (green-blue, cyan, indigo, violet) soften too bright light. Intense colors can help make up for the lack of light.
White color in the bathroom creates a cool
White color

White color in the interior creates a feeling of spaciousness. However, if there is too much of it (for example, it is now popular to make an oriental minimalist interior, where absolutely everything is white), a feeling of loneliness may arise. Moreover, objects painted white heat up weaker than others and cool down longer. Therefore, the white color must be diluted with some bright details.
It is not advisable to make the kitchen white, as the feeling of comfort will disappear. A white bathroom can feel cool. But the white office is considered a good solution, as it symbolizes honesty and accuracy.
Red color

Red color is a very powerful source of energy. However, this does not mean at all that all the walls in the house should be painted with paint of this color. It is enough to use it in the form of placed accents. But such details should not be abused either. Remember that within half an hour, red gives a huge boost of energy, brain activity is activated, but after this time, the acquired vigor will begin to give way to fatigue and irritability.
You should not use this color in the bedroom, as the energy of red increases activity, and you are unlikely to be able to relax in such a room. If you still want to decorate your bedroom with this particular color, then opt for softer shades, closer to pink than scarlet.
But for the kitchen bright shades of this color are very good, as they increase appetite.
Yellow and orange colors

Just like with red, be careful with the use of orange in the interior. Opt for softer shades like peach or amber. But the yellow color is considered beneficial for the interior, especially for educational and work areas, as it helps to create an atmosphere for intellectual work and stimulates the nervous system. Just remember that the use of bright shades of yellow is permissible only in well-lit rooms.
Green is a universal color that is considered the most successful for all types of premises.
Green color

Green- universal color, which is considered the most successful for all types of premises. However, different shades of this color have different effects. Cold shades (for example, the color of the sea wave or aquamarine) are refreshing. The shade of green apple and lime has a stimulating effect. Light shades (with a lot of white impurities) have a calming effect. Dark green colors create a sense of balance and confidence.
Black color

Of course, black is a strong color, it evokes feelings of stability and self-sufficiency. But this color should not be abused. Since it can cause side effects such as feeling closed off. With an excess of this color, the room will seem uncomfortable.

As well as with red, you should limit yourself to accessories that will create a sense of graphic and clear interior, which will evoke associations with composure and organization.
Blue color

This color is considered ideal for bedrooms. thus evoking feelings of relaxation. But for bathrooms it is not recommended, as it still belongs to the group of cold colors.

We are planning a beautiful garden. Garden color therapy.

author Ziborova E.Yu., photo Ziborov T.Yu.

"Gardens are for nourishing the heart" Chinese wisdom

Any garden is a special, unique world of plants with their inherent play of color. When planning a beautiful garden and flower garden, we strive for a harmonious combination of the basic color of flowers, leaves, and shoots. Each gardener selects plants for the garden according to his taste and color preferences; some like contrasting, others - non-contrasting color combinations. Even one kind of favorite flower, if you plant different varieties of it, is able to decorate the garden with a rich palette of colors - from white to purple-violet: gladioli, dahlias, irises, tulips, daylilies, snapdragons, sweet peas, pansies, zinnias and many, many other flowers.
Green is the main color of the foliage of the spring and summer garden, which has a calming and soothing effect on a tired person. Silver, golden, bronze, purple foliage of some plants beautifully complements the green color. Variegated leaves are very elegant: with specks, a border, veins. Many green-leaved garden trees and shrubs take on vibrant autumn colors in late summer as the last generous garden gift of the season.

Flowers painted in warm colors (red, orange, yellow) form catchy "spots" visible from afar in the garden. The remaining colors of the rainbow (blue, blue, purple) in the color of the flowers are less noticeable from a distance against the background of green leaves; they set off the brighter colors of garden decoration well. Transitional colors (pink, lilac, lemon, raspberry, etc.) go well with each other. Plants with pastel-colored flowers are usually planted in the foreground; colorful plants often decorate the background and the entrance to the house. White is a neutral color that softens contrast and goes well with literally all other colors.
Gardeners choose plants suitable in all respects for planting in the garden with primary colors that successfully harmonize with each other, complementing them with transitional ones. "Strict" landscape designers believe that the bright variegation of various colors in the garden is "a sign of bad taste." But after all, the motley calico of the flowers of the forest glade and the lush multi-colored summer meadow, which are the creation of nature itself, are perceived by everyone quite naturally! It never occurs to anyone to accuse nature of "bad taste".

The selection of plant species for the garden with a variety of color combinations of foliage and flowers is a very individual matter. Some gardeners want to see active, bright colors and their combinations in their garden, others like romantic pastels or discreet blue-violet tones. Here, in my opinion, criticism from the outside is inappropriate, since "there are no comrades for the taste and color." After all, every gardener - an Artist and Creator of his own comfortable living space - creates a garden at the call of his soul. Here "everyone chooses for himself", according to his needs.
Many flower growers are happy to plant variegated mixtures of varieties of their favorite plants - this flower-deciduous kaleidoscope of colors is very pleasing, especially on cloudy days and late autumn. A cheerful round dance of variously colored flowers and leaves is inherent in the so-called "wild" garden, which does not adhere to any strict canons and rules for combining colors and garden arrangements. In the "wild" garden you will not see straight lines in the outlines of paths and flower beds, such a garden seems to have "grown by itself" and looks like a cozy natural corner or "a piece of Paradise on Earth."

Experimenting with all sorts of combinations of plants in the garden is a very exciting and time-consuming activity. Therefore, it is better to plan plantings in advance, and then buy the seeds, seedlings and seedlings that correspond to the plans.
Recently, gardeners are gaining more and more popularity. "monochrome gardens", in which are selected plants of one predominant color with a combination of its different tones and shades:
- Energetic, active, leaders by nature, public people love red flowers, which excite and attract the eye. The red bark of some plants (woodgrass, willow, etc.) decorates the garden very much, especially in winter.
- Orange flowers also catch the eye; they are loved by successful or actively striving for success, ambitious people. Glad "orange garden" they form tagetes, calendula, dimorphotheca, daylily, mimulus, nasturtium, tithonia, ursinia, venidium, etc. In spring, Japanese quince is covered with numerous and bright orange-coral flowers.

- Yellow color brings to the garden a sense of celebration and the presence of the sun in any weather. Optimists and cheerful people love yellow flowers, drawing positive emotions from yellow and not believing in bad omens. They are happy to make "sunny" bouquets, give and receive yellow flowers as a gift. AT "golden garden" cheer up adonis, autumn gelenium, marigolds, goldenrod, doronicum, buzulnik, bartonia, escholzia, limnantes, coreopsis, ornamental sunflowers, rudbeckia, thunbergia, heliopsis, evening primrose, swimsuit, etc. Golden forms of shrubs and trees are suitable for a "golden" garden ( barberry, privet, mock orange, euonymus, thuja, elderberry, viburnum-gorodovina, ash, etc.), as well as plants in which a golden border runs along the edge of the leaf (woodworm, ash-leaved maple, etc.). Shrubs give yellow flowers: mahonia, forsythia, broom, etc.
- Soft, gentle, dreamy natures love pink and lilac flowers. AT "rose garden" bergenia, kandyk, daisies, pink hyacinths, tulips, cornflower, dicentra, primroses, begonias, pink peonies, phloxes, clarkia, godetia, incarvillea, sidalcea, cleoma, pink gypsophila, kosmeya, lavatera, sweet peas, levkoy, loosestrife, pink petunias, echinacea, etc. Romantic natures often plant almonds and rhododendrons that give pink "clouds" of flowers in spring. Pink color is present in the color of the leaves of some varieties of woody plants (barberry, Flamingo maple, Actinidia kolomikta, etc.).

- Modest, restrained and patient people often plant blue and blue flowers, which characterize peace and openness - the blue-blue range refreshes the space of the garden, balances bright colors. For creating "blue garden" they use blueberry, brunner, forget-me-nots, borage, umbilical, lungwort, ankhuz, nemophila, nigella, phacelia, periwinkle, ageratum, cyanosis, aconite, cornflowers, blue delphiniums, gentians, lobelia, platycodon, bruise, morning glory, agapanthus, meconopsis, bluebells and etc. A sea of blue can be created in the garden by catnip, blue salvia, sage, veronica, blue hostas, tenacity, blue flax, cyanotis, turquoise fescue, etc. Flowers and leaves in the garden of blue-blue colors are perfectly complemented by lilac, a lush bush of blue hydrangea .
- Violet color is liked by lovers of everything mysterious, it evokes extraordinary fantasies. A deep purple color is found in bearded irises, delphiniums, clematis, violas, heliotrope, anemones, tradescantia, etc. Shiny leaves with a purple tint unfold shrubs: purple hazel, purple skumpia.

- Refined, unfussy and chaste people often strive to create a bright "white garden". White flowers are a symbol of nobility, purity, purity. It is presented to us by white snowdrops, lilies of the valley, daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, peonies, anemones, alyssum, phlox, lilies, astilbe, gladioli, gypsophila, white chrysanthemums, etc. Lianas (wisteria, clematis) are covered with a white cascade of flowers, like a bride's veil white varieties, etc.); trees and shrubs give white flowers (lilac, hydrangea, bird cherry, magnolia, spirea, mock orange, etc.) and fruits (snowberry, mountain ash, etc.). Some trees have white bark and shoots (birch, narrow-leaved sucker). White color is present in the color of variegated or white-edged leaves (hosta, spotted milk thistle, white acacia, white dogwood, Drummond maple, barberry, weigela, action, holly, etc.), as well as leaves with white spots, or the so-called powdery (sugar lungwort ). The leaves and stems of many plants have a silvery tint (white poplar, sea buckthorn, silver sucker, cineraria, decorative wormwood, sapling, edelweiss, etc.). The whiteness and silveriness present in the decoration of plants create a festive and solemn atmosphere in the garden. In the evenings, the white garden is very bright and mysterious.

Contemplation of a garden with a variety of colors brings gardeners not only joy, but also health. Since ancient times, healers and traditional healers have widely used in their practice the influence of color on the mood and health of a person, on the work of various organs. Scientists from different countries, having studied their experience, were convinced and agreed that color heals. This "discovery" served to create a pleasant and harmless way to deal with ailments - color therapy.

Many effective techniques and methods of color therapy have been developed, which are becoming more and more popular every year. Research scientists have shown that each color (electromagnetic waves of a certain length) has a healing effect and significantly affects the functioning of specific organs.
Red color
suppresses depression, raises low blood pressure, normalizes blood circulation and body temperature. Since ancient times, treatment with red has been practiced (hence the saying "Red color - there is no disease!"). For the treatment of lameness and blood vessels in the legs, red woolen socks were always put on at night. Sorcerers "dressed up" children with measles and chickenpox in a red shirt; erysipelas were wrapped in a red rag.

Orange and yellow
colors improve mood, promote spiritual uplift, activate the brain, normalize blood pressure.

Yellow
color, moreover, stimulates appetite and improves the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
Glaucoma and hypertension are treatable in green: it reduces eye and blood pressure, has a positive effect on the nerves and the functioning of the cardiovascular system.
Colors blue-blue scales calm aggression, relieve headaches and eye strain, normalize heart rhythms and pressure, as well as the functioning of the respiratory system and the thyroid gland.
