This technique is truly a healing tool that is used to clear any kind of emotional tension in our mind and body. It combines modern psychology and the principles of acupuncture, an ancient Chinese healing system, and helps to release stress and emotional conflict of any kind. What we do is tap certain acupuncture points along the body's meridians with our fingertips and work on our own problem, specific stress or emotional tension. The goal is to restore the normal functioning of the energy system by stimulating certain energy points.

The tapping technique works with any kind of emotional stress - anxiety, fears, guilt, all kinds of addictions, limiting beliefs that prevent people from creating a successful, prosperous life, as well as physical pain and illness. Any problem that has an emotional basis can be healed with this method.

The fact is that emotions affect every area of ​​our lives. In the process of tapping, we stimulate and excite our nervous system, and bring to the surface hidden deep feelings, subconscious beliefs and programs and release them. It turns out that, using the tapping technique, we solve the problem at its very root.

If we delve into explaining how this technique works, it is important to say this. Any problem in a person's life begins at the energy level.. When we heal, clear the energy system with the tapping technique, we are removing the problem at its root. In addition, the tapping technique breaks the neural connections in the brain that caused a particular painful reaction or behavior when a person was faced with a traumatic past experience. As a result of this, a person ceases to react painfully to what used to hurt him.

The tapping method has its origins in the 80s, and the very first version of it was called "thought field therapy" or the technique of the American psychologist Dr. Roger Callaghan (TFT). And in the 90s, the American Gary Craig improved the method of Dr. Calagan and created the Emotional Release Technique (EFT), which guarantees the release of negative emotions that have sometimes accumulated over many years, and contributes to the improvement of the personality and the achievement of desired goals. This is a very simple technique that has no negative side effects and can be used by anyone anywhere. That is why today this technique is so popular in the world, it is improved and adapted to heal completely different areas of life, including relationships, finances, physical health, personal development.

Description of tapping technique.

Technique has two main features- this is concentration on the problem and tapping certain acupuncture points on the body. Tapping is most conveniently carried out with two fingers of any hand - as you like. You can even tap with both hands at the same time. You should tap the dots in a circle, at the same time pronouncing aloud certain phrases and sentences. You can see the points that should be tapped in the image.

Tapping begins from a point at the beginning of the eyebrow, then the corner of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, in the center of the chin, a point on the collarbone (2-3 cm from the center to the right or left - it doesn’t matter), a point under the arm (4 fingers down from the armpit) and finish the circle with a point on the top of the head, where the crown is in children.

The tapping process also includes a point located on the edge of the palm (the so-called karate point). How many times you hit the dot - it doesn't matter, do it a few times. Tapping itself is similar to how we vigorously type on the keyboard or lightly drum on the table.

The very first, very important stepis to clearly define the problem. The more clearly and specifically you define the problem, the better. The second step is to rate on a scale of 1 to 10 the intensity of the unpleasant emotion when you think about the problem. It is important for us to know where we are, where we start.

This is followed by a step that we call "main statement". At this stage, by tapping on the karate point on the edge of the palm, you several times aloud state the problem in this format: “Despite the fact that I have this problem (I am afraid of an interview, I am offended by my mother, I blame myself for overeating, I am afraid of spiders, I am sure that money is evil ... and so on), I deeply and fully love and accept myself.” Perhaps this phrase will seem strange and inappropriate to you, perhaps you do not agree with this statement ... But it is important for you to say this even if it is not true. This statement does not mean that the problem does not exist. This means that the problem exists, but you still love and accept yourself. Accept and love not the problem, but yourself, as you really are, with all your features. Even if you feel that it is not true yet, saying the phrase “despite the fact that I have this problem, I deeply and completely love and accept myself, everything, with all my features” works wonders.

This is an incredibly important step. People tend not to allow themselves to experience negative emotions, they suppress them inside and do not admit them to themselves. And if they confess, then after this they begin self-flagellation, self-accusation, they do not love themselves and do not accept. With this statement, you share the negative emotion and self-love. Cutlets in one direction, flies in the other. You allow yourself to feel whatever you feel, even if it's negative heavy feelings.. And yet you accept the fact that everything is fine with you, you deserve love and acceptance in any case.

After that you start tapping in a circle and at the same time say phrases that remind you of the problem itself, of the negative situation that describes it. At this stage, it is very important to call a spade a spade, turn off any censorship, and simply, clearly and out loud speak about how you feel. And it is very good if negative feelings intensify. We do this specifically in order to free ourselves, to let go of the negative. After all, if you have this feeling, this emotion, then because you don’t say it out loud, it doesn’t go anywhere, it remains a block in the body. Therefore, at this stage, it is important for you to simply acknowledge out loud what you feel: “Yes, I am angry, yes, I am afraid, I am scared, yes, I am offended.”

There are people who are afraid to say out loud what they feel. There are two such aspects to this: the first is that these people are simply deceiving themselves. They do not want to admit to themselves that they feel all these negative feelings. Because they subconsciously believe that only a “bad” person, unworthy of love, can feel negative feelings. And they are, as it were, "good." They think that if they don't talk about a feeling or emotion out loud, then it doesn't exist. This is self-deception.

The second aspect is that we are all very well-read and we know that we need to think positively, that words and thoughts have power. And we are afraid to attract even more negativity into our lives, allegedly because we will pronounce these feelings out loud.

But the truth is that in this case, the very pronunciation of feelings does not produce even more negativity. This negativity already exists inside a person, even if a person is stubbornly silent and does not admit it to himself. These feelings, emotions, limiting beliefs already exist in a person and subconsciously control his life, health, and behavior. And, unfortunately, they also affect the people around them. And now it is very important for us to pull all this out of ourselves, pull it out of the subconscious, because we can only heal and be free from what we see and acknowledge.

Many people who say only positive things are actually often just denying and not acknowledging their other side, pretending that it does not exist. Of course, from non-recognition, it does not disappear anywhere. Instead of shutting yourself off from the negativity in yourself, I offer to recognize it and get rid of it. The fact is that it is normal to experience a wide range of feelings - from positive to negative.

It is normal and natural to be angry, angry, offended, annoyed, ashamed, afraid. Any negative emotion is born in a person in order for him to change the situation. To change the situation, negative emotion, first of all, must be noticed, heard. HFeelings and emotions become destructive only when they are not expressed. When we see them, recognize them, we can free ourselves from them and be healed.

Let's move on to a specific example. For the first simple test, I suggest you tapping emotions and feelings associated with the stress that many people experience at work- communicating with management, customers, suppliers, employees.

Determine as specifically as possible what worries you, scares you, saddens you, annoys you at work. And then rate the strength of your feelings and emotions on a 10-point scale. 0 means that this is not a problem for you at all, a score of 10 means that you are beside yourself with feelings and emotions overwhelmed by you. If the score is below 6, I suggest choosing a different situation so that there is something to work with effectively.

Now start tapping on the karate point on the edge of your palm and repeat the phrase: “Despite the fact that I experience a lot of stress at work, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I experience a lot of stress at work, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I experience a lot of stress at work, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”

Now continue tapping in circles, starting at the dot at the beginning of the eyebrow, and just talk about how you feel, moving to the next dot with each new phrase.

But I must admit right away that the desire to work in certain areas of reflexology arose in me because of my own long-standing ailments, cured only with the help of traditional oriental practice. The book that you are holding in your hands is dedicated to a relatively young method of treatment and diagnosis, which in America and Europe has already been called the “tapping method”. If the previous topics about the spine and digestion did not interest you (and I'm only glad about that!), then we will have to take an introductory course from the very beginning. If you are familiar with the previous books or have practiced heat therapy or acupressure techniques yourself, you can partly skip the introduction! However, do not disregard the information about Japanese and Korean acupressure.

Because this book includes elements not only of Chinese medicine, but also of other Eastern practices.

It seems to me that Japanese and Korean methods of diagnosis and treatment are more suitable for us, Europeans, on a psychological basis. Chinese scrupulousness and a powerful theoretical base among young people always cause protest at first. And the Korean and Japanese approach has an element of determination: confidently, quickly, with a fighting spirit! But at the same time, the same basic concepts are involved as in ancient Chinese practice. In any case, oriental massage and its western arrangement can be your method if we get a good result. And this will inevitably happen, no matter what technique we try to start with!

The tapping method is a Western branch of Eastern therapy.

To treat our body, oriental medicine uses special points located along the so-called energy meridians. Many people know about this by hearsay, but some of my patients at the reception say that they have encountered treatment with “needles”. Indeed, a reflexologist affects the points with various methods: acupuncture (acupuncture), heat treatment, massage, pressure with mechanical devices and even magnets! All these methods have been tested for a long time, they work great and, it would seem, do not require extension. But, firstly, modern practice does not stand still, and, secondly, its ancient base is so extensive that we are always at the beginning of the path.

So, a relatively new method of tapping energy points is based on traditional Chinese and Japanese massage, and in many respects intersects with them. Its identity lies in the emphasis on psychological component of the treatment.

The simplest tapping massages on the back of the head have been used since ancient times to excite vitality, to concentrate thinking in responsible moments among officials, pundits and schoolchildren. Our neurologists, neuropathologists, reflexologists could not ignore this method of influence, because it gives an interesting result. In the process of such a massage, it is possible to stimulate and excite our nervous system, to bring deep emotions, unwanted subconscious attitudes and programs to the surface. And not just pull them to the surface, but also demolish them, as the programmers say. That is, to ruthlessly destroy the negativity accumulated over the years, which gives painful attitudes to the whole body.

The tapping method works with any manifestation of emotional stress. With anxiety, fear, dangerous addiction, overwhelming guilt, belief that limits our success and prosperity. These results were achieved by reflexologists who work with patients with diseases that seem not directly related to stress. At first, we used reflexology as an excellent method of influencing neurological pain, allergies, immune diseases. But it turned out that massage also eliminates such a basis of immunodeficiency as stress.

Oriental reflexology is built on the fact that not only ill health, but also any life problem, in principle, begins at the energy level. The right impact on the energy system destroys the root of the problem. The tapping changes the neutron bonds that triggered the painful reactions or the painful type of behavior. After several sessions carried out in the desired area of ​​our body, we get emotional freedom. And this is just an addition to general health improvement organism, which is generally aimed at reflexology.

By the way, in chronic or acute diseases, tapping can remove the emotional stress caused by the pathology within a few minutes. It is very important! It's no secret that depressing thoughts about the disease, suspiciousness, hypochondria often cause more harm to the body than the disease itself!

The ancient traditional methods of influencing the active zones of the body were physically unpleasant, since the effect was always carried out through pain. Acupuncture (acupuncture) is still associated with minor pain, although it is considered a very effective technique! But acupuncture requires special medical training, so it is not suitable for self-help.

We will use only the impact of fingers on biologically active points.

The idea of ​​biologically active zones at first can be very approximate. “Mistakes”, the impact on the “wrong” zones will not cause any complications, but will only involve “extra” energy channels. But who knows, suddenly at this moment our intuition will be above knowledge, and the body will incline us to tapping the most necessary zones! However, after the start of practice, the volume of knowledge is replenished quite quickly, and intuition receives the necessary information reinforcement. If only because the memory improves significantly thanks to reflexology!

How to transfer the energy of the fingers to the body

The tapping method combines two important components: finger movement and mental accompaniment. Fingers work with energy points, and thinking is focused on liberation from problems that have arisen in the body - physical or psychological.

We can imagine how to work with our psychological clamps. Because each of us has personal experience of overcoming some spiritual problems. After all, we seriously learn this from early childhood throughout our lives. And if they had not learned anything, they would not have come to the need to develop opportunities. Reflexotherapy, of course, puts forward its own requirements for psychological attitudes, and we will follow them in the course of mastering the method.

As for the energy zones of the body, the novice practitioner knows about them only by hearsay. But this is the main subject of influence of any method of reflexology. We proceed from the fact that energy moves in the body like blood, like lymph, like gastric juice, like air in the lungs. The circulatory system is best compared to the energy system. It is easy to imagine that not a single tissue of the body will live more than an hour if it is deprived of its blood supply. So, without the movement of energy, the tissue also becomes ill and can also die.

A person is healthy as long as the continuous movement of energy in each of his energy vessels is maintained. We will call these vessels meridians. Energy in the meridians, like blood in the circulatory system, moves faster or slower, depending on the needs of the body. But as soon as the movement is stalled, the disease begins. To become healthy again, you need to understand where the energy blockage has formed and eliminate it.

Congestion or stagnation of energy can arise deep in the tissues of organs and systems, but the path to it lies through the outer points of the energy meridian. From the fingers and toes to the lungs, heart, stomach, winding trajectories of energy are laid, which must be activated through the surface points of the meridians. It is necessary to push the energy into the deep painful zone. The task of influencing the superficial points of the meridian will be assigned to our palms and fingers during the tapping session.

The tapping method restores the functions of organs and systems. Corrects even those violations that you might not have noticed. It happens that the effect of reflexology begins with regard to one, the most annoying, disease, and after treatment, “minor” problems are eliminated along the way. This is because the points we have acted upon have a multifunctional power, just like the energy meridians.

We ourselves will be able to stimulate vital energy if we learn to influence energy flows. In practice, this looks like blows and pressing on special surface points that are able to transfer the energy of touch to the epicenter of the disease.

Points of influence in reflexology are called differently: active points, Chinese points, vital, biologically active, acupuncture (in acupuncture). Their existence on the human body and the body of animals has been known since ancient times.

Modern scientists confirm that these special zones are found from the moment of birth, although disputes about their nature never die out. In appearance, they are completely indistinguishable from other areas of the skin, quite often their location is projected onto large nerve fibers and blood vessels. In the 1960s, domestic scientists suggested that active points most often correspond to the exit points of the nerve trunks. In the region of the points, the connective tissue is loose and has a large number of receptors. Subsequently, it was proved that sensitivity is only one of the characteristic properties of cores. And another important property is a higher level of metabolism in these tiny zones.

The so-called mast cells accumulate here, which play an important role in the secretion of heparin (an anticoagulant) and histamine (a hormone responsible for the reaction to allergens, for the expansion of capillaries, and an increase in the secretion of gastric juice).

When working with energy meridians, we will tap the points belonging to these meridians sequentially, in the direction of energy movement. In Chinese therapy, each point of the meridian is quite rigidly fixed on the body. We will have to spend some time to mark the location of the combinations of points. Most often, such painstaking work is required for chronic diseases, when treatment is supposed to be long.

Tapping will be carried out with the index and middle fingers of the hand. So that the massaging hand does not get tired, does not strain and does not distract us from the intentions for recovery, it must be maximally relaxed in the wrist. When the carpal joint is relaxed, there is no clamping or tension in the palm of the hand or in the elbow joint. In fact, tapping is a good exercise for a massaging hand. In order to feel the charm of blows to the body immediately, let's do a small massage of the back of the head!

Massage for 3 hours of energy

This massage can be used to relieve chronic headaches, to increase muscle tone in case of fatigue or nervous breakdown.

But its main task is to cause a surge of vivacity, an energy surge before serious mental and psychological tests: an exam, a report, a job interview, before a difficult conversation with the boss and any other psychologically uncomfortable interlocutor for us. Cheerfulness and confidence from a 15-minute massage lasts at least three hours!

The best starting position for energy massage is standing, so that the hands move behind the back as freely as possible.

1. Open your palms and round them as if you were holding a small orange in each hand (Pic 1). The fingers should become quite stiff, and the wrists should be well relaxed (such requirements are imposed on pianists). We begin to produce fractional frequent blows with hard fingertips over the entire occipital surface of the head - from the top of the head to the hollow on the neck (we drum for no less than 3 minutes). There should be a sensation in the head of many drumsticks beating a continuous beat on the entire scalp.

2. Let's move down and “pinch” the back of the neck for a few minutes - the fingers should be soft, but predatory.

3. Now let's open our palms and make sure that the wrists are absolutely free. With relaxed palms we strike on the shoulders, shoulder blades, on the back (up to the level of the waist). Only the wrists work, the palms give a perceptible messy slap, which is quite unpleasant to endure! The skin on the back should turn red (although you can spank through a light fabric of clothing, this is done in classic Japanese massage techniques).

4. At the end of the procedure, smooth the surface of the back with a wide movement of the open palm. You can use two palms at once on the left and right half of the back.

Marking energy meridians

We will use many tricks that do not require precise markup of the body. You can approximately mark the points in accordance with the figures. When treatment of a chronic disease is required along strictly laid energy meridians, accurate atlases of 12 main meridians and 2 additional meridians of the human body will come to the rescue. The atlases are pretty accurate. In order to transfer active points to our body, we, like ancient Chinese healers, will use a proportional measure, which in China is called individual cun.

On atlases, active points are applied in compliance with this very individual cun - not a centimeter, not an inch, but the size of the nail bed of our thumb. If the thumb of any hand is too well developed due to occupation (in the old days this happened with the left finger of the spinners pulling the thread from the tow), use a less developed finger for proportions - it more reliably preserves natural proportions. Psychological setting

To start the psychological adjustment, and at the same time prepare the massaging hand for monotonous tapping, let's do exercises for the fingers. The following exercise should be performed by a massage therapist before starting any manual practice: traditional massage, tapping, acupressure (hand pressure). Manual therapy does not have either weak electric currents (like electrophoresis), or an artificial heat source (like UHF), but only clean and warm hands of a massage therapist! They must be energetically properly prepared. If you are doing massage (tapping) to someone from your family, the contact will be more effective. If you are busy with self-massage, then your own healing begins with the preparation of the hands.

Hand preparation

1. Imagine that you are washing your hands in the usual circular motions under a stream of warm water. By the way, the reception can be carried out in the form of a real hand washing under running warm water.

2. Vigorously stretch the joints. 10 times sharply and quickly clench your fingers into a fist and slowly unclench.

3. Then reverse movements: slowly clench your fingers into fists, and then sharply open them like a fan (10 times).

4. With the fingertips of both hands, we vigorously tap each other to cause a surge of strength in the fingers.

5. Again we rub our palms in a circular rotation, as when washing our hands, and this completes the preparation.

Stages of mood

The main task of the psychological attitude is to remove the negative attitude. Let's define it what does it mean for us, practitioners of reflexology, a negative attitude. The concept is extremely broad, but we are busy with a specific matter - the impact on the energy meridians. We are interested in how wrong attitudes can interfere with the elimination of energy stagnation.

A negative attitude in psychology is a concentration on shortcomings:

On what we lack, instead of thinking about what we have;

On what threatens us, and not on what are the resources for recovery;

On the shortcomings of the body, and not on its strengths;

On the previous negative experience of treatment, on recurring pain, on disturbing test results, and not on positive dynamics, a satisfactory condition today, etc.

There is no doubt that even with such attitudes we will begin to be treated and be able to recover! The instinct of self-preservation forces any person to health-improving actions, even in a difficult physical condition: sleep, saving strength - this is also recovery! Sound sleep is enough to get rid of headaches associated with excess or lack of energy. But influencing one's own energy meridians, overcoming fear and disbelief, is just as difficult as interacting with another person if the relationship is aggravated by hostility, fear, fear or guilt.

The reasons for the negative attitude during illness are associated with impaired physiology and unfavorable hormonal levels. The "negative" chemistry of the body gives rise to our hypochondria, and at the same time creates additional blockages in the energy vessels. And we fall into a vicious circle, into a trap. How do masters of Eastern practices break out of this trap? Create an emotional mood for treatment!

1. The initial step in mental attitude is a clear indication of the disease. When we treat a chronic disease, the diagnosis must be made by a physician. You can not invent gastritis, vegetovascular dystonia or bronchitis. It is necessary that the diagnosis be known for certain, and then we will begin treatment.

If tapping is performed solely for psychotherapeutic purposes, a visit to a psychologist is unnecessary! We will try to define the problem ourselves and evaluate it on a ten-point scale. The initial evaluation is very important. Therefore, focus on the degree of unpleasant emotions, and intuition will tell you how much to rate them: from 1 - "this is not a problem at all" to 10 - "worse than nowhere."

2. The next step is called "main statement". At this stage, we do tapping at the karate points on the edges of the palm (Fig. 1), and out loud two or three times we indicate the problem, and then our calm and reasonable attitude to the problem. For example, in this format.

Angry, offended, annoyed, ashamed, afraid ... for a person, these feelings seem to be natural, who doesn’t have it. When negative feelings and emotions accumulate, become unexpressed, they become destructive.

Now start tapping on the karate point on the edge of your palm and repeat only one of the phrases: “I get so tired at work. So much tension. It squeezes all the juice out of me. I feel exhausted. The stress at work binds me and worries me.

By stimulating the point, we are released, we release the negative from ourselves. If a negative feeling sits inside, an emotion, it means a block in your body. The truth is that in this case, the very pronunciation of feelings and tapping on the dots does not produce even more negativity, but rather relieves. The more clearly and specifically you define the problem in a short phrase, the better.

Now continue tapping in a circle, starting from the point at the beginning of the eyebrow, and say what you feel, moving to the next point with each new phrase.

If in the process of tapping your emotions intensify, it means that up to this point you have suppressed them in yourself, did not recognize them. So keep tapping and you will see these emotions begin to fade as you amplify.

Tapping itself is similar to how we vigorously type on the keyboard or lightly drum on the table. The points should be tapped in a circle (see the figure), while speaking aloud certain phrases and sentences. At this stage, it is very important to call a spade a spade, turn off any censorship, and simply, clearly and out loud speak about how you feel.

EFT method (Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT tapping)– strong and easy to learn, suitable for independent work with problems in any area of ​​life. The range of use is very wide - any negative / disturbing emotions, patterns, beliefs, depressions, panic attacks, experiences of the past and expectation of the future.

It is also useful for physical illnesses - you can work both with the symptom itself, and with psychosomatic, energy blocks that led to the disease.

The method is based on the use of a dot scheme, where each dot is responsible for the activation of one of the 12 channels known in the Chinese tradition.

The brief essence of the method is that any emotional, physical or other problems are a consequence of an imbalance and blockages within the energy body. The process of meridional tapping restores energy balance and promotes healing to the norm for a given person.

Description of the method

1. Determine what you will be working with. It can be yours and the difficulties that cause them. Tune in to these experiences, remember the situation that worries you - this will help you activate the blocks with which you will work further.

Measure the intensity of your experiences on a scale of 1 to 10, where 0 is "doesn't bother" and 10 is "impossible to endure."

2. Select the setup phrase you will be working with. The more specific the better.

Setup Phrase Template:
"Despite …. (negative feelings / sensations + what causes it), I completely and completely love and accept myself as / such as I am.

For example:
"Despite the fact that I'm tense and angry right now, I completely and completely love and accept myself for who I am."

“Despite the fact that I feel pain, sadness and emptiness from the fact that (name of person) left me, I completely and completely love and accept myself for who I am.”

“Despite the fact that I get furious when someone laughs at the fact that I am Cheburashka, I completely and completely love and accept myself for who I am.”

3. Tapping.
Tapping is done with two fingers (index and middle) of any hand on any side of the body. Repeat the key phrase by gently tapping the protocol start point 5-7 times.

There are 2 options for the launch point - you can choose the one that you like:

"Karate point" (in Fig. Point 12) - a soft spot on the edge of the palm just below the little finger.

4. Tap on the points indicated in the figure.

At each point, tap 5-7 times, saying the “reminder phrase” about what you are working with. For example:

  • I'm stressed and angry
  • (person's name) left me
  • I'm furious when they laugh at the fact that I'm Cheburashka

  1. The corner of the eyebrow from the side of the inner corner of the eye.
  2. Outer corner of the eye, on the bone.
  3. On the bone under the eye below the center.

  6. On the chest - go down 5 cm from the jugular notch and move the hand 5 cm to the right or left of this point.
  7. Under the arm - about 8 cm from the fold line of the arm (where the bra strap passes).
  8. Point on the thumb (on the side of the upper phalanx).
  9. Point on the index finger (on the side of the upper phalanx).
  10. Point on the middle finger (on the side of the upper phalanx).
  11. Point on the little finger (on the side of the upper phalanx).
  12. The karate point is the soft spot on the edge of the palm just below the little finger.

5. Harmonization of all centers.

Continuously tapping a point on the meridian of the Triple Warmer - an area on the “thymus nerve” (on the back of the hand in the depression between the metacarpal bones of the ring finger and little finger):

  • Say the reminder phrase with your eyes closed
  • Open your eyes and say the reminder phrase while looking straight ahead.
  • Speak the reminder phrase while looking down and to the left
  • Speak the reminder phrase while looking down and to the right.
  • Silently: make a correct circle of the largest possible diameter with the eyes clockwise (1 turn)
  • Silently: now the same thing - counterclockwise (2 turns)
  • Sing any tune
  • Count to 5 (1-2-3...)
  • Sing the tune again
  • Take a deep breath and exhale.

Eye movements stimulate the physical center, especially its motor part, which is responsible for memory, humming a melody stimulates the emotional center, and counting stimulates the intellectual center.

6. After completing the first round measure the intensity of those experiences with which you worked on a scale from 1 to 10.

7. Repeat steps "Tap" + "Harmonize" until the voltage drops to 2 or less. On the last tap, you can change the setup phrase to something like this: “Even though I still feel a little…. because of (name of the situation), I love and accept what I feel, I am ready to let it go, I am open to being calm, relaxed and centered.”

Reminder phrase options for the last cycle: “I am free/-bottom of this”, “I am letting go of this”, “I am calm, relaxed, centered”, and so on.

  • Drink pure water before, during and after the healing process. Despite the apparent simplicity, the process is emotionally and energetically costly and can lead to dehydration. In addition, water promotes the removal of all unnecessary and enhances the circulation of energy, increasing the effectiveness of EFT.
  • The EFT method has been widely developed. There are various tapping options. You can choose what suits you. Here is an extended version using the block on "Harmonization of centers" (paragraph 5). Some situations are easily handled by basic tapping.
  • Formulate the installation phrase as detailed and specific as possible. The better you describe your true experiences in words, the greater the result. For example: working with the phrase “I am depressed” is likely to give less result than the process with the phrase “I feel depressed, apathetic because of work / breakup with Masha / salary cut” and so on.
  • If you cannot determine what you are feeling, then close your eyes. Relax. Now think about the problem at the moment of its maximum manifestation. How do you feel now that you are in this situation again?
  • A trick for those who have not decided on the answer: Imagine how you suddenly started to feel. How would you feel then? What are the assumptions?
  • Be persistent and take care of yourself. After several passes of tapping, your feelings/feelings will change. At the same time, change your setup phrase for the next round, describing new experiences.
  • If nothing changes at all, look for limiting beliefs or secondary benefits that are holding you back from healing and work with them.
  • The method is quite simple - you can even teach it to a child, in children the results come even faster.
