Useful tips for school. How to survive in school: tips for students and their parents

It is not easy to prepare a child for school. And the student himself is not always able to cope with all the difficulties and problems that arise in the process of educational activities. For this purpose, advice to schoolchildren was developed.

When the baby is going to the first grade, the parents always accompany him and are nearby. They help him with his homework, tell him how to behave in the classroom, with teachers, classmates, escort him to school and meet him from school. However, there comes a time when the child must become independent, go to school on his own, do his homework, in a word, observe certain rules.

Due to their nature, most students do not like to study and are inattentive during class. Their behavior depends on many factors, among which the most common are the atmosphere in the house, lack of control from parents, unconsciousness of actions. But during school hours, you can not only gain knowledge in the field of certain subjects, but also learn a lot of useful things.

For example, about how to act in a new situation, how to behave with strangers, what should be the first actions in inadequate and unusual cases. All these things must be known. In addition, they should be presented to the student not only by parents, but also by teachers. This will help the child avoid unforeseen circumstances and possible troubles.

So, what are the useful tips for students? When it comes to learning, in this case, the emphasis should be on such things as attention during class, academic performance, communication with classmates, relationships with teachers.

Attention during class is one of the factors for successful learning. Many schoolchildren do not attach much importance to this and behave quite loyally in the classroom. They talk with classmates on the desk, turn around, get distracted by jokes, dream, do something else.

As a result, they skip a new topic. There is no guarantee that they will try to catch up at home. They won't do their homework. All this leads to the fact that the student begins to lag behind, he becomes more and more confused and, as a result, does not participate in the performance of any tasks at all.

To avoid this, during classes you need to be extremely careful. If something from what was said was missed, you need to raise your hand and ask again. If this could not be done during the lesson, it is necessary to go to the teacher during the break or after class and ask to explain or present the missing part of the new topic. If the student understands a new topic, then it will be much easier for him to master the subsequent educational material.

And in order not to miss anything from what was presented by the teacher, you always need to use a pen, notebook, textbook. Sometimes during a lesson a student needs to leave the class. Do not be shy, endure and sacrifice yourself. To do this, just raise your hand and ask the teacher to leave the classroom. Otherwise, you can harm yourself without mastering new material.

As for academic performance, in this case it is not a fact that the student was inattentive during the lessons. Sometimes factors such as genetic predisposition, poor hearing or poor eyesight, illness, forced absences can cause a student to fail. To resolve this issue, the student himself must approach the teacher and speak frankly with him about the problems that have arisen or are present.

The teacher will always understand and go forward. In addition, there are other rules of performance that each student must take into account for himself. First, every time you come home, you need to open the diary and see what lessons await him for tomorrow. Do not postpone their implementation for the evening, but proceed to them immediately.

Secondly, it is necessary to prioritize the subjects, that is, to find out which lessons need to be done first and which ones later. Thirdly, during the lessons, do not be distracted by watching movies and programs, listening to music on headphones, empty negotiations with family members. The learning atmosphere at school and even more so in the classroom is important and can affect the child's psyche.

It is very important to be able to behave with classmates, friends and teachers. After all, it largely depends on whether the child wants to continue to study at this school. Therefore, you need to be able to communicate with children, not withdraw into yourself, be more friendly and open, respectful of both classmates and teachers. It is very important to know how to behave outside of the classroom and outside the classroom.

Be sure to consider the following rules and tips. You should always keep your phone with you and do not turn it off under any conditions and circumstances. This is necessary so that close people (parents, neighbors, friends and classmates) have the opportunity to contact in case of unforeseen factors.

In addition, you need to monitor whether the phone is charged or not. In order not to encounter such a problem, it is better to put it on charge every evening. In addition, you must remember that it is worth going to school and returning from it only with people you know. If you can't do this with parents or family members, you can use the services of neighborhood children and go to school with them.

On the way, never contact or talk with strangers. If for some reason you cannot go with any of the above persons, you should always try to be in front of people, that is, choose a road that is always crowded and light.

If some unpleasant situation happened on the way to school, be sure to call your parents and warn them about it or notify the direct teacher. If the school had some kind of incident between schoolchildren or a fight, in no case should you take part in this. This can heat up the atmosphere even more and, in addition, there is a chance of getting damaged during a showdown.

You should always be careful about your belongings. Naturally, during the break you can’t sit next to your things, you have to leave for any questions. Therefore, in order to avoid unpleasant moments with the loss of some items from personal belongings, you should not take valuables with you to school. If it so happened that the student came to school ahead of time and there was no one else, then he should stay close to the teacher's room or classroom.

In any case, soon one of the classmates or teachers will come up, and there is a chance of not being alone for a long time. You should never cross the road without observing the basic rules of behavior on a pedestrian road. You need to cross the street only on the green color, do not rush, do not be distracted.

As for the elementary rules of conduct, they must also be observed. When entering the classroom, be sure to say hello to both the teacher and classmates. It is ugly to neglect this rule, thereby showing respect and respect for others. If the bell rang, do not immediately jump up from your seat, dropping everything and everyone on the go. You should wait until the teacher finishes his sentence, reaches a logical climax and gives permission to go to recess.

When entering or leaving a classroom, it is rude to slam the door. It is better to hold it and cover it quietly so as not to disturb others and not to frighten them. If during the lesson a question arose, do not shout from your seat and shout over the others. To do this, just raise your hand and ask the teacher a question. In addition, you need to carefully treat both your textbooks and household items in the classroom.

Many schoolchildren have a habit of drawing in books, on a desk, on a ruler. This is very ugly and speaks of the upbringing of a person. You should not distract others during the lessons, pull girls by the hair, laugh at those who could not answer the question, call someone loudly. As for the rule of conduct at home, there are a number of tips here.

If the student is left at home alone, then he should adhere to the following mandatory tips. Never open the door to strangers, even if they claim that they are close friends and acquaintances of the parents. It is worth asking the names of those who break in and tell family members about it. Never attempt to repair electrical appliances yourself.

At first glance, it may seem elementary and uncomplicated to do something, but ignorance of the rules of physics can lead to deplorable circumstances. If suddenly calls from strangers come to the phone, you should not answer them or not say that there is no one in the house.

If the calls do not stop, it is worth warning family members about this or dialing the number of the rescue team. Thus, all of the above tips and recommendations for schoolchildren will allow them to avoid unpleasant moments both in the process of studying at school and outside it. These tips and rules should be given by parents at home and teachers at school. Extreme caution on the street and at home, attention in the classroom, academic performance and demeanor will make a decent and successful person out of an ordinary student.

So, the article reviewed and highlighted the main tips and points that should be considered and kept in mind by every student, regardless of what grade he is in. This applies to everyone, both boys and girls.

How to start making friends
I exchanged phone numbers and VKontakte data with new classmates. We found common interests. These are football, skating and computer games.
Now we can exchange news, jokes and homework.
Many in our class go to school on their own. We go home together and walk a little along the road.
We walk in the yard after homework, go skating and even play hockey.
I'm glad I moved to a new school.

Tips on how to behave in a new school
I have moved to a new class and now, on my mistakes, I will begin to write advice to those who are passing. Although the old class did not have such close friends, but there were good relations with the whole class and almost friendship with someone. There was someone to quarrel with, fight, who to ask what I didn’t understand in class or about homework. And here is a new class and everyone knows each other. I'm new and don't know anyone. And nobody cares who I am, and I don't know who they are.
I try to get acquainted and I will write what happened to make it easier for others.
Tips for a first grader
Do not be afraid of anything. Behave quietly, calmly, in the early days it is better not to stray far from the teacher. Look around. Get to know your roommate. Do not quarrel with him - you will help each other in the lesson, share paints or an eraser. In general, it is better not to quarrel with anyone in the class, at least at the beginning of the year. Then you yourself will understand when you can joke in the classroom, run around during the break, or with whom to quarrel. At first, be careful with food in the dining room - try, look, smell. If you like it, you can eat. If the food doesn't like it, smells bad or looks bad, don't risk it. If the teacher scolds you and promises to talk to your parents, it's better to talk to them first.

How to dress for gym class
From the first to the third grade for the physical education lesson, we change clothes in the same class. Both boys and girls. In the first grade, many people forgot their physical education form. In the second grade, many forgot to wear shorts under their uniforms. If you have a gym class, put everything you need - pants, a T-shirt, socks in advance. Don't forget to wear underwear. Change your clothes carefully so that you don’t pull off too much along with your pants.
No one will laugh, most likely. But the nastiest guys can remember a naked ass and then tell everyone. Maybe nonsense, but unpleasant. In our first grade, a boy in pantyhose walked, until now he is sometimes remembered for this.
Put everything taken in one pile, do not scatter.

How to use the toilet

When you come in, be sure to look around - high school students can smoke in the toilet, guys from other classes can fight there. If you see a company, it is better to wait until they come out or use another toilet. Therefore, never endure until the last moment, so that there is an opportunity to be in time for another place.
The toilet at school should be used in the same way as the elevator at home - do not enter together with other adults and unfamiliar companies of any age.
Please note that the toilet doors do not close. Always remember this. Stupid students take stupid photos and post them on the Internet.
Don't think the teacher can't go into the men's room, she can. Or she might call a high school student to get the younger boys out of the closet.
Toilet paper is usually given out in the classroom, but it's better to do it all at home - it's cleaner and quieter there.
Be sure to wash your hands.

How to find friends

There are guys who can come up and offer to be friends. Most likely, they are so suitable for everyone, but still do not refuse. You can approach someone yourself. Even if this someone refuses, nothing bad or terrible, you can go to another.
Look who's into what. Choose someone who enjoys the same things as you. Offer to get involved together - to collect, change, discuss, show off, consider, and so on.
If there are none, try to get carried away by other people's hobbies. Explain to your parents why you suddenly needed bokugans, collectible cars, a Winx notebook and other attributes. It doesn't have to be a big collection. Just bring something to school and play during recess, or better yet, offer it to those who are interested in it.
If you can just join a company, do it boldly, as if you have always been friends with them and were part of the team. Even if they came to school from the same kindergarten.
Participate in competitions. Decide for yourself when and to whom you need to give in, and when to win with all your might.
Ask, be interested, congratulate, say hello and say goodbye to classmates. It's always nice and they will definitely say something in return. Here is the conversation. And from conversation to friendship close.

What to do if you urgently need to leave the classroom

For example, you urgently need to go to the toilet. Raise your hand, ask "Can I go out?"
Most likely the teacher will let you.
If you suddenly ask why or forbid, say "I need to go out."
And get out. They won't catch you and keep you out. In any case, it's much better than pissing or crap one's pants in front of everyone. If the teacher starts scolding, call your mother. Or tell about this case in the evening. Remember that you did everything right. And nothing bad will happen. Most importantly, explain everything to your parents. If they have the opportunity and time, they will talk to the teacher and such problems will not happen again.

What do you do if you still can't get out?

If the pants become wet, pour some liquid on them in front of everyone, as if by accident. If the drawing lesson - you're lucky - carefully pour water from the brush glass onto the table. "Oh, I accidentally spilled the water!"
Even if you don't have time, try to get out of the class. Go to the toilet, wipe wet places, change clothes, if you have something, for example, gym pants. Tell everyone that you accidentally wet it. Or leave it like that. Call your parents, ask for advice. Your main task is not to panic, not to blush and not to be afraid of anything. Even if someone understands everything, they start laughing, this is stupid, feel free to call names in response. Or approach your teacher for advice. But the teacher can start saving you in front of the whole class and loudly. So decide for yourself..

Behavior in the classroom

The main goal of students in the lesson- the acquisition of knowledge.

When the teacher explains new material, you need to listen very carefully.

The better you understand a new topic, the easier it will be for you to master the subsequent educational material, the faster you will complete your homework, the higher your marks will be.

In order not to miss anything from the teacher's explanations, one must be extremely attentive and concentrated. And that requires silence.

Before the lesson Remove from the backpack all the necessary training supplies:

1) notebooks; 2) diary; 3) textbook; 4) pen, pencil, ruler, etc.

During the lesson be quiet and calm; do not talk to neighbors and do not be distracted by extraneous things.

If you do not understand or hear something, do not ask other students, but contact the teacher.

Raise your hand if you want to ask the teacher something, or if you want to answer his question, or if you need to leave.

✏ Do not yell or interrupt the teacher. Do not get up without the teacher's permission.

When your classmate answers, listen carefully to what he says. Don't prompt him if he doesn't know the answer. If he speaks incorrectly, do not shout from your seat. Raise your hand and wait for the teacher to speak to you.

If the teacher called you to answer, speak loudly, clearly, distinctly. Correct and confident speech commands respect and indicates that you are ready for the lesson and know the answer to the question.

Do not copy from your neighbors: this is not only ugly and unworthy, but also distracts other students from the work.

Try to keep order in your workplace.

Write legibly and neatly in notebooks and diaries. Good handwriting shows respect for whoever reads what you have written.

Treat textbooks with care, whether they are your own or borrowed from the school library.

Do not occupy all the space on the desk with your things; remember that your classmate is sitting next to you.

✏ Being courteous and respectful of other people is essential in class and during recess.

When the teacher or other adult enters the classroom, the students stand up to greet them. When an adult leaves the classroom, all students must also stand up.

When entering the classroom, be sure to say hello to the teacher and your classmates. When you leave class, don't forget to say goodbye.

Don't be late for class without a good reason. If you are late, please knock before entering the classroom. Then say hello, apologize for being late, quietly and quickly sit down in your seat.

If you need to leave the class before it ends, be sure to ask the teacher for permission.

If you need to leave the classroom during the lesson, please raise your hand. You may leave the classroom only with the teacher's permission.

When you hear the bell announcing the end of the lesson, do not jump up. Leave the classroom only with the permission of the teacher.

When entering or leaving the classroom, hold the door behind you, trying not to slam it so as not to distract others.

Never use your cell phone during class. If you forgot to turn off your phone and it rang in class, apologize and turn it off immediately.

Never chew gum in class. Do not eat or drink anything, hoping that the teacher will not notice. Even if you are very hungry, wait for a change.

You spend most of your time in the classroom. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain cleanliness and order there.

Take care of the furniture (desks, chairs, cabinets, shelves, blackboard), appliances, books, paintings, posters, diagrams, portraits that are in the classroom: in no case do not write on the desks and walls, do not scratch or break furniture, do not paint portraits and posters, do not crease or tear books. After all, you will have to use these things for a long time. Treat school property as if it were your own.

It's good when friendship with classmates starts by itself and the school becomes practically a second home. But what to do if not everything is so smooth? Show miracles of diplomacy, be wise and patient! How to do it? Let's tell now!

Like-minded people: how to find them?

It is much easier to build good relationships with those who are somewhat similar to you. With those who have the same interests and hobbies. Is your classmate Masha, like you, interested in biology? This is a great opportunity to work together on a report or project, even if you have not been friends before. The main thing is not to be afraid to take the initiative, because most of the peers would be happy to make a new acquaintance, but are embarrassed to take the first step, despite their proud appearance.

Do any of the guys listen to music that you like? Fine! Ask them about new bands and songs or tell them yourself. Musical preferences are generally a very important topic, it is about feelings, emotions and even fashion, and it always unites, and this is very valuable!

But what if no one in the class shares your hobbies, and your feelings and thoughts are not understood? Don't get frustrated and don't rush to change just to please others.

First of all, you need to understand: are you somehow different from the rest, or do you just want to stand out from their background?

Whether you're longboarding while others paint roses on their nails, or reading and re-reading books while others discuss series, we've got good news for you: being special is something to be proud of! After all, this means that you think outside the box and do what you like.

Remember that everything in life changes. Your tastes can also change, and you can find like-minded people among your classmates. Or maybe one of them will soon begin to share your interests!

Life is unpredictable: now you have nothing in common with your desk mate, and tomorrow he will create a fan chat for your favorite series. Learn to discover new things in people!

Compliments and support: how not to overdo it?

Do you like being praised and nice words said? Well, others too! Did you see a beautiful dress from a classmate? Be sure to compliment her, she will be pleased! A classmate prepared an interesting report on history? Do not envy, but praise him. Do you see someone in a bad mood or tears in their eyes? Step up, offer help, or just listen - sometimes that's enough.

Why can't you overdo it? If you praise everyone and reassure “for show”, your classmates will notice or feel it. Insincerity can be seen from a mile away and always aggravates the situation, and you can also get a reputation as a sucker. Therefore, show participation sincerely and only when it is really appropriate.

Empathy - what is it and why do I need it?

Empathy is understanding the feelings of another person and the ability to put yourself in his place. Can you imagine what's going through your friend's head when she got a bad grade, or your sister's when she had a fight with someone? Can you not add fuel to the fire? In order to better understand people and quickly find a common language with them, often imagine yourself in the place of others and try to treat them the way you would like to be treated.

Gossip: how to be above it?

It is one thing to speak only good things about a person, but it is quite another to spread rumors behind his back and arrange a real epidemic. If someone told you gossip, ask yourself the question: “Would I like to be told this about me?” And if not, make sure that the chain ends on you. And if you yourself have become a victim of unpleasant slander, the advice familiar from childhood will work: do not pay attention.

The gossip needs your reaction: tears, screams... But, in general, it doesn't matter what it will be. But if in a situation that is uncomfortable for you, you manage to maintain your composure, then in the future it will never occur to anyone to laugh at you. Because you are above it. This means that your offenders will quickly lose their interest.

But what if ignoring doesn't help at all? You're not going to transfer to another school because of a couple of gossips! There is no other way out - you will have to talk with your offenders. Try to talk to someone who spreads gossip about you in private, extra ears are useless here. Keep your composure and never raise your voice. Find out the reason why people gossip about you. It is possible that you offended someone who is talking nasty things about you now. Or maybe it's just jealousy? In any case, knowing the reason for such conversations will help you deal with them faster.

Bullying: how to avoid it?

Almost everyone is familiar with the situation when the class is divided into several isolated groups that do not perceive each other. Or even worse: when everyone starts to poison one of the students. Now this is called the buzzword "bullying". This is where the empathy exercise comes in handy again. Put yourself in the place of the one whom everyone teases, offends, humiliates. What is it like to study in such a class? Does he like going to school? In what mood does he wake up in the morning? Are you sure you want to be a part of this mess?

Try to remain neutral and sane. And if it is in your power, then try to help the one who is offended. First, get your friends on your side. And be sure to draw the attention of your class teacher to what is happening. If everyone is bullying one, it is not at all necessary that the problem is in him. Much more often, it turns out that other relationships in the class are not as good as you might think before.

What to do if you are the target of bullying? Unfortunately, there is no universal recipe. It is impossible to sort things out one-on-one with your offender, it is completely ineffective. You need to work with the whole company, because there are always more than two participants in bullying. After all, your class and teachers are witnesses who are also affected by the unfolding drama. They also take part in the process, albeit as observers.

The main thing you need to do is call bullying bullying, violence, indicate that the actions of the aggressors have been noticed, and you want to stop it. Do not under any circumstances hesitate! If you keep quiet and endure because you might be considered a snitch, the situation will only get worse! Report that you are being bullied to your class teacher or school psychologist. Talking to the whole class is not only your concern, but also the direct responsibility of adults and experienced teachers.

What kind of relationship do you have with your classmates?
