Complete list of school supplies. How to choose school supplies

Good day dear parents! If a child goes to grade 1, then the question will certainly arise about what needs to be bought for school.

Today, this matter is much easier. To avoid misunderstandings, teachers at the first parent-teacher meetings (and in some educational institutions this happens already in April-May) issue a list of stationery for the school. This makes life much easier for parents. I took the treasured piece of paper with me and went around the store to cross out “I bought this, I bought this ...”.

If the teachers did not take care of you, we are ready to help, and on the advice of experienced parents, today we will compile this list for a first grader.

The article may also be useful for those parents who have chosen stationery as a gift for graduation in kindergarten.

So, let's begin.

Lesson plan:

Filling the pencil case

I will not dwell on the fact that preparation for school begins. This is already clear, and on ShkolaLa you can find an article on how to choose it. we also talked to you. Therefore, I go straight to the point, that is, to filling.

Pens

For a first grader, gel pens are banned. To develop the skills of calligraphic handwriting, ballpoints are needed. Those that have a rubber stop ring are recommended. It teaches the child.

Schools usually require 2 pens in case one gets lost or doesn't want to write anymore. But this is one of the most consumable items, always disappearing somewhere, so if you don’t want to return to these purchases during the school year, then immediately take 10 pieces with a blue rod. Believe me, you won't regret it.

In addition to blue, the school will need one red and one green to highlight words in texts in the Russian language and in mathematics to draw figures in different colors.

Simple pencils

In grade 1, teachers require medium-hard pencils marked TM or HB. It is better if they are ribbed and wooden, with edges, because they are easier and more comfortable to hold than smooth cylindrical and plastic ones.

The rubber band at the end of the pencil is usually not of special quality, so you should not focus on it and overpay. In addition, after about a month, it is usually eaten by a “hungry for knowledge” student, so is it necessary?

The number rule for pencils is similar to pens - 2 with you to school, the rest are spare at home, therefore there are 10 pieces.

On a note! If yours, ask the seller for office supplies for such special children. Pens and pencils for them are really different from the standard ones, which makes it easier for left-handers to write.

Eraser

Do not try to buy a miniature one - it is inconvenient, flies out of your hands with heavy use and aims somewhere far under the desk, from where it is problematic to get it. Take a soft eraser of medium size, preferably white or gray, as blue or red often leaves an unpleasant color mark behind. Praise Czech "Koh-I-Noor".

Pencil sharpener

If at home it can be a super-device for perfect sharpening, then it is quite compact in a school pencil case. The only requirement is a container for shavings, otherwise the whole class will turn into a dumping ground for sharpened pencils. Believe me, teachers will not thank you for such a freebie.

Ruler

Many teachers ask to purchase wooden ones, as they do not slide on a notebook sheet. And yet, unlike flexible plastic ones, it is more difficult to pull them back so that this object bounces right into the forehead of an unlucky deskmate.

The length of the ruler is at least 20 cm, the countdown must certainly begin from zero. One for school, one for home.

Colour pencils

Many of them are placed in a pencil case, and some use special tubes or buy them in iron boxes. It does not matter where they will be stored, the main thing is that there are at least 6 of them, preferably 12 colors with a soft lead. Buy two sets so that the child does not constantly crawl into the briefcase for homework. You can draw with Marco and Faber-Castell brands.

Pay attention to the domestic (yes, not at all foreign) stationery manufacturer ErichKrause - the brand is inexpensive and of high quality. Good reviews won pens and pencils from "BiC".

Well, it seems that they coped with the school pencil case, they decided on the supplies for the upcoming academic year. Let's move on to specific subjects.

Office for main occupations

Diary

If it is required already in grade 1 and is not included in the software package of textbooks, then here for every taste and color. Try to pick it up with a tighter cover so that it lives until May safe and sound.

Although, there are exceptions here too. For example, in our school, diaries for all students from grades 1 to 11 are the same. And they are called "Diary of a Lipetsk schoolboy." And they are bought immediately for all the guys, we just have to hand over the money.

Notebooks

Which ones, the teacher usually indicates. Recently, notebooks in oblique and frequent rulers and large cells have become obsolete. Today, more and more teachers are asking for a regular cage and a wide ruler. Therefore, if you have not been told yet, take for the first time standard 12 sheets each: 5 pieces in a cell and 5 pieces in a wide range.

But to decide on the design is a direct problem, eyes run wide. And with bunnies, and with pussies, and with cars, and with transformers. There aren't any! But there are also plain green ones, from our childhood. So, teachers recommend just such, unpretentious.

First, there will be at least some uniformity.

Secondly, there will be no reason to brag in the classroom instead of listening to educational material.

And then, our Soviet copies are also the usual quality of paper plus a cheap price, which cannot be said about newfangled notebooks, where they save on the inside, making a bright color on the outside.

Covers

Far in the past are the days when textbooks were wrapped in a newspaper or a special film was tightly glued to them with an iron. Today, stationery manufacturers offer whole sets of sizes. With the size of notebooks, everything is simple, buy 10-15 pieces for them at once, but sellers advise buying covers for textbooks, trying on "on the spot" so as not to fly by with the size.

Bookmarks

A mandatory requirement of the school is for each textbook. By the way, you can make bookmarks with your own hands.

You may need materials for counting and fans with letters, but each teacher has his own means at hand, so do not rush to waste money. Right at the first lessons they will not be needed, and then at the meeting they will tell you which and where to buy.

For a drawing lesson

Album. Two, 40 sheets each, are enough for a young artist for a year, and teachers ask for springs so that the leaves can be torn out without consequences for the integrity of the entire album.

Paints. Some should be watercolors of at least 6, preferably 12 colors, others - gouache, from 6 colors with white and black necessarily included. Russian manufacturers Gamma and Luch offer good paints.

Brushes. There are, of course, sets, but you can buy separately. The numbers of brushes are 3.5 and 9, but whose tail is squirrels or ponies, that's how you like it.

Non-spill cup. It may consist of one department or two.

Many teachers ask to wear an oilcloth so as not to stain the desk, and an apron so as not to stain the clothes. We put everything in a folder for drawing, so as not to decorate the contents of the portfolio.

For a labor lesson

Colored paper. How much and what kind you want, whether it is velvet, whether it is shiny, but there must be one ordinary one among the sets, without frills.

Cardboard. For crafts, you will need both color and plain white.

Scissors. The ends of scissors for first-graders should be rounded so as not to injure themselves or their desk mate.

Glue. It can be a pencil (it is convenient for school) and PVA with a dispenser (you can leave it at home). Don't forget the brush!

For the “Gamma” and “Beam” already known to us, select a set where there are 12 colors.

As in the drawing class, teachers for work are asked to bring something that can be put on the desk. It can be an oilcloth, but a small board is more convenient for modeling. An apron or sleeves will also come in handy, but you can use those for a drawing lesson.

We put all personal belongings in a folder for work, so that notebooks and textbooks do not stick together with glue or plasticine.

Miscellaneous utilities

There are many other useful things that will be useful for study, among them:

  • a notebook folder is a very practical thing so that the notebooks are not scattered all over the portfolio and crumpled “into accordions”, but are stored in one folder.
  • coasters - a cup for stationery and a stand for textbooks, it is better to choose them from metal so that they do not turn over under the weight of the office and books.
  • a schedule is a necessary thing in order to properly pack a portfolio for school.

So, let's sum it up:

  • pens and pencils,
  • sharpener, ruler, eraser,
  • notebooks and covers
  • album, watercolors, gouache and colored pencils,
  • brushes for drawing and glue,
  • colored paper and cardboard, white cardboard,
  • scissors, glue,
  • oilcloth, apron.

It seems like you didn't forget anything? Then go shopping! If we missed something, tell us in the comments, we will be very grateful.

Evgenia Klimkovich.

August is the time not only for the last holidays, but also for school fees. Parents know firsthand what it's like to stand in long lines for school supplies, pick up the uniform that is allowed in your school. And God forbid, if something in this running around is forgotten. Children at a young age may panic if they do not purchase all school supplies by the start of the school year. To facilitate your walking "through the throes", sorry, shopping, we present to your attention a ready-made list of school supplies.

  • The list of school supplies for elementary grades implies the first experience of young parents in the purchase of stationery. At this age, the school curriculum pays a lot of attention to creativity, so the shopping list, in addition to classic notebooks and pens, will include plasticine, drawing kits, cardboard, colored paper, and even an apron for work.
  • What should be on a school supplies list? Parents should pay much attention to the choice of a school bag. In many schools, even first-graders are given a heavy workload with numerous lessons, which means that the child will have to carry a lot of books and didactic materials in their portfolio. A school bag should not put pressure on the fragile spine of your child, should not rub and, of course, should be practical and roomy.
  • Also, do not forget about the convenience of seemingly ordinary pens. Many children smear themselves with paste and cannot develop beautiful handwriting due to a bad pen. Today in stores there is a large assortment and you can choose a good product. Pay attention to exercise pens that can help your child write beautifully.

School supplies for high school

The senior classes have a smaller list of school supplies, but teenagers are more scrupulous about the choice. Therefore, parents should not bother their children with their recommendations. Do not say that a notebook with flowers is not serious. The best thing you can do is pay for a basket of goods that he chose himself. First of all, you should pay attention to the number of notebooks. Many older schoolchildren buy 5-6 common notebooks and use them on different subjects. This attitude shows how unreasonable your child is about learning. Find out the list of subjects that will be taught this school year and buy the same number of notebooks, you can even buy a little more.

You can buy school supplies today in many stores and special kiosks, but we suggest you save time (and maybe money) and buy everything you need for school in our children's online store))

The list of necessary school supplies is very long, but traditionally a backpack or satchel tops it.
For each new school year, many new types of school backpacks for boys and girls are released. Here you will find a variety of backpacks: orthopedic - both for primary school students and for teenagers; lightweight ergonomic backpacks for high school students; more strict backpacks in appearance - for high school students.

All changing bags are made of waterproof fabric and are easy to wash. And they are all very cute.

What are the pencil cases?
First, with or without filling. Filled pencil cases are already equipped with the most necessary school stationery items. The usual content of such pencil cases: 2-3 pens, pencils of different hardness, 6-12 felt-tip pens, an eraser, a sharpener, a ruler, etc.
Secondly, pencil cases come with a different number of compartments: with one, two or three. What your child needs - decide for yourself, based on the characteristics or desires of the child.
Thirdly, pencil cases come in different shapes: rectangular, pencil cases-tubes and cosmetic cases with a triangular section.
Fourthly, pencil cases have a variety of colors for boys and girls. The pencil cases often depict heroes of cartoons beloved by children.

Modern schoolchildren mostly use ballpoint pens. But many also use gel pens of different colors for different school and extracurricular purposes.
We also have fountain pens - those who like to write especially beautifully write with such pens. And who just loves to write. To draw letters with a pen - there is some special pleasure in this))) Among the fountain pens we have, there is also the most famous -

Pencils are needed for students of all grades. The most common hardness is medium or soft. But for high school students for drawing lessons, pencils are needed, both harder and softer. And all this is in our online store in the black lead pencils section.

Markers are needed for a variety of things. In principle, 6 colors are enough for school needs, but for lovers of shades, you can pick up sets of felt-tip pens from 12 to 24 colors.

All notebooks are laid out with us according to their functional features: thin, common in a box (A5 and A4 format), common in a ruler. We also have block notebooks for high school students along with interchangeable blocks.

We draw the attention of collection lovers that this year all school supplies can be chosen with any one design. The contents of these collections are different. For example, the Unicorn, Panda, Abstractions, Ferrari collections include all the necessary items - from large to small, that is, from a backpack to items of the smallest stationery. You can even find coasters, erasers and crayons in these collections. Other collections, such as air cyclist, all-terrain vehicle, are not as wide in composition, but they include the most important and conspicuous (in size) school supplies: backpack, pencil case, change bag, diary, etc.

Thanks to the active participation of mothers, an optimal list of school supplies was compiled, mothers gave competent advice about school purchases.

Save the list as a bookmark, give it to friends and acquaintances who are planning school fees. This is the best list compiled by experienced parents of schoolchildren and "newbies"!

Sundress, skirt - 1-2 pcs. Also, the school may require that they be sent off in a certain place.

office

School pencil case (with or without filling).

Comments: The pencil case-cosmetic bag is capacious, allows you to carefully put colored pencils, pens, a ruler, rubber bands in their places. But it takes up a lot of space. The pencil case is more suitable for older students (they no longer need colored pencils). And it's compact. If you understand that your child is unlikely to scrupulously lay out the office, buy a tube. It will also fit everything you need in a smaller amount. You can buy both cases just in case. Choose a pencil case made of soft fabric (to maintain silence: pencil cases fall loudly!) with a secure zipper. It serves all year round - don't skimp on quality.

What to buy for school? This issue is especially relevant for parents of first-graders, because 10 or even 15 years have passed since they graduated from school. Everything has changed. Therefore, we present to your attention a list of what is necessary for school for a future first grader.

The choice of supplies for the student, of course, depends on the school in which your child will study. And every modern school on its website puts out a list of what a first grader needs to buy.

Here is a shopping list for a first grader from a school in Moscow.

List of school supplies for a first grader to school

  1. School uniform
  2. Indoor shoes
  3. Briefcase
  4. Shoe bag
  5. 10 squared notebooks
  6. 10 narrow lined notebooks
  7. Pencil case (in a pencil case 2 pens, a pencil, an eraser, 6 colored pencils)
  8. Gouache or watercolor
  9. Sketchbook
  10. colored paper
  11. colored cardboard
  12. Glue stick
  13. Plasticine
  14. Scissors

And now let's analyze this list, taking into account experienced parents and on the advice of a primary school teacher of the highest category.

  1. School uniform.

What should be the school uniform in your school is written in the charter of the school. If you do not want to read 20-30 pages, then we advise you to call the school principal or secretary and ask a direct question: "Which school uniform to buy and where???"

Believe me, you will definitely be consulted, because each head of an educational institution is responsible for the appearance of his students. At the same time, do not forget to mention the girl you have or the boy, since in many schools the color of the uniform for girls and boys is different.

  1. Briefcase.

Most importantly, your child should like the portfolio. Don't skimp on the price. The briefcase will be carried daily by your child on his back, and the posture of a schoolboy very often changes precisely from the wrong briefcases in elementary school.

So, the briefcase should be light and with a solid back. Possibly orthopedic. (the price of an orthopedic portfolio is high!)

  1. Indoor shoes.

Change should be comfortable! Preferably made from natural materials, breathable and true to size. Often, low-quality shoes leave streaks on the parquet floors of the school. Therefore, if you do not have time to participate in class cleaning, purchase shoes with non-black soles.

  1. A bag or bag for a change of shoes.

Here you can save. Since the change bag is left in the locker room and is not worn at school. However, please note that winter shoes must fit in this bag!

  1. notebooks in a cell. 12 sheets.

Remember! Notebook in a normal cage, like in high school. No need to buy a wide cage.

If your teacher says that the first month the child will write in a wide cage, then you will somehow find one notebook in any stationery store.

  1. Narrow lined notebooks. 12 sheets.

This is more difficult, since different notebooks are printed in a narrow line. Our teacher advised us this:

At first there should be an inclined line.

After half a year, you can write in another notebook, also in a narrow line:

You can buy 5 notebooks of these and 5 notebooks of others. They will come in handy in 2nd grade.

  1. Pencil case.

The child must love it! It is better to collect the pencil case yourself!

Handles - 2, preferably with rubberized inserts.

A simple pencil is hard.

Eraser. Check that it erases well and does not tear the paper.

Colour pencils. It is advisable to take more expensive ones, they do not break so quickly and are easily sharpened. Enough 6 primary colors. But if coloring books are used at school in drawing lessons, then the more shades of colors, the brighter and more interesting the drawing will turn out.

  1. Gouache. Watercolor.

Not all teachers use gouache and watercolor in their work. But my advice is to let the child get acquainted with gouache and watercolor already in the first grade. After all, you will have to draw additionally to participate in various drawing competitions, where both gouache and watercolor come in handy.

  1. Album for drawing.

You will determine the number of sheets in the album yourself, but we advise you to buy an album where sheets are easily torn out. After all, your child will not always tear the sheet out of the album neatly.

  1. Colored paper.

The best colored paper is double sided. You can buy velvet colored paper, you can use foil, etc. The more diverse the colored paper, the more interesting the applications will be for your child.

  1. Colored cardboard.

Make sure that there is white among the colored cardboard. If not, buy white cardboard separately.

  1. Glue is a pencil.

It is difficult to find glue - a pencil that would glue cardboard, fabric, natural material, etc. equally well. Therefore, we advise you to buy also PVA glue and teach your child to be careful.

  1. Plasticine.

Plasticine choose one that does not stick to your hands. On the packaging they often write: “Does not get your hands dirty!”

  1. Scissors.

Choose scissors that are comfortable for your child in advance.

If your child is left-handed, buy special scissors for left-handed children.

LIST OF WHAT YOU CAN NOT BUY OR BUY, AFTER Clarification

  1. Diary.

There are no diaries in first grade! If you yourself fill out a diary for your child, buy it, but this is not the responsibility of a first grader.

  1. Notebook.

This thing can replace your child's diary. Useful for play and drawing.

  1. Notebook in a wide cage(at the request of the teacher)
  2. Jar for drawing lessons(if not at school), sometimes they buy in an organized way with the whole class.
  3. Palette(of necessity)
  4. Paint brushes and glue. Buy only after the teacher's recommendations. Each art teacher names the characteristics of the necessary brushes.
  5. Apron and sleeves. If your child does not know how to get dirty, they will not be useful to him.
  6. Board for plasticine. Often issued by the teacher to the lesson. Sometimes children sculpt on sheets of cardboard.
  7. Pencil sharpener. It's just a distraction in class.

If the teacher allows you to use, or at recess.

  1. Ruler. What size ruler is needed, the teacher will tell you. Do not hurry!
  2. Compass not needed. Rare in certain curricula.
  3. Physical form. Each teacher tells what kind of uniform is needed for physical education lessons.
