VEPI was founded in 1997 to provide highly qualified specialists to enterprises and institutions of the Voronezh region and the Central Chernozem region. Students of the Faculty of Economics receive training in the field of modern economic theory, study the disciplines of the mathematical cycle, modern information processing technologies, statistics, econometrics. Fundamental training is combined with the study of applied disciplines: corporate finance, investment analysis, business planning, accounting, international auditing and financial reporting standards, taxation, financial management, banking and insurance, etc. All curricula are reviewed and approved by the National Research University HSE. The branch of the Voronezh Institute of Economics and Law in Orel was founded in 2004.
