Rationale for the choice of CMD

The program is focused on the study of basic economic concepts by Russian schoolchildren, the formation of common, and at the same time, fairly complete ideas about the processes associated with the economy, business and entrepreneurial activity among schoolchildren. At the same time, the program includes the basics of economic theory with an in-depth study of individual issues on the topics of the course. The main attention is paid to the study of microeconomics, explanation of the practical application of the laws and theories of economic science.

The course of economic theory is studied (economics) is studied according to the textbook:" Economy. Fundamentals of economic theory, edited by S.I. Ivanova 11th grade. - M., Vita - Press, 2013 The textbook has been updated taking into account the new educational standard in economics. The textbook is supplemented with a workshop: Workshop on the fundamentals of economic theory. Textbook for students in grades 10-11. / Ed. S.I. Ivanova - M., Publishing house VITA-PRESS, 2013.

General characteristics of the subject

The content of the course at the profile level ensures continuity in relation to the main school through an in-depth study, first of all, of the economics of the company and the state. The development of new content is carried out based on interdisciplinary connections with courses in social science, mathematics, history, geography, law, literature, etc.

In grade 10, the focus is on the study of microeconomics, explaining the practical application of the laws and theories of economic science. The program provides for an in-depth study of individual issues on course topics, such as the subject and method of economic science, the market system of management, demand, supply and market equilibrium, the firm, the markets for factors of production, and entrepreneurship.

Value orientations: The knowledge gained will allow students to form a holistic view of the essence of economic phenomena and their relationship.

The study of microeconomics ensures the formation of economic literacy in students, a culture of economic thinking and the ability to self-educate. Profile economic education involves the development of initial professional skills, as well as the development of basic skills for future work in the economic sphere.

Didactic principles in the subject "Economics":

Emphasis on competency-based orientation - students receive practice-oriented knowledge;

Modern economic education should problematize the limited resources and, as a result, the need for a careful attitude to the production factor "nature and raw materials";

Orientation of economic education to the development of entrepreneurial spirit;

Promoting the development of a positive attitude towards civil society;

Supporting the development of the ability to critically evaluate, especially in relation to economic relationships;

Formation of a positive attitude to work;

The place of the subject in the curriculum

The curriculum in economics in grades 10-11 should be viewed as a certain framework within which educational content can be distributed in accordance with the regional goals and objectives of educational institutions. The implementation of the framework curriculum is facilitated by the fact that in the Russian Federation there are regional and school components, the volume of which is at least 25% of the total content.
