Plan of self-study in English. How to create a training program

Hi friends! Today I decided to devote an article to a rather voluminous topic, how to build a language learning system and protect yourself from unnecessary mistakes on the way to your cherished goal. In fact, it will not work out completely without errors, but why not reduce their number?

How is it that people "learn" the language for years, but do not achieve results?

This is not the first year I have been working in the field of education (to be exact, then 9 years!). And I have observed more than once that people, not knowing where to start learning a language, buy courses from the series "how to learn English in X hours", instead of first thinking about why they are going to learn a language and what, based on this , will work for them! A technique or course will not suit everyone at once, unless there are thousands of program options inside.

The main mistake of beginners in terms of promoting the language: no route to destinations. When there is a direction, then opportunities appear, and the schedule is aligned. An understanding comes of what to teach and what will be superfluous, whether to look for a teacher and when to start speaking practice, and so on.

To organize the study of a foreign language does not mean to thoroughly prescribe each step. You need a base and the rest will build around it.

Language Learning Plan

  1. Understand WHY to learn a language.
Do this before searching for materials. I advise you to formulate a clear goal and determine the deadline for achieving it. In addition to the main goal, write down goals for the week, month and day (if you practice daily).
  2. Find time to exercise.
Schedule ... Someone has an hour a day, someone has a job from 9 to 7 and no options. A foreign language is like a sport! If you forget about him, he disappears from memory. So, analyze how much time you have and how much you are willing to devote to study. Define personal regularity in accordance with the rhythm of life. An hour every other day, 20 minutes a day, 5 minutes several times a day in between.
  3. Get help.
I believe that it is possible to master the language on your own, but the success of this event depends on a number of factors.

If you have been studying for more than a month, have a good base, use the language in practice confidently enough, then you are ready to train on your own using Internet resources every day and find yourself an interlocutor for practice on skype.

At the initial stage (especially from scratch and with the first foreign language), look for a teacher or courses. There are different options, for example, training through special platforms, . The cost is acceptable. You just need to search.

  1. Remember about attitude, motivation and patience.
I combine them together, because in combination they help in many ways, for example, to overcome the language barrier. You start with motivation, then develop the right attitude and patience with it. Remember that results will appear, but not immediately!
  2. Practice language skills.
Determine your stage of learning, goals and you will understand what exactly to teach. Constant training of skills is important, of course, with an emphasis on what you need. Remember your priorities.

Beginners: your task is to master basic vocabulary (minilex - the first 500 words and miniphrases - the first 100 expressions), grammar (sentence construction, question and negation, present, past and future tense) and pronunciation (sounds, combinations, transcription). For a simple conversation, the ability to talk about yourself and the interlocutor, family, work, hobbies, weather, friends is enough.

After mastering the base move on to topics that match the goal (travel, business trip, work, interview, specific vocabulary). In any case, prepare and print out a list of topics in order. Then note what you have passed and mastered.

Remember: you learned the theory - immediately put it into practice. Look for any opportunities to speak the language. Information on its own won't get you very far.

  1. Pick up resources.
To select effective programs, websites, applications, it is important to know your goal, tasks and schedule. For example, in an hour of a lesson, you can go through a grammar or vocabulary topic from an online textbook, as well as have time to do exercises on the topic. Short audio dialogues, radio and podcasts will help you out if you only have 5-10 minutes to spare. Prepare a clear list of materials and distribute them to different situations, as in the example.
  2. Maintain reporting.
This finishing touch will help you make sure that you are going in the right direction, that you have enough time for the language, that you get results, and that you can adjust the plan in time. Write every day or once a week a couple of sentences about the results of the day / week, or just note the amount of time that you managed to devote to classes.

How to set up a training system

When I came to Israel, I knew Hebrew at a basic level, then I went to courses here. Then there was a period when I didn’t study at all, and my social circle was only in Russian and English. The habit began to fade. I had to admit it. At some point, I realized that if I need this language, I need to do something.

I collected information, tried a lot of learning resources, analyzed my mistakes and eventually collected the best practices, which I now teach on individual programs. Now you too can test different language learning methods, find out what suits you, create motivation and get into the habit of regular practice.

If you put into practice even some of the tips, you will accelerate in learning a foreign language and learn how to use it in life.

On an individual program, you will fix the points from the plan above, plus you don’t have to look for resources: during the classes, I share the whole list and give step-by-step training schemes for each language skill.

Options for individual programs

  1. Consultation: One professional consultation can be enough for you to clarify what you do not understand, see the way forward, understand your strengths and weaknesses and how to apply it in practice.
  2. Individual master class: a master class allows you to carry out more comprehensive work to bring your foreign language to a new level and move on to its active use in practice. It consists of creating a personal route in learning the language and regular Skype calls as you progress through the plan.

If that's what you're looking for, join the program. Do not waste time looking for what has already been found and verified.

You will build a flexible language learning system that you can adjust depending on your changing goals.

As E. Reznikova said, "First - a plan, then an answer, whether the business was successful or not." A very correct aphorism. After all, timely planning eliminates many problems in any business. Therefore, everyone needs to form their own plan for learning English and develop some rules for effective language acquisition.

It should be noted that those who start studying a foreign language on their own are much more difficult than studying with tutors and professional teachers. You will need diligence, perseverance, willpower, self-discipline. In specialized courses, you are just a passive learner, while in independent learning, your goal is to become an active learner.

Before we go directly to the study of the rules and the plan, we need to determine the necessary set of tools that will help any beginner to learn the language:

Vocabulary

Tutorial

grammar guide

Phrasebook

Mobile programs

Audio or regular book for beginners

Any of these tools is up to you.

Foreign language study plan

  • Choice of methodology. Settle on the method you like. For example, the Dragunkin course, the Pimsleur method, the Polyglot system. Practice this technique until you pass the first level, then evaluate the results.
  • The choice of teaching aids - dictionaries, video courses, tutorials, audio books and phrasebooks, as well as websites. Follow the recommendations of one or two sources and follow them, evaluating their effectiveness after three to four weeks
  • Choose for yourself the ideal time to start classes and the duration of the lesson. For example, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30. Study for at least 1 hour a day, but no more than two
  • Tutor lessons. A professional will explain obscure rules and other phenomena of English speech to you two or three times a month, work on your pronunciation
  • Create a detailed plan. Distribute when and what you intend to master, but do not overdo it. Be reasonable, don't take on too much. Choose the rhythm and pace of learning that suits you best. Do not try to immediately master a huge section. It is much better to break it into a couple of separate lectures.
  • Create comfortable conditions. Remove everything that will interfere and distract you from your studies - turn off the radio and TV, speakers at the computer, if they are not useful for classes, close unnecessary tabs and windows in the browser. Sit comfortably, prepare a pen and workbook
  • Hearing. With audiobooks, TV, radio, movies, cartoons, entertainment and a professional narration, learn to recognize fluent British and American conversations
  • Reading. Study English-language books, magazines, articles, newspapers, children's fiction, Internet posts as often and as much as possible. Use texts of different types of complexity, based on your own level of knowledge of English
  • Replenishment of vocabulary. Every day increase your vocabulary by 15-20 words. To simplify the process, learn thematic vocabulary - colors, top 100 phrases, numbers, animals, furniture, situational expressions, wardrobe items, etc.
  • Talk. Oral practice is the key to successful mastering of English speech, so communicate with Americans and British people on the Web, join communities of interest, act out dialogues
  • Letter. Fix all new material in writing, perform various practical exercises, take notes, which contributes to the formation of motor memory
  • Grammar. Enrich vocabulary with set expressions, and the nature of their occurrence, thanks to the laws of grammar.

Follow this plan, get motivated, and you will quickly master English.

“Each new language expands the consciousness of a person and his world. It's like one more eye and one more ear," says Daniel Stein, the hero of Ludmila Ulitskaya's book. Would you like to expand your picture of the world and find a common language with more than a billion people? For those who answered yes, we will tell you how to start learning English. We hope that our guide will help beginners take their first steps and show the right path for those who continue to learn the language.

To get started, we invite you to watch a recording of a two-hour webinar with Victoria Kodak(a teacher and methodologist of our online school), in which she answers the question of how to start learning English in the most detailed way:

1. Introduction: When and how best to start learning English

Some adults believe that only children can start learning English from scratch. Someone thinks that it is a shame for an adult to start from the basics and learn elementary rules and words, someone believes that only children can successfully learn foreign languages, because they have an excellent memory and learning abilities. Both the first and second opinions are wrong. There is nothing shameful in the fact that you start learning a language as an adult, on the contrary: the desire for knowledge always commands respect. According to the statistics of our school, people begin to learn the language from the first stage and at 20, and at 50 and even at 80 (!) years old. Moreover, they do not just start, but successfully study and reach high levels of English proficiency. So no matter how old you are, what matters is your desire to learn and your willingness to improve your knowledge.

Many people ask themselves: “What is the best way to start learning English?”. First you need to choose the way of learning that suits you: in a group, individually with a teacher or on one's own. You can read about the pros and cons of each of them in the article "".

The best option for those who are going to learn the language "from scratch" is classes with a teacher. You need a mentor to explain how the language "works" and help you build a solid foundation for your knowledge. The teacher is your interlocutor who:

  • help you start speaking English;
  • explain grammar in simple words;
  • teach to read texts in English;
  • It will also help you develop your English listening comprehension skills.

For some reason, you do not have the desire or opportunity to study with a teacher? Then check out our step by step guide about self-study of English for beginners.

To begin with, we want to give you some tips on how to better organize your classes so that your efforts are not in vain. We recommend:

  • Exercise at least 2-3 times a week for 1 hour. Ideally, you need to practice English every day for at least 20-30 minutes. However, if you want to arrange a weekend for yourself, do it every other day, but in double volume - 40-60 minutes.
  • Work on speaking skills. Write short texts, read simple articles and news, listen to podcasts for beginners, and try to find someone to talk to to train your speaking skills.
  • Immediately put into practice what you have learned. Use the studied words and grammatical constructions in oral and written speech. Simple cramming will not give the desired effect: knowledge will fly out of your head if you do not use it. Learned a dozen words - make up a short story using all these words, say it out loud. We studied the Past Simple time - write a short text in which all sentences will be in this tense.
  • Don't "Spray". The main mistake of beginners is trying to take as many materials as possible and work with them all at the same time. As a result, the study turns out to be unsystematic, you get confused in the abundance of information and do not see progress.
  • repeat the past. Don't forget to review what you've learned. Even if it seems to you that you know the words on the topic “Weather” by heart, return to them in a month and check yourself: do you remember everything, if there were any difficulties. Repetition of the past is never superfluous. In our blog, we already wrote about. Familiarize yourself with the techniques and try to put them into practice.

3. Guide: How to start learning English from scratch on your own

Since English is still terra incognita for you, we have tried to select only the most necessary materials for you. It turned out to be a rather voluminous list, from which you will learn where to start learning English and how to do it correctly. Let's just say that the work ahead is not easy, but interesting. Let's get started.

1. Learn the rules of reading English

Theater begins with a hanger, and English begins with reading rules. This is a basic piece of knowledge, thanks to which you can learn to read English and pronounce sounds and words correctly. We recommend that you use a simple table from the Internet and learn the rules by heart, as well as get acquainted with the transcription of the English language. This can be done, for example, on the Translate.ru website.

2. Check how words are pronounced

Even if you know the rules of reading by heart, when learning new words, check how they are pronounced correctly. Tricky English words don't want to be read the way they are spelled. And some of them even refuse to obey any rules of reading. Therefore, we advise you to check the pronunciation of each new word in an online dictionary, for example, Lingvo.ru or on a special site Howjsay.com. Listen to the word a few times and try to pronounce it exactly the same way. At the same time, practice the correct pronunciation.

3. Start building vocabulary

Take visual dictionaries into service, for example, use the Studyfun.ru website. Bright pictures voiced by native speakers and translation into Russian will make it easier for you to learn and memorize new vocabulary.

What words to start learning English? We recommend beginners to focus on the list of words on the site Englishspeak.com. Start with simple words of a general theme, remember which words you use most often in your speech in Russian. In addition, we advise you to devote more time to studying English verbs. It is the verb that makes speech dynamic and natural.

4. Learn grammar

If you imagine speech as a beautiful necklace, then grammar is a thread on which you place word beads in order to end up with a beautiful decoration. Violation of the "rules of the game" of English grammar is punishable by misunderstanding of the interlocutor. And learning these rules is not so difficult, it is enough to study with a good textbook. We recommend that you take the first book in the Grammarway series of manuals translated into Russian. We wrote about this book in detail in our review. In addition, we recommend that you read our article "", from which you will find out what books you will need at the initial stage of learning English.

Do you find textbooks boring? It doesn't matter, pay attention to our series of articles "". In it, we state the rules in simple words, give many examples and tests to test knowledge. In addition, our teachers have compiled a simple and high-quality online English grammar tutorial for you. We also recommend reading the article "", in it you will find 8 good reasons to take up manuals, and also find out when you can do without textbooks in learning a language.

5. Listen to podcasts at your level

As soon as you started taking the first steps, you immediately need to accustom yourself to the sound of a foreign speech. Start with simple podcasts ranging from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. You can find simple audio recordings with translation into Russian on the Teachpro.ru website. And to get the most out of listening, check out our article "".

Once you've built your basic English vocabulary, it's time to start watching the news. We recommend the Newsinlevels.com resource. News texts for the first level are simple. There is an audio recording for each news, so be sure to listen to how new words sound for you, try to repeat them after the announcer.

7. Read simple texts

While reading, you activate visual memory: new words and phrases will be easy to remember. And if you want to not only read, but also learn new words, improve pronunciation, listen to texts voiced by native speakers, and then read them. You can find simple short texts in textbooks at your level, such as New English File Elementary, or on the Internet at this site.

8. Install helpful apps

How to start learning English from scratch on your own if you have a smartphone or tablet at hand? English learning apps are mini tutorials that you will always have in your pocket. The well-known Lingualeo app is ideal for learning new words: thanks to the spaced repetition technique, new vocabulary will not disappear from your memory after a month. And to study the structure, the principle of "work" of the language, we recommend installing Duolingo. In addition to learning new words, this application will allow you to practice grammar and learn how to build sentences in English, as well as help you develop good pronunciation. Also, check out ours and choose from there the programs that interest you the most.

9. Study online

If you ask Google how to start learning English on your own, a caring search engine will immediately throw you a couple of hundred sites with various lessons, online exercises, articles about learning the language. An inexperienced student is immediately tempted to bookmark 83 “well, very necessary sites on which I will study every day.” We want to warn you against this: in the abundance of bookmarks, you will quickly get confused, and you need to study systematically, without jumping from one topic to another. Bookmark 2-3 really good resources that you will study on. This is more than enough. We recommend performing online exercises on the Correctenglish.ru website. Also check out our article "", you will find even more useful resources in it. And after you master the basics of English, check out the article "", where you can download a file with a list of useful materials and sites for learning the language.

4. Summing up

The list turned out to be rather big, and we tried to collect for you only the most necessary components of a successful study of the English language. However, we failed to use the most important skill - speaking. It is almost impossible to train him alone with himself. The most you can do is try to find a friend who is learning English. However, a friend with a higher level of knowledge is unlikely to want to work with a beginner, and a beginner like you cannot be an assistant. Moreover, when you work with a non-professional, there is a risk of "catching" his mistakes.

Self-study of the language has another fat minus - lack of control: you will not notice your mistakes and correct them. Therefore, we recommend that you think about classes with a teacher at least at the beginning of your journey. The teacher will give you the necessary push, help you choose the right direction of movement - exactly what a beginner needs.

Now you know how to learn English on your own from scratch. We admit that the path ahead is not easy, but if you have already set yourself a goal and are ready to work, positive results will not keep you waiting. We wish you patience and perseverance on the way to the intended goal!

And for those who want to achieve their goal faster, we offer with a teacher at our school.

The English language has turned from a useful skill into an essential skill when applying for a job, continuing education, and successful self-realization in various fields. The English-language information space dictates its own rules, literature and media in English generate a huge amount of information, which you simply do not have time to wait for the translation. You either read primary sources in English, or take an outsider position firmly and for a long time. You choose.

If you do not speak English, it is worth learning it as soon as possible. And here the question arises: what exactly are they, these very “shortest terms”. On the one hand, we understand that we are unlikely to cope with this task in a couple of weeks, on the other hand, a year of study does not seem to us such a “short term”.

How to quickly learn English - we will try to tell. The standard term for studying English in courses is approximately 2 years. And everything will depend on what level you start training at and at what level you are ready to stop. Linguists and people who are especially fond of language issues argue that language should be studied throughout life. But we will talk about mere mortals.

In total there are 6 levels of English proficiency: Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, Advanced, Proficiency. On average, you can complete one level of English in 3-4 months. Therefore, if you started learning English from scratch, then you can reach the intermediate level (Intermediate) in about six months. This is if you are engaged in a group with an intensity of 2 times a week. If you choose a more intensive program, then it is quite possible to complete the course in 3-4 months.

English is quickly learned by those who need it "for yesterday". If you are planning to enter a foreign university, move abroad, then an intensive program is your option. If you are not ready to attend English courses 4-5 times a week, you can try to quickly learn English at home. For this you need to surround yourself with English.
Learning English quickly assumes that you put in the time to study every day. You can read books in English, watch movies with or without subtitles, learn new words with the help of apps on your smartphone. There are many ways to learn English. Let's talk about some of them.

An easy way to learn English - you go to, choose an intensive program, study from 3 days a week, do not forget about doing homework. This method is suitable for those who are ready to devote some time to classes. With such a schedule, in about 2-3 months, you can master the skill of fluent communication in English from scratch. It will not be possible to say that you know English very well, but you can communicate in standard situations, enter into dialogues, communicate at work.

English Learning Plan

For each person, the plan can be individual. It is necessary to take into account the starting level of English, basic knowledge and features of information perception: someone better remembers information from images, someone - by ear. In addition, each person has their own goals. If you need to master, then it is better to focus on the practice of oral communication, if written, then you should use writing simulators and read books in English.

If you want to close the issue of English in three months (and this period can be considered real), it is worth making a clear plan. You are promised to learn English in a month either by courses in which you will have to speak English for at least 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, or by those who do not plan to provide you with such a result in principle.

How long does it take to learn English:

  • in 2-3 months - to reach the level of Elementary to Pre-Intermediate, with great desire and diligence to Intermediate. Studying at least 3 times a week for 1-2 hours, doing homework, reading books only in English, watching TV shows, films and podcasts in English, repeating the learned words every day.
  • in 5-6 months - to get from zero to Intermediate is more than realistic. Studying 2 times a week, doing homework, repeating words and visiting a conversation club once a week. If you find a native speaker / and communicate with him regularly at least 1-2 times a week - perhaps complete the course earlier.
  • 9-12 months - standard plan. And even with the implementation of this plan, it is necessary not to miss classes, repeat words, do homework, hone grammar skills, train pronunciation. You can answer the question “how much does it take to learn English from scratch” in this way: 9-12 months or 1-2 years.
  • in 1-2 years - you can reach Intermediate. It's even too long, but a lot of students get stuck at the Pre-Intermediate - Intermediate level for about that time. If you do not do your homework or do not immerse yourself in English anywhere, except for the lessons in the courses, you increase the period of studying the language several times.

Still dreaming of learning English in a month? We will not limit you: this is also possible. But it turns out, as a rule, only when moving abroad and in the absence of any possibility of communication in their native language. If a course cannot isolate you from speaking Russian for a month, don't trust their promises to learn English in a month.

How to learn English in 3 months?

This deadline looks the most realistic and one of the most urgent. Let's try to make a plan and convince you that it's possible.

First month

This is a period of work with an English teacher or tutor. If you want to learn English in a super short time, you should neglect group classes and study individually or in pairs. Why? Just because 90% of the time in the class it will be you who will speak. You won't have to wait for other students to speak (and there can be from 4 to 10).

Every day you should memorize about 30 words. And remember well. So good that they remain at least in the passive stock, and phrasal verbs go immediately into active. With this intensity, after 90% you will have a lexicon of about 3000 words. This is quite enough for fluent communication in standard situations. Although an educated native speaker can have a vocabulary of 8,000 or more words. There is something to strive for.

Second month

You can already communicate in English. Ideally, a native speaker or even several speakers can be involved in the communication process. Make it a rule: 3 times a week you should speak with native speakers in English for about 1-2 hours + study with a teacher + repeat the material on your own. In parallel, you need to continue to learn new words and introduce them into your speech. Also read books in English for beginners. This not only replenishes your vocabulary, but also helps you remember standard phrases, sentence structure.

third month

Actively read books in English. Give this lesson at least an hour a day, write out and memorize unfamiliar words. If you are lucky enough to find a native speaker friend who will be ready to communicate with you in English from 3 hours a day, consider that you have drawn a lucky ticket. Every day, keep learning 30 new words a day.

Yes, it is possible to learn English in 3 months. If you give it 4 hours a day.

We have compiled for you a selection of English courses in and. After studying from 1 to 3 months, you will feel a significant difference in the level of English proficiency.

Useful Resources

It is only in Remarque's books that emigrant heroes learn English from the reports of those killed during World War II in the newspapers. And, by the way, they study quite successfully - the motivation is too strong. You can use a huge number of useful resources to study:

  • To memorize words: is an application for those who prefer Apple devices. You can learn new words using the interval building method. An alternative is if you are not a fan of apples.
  • For speaking practice: The Mixxer - a resource for communicating via Skype with native speakers
  • About movie resources in English -
  • Read books in English- you can on the resource
  • Check and practice pronunciation- you can on the channel
  • Audiobooks (and their text versions) in English can be found on the resource. All books are divided into levels from Elementary to Advanced.
We wish you success!

In my last year at the university, I started working as an English tutor (I studied at the Dobrolyubov National State Linguistic University, majoring in theory and methods of teaching foreign languages and cultures). But my lessons did not seem to me as successful as they could be, and I did not have a clear answer why this was happening.

After graduation, I started working at a language school, where I began to devote much more time to the methodology and for the first time thought about the importance of planning. Then I realized that by doing sosecretingredient needed for a successful lesson islessonplan.

Now I can definitely answer the question why plan a lesson:

  • The lesson takes on integrity. It's sort of a journey from point A to point B. Without a plan, you'll be tossed about like you're on a ship on the high seas in a storm, and students will wonder, "What was that?"
  • Lesson control. You know where to start, how to move from one activity to another, what possible questions students may have, what to do if you finish early, etc.

Before planning a lesson, it makes sense to develop template, a template that is visually convenient for you (I use), which will include all the elements of the lesson you need.

Include the following elements in the template header:

  1. the date
  2. Lesson duration
  3. Student name / group number + level
  4. Lesson topic
  5. The purpose of the lesson
  6. Materials to be used (textbook, additional materials, question cards, photographs, etc.)

In the main body, enter:

  • Introduction
  • Main part
  • Conclusion
  • Homework
  • Comments

This form will help you not to forget anything when planning a lesson.

Stages of working on a lesson plan

Target

The first step is to define the purpose of the lesson. The goal is always the answer to the question “What new knowledge will my students leave the lesson with?” So the lesson acquires meaning, and all its elements are tied to one goal.

Introduction

Having determined the goal, you can proceed to the introductory part of the lesson - warm up. It serves to get students talking, arouse their interest, intrigue and smoothly lead to the topic of the lesson.

What is important to remember:

  • The optimal warm-up time is 5-10 minutes
  • Variety - each lesson should have a different warm-up, so try not to start all the lessons the same way with the mundane "How are you?"

Main part

The key component of the lesson, which is aimed at the presentation and development of new material.

The content of the main part should be directly related to the purpose of the lesson - then each task becomes meaningful. Remember, the main thing here is not the number of tasks, but their quality. Despite the variety of materials, books, textbooks and activities, it is important to dose assignments and make the most of what you give your students.

The second thing to keep in mind is the variety of tasks. Whether you are working with children or adults, it is important to make the lesson as varied as possible to keep students interested and engaged.

Alternate gap filling with flashcards, work in pairs with work in groups, move students around, give them the opportunity to write on the board for you, create a dynamic and stimulating learning environment.

Conclusion

Give the final part of the lesson 5-10 minutes. Do not plan anything new, do not introduce new grammar or vocabulary. By this point, the students (no matter how interesting the lesson) are already tired.

This is the perfect time to play a little, summarize the lesson, give homework, and answer the final questions students have left.

8 hacks for planning your dream class:

# 1. Enter an approximate amount of time, which will take to complete each task.

# 2 . Think and write down in the plan how you will present the rules to students completing tasks. The explanation should be clear, concise and understandable.

# 3. Write down what questions/difficulties students may have. Think about how they could be solved

# 4. think and write down how you will move from one task to another. The transition should be smooth and logical.

# 5. Opposite each task indicate the source- page and exercise number in the textbook; if we are talking about additional materials, indicate the sequence number of the task, for example, activity 1)

# 6. Always keep the plan handy.

# 7. Prepare an additional task in case the lesson ends early.

# 8. After the lesson Analyze your plan and note which tasks worked and which did not. Consider how you can avoid similar problems in the future.

Planning a lesson is necessary and very important! At the beginning of a teaching career, lesson planning can be time consuming and very detailed. There is nothing wrong with this, on the contrary - if you are just starting out, write everything down! Over time, lesson planning as well as its content will be given much faster.
