Through the eyes of a traveler: the biggest problem is that the people of Lithuania are too serious and reserved. What is the biggest problem with the school

The global problems of mankind affect our planet as a whole. Therefore, all peoples and states are engaged in their solution. This term appeared in the late 60s of the XX century. Currently, there is a special scientific branch that deals with the study and solution of global problems of mankind. It is called globalization.

Scientific specialists from various fields work in this area: biologists, soil scientists, chemists, physicists, geologists. And this is no coincidence, because the global problems of mankind are complex in nature and their appearance does not depend on any one factor. On the contrary, it is very important to take into account the economic, political and social changes taking place in the world. Life on the planet in the future depends on how correctly the modern global problems of mankind will be solved.

You need to know: some of them have existed for a long time, others, quite “young”, are connected with the fact that people began to negatively affect the world around them. Because of this, for example, the environmental problems of mankind have appeared. They can be called the main difficulties of modern society. Although the problem of environmental pollution itself appeared a long time ago. All varieties interact with each other. Often one problem leads to another.

Sometimes it happens that the global problems of mankind can be solved and completely get rid of them. First of all, this concerns epidemics that threatened the lives of people on the entire planet and led to their mass death, but then they were stopped, for example, with the help of the invented vaccine. At the same time, completely new problems are emerging that were previously unknown to society, or already existing ones are growing to a world level, for example, the depletion of the ozone layer. The cause of their occurrence is human activity. The problem of environmental pollution allows you to see this very clearly. But in other cases, too, there is a clear tendency for people to influence the misfortunes that befall them and threaten their existence. So, what are the problems of humanity that have planetary significance?

environmental disaster

It is caused by daily environmental pollution, depletion of terrestrial and water resources. All these factors together can accelerate the onset of an environmental catastrophe. Man considers himself the king of nature, but at the same time does not seek to preserve it in its original form. This is hindered by industrialization, which is proceeding at a rapid pace. By negatively influencing its habitat, mankind destroys it and does not think about it. No wonder pollution standards have been developed that are regularly exceeded. As a result, the environmental problems of mankind may become irreversible. To avoid this, we must pay attention to the preservation of flora and fauna, try to save the biosphere of our planet. And for this it is necessary to make production and other human activities more environmentally friendly so that the impact on the environment is less aggressive.

demographic problem

The world's population is growing at a rapid pace. And although the “population explosion” has already subsided, the problem still remains. The situation with food and natural resources is deteriorating. Their stocks are shrinking. At the same time, the negative impact on the environment is increasing, it is impossible to cope with unemployment and poverty. There are difficulties with education and health care. The solution of the global problems of humanity of this nature was undertaken by the UN. The organization created a special plan. One of his items is the family planning program.

Disarmament

After the creation of a nuclear bomb, the population tries to avoid the consequences of its use. For this, treaties between countries on non-aggression and disarmament are signed. Laws are being adopted to ban nuclear arsenals and stop the arms trade. The presidents of the leading states hope in this way to avoid the outbreak of the Third World War, as a result of which, as they suspect, all life on Earth can be destroyed.

Food problem

In some countries, the population is experiencing food shortages. The people of Africa and other third countries of the world are especially affected by hunger. To solve this problem, two options have been created. The first is aimed at ensuring that pastures, fields, fishing zones gradually increase their area. If you follow the second option, it is necessary not to increase the territory, but to increase the productivity of existing ones. For this, the latest biotechnologies, methods of land reclamation, and mechanization are being developed. High-yielding varieties of plants are being developed.

Health

Despite the active development of medicine, the emergence of new vaccines and drugs, humanity continues to get sick. Moreover, many ailments threaten the lives of the population. Therefore, in our time, the development of methods of treatment is actively conducted. Substances of modern design are created in laboratories for effective immunization of the population. Unfortunately, the most dangerous diseases of the 21st century - oncology and AIDS - remain incurable.

The ocean problem

Recently, this resource is not only actively explored, but also used for the needs of mankind. As experience shows, it can provide food, natural resources, energy. The ocean is a trade route that helps restore communication between countries. At the same time, its reserves are used unevenly, military operations are conducted on its surface. In addition, it serves as a base for the disposal of waste, including radioactive waste. Mankind is obliged to protect the wealth of the World Ocean, avoid pollution, and rationally use its gifts.

Space exploration

This space belongs to all mankind, which means that all nations should use their scientific and technical potential to explore it. For the deep study of space, special programs are being created that use all modern achievements in this area.

People know that if these problems do not disappear, the planet may die. But why do many do not want to do anything, hoping that everything will disappear, “dissolve” by itself? Although, in truth, such inaction is better than the active destruction of nature, the pollution of forests, water bodies, the destruction of animals and plants, especially rare species.

It is impossible to understand the behavior of such people. It would not hurt them to think about what to live, if, of course, it is still possible, on a dying planet their children and grandchildren will have to. You should not count on the fact that someone will be able to rid the world of difficulties in a short time. The global problems of humanity can only be solved jointly if all of humanity makes an effort. The threat of destruction in the near future should not frighten. Best of all, if she can stimulate the potential inherent in each of us.

Do not think that it is difficult to cope with the world's problems alone. From this it seems that it is useless to act, thoughts appear about powerlessness in the face of difficulties. The point is to join forces and help the prosperity of at least your city. Solve the little problems of your habitat. And when every person on Earth begins to have such responsibility to himself and his country, large-scale, global problems will also be solved.

“Thousands of books have been written on ways to make women happy.
Everything is wasted. Be honest - that's enough."

- Ersin Tezjan

#I'm not afraid to say

Facebook promotion # I'm not afraid to say where women (mostly women) shared stories of their pain, stories of thousands of locks and taboos, stories of sexual violence and abuse.

With all the justified and not too fears of psychotherapists about retraumatization, I consider this movement to be unambiguously correct and useful.

We cannot separate psychotherapy from social discussion.

Women and men need to go to therapists and discuss their troubles in silence, in an atmosphere of trust and support, but this is not enough to make a difference in society.
If the problem does not come out of the tightly closed offices in the square (online and offline), there will be no social changes.

And, by the way, given that the topic is taboo in the post-Soviet space, the level of psychological literacy is extremely low, and the services of therapists are expensive, how many of these stories still reach the ears of “healers of souls”?

The individual needs individual healing, but society needs public healing.

This healing takes place through conversation, through dialogue, through opening and cleaning the stinking public cesspools. Through overcoming fear. Fear to say. Fear to say “I don’t want to live like this anymore”. Fear of feeling your own pain, and fear of sharing the pain of another.

Yes, meeting even with a description of violence causes pain, but pain is a symptom that calls us to change something. And I hope that this action, having caused pain, will push at least some people to go to a psychotherapist and engage in healing (not only victims of violence, but also the rapists themselves - also victims in fact).

And I really, really hope that it will help the movement of society towards more just, tolerant and friendly relations.

This path is difficult and long, and it consists of small steps, like any other.

Critics of the action say that they say that such serious problems are not solved by flash mobs.

Thank you for opening our eyes, otherwise we did not know.

Of course they don't!

Not a single problem is solved by a flash mob. And it is not solved by the party meeting.

But the difference between a flash mob and a party meeting is that no one drives anyone to a flash mob - people come there because it turns out to be important to them. To realize a certain value. To talk about what is truly important to them personally.

As the suffragettes engaged in non-violent methods of civil disobedience—chaining themselves to gates, boarding tracks, demonstrating, and standing in the streets holding signs—as New York textile workers took to the streets, “Empty Pot March” against low wages and poor working conditions, did anyone think that these antics of “crazy women” would solve the problem?

No, no one thought so. But the women went out and out into the streets, and eventually became visible to those who were happy with everything. And they had to be dealt with, they had to be taken into account and their voice had to be heeded.

So to state: "I do not like it", is the first step, the main thing is not to stop at it and continue to strive to be heard and listened to.

Men

But in general, I now want to talk about men and with men, many of whom were not ready to look into the abyss and hid behind the standard set of reactions: irritation, suppression of feelings, rationalization, generalization, detachment, withdrawal, sarcasm, irony, suspicion, conspiracy theory blaming the victim...

The wave of the flash mob, in addition to grief, pain, words of support and condemnation, also splashed a lot of useful materials, advice from psychologists and just thoughts into the feed.

  • The action of truckers who set up camp on the Moscow highway on the outskirts of St. Petersburg ended, almost without starting. According to various sources, from five to eight people were detained and taken to the police station in the city of Pushkin.

However, truckers are not discouraged: the detentions will allow more people to hear about them, although the price is high.

The owners of about 30 cars were planning to take part in a motor rally in the center of St. Petersburg, organized by the Association of Carriers of Russia. The meeting place was a camp of truckers, set up between Shushary and Lensovetovsky, on the Moscow highway.

People came with flags and stickers of the Association under the windows of cars, some had sheets of paper with printed slogans against the Platon system, as well as home-made posters.

During the time that truckers have been standing on the Moscow Highway - that is, since the start of the strike, on March 27 - their headquarters container with a kitchen has become a local landmark. At the entrance to it there is a “hung” mannequin with an explanation: “Plato is strangling us.

Car owners passing by stop to take pictures. Someone comes to talk. They say that police officers, with whom the protesters have developed constructive human relations, also came to have tea with truckers.

Headquarters employees are constantly working with newly arriving traffic participants, explaining to everyone that the system needs to be changed radically. For example, one of the St. Petersburg coordinators, Vadim, told the BBC that on the eve of today's race he talked with a new participant for seven hours, explaining that the current problems are the result of complex violations in the work of the authorities and an incorrectly built system.

“Understand,” explains Vadim, “the people who come to the carriers are ordinary peasants from the plow who watched the evening news with Dmitry Kiselev the day before yesterday, and this is worse than an atomic war: an absolutely scorched mind, a complete misunderstanding of why a parliament is needed, a misunderstanding, why there is no "citizen-state" feedback as such - and hope for a bright king who will fix all this.

At the same time, Vadim is also dissatisfied with his colleagues: it turned out to be extremely difficult to unite people.

"The biggest problem is that there is no society, no structure of society, it has been destroyed as a class," he argues. "Most of all we need a union right now - but nobody wants to participate in it."

“The problem is purely public. We were diligently weaned from gathering: the dispersed previous protests of 2011 and the absence of a normal political struggle within the system indicate that it is useless to fight,” Vadim explains. “It is useless to write a complaint against an official. the level of the president, the Federation Council, the State Duma.

"People simply do not believe that it is possible to defeat this monster. And this follows from our television, from federal channels," he sums up.

According to Andrey Bazhutin, the leader of the association of carriers, almost a hundred coordinators of the association have been in courts all over Russia since the beginning of the strike: law enforcement agencies wanted to "decapitate" local branches, finding reasons to detain people.

In the end, everyone was released, the courts went through, administrative fines were issued - but the pressure did not stop there. For example, in the Rostov Region and the Krasnodar Territory, according to Bazhutin, the police go to the homes of the strikers - despite the fact that they are "absolutely harmless."

Andrei Bazhutin assessed the level of pressure in St. Petersburg before the start of the action as low - despite the fact that he himself was detained, and they wanted to take his children to guardianship authorities.

The pregnant wife of the leader of the movement had to return home from the hospital in order not to send her children to social institutions.

However, the situation changed just a few minutes later: as soon as the truckers decided on the route and speed and decided to drive towards Kolpino (opposite from the city) to turn around and go to the center, they were stopped by the police.

At first they were interested in the flags, then they ordered to remove the stickers from the windshields, and demanded to show documents. In response, some truckers began to demand documents from the police, the intensity of the conversation grew. An order was issued to detain the most active.

In front of the BBC correspondent, the riot police immediately flew up and took away five, some witnesses speak of eight detainees.

How many people were taken away, the truckers themselves cannot say for sure: they remembered five, including the leaders of the movement Andrey Bazhutin and Sergey Vladimirov, by name, but those who do not enter the movement on ordinary days also came to support the participants on the day of the run - so just count them " their own" and check who is missing, they could not.

Human rights activist Dinar Idrisov promised to come to the Pushkinsky district police station within a few hours. Truckers are waiting at the entrance to the territory: they are not allowed inside.

However, the participants still believe that the action, which lasted so short, was in some sense a success. Silencing the detentions of people in the media is much more difficult than simply not paying attention to some kind of motor rally. And this means that a larger number of citizens will learn about the problems of truckers.

    Interesting article?

    Man is the biggest problem.

the decline of morals, the stupefaction of youth...

    hahaha we are so smart
"Today's youth is accustomed to luxury. They are distinguished by bad manners, despises authority, does not respect elders. Children argue with parents, greedily swallow food and taunt teachers."
    (Short. Athens, V-IV centuries BC)

Of course, others are easier to blame.
Morality, morals? Do not tell. Do you think they ever existed? And what is it anyway?
The main problem of the human world (not only the modern one) is the desire of every person to be a "god". Everyone is sure that they are right, everyone wants power (but not everyone admits it), everyone wants to live in comfort and everyone does not care about each other. The main problem of people is the lack of tolerance, tolerance, respect, sympathy and understanding for all living things.
  • Biblical: "And because of the forgetfulness of the laws, the love of many will grow cold."

    Big ScoopAlo

People around ... I want silence

  • Take a look at the questions on the first page of the irtz and everything will become clear.

People don't want to think, they don't want to love themselves, they don't want to be deeper when superficiality suits them. People want money and to be loved and respected by everyone.

You can add the corruption of children and adolescents through the media, an ill-conceived curriculum in high school, where no one teaches the child and tells how to behave in society, what values are important and inviolable, what morality to follow is more correct and safe for oneself. They do not teach to speak with their hearts, to love and hear and understand themselves. Hence cruel hearts, unstable behavior, mutilated destinies and souls in the adult world.

Yes, what kind of personal development of a child can we talk about when adults themselves direct them to debauchery, drugs, alcohol. A simple example - they just shot a film in Russia called "14+", where children of 15 are filming in erotic scenes ... (put out the lights, lower the curtain)

Here the question is rather, what is the main problem of modern man? What prevents him from living happily from birth, so that there is no need to pursue this happiness all his life? What is the universal pledge of love for all? And how not to miss the moment, how to make the right choice?..

In general, it is necessary to consider individuality, the possibility of a normal childhood with an acceptable upbringing and values and understanding instilled from birth, and the essence of the whole society will be clear.

mnu brown))))) there are 3 floors) norms)) enough)

For a modern person, love is generally unnecessary, like a real genuine culture of behavior, excluding selfish motives and hidden lust. He is interested in a quick buzz that is passed like a baton along with a "beautiful" bouquet of carnal viruses. And something "greater" cannot be embraced by those who are petty and closed in their complexes, presented as almost pious principles for perceiving relationships. So, in my words, one can trace a fairly simple conclusion: speed is not always equal to quality, but shameful slowness is fraught with the loss of that very mutual "higher love" that one dreams of, but does not make any serious efforts to achieve.

- A graphic artist who became a businessman and traveler to the farthest corners of our planet.

I never became an artist, although I studied for five years. Nevertheless, the artistic nature is still present in me and sometimes reminds me quite strongly of myself. How? For example, two years ago, quite unexpectedly for myself, I started playing the piano. I constantly come up with things that are somehow connected with creativity. I did not become a certified artist, because when I had almost completed my studies, I dropped out and started my own business. For about seven years I had my own small business - wholesale of optical goods. Now, however, I have abandoned free enterprise and work in a trading firm.

Many people unfamiliar with the world of trading have a rather vague idea of what a trader does. Could you tell me more?

I work for a company that sells and resells raw materials. For example, we are engaged in the resale of grain, oil, biodiesel and their derivatives. Sometimes we buy raw materials in the East and sell them to Western partners, sometimes these are intermediary transactions between the CIS countries. We can buy raw materials, for example, in Germany and resell them, or buy biodiesel fuel directly from the manufacturer's plant and deliver it to the refinery, where it is mixed with diesel fuel. Personally, I sell vegetable oils and biodiesel. My area of responsibility includes negotiations with clients, both sellers and buyers, I often have to go on business trips to Poland or Germany.

How do you reconcile the profession of a trader, which, as you just mentioned, requires one hundred percent commitment and wanderlust?

Hmm (pause), let's start with the fact that each of us strives to earn money for which you can not only survive, but also realize yourself. In the world of creativity, people still earn less than in the world of trading. At one time, it was this argument that convinced me to look for a job in the world of trading. Although I do not think that happiness lies in money, but, in my opinion, money should bring satisfaction, make a person feel like a person. So that you can go on vacation once a year, save money on an apartment, buy a car. How can work and creativity be reconciled? Very simply, I do art, creativity in my free time after work. The same job allows me to travel - about once a year I take a long vacation and leave for a month.

- When did you start traveling?

Seven years ago, a good friend of mine talked me into what we thought was an exotic trip. That time we decided on a trip to Ukraine, to Chernobyl, to the exclusion zone. My friend, myself, and another colleague of ours went to Chernobyl by car and managed to visit Crimea along the way. The next year we took a trip to Nepal. Now it seems to me that my transformation from a simple tourist to a traveler happened right there in Nepal - I realized that I wanted to travel.

- What are you looking for in your travels?

Other cultures that are completely different from what I knew before. For example, I am interested in how people live, what they eat for dinner, what they talk about, what they joke about, what songs they sing and what dances they dance. Another thing is that thanks to travel you can meet other travelers. I like that in this way a sense of comradeship appears, tourists or travelers become a brotherhood. Like Musketeers - one for all, all for one.

- Which countries do you prefer to travel to?

For my travels, I try to choose countries that are outside - these are the countries of South and North America, Asia. So far, I have not had time to visit Australia, the Arctic and African countries.

Most people like to travel in comfort, while a minority, on the contrary, are looking for adventure on their own. Which group of travelers do you belong to?

Neither the first nor the second. I believe that you need to travel light, to be "poor" in order to get to know the country as closely as possible, staying in comfortable hotels, according to the all-inclusive model - you cannot recognize the real country you travel through. Traveling in this way, you can get to interesting places, meet new people, learn about the culture and history of the country. The less comfort, the more difficult and difficult, the more such a journey sinks into memory.

Have you been in extreme conditions?

In those in which there would be a threat to my life - no. The most extreme situation I've been in happened to me in Georgia. And I got into it of my own free will. With friends, we went to the mountains, it was summer below, and it was cold in the mountains, snow, rain, hail and hurricane winds. My light jacket soon got wet, moisture got into my boots, and at night, because of the cold, I couldn’t sleep. Moreover, another storm began, in general, then the adrenaline was enough for me.

If you like extreme sensations, maybe it's time to go mountain climbing? Conquer, for example, Everest?

Thanks, but no. Mountaineering and hiking on Everest, after all, is not for me. Each trip to the mountains at such a height means risk, there is the possibility of not returning or returning frostbitten and sick.

- Experienced tourists are advised to prepare a plan before each trip and strictly adhere to it.

Maybe so, but I'm a very atypical tourist (laughs). I love that my travels have an element of randomness, chaos, if you will. When everything is strictly distributed in its place - it's damn boring.

- A traditional question for an experienced traveler - how many countries have you already visited?

I have been traveling intensively for about seven years, during this period I managed to visit ... plus or minus thirty countries.

- How does Lithuania look against the background of thirty countries?

In my opinion, Lithuania is a unique country, an oasis, if you will. We have clean air, forests, few people, good weather. At any time you can get into a car or a bicycle, half an hour, a maximum of an hour and you are already outside the city - in the forest or on the lake. Freedom. Since there are few inhabitants in Lithuania, even 100% city dwellers can easily go to the countryside and buy fresh milk, cheese or any other ecological goods from farmers or peasants. In the same Germany or the UK, everything looks completely different, not to mention the huge Chinese metropolitan areas with millions of inhabitants.

- But what about our problems that politicians like to talk about?

Personally, it seems to me that the biggest problem is that they are too serious and reserved. Right now I am in Argentina, in a country that has much more serious problems than Lithuania - high inflation, high prices, but people here are much more open, have fun, enjoy life. It is this attitude to life that we should learn from the Argentines. Other countries, for example, in Asia or Latin America, have much more serious problems, the standard of living in Lithuania is relatively very, very good.

- If the Lithuanian society is too serious and closed, then what about the Poles and Russians in Lithuania?

I think that most of our problems, Poles and Russians and Lithuanians, are due to the fact that our country has been in the composition for a very long time. People are used to hiding behind masks, saying one thing and thinking another, people are afraid to trust each other. Lithuania and we - its inhabitants - are traumatized by the post-Soviet syndrome. Another thing is that we - I mean in general - are more northern, slow, not expressive people.

- What can and should be done so that Poles, Russians, and Lithuanians can finally understand each other?

The problem is that we have been living in the 21st century for a long time, but we think according to the patterns of the past 20th century. The political relations of our countries, and I mean also Lithuania, are far from good, but this does not mean that we should consider that all Russians are bad and wish the worst for Lithuania. It seems to me that we need to understand that politics is one thing, but life, human relations are another. What can be done? The 20th century was very painful for our peoples, but it seems to me that it is time to grow up, childhood has passed, for those peoples who made mistakes, caused pain and insults to other peoples - to apologize and try to start all over again. As long as we - people - will think in categories - I am a Pole, I am a Russian, I am a Lithuanian - we will never find a common language.
