1. First of all, it is necessary to take some extremely narrow and specific topic. The chronological framework should be minimal, territorial too, the subject of research should be hidden in a fog of metaphorical images, the title should be stretched over several lines, saturate it with words incomprehensible to the general public, literary clichés and complex grammatical constructions. The title of the article is of the form “Glorious son of the Mongolian people! The young years of Yumzhagiin Tsedenbal in Ubsunur aimag and the beginning of the young patriot's struggle for the liberation of the Mongolian Motherland" can be considered optimal.
2. Avoid being original when justifying the urgency of the problem. It’s a no brainer that history as a science is needed only to educate patriotism and ethnic / national self-consciousness in everyone and everything, and your article was created for this. Literary stamps are also welcome. The text can begin with a phrase like “Recently, attention has been growing in the problem of the young years of Yumzhagiin Tsedenbal in Ubsunur aimag, since the study of the life and work (so much more pathetic than the life activity) of this great man contributes to the education of patriotism among the Mongolian youth.”
3. Never formulate the goals and objectives of your article! All this is postmodern nonsense! A real historian just writes so that some other real historian can just read it. What for? This sacred knowledge, covered with darkness for centuries, is not for you to try to discover it in your little article. In addition, you already wrote: Your goal is the education of patriotism, this is more than enough.
4. Do not use or formulate any research methodologies! This borders on Satanism and devil worship, because it violates the sacred peace of the classics of romanticism-positivism! Historicism and scientific objectivity are the only methods of a true historian (even if you yourself do not really understand what it is). Under fear of a long and painful death, do not mix history with sociology, philosophy and other humanities, and even more so with natural sciences! Remember: You just write what comes to mind so that someone else can read it later for some reason. Is this not enough?
5. Do not waste time on all sorts of historiographical reviews. Who cares about the opinion of some other historians on this issue if you are the most objective and innovative researcher? All the rest wrote before you, which means that a priori they could not think of those brilliant ideas that you thought of in our progressive 2013! In addition, you already took such a narrow and specific problem that no one has obviously written about it before ... and even if he did, no one knows about it anyway.
6. Never work on the literary style and literacy of your speech. All this is just a waste of time: who needs to understand what you wrote about, and whoever doesn’t understand - well, the dog is with him! After all, who said that reading historical articles is easy and enjoyable? If they want to join the newest and most objective knowledge obtained by you - let them comprehend your unique style and delve into the original compositional structure of the article. Grammatical and semantic repetitions, tautology, inconsistency of sentences, literary cliches, punctuation and spelling errors - all this helps to weed out inexperienced readers and transfer the knowledge you have gained only to real specialists.
7. Refuse to formulate the results and conclusions of the article. A real specialist will understand what you wanted to say, besides, you have already written as many as 8 pages, which has done an invaluable service to the world historical non-science, what else can these readers need? Moreover, you have already achieved the main task: as soon as a person has read your article, he is already deeply saturated with the spirit of patriotism, which means that further explanations are superfluous.
Well, have you written an article that no one will read?
Great, it's time to think about a dissertation that no one will ever be interested in!
Enthusiasm to all!
