According to the duty of care for the good that is set before us. Manifesto of Catherine II on the acceptance of the Crimean Peninsula, the island of Taman and the entire Kuban side under the Russian state

If you are asked: "What does it mean to be a patriot?", you will probably be surprised, because we all remember from school that a patriot is a person who loves his homeland and is always ready to defend it. In childhood, almost everyone thought so, but they represented such actions somehow abstractly. Growing up, many of us understand the concept of "patriotism" in somewhat different ways.

What does it mean to be a patriot? This is a rather difficult question. Here is what the encyclopedic dictionary tells us about this: "Patriotism is love for one's country, native land and its cultural environment."

Unfortunately, many young people often confuse devotion to the motherland with nationalism. After all, in fact, nationalism is the activity of a certain part of people who often fight with non-existent enemies. Claims that one nationality has superiority over another have nothing to do with the concept of "patriotism". A nation is formed not by individual citizens, but by peoples. Unity at the level of the nation is based on solidarity, both ethical and inter-ethnic.

How to cultivate patriotism?

Some believe that love for the people and the motherland are instinctive feelings. Others - that an innate sense of patriotism does not exist as such, it can only be developed in a person. As always, the truth is somewhere in the middle. Each person is not born with a “blank slate” that you just take and fill out. In Soviet times, a sense of patriotism was imposed on children from the cradle. Love for the motherland at that time was considered more important than love for parents, wife and children. Propaganda of the patriotic spirit could be found everywhere: in the cinema, at work, and even on the streets. But were all those born in the Soviet Union patriots? Outwardly, people tried to look like devoted citizens of the country, but there were only a few patriots in their hearts.

An even sadder example is Nazi Germany. At that time, instead of citizens, sacredly devoted to the state, there was only a pliable biomass in it.

So maybe the point is that the feeling of complete unity with the motherland cannot be imposed? can be awakened, but not created artificially. What it means to be a patriot, everyone decides for himself. People also come to this in different ways: some through art, others through religion, others through history, and others after serving in the army. In general, how many people - so many ways.

Of course, the child must be introduced to the history, literature and culture of his state. Only in this way can he determine what it means to be a patriot for him. Because most people define the word "patriotism" ambiguously. The most popular responses from citizens are:

Love to motherland;

Defense of the Fatherland;

loyalty to the country;

Compliance with laws.

They are probably all right. All of these concepts in the complex and outline a distinct image of a patriot. Although, first of all, love for one's land should live in the heart.

If your soul responds when the national anthem is played, if you sincerely support the national sports team, even when mediocre players play in it, if you are far outside your country, but sing a lullaby to your child in your native language, know that you are a real patriot and a worthy resident not only of his state, but of the whole planet!

Holding an event

I'm a patriot. I am Russian air
I love the Russian land.
I believe that nowhere in the world
I won't find another one like it.
N. Kogan

It is with these words of Nikolai Kogan that I would like to start our conversation: “What does it mean to be a patriot today?”

Student: let's look at Dahl's explanatory dictionary: “A patriot is one who loves his fatherland, is devoted to his people, is ready for sacrifices and deeds in the name of the interests of his Motherland.

Teacher: Let's try to understand our thoughts, feelings, attitudes towards this concept. Therefore, today I invite you to the free microphone.

Sample student responses

Student 1.“A patriot is a person who loves his homeland, is ready to defend it, but not necessarily with weapons in his hands. Knowing and accepting the history of your country, no matter how they talk about it, is important, and especially today.”

Student 2. “A patriot in my understanding is a person who works and is socially active, builds his future, linking it only with his Fatherland. He will do much more than a person who is ready to defend the prestige of the country in words. This is much more difficult than just talking about love for the motherland. This is true patriotism."

Student 3.“Being a patriot in our time is very difficult, there is a lot of temptation around - the pursuit of money, leading to an escape from Russia. To be a patriot means to be the master of your country, not a guest. In case of danger, be able to protect her, handle her gifts with care”

Student 4.“Unfortunately, sometimes patriotism is interpreted incorrectly. On the screen, we see groups of "skins" who, with a firm conviction that they are right, beat innocent people of a different nationality to death. “Russia for Russians!”, “Let’s cleanse Russia of blacks!” - they shout ... It is wonderful, of course, that people have a desire to ensure that a larger percentage of the country's inhabitants are Russians ... But this does not mean that others should be exterminated! There is a sea of ways... Violence is the worst of them... You know, a lie always cuts the ear... Therefore, it is disgusting and furious to me that they cover themselves with the word "patriot".

Student 5.“Probably few of us asked ourselves this question. And why? Apparently, we are so busy with everyday worries and problems that we are not up to it. What is the most important thing for our parents now? Give us children a good education. And the children go crazy for American films and proudly declare: "We are not patriots." And not all parents will be scared when they hear this phrase. Or maybe there is nothing to be afraid of? It is still unknown what the teenager wanted to say. "I don't like my country" or "I want to live in a rich and prosperous country." And yet it is safe to say that the Russian people are patriots. Not for show, no"

Student 6.“The first thing that comes to mind when people talk about patriotism is America. Those who loudly declare to the whole world that they are patriots are the Americans. Patriotism has become the hallmark of the United States. Americans make films on patriotic themes, they write about it in the press”

Student 7.“I do not agree with such conclusions,” in my opinion, this is abnormal or pathological patriotism. The bombing of Iraq because of the weapons of mass destruction allegedly located there and Yugoslavia because of nothing at all - they didn’t like the president - these are all the consequences of their "patriotism". Their "patriotism" has nothing to do with real Patriotism, so I think we have nothing to learn from the Americans.

Student 6.“We must look for flaws not in others - in ourselves. We must not criticize and hate someone else's, but make our own better"

Pupil 8“A true patriot, in my opinion, should at least know the history of his country. How can you love your Motherland without knowing anything about it?! Is it possible to consider people who allegedly fight for the purity of the Slavic race, they don’t know the history of this very race, it’s written on their faces: aggression and the desire to fight no matter who. Here is a statement that can be read on the fence "Beat the Jews" - this is some regular "patriot" calling us. And, probably, it did not occur to him that knowledge of his native language is included in the list of requirements for a true patriot. And a true patriot will not yell at every corner about his passionate love for the motherland, he will simply silently do his job, thereby really helping the country.

Student 10.“And I think that knowledge of state symbols is also a manifestation of patriotism. We did a little sociological research at school.

Presentation. Slide #3. Based on the opinions of students in our school, the results were as follows:

  1. 98% of respondents know what is depicted on the state emblem;
  2. 100% know the colors of the national flag and their location;
  3. 95% could name the first verse of the national anthem;
  4. Feelings experienced when they see or hear state symbols - pride, admiration, sympathy
  5. The majority of respondents have a positive attitude towards the campaigns for the distribution of ribbons (three-colored) with national symbols.

Teacher: The conversation can go on for a long time ... There will always be pros and cons, there will be other interpretations of the problem. In the classical sense, the word "patriotism" has never changed its meaning.

Presentation. Slide number 4.

Student: Let us recall the words of A.S. Pushkin:

“I swear on my honor that in the world I would not want to change the Fatherland or have a different history than the history of our ancestors.” Let us turn to the history of our ancestors: in the war against Napoleon, patriots died for Russia, millions of patriots died in the Great Patriotic War ... They were all ready for a feat for the sake of their native land ...

Presentation. Slide number 5.(a bell ringing sounds, and the student speaks words about A. Nevsky against the background of this sound).

Student: Prince A. Nevsky lived only 43 years, he became a prince at 16, at 20 he defeated the Swedes in the battle on the Neva River, and at 22 he won a famous victory on the ice of Lake Peipus. And his name was glorified. And then, with his cautious policy, he saved Russia, allowed her to get stronger, recover from ruin. He is the founder of the revival of Russia!

Student: my homeland, my Russia in those people that she can be proud of ...

Presentation. Slide number 6. The music of Tchaikovsky sounds, against the background of it, words about N.I. Vavilov are read

“Let's go to the fire, we will burn, but we will not give up our convictions” - these words belong to the great Russian scientist Nikolai Ivanovich Vavilov. His whole life and work were a confirmation of these words. The world famous botanist, geneticist, traveler and researcher, Nikolai Ivanovich in 1929. become an academician of the USSR. He is the first president of the All-Union Agricultural Academy of the USSR. The purpose of his life was science. He never forgot that he was a citizen of his country, even when he was arrested in 1940 and accused of leading an anti-Soviet counter-revolutionary organization. He perceived the Motherland as the only thing that cannot be bought, sold, or changed, although he was offered the best laboratories in the world. In prison, he continues to work hard, writes the book "History of the development of world agriculture", more than a hundred lectures on genetics. While on death row, Vavilov wrote: “Having extensive experience and knowledge in the development of crop production, I would be happy to give myself completely to my Motherland.” He died of starvation in 1943 in the Saratov prison...

Teacher: Examples of true patriotism can be continued ...

Do you remember the terrible battles?

72 soldiers of the Soviet Army died a heroic death in January 1943, freeing Livenka from the fascist invaders. These are soldiers and officers of the 48th Guards Red Banner Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov of the Krivoy Rog Rifle Division.

Presentation. Slide #8.

On all fronts of the Great Patriotic War, about 2,500 Liven soldiers fought. 613 did not return.

Student: We can read about the exploits of Russian people in books, ask veterans, or visit a museum.

Presentation. Slide number 9. There is a museum in our village. The main direction of our museum's work is military-patriotic. Most of the expositions are related to the military exploits of fellow countrymen and the military period in the history of the village.

Presentation. Slide number 10. From the archives of the museum: “We have before us a photograph of Ivan Ivanovich Ponamarev, a former sailor of the Northern Fleet. After being wounded, he was assigned to an infantry division. I didn’t think, I didn’t guess that he would have to be the first, before the advanced units, with the joyful news of the imminent liberation, to enter his native village. And it happened like this. The three of us went to investigate. The commander of the group Drobyazko, who knew the German language perfectly, radio business, the charter of the fascist army. Checkered German raincoats with deep hoods hid soldier earflaps and gray overcoats from prying eyes. And here is the native village of Livenka. The house where I was born and raised. Only the sailor did not recognize him at once. The night is dark. And from a distance it seems that the house is uninhabited. The windows are lined with bags. Come closer, knock. Nobody opened it for a long time. Finally the bolts rattled and the door opened. We met him with concern. They did not recognize the voice, and a small kaganets made from a cartridge case illuminated only a small circle of the table. German raincoats aroused suspicion and fear.

Father, answer. It's me - your son Ivan!

I didn’t die, dad, I’m alive, here I am.

Shuffling steps were heard, the father, screwing up his eyes, went up to the speaker, ran his hand along his cheek and said:

Right! Ivan, the mole is in place. But suddenly he frowned:

So what are you? Sold to the Germans? he raised his voice.

No, dad, we are our own, Soviet. We have a task.

Well, if so, it means a son! - Father said still warily.

And only in the morning, when, at the signal of the scouts, the advancing troops captured the Palatovka station and liberated Livenka, the father believed that his son Ivan, a sailor from the North Sea, was alive.

For his military career, Ivan Ivanovich was awarded by the government 9 medals, among them: the medal "For Military Merit" and the medal "For the Defense of Stalingrad", as well as the Order of the Red Star and the Order of the Patriotic War 2nd degree.

Now our countryman is not with us, but we cannot forget about his role in the liberation of the village. After all, it was thanks to the skillful actions of the reconnaissance group that the Soviet troops drove the enemy out of the village with the least losses. And we must not forget our countrymen.

The poet B. Kovtun has these lines:

We are not full of bread alone!
And if there is emptiness in the soul -
We will also be forgotten
There will be no cross over us.

Teacher: Memory, memory, memory... it is like bonfires in the snow, which sanctify and sanctify, warming the hearts of the older generation, and beckoning young people who go out on their own roads.

Student: And who keeps this memory, who completes the material, is engaged in educational work? Can these people be considered patriots of their small homeland? Who are they? To understand this, we invited the director of the museum, Alexander Vasilyevich Kononov, to our meeting. (Speech by the director of the museum Kononov A.V.)

Presentation. Slide number 11, 12. photos of history teachers - founders of the museum.

Student: Let's stop at the stand "Warriors - Internationalists". In one of the photographs, my father is Sergey Fedorovich Kirillov. He performed his military duty in Afghanistan. I turned to him with a question: “Dad, what do you think, serving in the Army is patriotism. Indeed, today many young people, having received a diploma of higher education and found a decent job, do not want to serve in the Army? There are, of course, those who are simply afraid that they may return from there disabled. Do you think they are not patriots? - (video or possible presence of the participant at the class hour)

Student: our group addressed the head of the cadet class, Sergei Dmitrievich Adamov, with the same question. Here are his thoughts:

“In my opinion, military service is not an ideal indicator of patriotism. By patriotism, I mean the activity of a person for the good of the Motherland, regardless of profession or position. How effectively it works depends on the activity of the entire state. Therefore, patriotism is the full-blooded return of human activity for the benefit of its people and state. History knows the confirmation of this. Take, for example, the people's militia during the Great Patriotic War. Some of the people from its composition were not military personnel at all, but this did not prevent them from showing unprecedented courage and heroism. Is this not a manifestation of patriotism?

And those who work in the rear for 20-22 hours a day, giving the front much-needed ammunition, medicines, uniforms. Peasants swollen with hunger, but supplying food to the front.

They did not serve in the army, they were not military personnel, but how can you blame them for the lack of patriotism?

Therefore, if a young man has received a diploma of higher education, works with full dedication for people, he can be considered a patriot for his country. Even if he did not serve in the army, the language will not turn to accuse him of lack of patriotism.

Another thing is the defense of the motherland. In this case, military service is indeed the main component of the patriotic education of a person. The young man must overcome the fear of the army, and the state must take care of this - not allowing "hazing". And they can make a disabled person on the street or in the alley. So why don't we go out now?"

I think that at a crucial moment for their homeland, every citizen should stand up for his people and state. For his effective protection, the young man must complete military service. Here the state must take a tough stance. And in this case, refusal to serve can indeed be seen as a lack of patriotism.”

Let's make an associative series

"Patriot, who is he?"

  1. Everyone who loves the place where he was born and raised
  2. The one who loves and does not forget his mother, his home
  3. Who proudly realizes that there is no better country on Earth than ours.
  4. The nature of Russia is fabulously rich. The one who not only loves, but also protects nature.
  5. Ready to defend the Fatherland
  6. Defends the prestige of his country
  7. Knows state symbols
  8. I am ready to give all my strength and abilities to my homeland
  9. A patriot is one who decorates the Motherland with his labor
  10. Builds his future, linking it only with his fatherland
  11. Knows his native language
  12. He knows the history of his country, is proud of his ancestors.

Teacher:

Patriots are not born, they are made. And no matter how much anyone talks about patriotism, all these are words. Truth in the soul. As Sergei Yesenin said, “Let us be poor, let us be cold, hungry, but we have a soul, we’ll add from ourselves - the Russian soul.” It was with such thoughts that the anthem to their small homeland “Livensky Waltz” was created by our countrywoman Nadezhda Andreevna Bityutskaya (students sing a song).

GOOD HOUR

    Introduction.

Teacher greeting:

Good afternoon guys, dear guests.

I suggest you watch the video and think about the question:

What is the theme of our class hour?

(showing the video “We are the Motherland”)

I .Introduction

The theme of patriotism is now a burning and sore subject for our country. How to awaken in a child a feeling of love for the Motherland? Namely “to awaken”, because it is in every soul. You can not force to love the Fatherland. Love must be nurtured. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the "problem of patriotism" has become perhaps the most discussed in our country. For everyone and everything today is vying to talk about false patriotism, true patriots, to which they consider themselves, trying to explain what exactly their love for the Motherland consists and is expressed in. Especially fashionable is the win-win patriotic theme on the eve of the elections, which is understandable. Other's

talk about patriotism causes only a wry smirk.

"What kind of patriotism can there be in a state that treats its citizens like this?" - older people say and with a sigh they recall those times when one could really be proud of the Motherland and its achievements. The younger generation more and more contemptuously calls their country "Rashka" and dreams of "getting out" from here.

That was the goal of our class hour “What does it mean to be a patriot today?”

The purpose of our meeting is for you guys to realize that you are proud, worthy people, I want you to have pride for your country, for yourself. Only the proud, the worthy can become a patriot of their country.
And for starters, let's take a closer look at what the concept of patriotism means and who is a patriot?

The words of Vissarion Grigorievich are taken as the epigraph for the class hourBelinsky - Russian thinker publicist, critic, philosopher, writer

"Patriotism, no matter who it is, is proved not by word, but by deed"

V.G. Belinsky

From Ozhegov's dictionary I wrote out that

"Patriotism - Thisdevotion and love to one's fatherland, to one's people.

Patriot - a person animated by patriotism, or a person devoted to the interests of some business, passionately loving something.

II . Information block

1. Respect for the past of their country.

“The history of the Russian people is unique, special, original. Our ancestors created it for thousands of years, they formed statehood, bit by bit collected lands, honed the Russian language, multiplied culture, forged the Russian character. What we have inherited from past generations was obtained by the labor and blood of millions of people.

At respect for the past is an indispensable component of respect for one's contemporaries, for oneself. An example of selfless service to the Motherland is for the younger generation our grandfathers and fathers, who defended the freedom and independence of the country in a difficult battle with the enemy on the fields of the Great Patriotic War. Someone from the wise said: "Where the cultural and historical past of the country is forgotten, the moral decay of the nation invariably begins.

Is it necessary today to cherish the past, to respect it? Isn't it more correct to build a new life without relying on the experience of our predecessors?

Conclusion: At all times, people relied on the experience of their predecessors. The lessons of citizenship and patriotism must begin with a conversation about the historical past, without which neither the present nor the future is possible.

People who are not indifferent to the fate of the country, the people, should not forget their history, be ashamed of it, just as they should not forget and be ashamed of their parents.

In the last elections of city mayors, a little more than 20% of those who have the right to take part in the elections came to the polls.

How can this be explained? How can one treat those who do not go to the polls, is it necessary to apply any measure of punishment to them? Who went to the polls?

Conclusion: In accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation (Part 2 of Article 32), citizens have the right to elect and be elected to bodies of state power and bodies of local self-government. Thus, participation in elections is precisely the right, and not the obligation of a citizen.

We often do not understand that by their non-participation in elections, they provoke the creation of such a system in the country, which will by no means contribute to their prosperity and well-being. Therefore, participation in voting is an active participation in the life of one's country, the feeling of being an integral part of it.

3. Service in the army.

In Soviet times, it was very honorable to serve in it, and someone who was not taken there was somehow looked askance. Now, the prospect of serving, even for one year, does not arouse much desire, much less pleasure. Being interested in the opinion of the parents of future conscripts, sociologists heard very contradictory arguments “for” and “against” military service.

The main reasons for the reluctance to send their children to the army, according to the interviewed parents, are:

The army is a waste of time.”

It's terrible for the lives of the children.” “I'm not sure that this will be of any benefit to my son and the country.”

It's all about the current state of the army: when the reforms take place in it, then you have to serve.”

    Hazing in the army.

    There's a mess there."

I am ready to serve again, so long as he does not serve.”

And what is your opinion? If given the opportunity, would you serve?

Conclusion: Today, society is discussing the issues of reforming the Russian army, its modernization and even the possible inclusion of girls in the conscripts. Let's hope that the transition of the Armed Forces to service on a contract basis will help solve many problems that have accumulated in the modern army, make it more combat-ready and mobile.

4. Tolerance in the national question.

Patriotism should be distinguished from nationalism, chauvinism and racism, which are based on the ideas of national superiority and exclusivity, opposing one nation to another. In terms of the diversity of the national composition of its population, Russia, perhaps, has no equal: here for centuries, side by side, they live and work peacefully, build houses, raise children, rejoice together and grieve together because of common troubles people of more than a hundred nationalities.

The national question in Russia will be acute for a long time to come, because we are a multinational state. It is no coincidence that today we talk so often and so much about tolerance. To the question of a sociological study “Why do people feel hostility towards representatives of other nationalities?” 46% of the respondents said that this reason is that they do not take into account the customs and norms of behavior adopted in Russia, they do not know how to behave, they are alien to this country, therefore they are not its patriots. That is, we are talking about the fact that in their behavior, in its most diverse forms, they behave differently from the majority of Russians.

The national policy of the state should not just help its citizens to answer the questions: “Who are we? Where?”, but also to explain the historical and current meaning of the existence of the state.Have you ever faced a national problem in your life? Is it a fact that representatives of other countries cannot be patriots of Russia?

Conclusion : Belonging to one's own country, one's own state should unite people. In the history of Russia, there are many examples of selfless love and devotion to it on the part of representatives of national minorities. We do not remember nationality when it comes to various kinds of achievements: in sports - Marat Safin, Kostya Dzyu; in literature - Chingiz Aitmatov, Musa Jalil; in medicine, Leo Bakeria; in science - Landau. Patriotism is a constant work of the mind and soul, love and respect for the elders, everyday efforts to ensure that our common homeland - Russia becomes more powerful and more beautiful, so that the citizens of the Russian Federation, regardless of their nationality, live better and believe in the future of their children and grandchildren .

5. Support for the domestic manufacturer.

Surprisingly, today the majority of Russians are in favor of supporting domestic producers and restricting access to the Russian market for imported goods. This is evidenced by the data of a survey conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM).

Almost unanimously, Russians declare their desire to buy Russian products (only 93%), which indicates support for domestic producers, and are in favor of limiting the import of imported goods.

Support for domestic producers should not consist in restricting the access of foreign goods to the Russian market. This opinion was also expressed by the President of Russia at one of the press conferences in the Kremlin. Russia must create competitive products.

The President also said that this principle should also apply to Russian culture: "The dominance of foreign television, film and book production cannot please our producers." In addition, in the field of culture, Russia can successfully compete with other countries.

Conclusion: It is possible that the assertion that support for a domestic manufacturer should be regarded as a manifestation of a patriotic principle is not entirely true, but it is also not unreasonable. Making a choice in favor of Russian products, we thereby provide not only support, but also give confidence to the manufacturer, give him a chance to catch up and overtake his competitor in his industry. And the development of all sectoral structures makes the state the strongest and most powerful power.

6. Faith in the revival of Russia as a strong power.

Look at the map of our country, vast expanses. Vast plains with full-flowing rivers, dense forests and endless steppes spread across our country. Mountain ranges encircle our country with a stone belt. The bowels of the plains and mountains are pantries with countless riches of coal, oil, metal ores, gemstones. Russia is an immense country. Its area is 17 million km². Imagine that we are traveling from the north to the south of Russia. We have to cover a distance of about 4 thousand km. And if we fly by plane from west to east, then we will be on the way for about 12 hours, flying 10 thousand km over the expanses of Russia. But why then do we live so badly ? Why is the standard of living of the average Russian still much lower than in any developed country?

Yes, this country must be protected, there were plenty of people who wanted to encroach on our country. They are still there...

Do you believe in the revival of Russia and what do you think needs to be done for this?

Conclusion: The youth stands up for the revival of Russia as a strong power, as well as for economic and financial stabilization in Russia. Thus, in their aspirations, values and life plans, young people are very close to the older generation, and in this sense, we can talk about the revival of continuity. And for the revival of Russia, you only need to work. Lots and good. Stop relying on someone (we always know what and how to do to someone, but not to us), but to arrange our own life and the lives of those around us, to be a source of the best cultural traditions and moral purity.

II. Studying new material
By educating patriots, business people, one can be sure both in the development and in the formation of a normal society and a strong state.
Everything should be beautiful in a person: face, clothes, soul, and thoughts.
(A.P. Chekhov).
That is why from an early age, along with education, diligence, a healthy lifestyle, aesthetic tastes, morality, sociability, patriotism and other qualities are brought up in every person.
Today in the lesson we will think about that wonderful quality of a person that is not subject to time: it has no "age" and is valued as dearly as anything else - the names of such people live in people's memory for centuries.

A common state language, a common history, a common homeland - all this brings the peoples of the Russian Federation closer together. None among nations great and small. There are only few and numerous, they all have equal rights. All nations deserve respect. Respect for other nations is a trait of a patriot. A real patriot will never humiliate a person of another nationality.
The word "patriot" is borrowed from the Greek language. The ancient Greeks called their countrymen this way (people who were born in one place). Another name for countrymen is compatriots. Already in the most ancient meaning of the word "patriot" the connection between a person and the place of his birth is reflected.
The place of birth is called differently: homeland, fatherland, fatherland. In the last two words, a common root is clearly heard. This root indicates that this is the land of the fathers (ancestors).
What does it mean to be a patriot?
The modern dictionary defines the meaning of the word "patriot" as follows: this is a person who loves his Fatherland, devoted to his people, ready for sacrifices and performing feats in the name of the interests of his Motherland (writing the definition in a notebook).
A person has one homeland, like his own mother. Often these two words are heard side by side - Motherland.
Patriotism- love for the Motherland, one's people (recording the definition in a notebook).
So, to be a patriot, you need to love your homeland. It would seem how simple it is. In the most difficult times, when mortal danger threatened the Fatherland, people rose to its defense. Such a danger was the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
PATRIOTISM IN THE YEARS OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR, the patriotic spirit of the Russian People manifested itself already in the first months of the war. Only in Moscow were formed 12 divisions of the people's militia and 25 destruction battalions. The front-line writer K. Simonov then said about Moscow: "A city that looks like a Russian person, as invincible as the Russian person himself."
Soviet patriotism during the war period was in fact inextricably linked with internationalism, the truly fraternal friendship of the peoples of the USSR.
When we talk about the heroic deeds accomplished in the battle for Moscow, we mean not only the actions of our army - the heroic Soviet fighters, commanders and political workers. What was achieved on the Western Front in October, and then in subsequent battles, became possible only thanks to the unity and common efforts of the troops and the population of the capital and the Moscow region, the effective assistance provided to the army and the defenders of the capital by the whole country, the whole Soviet people .
Patriotism and national unity during the war manifested itself in various forms of support for the Army. Funds were created for the Red Army, Defense, assistance to families and children of front-line soldiers, disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War. At the expense of people of different nationalities contributed to the Fund
The patriotic impulse of the Russian people manifested itself in numerous cases of heroism in various areas of national life, both among the military and among civilians.
The plane of Captain N.F. Gastello on June 26, 1941, during the bombing of an enemy tank column on the Radoshkevichi-Molodechno road, received a hole in the gas tank. There was a fire. Then Gastello, together with the crew (lieutenants A. A. Budenyuk, G. N. Skorobogatov and senior sergeant A. A. Kalinin) decided not to leave the plane on parachutes. The burning vehicle was aimed at a cluster of tanks, motor vehicles and gas tanks, which exploded along with the aircraft, destroying many dozens of German soldiers and a large amount of military equipment.
The war gave more and more examples of the heroic self-sacrifice of Russian soldiers. Infantry school cadet A. Matrosov voluntarily went to the front as a private. Feb 23 1943 in the battle for the village of Chernushki (Kalinin Front) broke through to the enemy bunker and closed the embrasure with his body, sacrificing himself to ensure the success of his unit. Matrosov saved the lives of dozens of his comrades who found themselves under targeted enemy fire. Taking advantage of the confusion of the enemy, the Russian soldiers went on the attack and drove out the invaders.
- Guys, in the name of what feats were performed, incredible hardships and hardships were endured, why did our distant ancestors and recent predecessors sacrifice their wealth, love, life itself? In the name of the interests of the Fatherland. In what way do you, today's schoolchildren, already graduates, see your patriotic service to the Motherland? Are you ready today for any donation and exploits in the name of the interests of the Motherland?
III. Consolidation.
1. When did the Second World War begin and end. How many days and nights did it last?
2. What feat did Private Alexander Matrosov accomplish? How many soldiers repeated it in WWII?
3. What feat did pilot Viktor Talalikhin accomplish? When it was?
4. When did the Victory Parade take place on Red Square in Moscow?
III.Reflection
At the final stage of reflection of the material, students argue their positions on the topic of the lesson: “What does it mean to be a patriot”, in which there is no longer a question mark.
IV. Homework: pick up proverbs about patriotism.

Shore your ocean stormed,

The Urals tested us for strength,

But with its multicolored aurora,

Yamal illuminated the whole of Russia.

We will never give you up

Here are our native cities,

The most important wealth of great Russia

Stay, Yamal, forever!

The movement of time is constant. One generation follows another. Russia is going through many events. Today, in pursuit of material wealth, people forget about patriotism, love for the Motherland, about the revival of our society..

Being a patriot means working for your country, for your people in their interests, respectfully and carefully treats history and your past.

One cannot be a patriot without feeling a personal connection with the Motherland, without knowing how our ancestors, our fathers and grandfathers loved and cherished it. And we have much to be proud of! Let us remember the feat of the people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945!

Historically, love for the Motherland, patriotism in the Russian state at all times have been a feature of the national character. But due to recent changes, the loss of traditional Russian patriotic consciousness by our society has become more and more noticeable. Petty-bourgeois-philistine concepts, reflected in the saying: "My hut is on the edge, I don't know anything," came into life.

The psychological and spiritual state of Russians today is a constant anxiety about the prospects of their own lives and the lives of their loved ones. The most acute problems that do not allow a single person, or the average Russian family, or the region, or the country as a whole to breathe freely. Russians do not feel like masters in their own country, they become strangers in it: both in big cities and in villages forgotten by God and power.

It is necessary that the citizens of Russia be able to live in their country, study in their country, work in their country, defend their country and be proud of their country.

What is "patriotism" and what kind of person can be called a patriot? The answer to this question is rather complicated.

Patriotism - high humanfeeling, it is so multifaceted in its content that it cannot be defined in a few words. This is love for relatives and close people, and for the small Motherland, and pride in one’s people, the desire to do specific everyday things to improve the condition of one’s homeland, embellish it and equip it (starting from maintaining order, neatness and strengthening friendly relations with neighbors in one’s own country). apartment, entrance, house, yard to a worthy development of their entire city, district, region, Fatherland as a whole).

Patriotism is secret a feeling that is not necessarily noticeable to others, located deep in the soul (subconscious). Patriotism is judged not by words, but by the deeds of each person. A patriot is not the one who calls himself that, but the one who will be honored as such by others, but above all by his compatriots

Patriotism is a feeling individual , for each it manifests itself in different ways, and each understands it differently, but everyone is united by one preservation and strengthening of their homeland. In our time, the very word "patriot" sometimes has to be heard with mockery, with irony, which in itself is louder than all the banners calling for patriotism. Or a person, naming his shortcomings or merits, most often can hear about how honest, smart he is, but few characterize themselves by calling themselves a “patriot” ..........

I would like to add, honestly, before I didn’t even think about whether I was a patriot? It turned out that you need to find out only one thing: what is the Motherland for you and does it cause awe in your heart?

Russia, Russia - my great Motherland!

There is a song called "Where the motherland begins ...". So, my homeland begins with Yamal, with my native city, where my closest people live.

There are five weathers a day: it sows, blows, waters, sprinkles. A cloud will crawl - a cold shadow will cover the tundra. Behind her, the second one will sprinkle with frequent rain. The third one will drum with ice grits. Fourth - falls asleep with snow. Well, if the fifth passes by - then again the sun and heat.

Beautiful tundra!!!

It is brightest in summer. There are colorful birds in the puddles: white, black, red.

On bumps are bright flowers: blue, red, yellow. But the tundra is best in spring evenings. The plain becomes dark, and the whole vast sky above it becomes golden. Endless silence. And time has stopped.

Courageous, courageous people live in the North. Severe nature requires a person to be bold, resolute, strong. In the North, people breed deer. Deer is a very useful animal. He replaces a man with a horse and a car, he gives him meat and warm wool. Reindeer herders graze a herd of reindeer far away in the tundra, where the animals find their favorite food - reindeer moss.

People who are engaged in gas production live in Yamal - gas producers. They produce gas for the country, which people need.

And our tundra is good.
The bushes darken with lynx fur,
Snowflakes are circling slowly
Shine in the sun like beads.

In nature, everything is rational and beautiful, you just need to learn to see this beauty, be able to protect it, preserve it for future generations. Nature is magnificent in itself, and at the same time, how many gifts it brings to people! Communication with nature brings extraordinary spiritual strength. It is no coincidence that holy people went to remote places to communicate only with God and nature.

Before, I did not understand the word Motherland. When my mother said: “If I had wings, I would fly to my homeland,” I did not understand her. But three years ago we went to visit her hometown. And I saw how my mother rejoices in every bush, every tree, knows all the paths in the forest, because she was born here, her childhood passed here. I was happy for my mother. I understood what the Motherland is!

I am proud that I live in Russia, among these forests and fields, I want tofuture generations received from us the same beauty of their native nature!

For this you need endlessly love your land, treat it with care, increasing its wealth.

We all need to become better, cleaner, kinder.

Stop hating and blaming Russia for not being able to give its citizens what other states can give. The life of an entire nation and each person cannot consist only in the search for pleasure. We are surrounded by many homeless, hungry, unemployed, infirm people.

Yes, we must become more tolerant of each other, forgive voluntary and involuntary mistakes. And then people will believe in the best, they will be happy! Well, happiness is when you are healthy and your loved ones are healthy, when your family lives in abundance, when you are confident in the future, when you love and are loved. For Russian citizens, these values have always been and remain!
