Myths about melt water. Video: the benefits of melt water

It is impossible to overestimate the importance of the aquatic environment for the normal life of any living being, including humans, therefore close attention is paid to water quality. There is an opinion that it is melt water that has special beneficial properties, but not everyone knows how to prepare it, what are the benefits and harms of this product.

Thawed water has a unique composition that does not contain heavy metals and deuterium isotopes. In its structure, it resembles natural spring water, pure and light, without harmful impurities, and is a source of energy and human health.

Structure of melt water

Before reaching the consumer, ordinary tap water makes a long and difficult journey, absorbing various information, including negative information. If a liquid is frozen to a certain temperature and then thawed, it returns to its natural structure and acquires energy purity.

At the moment when water turns into ice, its structure changes at the crystalline level. Having thawed, frozen water restores its original structural, informational and energy state.

From a physical point of view, the size of the molecules in melt water is much smaller than in an ordinary liquid. In addition, they are comparable in structure to the cellular protoplasm in the human body. Thanks to these two qualities, the molecules of the melted liquid easily penetrate the cell membrane, helping to speed up chemical reactions and simplifying the interaction between water and other substances.

In the composition of ordinary tap water, the atoms of the light isotope of hydrogen are replaced by heavy isotopes of deuterium. Such a liquid is called deuterium, or heavy hydrogen. Deuterium has a negative effect on a living organism, causing significant harm to it. In melt water, deuterium is practically absent, thereby providing its useful qualities.

The benefit of melt water is that it does not contain chlorides, salts, deuterium isotopes, and other dangerous compounds.

Beneficial features

Melt water is not at all a cure for all diseases, but only contributes to the proper functioning of the body. Under natural conditions, this natural wealth is obtained by melting glaciers in the mountains. It has been noted that the peoples inhabiting mountainous regions and using natural melt water for a long time are distinguished by excellent health and longevity.

According to the Polzateevo website, clean water has a positive effect on the human condition. Efficiency increases, brain activity increases, the time required for rest and recuperation is reduced.

Here are some useful properties that defrosted liquid has:

  • tones and refreshes the body;
  • improves the functioning of the excretory system;
  • reduces the amount of cholesterol;
  • helps to lose weight;
  • helps to strengthen the immune system;
  • normalizes the work of the heart and vascular system;
  • help to cope with skin diseases;
  • elevates mood and improves well-being.

One of the beneficial properties of melt water is a beneficial effect on the skin and the ability to help a person get rid of allergic reactions. With neurodermatitis, psoriasis or eczema, it is necessary to include defrosted liquid in the diet. Within a few days after the start of the use of this natural medicine, itching will decrease, the rash and redness of the skin will disappear.

The benefit of thawed liquid is also that it is able to accelerate metabolic processes, which guarantees rapid cell recovery and slowing down the withering of the body.

Harm of melt water

The thawed liquid cannot have any negative effect. Only an uncleaned and improperly prepared product can cause harm. However, in order to achieve the maximum effect and allow melt water to show its beneficial qualities, you should follow a few simple rules:

  • you need to start drinking water with a small (100 ml) portion;
  • gradually increase the amount of defrosted liquid;
  • the proportion of melt water in the diet should not be more than 1/3 of the total fluid intake.

Cooking technology

Proper preparation of frozen water involves following several rules:

  • it is better to freeze the liquid in a plastic food container, since glassware during the freezing process can break from an increase in the volume of liquid;
  • snow and ice from the refrigerator cannot be used as raw materials, as chemicals can accumulate in them;
  • useful properties are stored for 8 hours from the moment of defrosting.

You should not try to make healing water from snow or ice collected on the street, as many dirty and harmful particles settle in them.

Self-preparation of healing melt water will require very little time and effort. Ordinary water from the water supply must be left for several hours or passed through a filter and poured into a plastic container in the amount of 1 liter. This is the most convenient volume, since freezing occurs quickly and evenly, and the container takes up little space in the freezer.

Cover the container tightly with a lid and place in the freezer. After 2 hours, the frozen crust is removed from the surface. This layer of ice mainly contains deuterium, which is harmful to the body. The rest of the liquid continues to freeze.

After 2/3 of the volume turns into ice, the unfrozen moisture is drained, as it also contains harmful chemical additives. The remaining ice is thawed at room temperature. This will be the healing melt water.

How to drink melt water

The amount of fluid taken daily is calculated depending on the weight of the person. For every kilogram of weight, there are 5 ml of water. The first dose of a medicinal drink is done in the morning before meals. Then during the day you can drink another 2-3 glasses of this liquid, which can raise muscle tone and give a boost of energy.

Infusions of medicinal herbs on melt water are especially valued, since the effectiveness of the drug is significantly increased, the possibility of allergies and other adverse reactions is reduced.

Benefits for weight loss

With the help of melt water, you can get rid of a few extra pounds, because this healing liquid speeds up the metabolic process, helping the body to completely get rid of toxins and toxins. For weight loss, you should drink thawed water every day in the prescribed quantities.

Nutritionists have developed various schemes for drinking melt water for weight loss. However, all of them are based on the same principle - 200 ml of water before meals. Many experts are of the opinion that the greatest effect can be achieved by drinking one glass of liquid in the morning on an empty stomach, the same amount at lunch and in the evening an hour before meals. It is important that the water has just been thawed - so the healing properties are maximum.

Of course, a good result can be achieved only if, together with the use of healing moisture, you follow the general rules of nutrition: give up salty and fatty foods, do not abuse sweets, and get rid of bad habits. Instead of juice, tea, you can drink melted water.

Melt water for plants

Many gardeners who grow seedlings at home, or lovers of indoor plants, notice that after watering with ordinary tap water, the earth becomes covered with a white coating and becomes hard as a stone. The fact is that tap water contains chemical additives, in particular chlorine, and after evaporation leaves traces of harmful chemicals on the soil surface. This can adversely affect the growth and development of plants.

Such problems can be avoided by watering your plantings with melt water. Light and soft moisture prevents the formation of a crust, hardening of the soil, leaving the earth fluffy and breathable. It is very beneficial for plants. Purified from negative information, water after defrosting has incredible biological activity and has a beneficial effect on all living things. Watering the seedlings with melt water, you can get a very rich harvest.

Melt water is a worthy replacement for ordinary tap water. If you spend a little time and effort on its preparation, you can fill your body with new energy and maintain health for a long time.

HEAVY AND RADIOACTIVE WATER ISOTOPS AND WATER,

DESALATED BY THE ISRAELI METHOD AND ISRAELI TECHNOLOGY

( Review of research results, practical experience

and conclusions of prominent representatives of the world science of water and water supply)

Twenty-five patients of different ages used only melt water for drinking and cooking for three months. The results exceeded all expectations: everyone improved their general health, the amount of cholesterol in the blood decreased, and their metabolism improved. And all this in three months.

7. 2003 (2nd source of information). In November of the same 2003 ) of the year at the 8th All-Russian (international) scientific conference "Physical and chemical processes in the selection of atoms and molecules", the general director of the company "Longway", candidate of chemical sciences A. Timakov, made a report "The main effects of light water" (light, unlike heavy called water in which the amount of deuterium is less than in natural waters). In accordance with the topic of the report, A. Timakov basically talks not about the dangers of deuterium, but about the benefits of removing it from drinking water. But from the descriptions of the positive effects of this removal, the dangers of deuterium and heavy water are very clearly visible. The speaker says:

«… In the last decade, it has been shown that natural water, depleted in heavy isotopes of hydrogen and oxygen, has a stimulating effect on various biological objects and even medicinal properties. These results are interesting in their own right, since they indicate that a living cell is able to respond to small changes in the deuterium content in water. This is all the more surprising since these changes occur at a very low absolute level (30 ÷ 150 ppm), and thus have a "homeopathic" character. How can the results be explained? Especially since they were obtained by several independent groups of scientists in our country and abroad? Let's try to figure it out.

It is now reliably established that there is a direct relationship between the isotopic composition of a person and the composition of water and food consumed. Given the anomalously high fluctuations in the deuterium content in natural water, it would be very interesting to see how these fluctuations affect human health. If, of course, there is such an influence at all. It is clear that it is rather difficult, if not impossible, to isolate this effect from among other factors. Still, it would be interesting to analyze the currently available statistical data on various diseases from this angle.

The huge impact of the environment, nutritional structure and water quality on human health is convincingly demonstrated by data on the incidence of cancer in various regions of Russia - they range from 500 to 1600 patients per 100 thousand population (data from 1990-1991). At the same time, the lowest incidence rate recorded for the North-East of the country, areas along the Lena, Irtysh, Ob rivers and their tributaries, as well as areas adjacent to Lake Baikal. I cannot fail to note that all these areas are characterized by a lower content of deuterium in the water ...

If we consider deuterium as a microelement, which is part of not only water, but also the most important organic compounds, then in terms of importance it can be put in one of the first places, if not in the first place. Among other elements in the human body, deuterium is right behind sodium. Its content in blood plasma is 4 times more than potassium, 6 times more than calcium, 10 times more than magnesium, and much more than the content of such essential trace elements as fluorine, iron, iodine, copper, manganese and cobalt.

Based on the natural variations of deuterium, it can be assumed that the content of deuterium in the human body can vary in a fairly wide range from 9 to 16 mmol / l - even if we assume that during life it does not accumulate in the body due to isotope exchange reactions. Although this does not appear to be the case. So, according to Lobyshev V.N. in human blood plasma, the concentration of deuterium is higher than in the drinking water taken by him. This means that the deuterium content in plasma is greater than 16 mmol/L.

Since hydrogen is part of not only water but also macromolecules that make up proteins, fats and carbohydrates, we can confidently assume that these fluctuations cannot go unnoticed by the body. Moreover, in terms of the number of atoms in the human body, hydrogen confidently takes first place.

It can be assumed that in order to increase vitality and mobilize them to fight against adverse external influences, we need to cleanse the body of heavy isotopes of biogenic elements in the same way as we cleanse it of chemical slags. Now, I hope, it is clear why the purification of water from deuterium, and through it the liquids of the human body, has recently attracted the attention of an increasing number of researchers ...

According to Varnavsky I.N. water with a deuterium content of 130÷135 ppm increases both the germination and growth rate of seedlings of legumes, sunflower and wheat, surpassing such well-known plant growth stimulants as fumar and fumarin in their action. Decoctions on such water, obtained from medicinal plant materials, are 1.5 times more biologically active than decoctions on ordinary distillate ... It was found that water with a reduced content of heavy isotopes has a stimulating effect on the root system of oat seeds ... The concentration of deuterium in the test water was changed from 100 to 60 ppm. In light water, a higher percentage of seed germination was also noted: in relation to control 1 - by 15÷20%, in relation to control 2 - by 80÷110%.

Biotesting using a cellular test object - granulated bull sperm was carried out at the Research Institute of Physical and Chemical Medicine. The method is based on the analysis of the dependence of the mobility index of a suspension of spermatozoa on time and the determination of the degree of suppression (or, conversely, stimulation) of their mobility under the influence of the test water. The mobility index is estimated by automatically counting the number of intensity fluctuations of the scattered radiation passing through the optical probe. The measurement results are automatically issued in the form of toxicity indices: The obtained results indicate that the purification of drinking water from deuterium makes it possible to increase the average time of spermatozoa motility in relation to the control medium, and with a residual deuterium content in water of less than 100 ppm, one can speak of a cleaning on the test object under study.
The radioprotective properties of light water were first discovered by I.N. Varnavsky. in experiments on Drosophila melanogaster. In a later work, the radioprotective effect of light water was recorded when mice were irradiated using a cobalt gun. The survival rate of animals of the experimental group, which took light water (30 ppm) for 15 days before irradiation, was 2.5 times higher than in the control group (irradiation dose of 850 R). At the same time, it was found that in the surviving mice of the experimental group, the number of leukocytes and erythrocytes remained within the normal range, while in the control group it significantly decreased.

According to published data, the use of light water by cancer patients during or after radiation therapy sessions can improve blood composition, stop hair loss and relieve nausea after the sessions.

The immunomodulatory properties of light water have been found in experiments with artificially induced inflammation and experimental infections in immunocompromised laboratory animals and in experiments on Drosophila melanogaster.

The antitumor properties of light water were first discovered in 1993 by the Hungarian microbiologist G. Shomlai. During further experiments, it was found that:

1) in an environment with a lower than natural deuterium content, the division of MCF-7 tumor cells (mammary adenocarcinoma) begins with a delay of 5-10 hours;
2) in nearly 60% of immunosuppressed mice transplanted with MDA and MCF-7 human breast tumors, light water (30 ppm) ingestion caused complete tumor regression;
3) in mice with transplanted PC-3 tumors (human prostate tumor), the intake of light water (90 ppm) allowed to increase the survival rate by 40%, while the ratio of the number of dividing cells to those that died in the tumors of the animals of the experimental group was 1.5:3, and the control group - 3.6:1.

During clinical trials of light water, conducted in 1994-2001. in Hungary, it has been shown that:

- the level of survival of patients who used light water in combination with traditional methods of treatment or after them is significantly higher than in patients who used only chemotherapy or radiation therapy. According to G. Shomlai, the survival rate of patients with stage 4 breast cancer, who used light water during standard treatment, was 3 times higher after two years than in patients who used only traditional methods of treatment;

- the use of light water during or after chemotherapy sessions allows you to partially or completely remove the immunosuppressive effect of a cytostatic, reduce or completely eliminate the adverse side effects of the use of chemotherapy drugs.

8. 2004-2005.Interesting thoughts about the role of heavy and light isotopes of water in the life of the human body, as well as no less interesting information about the experimental installation created and tested by the author for removing heavy isotopes from water and about his experiment on volunteers on the assessment of the medical and biological effect of the use of protium (light) water, M. Muratov outlined in the work “On light and heavy water” (library www.svitk.ru).

“Since the 40s of the last century, it has been known that water itself is a heterogeneous substance, and in nature it is a mixture of waters formed by various isotopes of hydrogen H and oxygen O. In addition to molecules of light (protium) water - 1H216O, consisting of two atoms of light hydrogen 1H (protium) and one atom of light oxygen 16O, in natural water there are 8 more types of water molecules, let's call them heavy, formed by stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen and oxygen. Light water 1Н216О makes up about 99.727% of the volume of all water on Earth, heavy oxygen water 1H2 18O - 0.2% of the volume, and 1H2 17O - 0.04% of the volume. Heavy hydrogen water 2H2O - 0.033% by volume, and distributed in the ratio 2H2 18O -73.5%, 2H2 17O -14.7% and 2H2 16O -11.5%. It must be assumed that these values are theoretical and averaged, the author is not aware of any studies on the distribution of heavy water species over the Earth. Most likely, such studies are costly and have not yet found practical application. On average, the water of freshwater sources contains about 330 mg/l of heavy hydrogen and about 2 g/l of heavy oxygen H2 18O. These values are comparable, and the latter even exceeds the allowable salt content in drinking water.

We can say that natural water is a mixture of molecules 1H 2 16O, 1H 2 17O, 1H2 18O, 1H2H 16O, 1H2H 17O, 1H2H 18O, 2H216O, 2H2 17O, 2H218O, dissolved salts and chemicals and suspension formed by biological objects and inorganic particles. When studying the biological effects of heavy water, various inhibitory effects of water molecules 1H 2 17O, 1H2 18O, 1H2H 16O, 1H2H 17O, 1H2H 18O, 2H216O, 2H2 17O, 2H218O on living organisms were revealed. This led to the conclusion that it is necessary to remove heavy water molecules from natural water when it is used for drinking and food preparation. When heavy water is removed, water with a high content of 1H2 16O is formed, usually called "light", which is characterized by the fact that the metabolism in the body, through this water, occurs at the highest possible speed. This is explained by the fact that the mobility of 2H and O2H ions is almost 50% less than that of 1H hydrogen and OH- ions.

The rate of catalytic reactions, which play an important role in the implementation of metabolism and the normal functioning of the body, is 6 times less in heavy water than in light water. Independent researchers through many years of various experiments have found that light water has a beneficial effect on living organisms, is an immunomodulator and stimulator of the functions of organs of living beings, and has a clear antitumor effect. So, in the last 10-15 years, an idea has been formed, and it has become clear that the best way to optimize the metabolism of organisms is to improve the quality of water by completely removing toxic and harmful substances and heavy isotope modifications of water, using only light water for drinking and cooking.

Requirements for drinking water are determined by GOST 2874-82 and a significant circumstance is that the standard does not regulate the content of heavy water in drinking water. The obvious reason for this is the low awareness of the whole society about the biological effects on living organisms of drinking water containing heavy water, the lack and incompleteness of research such influences.

From the very beginning of the origin of life on Earth, living beings have used natural water and the substances contained in it as a ready-made set, a "food broth" for life, reproduction and self-treatment. In addition to pollution, drinking water contains biomicroelements necessary or useful for the body (potassium , calcium, magnesium, lithium, iodine and many other useful components).The linear dimensions of atoms and molecules of useful biomicroelements are commensurate with the particle sizes of pollutants, therefore filters with high retention remove most of all compounds contained in it, both harmful and useful Such well-purified water is close in its properties to distilled water.”

And M. Muratov tells about his experiment.

“... an experimental plant for water purification from its heavy isotope modifications was assembled. 6-month use of light water showed: When consumed in food and drink in the amount of 2.5-3 liters per day, a significant improvement in well-being on the 5th day of use. This was reflected in the fact that drowsiness and chronic fatigue disappeared, "heaviness and nagging" in the legs disappeared, seasonal allergic manifestations decreased without the use of drugs. For 10 days, noticeably, about 0.5 diopters, vision improved. A month later, pain in the knee joint disappeared. After 4 months, the symptoms of chronic pancreatitis disappeared and slight pains in the liver area disappeared. For 6 months, the pains associated with coronary artery disease disappeared (in this regard, I drank vitamins for 10 days) and pain in the back and lower back. 1 viral infection passed in a very mild form, "on the legs". Decreased manifestations of varicose veins. Friends, whom I could persuade to use light water for a long time, all talk about a noticeable improvement in well-being. There is a noticeable improvement in the taste of both water and products prepared using treated water. The latter fact is confirmed by the tasting commission of an industrial enterprise, and is clearly visible to ordinary water consumers. IMHO, you need to drink and cook food on light water!

9. 2005Interviewchief designer of the direction of the Research Center. Keldysh, coordinator of work on the Martian project Vitaly Semyonov (see the newspaper "Business in Togliatti" dated March 31, 2005): « Deuterium is a long-known isotope (variant) of hydrogen. In ordinary water, the content of deuterium is negligible, some hundred thousandths. But this almost ghostly isotope, as it turned out, plays a very noticeable, and moreover, negative role for humans. Various researchers, independently of each other, came to a consensus: the isotope is harmful to the body. The less it remains in the water , all the better".

AI&PIISRAEL

Water is a unique product with amazing properties. People have been talking about its healing qualities since time immemorial. Melt water is a special product, the benefits and harms of which cause a lot of controversy in the circles of scientists. Let's try and deal with this issue.

Melt water, its properties and structure

It is impossible to talk about the benefits of melt water without touching on its incredible properties. The source of such a liquid is ice, which is obtained by freezing ordinary water and then melting. During the transition of a liquid to a solid state, its crystal structure undergoes changes.

The peculiarity of water lies also in its ability to absorb a wide variety of information, including negative. To eliminate all negativity, the liquid must be cleansed in terms of energy and return to its natural structure. For these purposes, the procedure of freezing and thawing water is used, as a result of which its composition is “zeroed out” and returns to its original state, both structural and energy and informational.

That ordinary water, which is known to everyone, if it is frozen and then thawed, changes the size of its molecules, which become smaller. As for their structure, it is now identical to the protoplasm of cells, and this allows them to seep through cell membranes without obstacles. This leads to the fact that chemical reactions become more intense, because molecules are indispensable members of metabolic processes. This allows you to influence a different plan of interaction between melt water and other components. As a result, the body saves energy that would be spent on assimilation. Otherwise, we can say that the movement of melt water molecules is carried out resonantly, interference is not created, which allows better energy generation.

A little about the benefits

In the process of freezing water, it is purified from heavy impurities. In addition, the benefits of melt water come down to the following points:

  1. Tap water that we are accustomed to contains deuterium, a heavy isotope of hydrogen. Its concentration is small and is not capable of harming the human body. But deuterium will not survive freezing and thawing, it completely disappears from the liquid in the process. People who use melt water state a cheerful state, their well-being is also at the highest level.
  2. In the modern world, an increasing number of people are trying to solve the problem of excess weight with the help of melt water. Such a liquid has a positive effect on metabolic processes, and this provokes the rapid burning of the fat layer. There is another version: the human body has to expend more energy, since cold water has to be “warmed up”.
  3. Melt water is much softer than ordinary water, because it does not contain harmful impurities. Such a liquid has an excellent effect on the composition of the blood and the work of the heart muscle, and also activates the activity of the brain.
  4. Due to the special structure and undeniable purity of the product, a delicate cleansing of the body and the fight against dermatological pathologies are carried out. The skin is rejuvenated and its condition improves.
  5. If you drink purified melt water in the system, then you can count on the fact that the protective properties of the body will increase significantly, which means that it will be possible to resist a number of diseases.

Thus, melt water has a positive effect on the entire body as a whole.

Can melt water be harmful?

If melt water is prepared without observing the necessary rules, then it can harm the body. This is typical for the following situations:

  1. It is unreasonable to use street snow to prepare the product, because it contains a lot of impurities, heavy metals and harmful salts. If earlier it was still possible to prepare melt water in this way in those areas that are quite remote from large cities, today, due to the far unfavorable environmental situation, it is strictly forbidden to use snow to obtain melt liquid.
  2. Usually, for personal use, melt water is obtained in a fairly simple way: first, it is frozen, then it is allowed to melt at room temperature. For these purposes, you can not use tap water that has survived more than one boil. In this case, the structure of the liquid undergoes physical changes, which is fraught with the formation of dangerous chlorine-containing compounds that can lead to the development of oncological ailments.
  3. You should drink melted water immediately after it has been thawed, until all the unique properties have evaporated.

Important! It must be remembered that not a sufficiently comfortable temperature of the thawed liquid, consumed immediately, can cause the development of tonsillitis or bronchitis.

It is also not worth abusing the intake of melted liquid. This is fraught with consequences in the form of disturbed metabolic processes and deterioration of well-being.

According to studies, the use of this product is allowed no more than 30% of the total volume of liquid per day.

For maximum effect, melt water should be properly prepared. It is best to do this in a certain sequence.

  1. For freezing, the use of plain tap water is allowed, but it is recommended to leave it for 3-4 hours beforehand to infuse. During this time, all gases will be able to leave the liquid. Only after that it becomes suitable for freezing.
  2. The liquid should be poured into any plastic container. Important! In no case do not use glass jars, there is a high probability that they will burst. Metal utensils should also be abandoned, because metal, when interacting with water, does not affect it in the best way, depriving the mass of useful components.
  3. Already settled clean tap water is poured into a clean plastic container. The dishes should be closed with a lid and placed in the freezer. Once the liquid is completely frozen, it can be pulled out and left in the room, allowing it to melt.
Despite the simplicity and unpretentiousness of the process of preparing melt water, you should remember one "but". In this way, it will be possible to obtain water that will not be 100% purified from impurities and harmful components.

There is another way to freeze. A plastic container with liquid poured into it is determined in the freezer. But as soon as a thin crust of ice appears on the surface, it should be separated and discarded. The fact is that a significant part of the harmful components accumulate in this ice crust. The liquid that remains is removed in the freezer, but it is not completely frozen. As soon as most of the contents turn into ice, you need to get rid of the remaining water, since it is precisely this that contains the content of harmful impurities.

The resulting ice is defrosted, after which it is ready for use. Drinking such melt water is allowed only in its pure form. Such water should not be used for cooking, as when heated, all useful properties are lost.

Rules of use

It is advisable to follow the general advice regarding the use of melt water:

Reception of such a liquid should be carried out only in its raw form. The most useful is considered to be a product with a temperature of about 10 degrees.

  • The daily norm is set within 4 glasses.
  • In the morning after waking up, it is recommended to take a glass of melted water.
  • It is advisable to drink it before meals.
  • The duration of the course of admission is determined by the desired result.

It must be remembered that even in the case of preparing melt water in compliance with all the rules, it should be taken with caution. Pay special attention to how you feel after taking an unusual product, and if it worsens, then you should stop and refrain from taking it. The fact is that the individual components contained in this product can cause a completely opposite effect.

Melt water is a special product, the purity and quality of which cannot be doubted. This energy drink, given to us by nature, is able to supply the human body with energy, health and strength, but only if it is used correctly.

"Heavy (deuterium) water"

Heavy (deuterium) water.

In addition to ordinary protium water, in nature there is the so-called heavy (deuterium) water, which has a 20 percent higher viscosity and a 10 percent higher specific gravity. The chemical formula of heavy water is: D2O. Instead of hydrogen, a heavy water molecule contains deuterium atoms, which differs from ordinary hydrogen in that, in addition to the proton (which is the nucleus of the hydrogen atom), the composition of the nucleus of the deuterium atom also includes a neutron. This increases the mass of heavy water. The molecular weight of deuterium water (deuterium oxide) is 20.027.

Heavy water was isolated from natural water in 1933 at the University of California, USA by G. Lewis and R. McDonald. Academician N. D. Zelinsky, having learned about the discovery of heavy water, expressed surprise at the very fact of its existence, since for a long time nothing was known about it, although we introduce it together with ordinary water into our body, while we do not have information about its benefits or harms.

And by the way, the small amounts of this new water consumed by a person during his life are an order of magnitude that cannot be ignored. Developing his thought further, the academician notices that heavy water cannot but take part in the evolution of chemical forms in the biosphere and lithosphere. And he is interested in the question: does this water accumulate in nature or does its quantity decrease? In this case, for us, this issue is cardinal, since we set ourselves the goal of obtaining clean water, which has the properties of healing the human body, and indeed, all living things. Indeed, as it turned out, heavy water suppresses all living things, unlike ordinary water, which is the basis of life. These are the sharply polar properties of protium water and deuterium water.

Deuterium water in its molecule contains two atoms of deuterium, which, despite its insignificant specific gravity at the molecular level and in the total amount of water consumed, causes negative weather, adversely affecting life processes. Harm brings deuterium. At present, it, as well as the compounds containing it, is quite well studied, perhaps even better than many other elements of the periodic table, since industrial demand has arisen for heavy water. The influence of deuterium on the vital activity of organisms was studied: it was found that in high concentrations for higher plants and animals it is a poison.

The content of deuterium in the water of the oceans is taken as the norm. In sea water, for every atom of deuterium, there are 6800 atoms of protium, that is, ordinary hydrogen, which is 0.015% by number of atoms or 0.017% by mass. Continental waters contain less deuterium, respectively 0.0135% and 0.015% of atomic weight and mass. Is it a lot or a little? Quite a bit, if we compare the amount of deuterium in the earth's crust with the amounts of such common elements in nature as oxygen, silicon or iron. But this is not at all small if we consider deuterium in water and organisms as a trace element. Then he should take one of the first places among other trace elements.

At first, no one paid attention to the negligible concentrations of deuterium as an active factor in life. BN Rodimov was the first to point this out. Later, other scientists in the USSR, the USA, Brazil, Mexico and other countries began to deal with this issue.

What is found in these studies? It turns out that even partial removal of deuterium from ordinary water turns it into an active life stimulant.

This leads to a very important corollary:
deuterium is harmful to organisms at any concentration, even at the one in which it is found in ordinary water, and, consequently, in any living organism.

We are accustomed to compare or correlate the amounts of different substances by mass. In the case of considering the influence of hydrogen or deuterium on life processes, this principle should be abandoned. What matters here is not mass or weight, but the total number of atoms. With this approach, it turns out that 2/3 of water, like organisms, consists of hydrogen atoms and only 1/3 of oxygen atoms. Thus, life has a hydrogen basis (microhydrin - to release hydrogen in the body for energy). And if we take into account that the hydrogen base also provides the life of our Sun, which provides heat for life on Earth, then we can think about the question of what role hydrogen plays in life formation at the cosmic level. In this regard, it is interesting to note that from the center of our galaxy in different directions there is an unstoppable movement of again hydrogen ...

For us, in the framework of our considerations, it is important that the removal from ordinary water of only a part of the small admixture of deuterium included in its composition reduces its content in the body and serves as a stimulus, activator of vital processes and the basis of recovery. Unfortunately, not much has been done to elucidate the mechanism of such stimulation, and hence the role and behavior of deuterium in biochemical processes, although the current state of biochemistry makes it possible to study these processes at the molecular and even submolecular level.

Doesn't it follow from all that has been said that water, subject to a decrease in the deuterium content in it, can become one of the foundations for the development and prosperity of life?

We know that some zones and regions of the Earth are characterized by precipitation largely freed from deuterium. In these places, people are distinguished by their better health and longevity.

The improvement of drinking water is associated not only with a decrease in deuterium water in it. It is important that the water we drink is reasonably pure in the usual sense. The required purity is not always achieved by cleaning it in stationary conditions. Every drop of tap water makes the most difficult journey before breaking free from the city or village water supply and meeting with those who need it. Each of these drops could tell about difficult roads through mountains, valleys, fields and groves, about geological rocks that are leached, enriching water with various salts, and finally, about a wide variety of harmful substances that dissolve in water and are mostly the result of human activity. . Then numerous drops fall into the settling tanks of the water treatment plant and, after passing through the filter system, turn into drinking water. However, the purity of such water is often unacceptable for humans, and even for laboratory purposes.

In the distant past, man did not think about what water is and what is its origin. There was an opinion that it was an element, but now it is known that it is a chemical compound.

In 1932, the whole world spread the news that on the planet Earth, in addition to simple water, there is also heavy water. It is now known that there may be 135 isotopic varieties of it.

Compound

Heavy water, which is also called deuterium oxide, does not differ in chemical composition from simple ordinary water, but instead of the hydrogen atoms contained in water, it contains 2 heavy isotopes of hydrogen, the so-called deuterium. Heavy water has the formula 2H2O or D2O. Outwardly, there are no differences between a heavy and a simple liquid, but they differ in their properties.

Chemical reactions in heavy water are weaker than in ordinary water.

Heavy water is slightly toxic. Scientific experiments have shown that replacing light hydrogen atoms with deuterium by 25% causes infertility in animals. If you further increase its content in water, the animal dies. However, a number of organisms survive at 70% deuterium. A person can drink about a glass of such a liquid without health consequences. When excreted from the body within a few days.

Heavy water has the property of accumulating in the remainder of the electrolyte if a reusable one is carried out. It absorbs the vapors of a simple liquid in the open air, i.e. it is hygroscopic.

One of the most important properties of this type of water is that it almost does not absorb neutrons, and this allows it to be used in nuclear reactors for the neutron deceleration process, and in chemistry it is used as an isotope tracer.

Heavy water, receiving

In 1933-1946, electrolysis was the only enrichment method. Later, more advanced technologies appeared. Modern mass production in the input stream uses a liquid distilled from the electrolyte, with a heavy water content of 0.1-0.2%.

The first stage of concentration adopts two-temperature countercurrent hydrogen sulfide isotope exchange technology, the heavy water outlet concentration is 5-10%. The second stage is cascade electrolysis of an alkaline solution at zero temperature, the output concentration is 99.75-99.995%.

Russian scientists have developed original technologies for the production and purification of heavy water. In 1995, the high-efficiency plant was put into commercial operation. The production fully meets the needs of enterprises with heavy water in any volume, and also allows it to be exported abroad.

Application

Heavy water is used in various biological and chemical processes. Scientists have determined that such a liquid prevents the development of bacteria, fungi, algae, and if it contains 50% deuterium, it acquires antimutagenic properties, promotes the growth of biological mass and accelerates puberty in humans.

European scientists conducted experiments on mice with a malignant tumor. Heavy water killed both the disease and its carriers. It has been found to be bad for plants and animals. In experimental subjects who were given heavy water, their kidneys were destroyed and their metabolism was upset. At high doses of water, the animals died. With a small volume (up to 25%), the animals gained weight and brought a good offspring, and the egg production increased in chickens.

The question of what happens if we completely get rid of deuterium is still open.

Comparison of properties of light and heavy water

The answer to the question about the difference between natural light and heavy liquid depends on the person to whom it was asked.

In terms of chemical properties, there is practically no difference between them. In each of them, sodium releases hydrogen in the same way, during electrolysis, both waters decompose in the same way, their chemical properties also coincide, because they have the same composition.

These liquids are different: their freezing is not the same, they also have different vapor densities and elasticity. Heavy and light water decompose during electrolysis at different rates.

From a biological point of view, the issue is rather complicated, and there is still work to be done.
