The additional general developmental program "French for Beginners" has the following cognitive aspects: communication-oriented, educational and educational. Communication-oriented cognitive aspect of this program is aimed at developing a minimum level of knowledge of the French language among students, teaching colloquial speech, which will allow them to communicate on basic topics and help in overcoming the so-called "language barrier", since in modern society knowledge of foreign languages makes a person more confident in itself and mobile, and also opens up wide prospects for it. Achievement educational aspect The programs are carried out in the context of the humanization and humanitarization of the educational process and means expanding the horizons of children, raising the level of their general culture and education, as well as the culture of thinking, communication and speech, which is especially important at an early age. Achievement educational aspect pursues the main goal of cultivating a sense of pride in the national culture and a benevolent attitude towards other world cultures. Through this program, the student will gain the primary foundation of knowledge, which is one of the components of further success in learning the language.

The personal development of a child can occur only in the process of communication and joint activities with adults and peers. At the same time, the child acquires minimal communication skills, he forms an idea of the French language as a means of communication and a way of knowing the world, and develops such personal qualities as communication skills and a desire to make contact with other people.

State standard in a foreign language implies the priority of a student-centered approach to the learning process, the development of a wide range of general educational and subject skills in students, mastery of methods of activity that form cognitive, communicative competence.

Since the program is designed for young children aged 5 to 8 years, teaching is conducted in game form and consolidated in conversations on the most common topics. Groups in which classes are held consist of 7-10 people, which gives the best result when mastering new material.

Basic goal teaching French at this stage is to instill interest and respect for the French language along with the personal development of the child by various means, taking into account his motives, interests and abilities. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks:

Formation of correct pronunciation skills: pronunciation of sounds in isolation, in separate words and phrases. Development of communication skills in French:

    Learn to establish contact with communication partners in game situations, understand and give simple instructions. Build French vocabulary. Develop French speaking skills: learn to name objects, describe them, answer questions and ask them. Develop visual listening skills.
Expanding the horizons of children, introducing them to the country of the language being studied. Children are given initial knowledge about the geography of France, they get acquainted with French folklore, with French children's literature, with the famous cultural monuments of France. Since acquaintance with the culture of the country of the language being studied is a means of enriching the spiritual world of the child, developing his ability to perceive the French language, the student's horizons expand, thinking and memory develop, and respect for other peoples is brought up. Raising the desire to learn French at school.

In the process of classes, the main attention is paid to phonetic, lexical materials, as well as the basics of grammar. Study material includes various types of work: reading texts and retelling them, talking on general topics that are part of the required minimum knowledge, listening, the ability to write a letter or describe the proposed drawing.

Each lesson consists of an explanation of phonetic and grammatical phenomena, reading exercises, followed by dialogues that reinforce the learned material, and grammatical constructions that serve as models for reproduction. The final stage of the work is texts of varying degrees of complexity, post-text questions and models of answers to them. The texts are borrowed from classical and contemporary French literature. They are informative and informative and have a communicative orientation.

In order to save time and facilitate understanding of the material at the initial stage of training, grammatical explanations are given in Russian.

Thus, the main content of the program is four main components that are closely related:

development of the child's language abilities (memory, speech hearing, probabilistic forecasting, attention, etc.), which are the basis for further learning French at school;

familiarization of the child with the language and culture of another people and the formation of a positive attitude towards them, as well as children's awareness of their native culture;

· educating the child's sense of self-awareness as a person belonging to a particular linguistic and cultural community;

The development of the mental, emotional, creative qualities of the child, his imagination, the ability to social interaction (the ability to play, work together, find and establish contact with a partner, adequately respond to his desires, statements, etc.), the joy of learning and curiosity.

Expected results

Maintaining interest in the French language and consolidating acquired skills are among the most important principles and objectives of this program. This program is based on consecutive tasks increasing complexity, including previous material.

Lessons are built around principle of dialogue, the student speaks French, when answering, he seeks to logically build his answer correctly. With the help of this program, the student masters the most frequently used grammatical forms and lexical constructions. Also applies here principle of individual-collective interaction, which means that it is necessary to maximize the individual abilities of each child through collective forms of education and by providing the child with as many opportunities for self-expression as possible within the framework of solving a common collective problem.

In the process of learning, children learn to coordinate their actions, communicate with each other, take into account the interests and capabilities of each other, that is, ultimately, establish real friendly relations in a team, learn to work in a team.

The phonetic material is selected in such a way that the constructions encountered are correctly mastered at the very initial stage of training, which makes it possible to give it a communicative orientation.

The lexical material includes the words of the main vocabulary fund and auxiliary words. Also in this area, the experience of the child himself, his individual abilities are taken into account. But new possibilities are added to this: there is a layering of the student's new knowledge and the development of his mental abilities.

Education is built taking into account the individual, age and psychological characteristics of each child. The principle of cooperation between the teacher and the children, as well as between the children themselves, is taken into account - all this creates conditions for the development of the child's personality, shaping him as a person with certain, already established principles and priorities.

Formation of phonetic skills

The learning process provides for the mastery of the articulatory base and intonations in sentences of various types. To do this, phonetic exercises are carried out in the form of an imitative game: sounds are worked out both in isolation and together, long and short vowels, interdental and whistling consonants, voiced and deaf, etc. are worked out. The formation of speech activity is carried out with the help of various exercises, poems, game situations, counting rhymes and reading texts. Various types of work, such as staging short scenes, reading poetry, dialogue communication, introduces into the educational process an element of children's competition among themselves and their desire for the best answer in the classroom.

Formation of lexical skills

New vocabulary is introduced through the teacher's speech, various audio recordings and new exercises. Unfamiliar words are repeated several times, transcription is written and exercises are given to consolidate the material covered. Also, small texts provided by the teacher are given at home for the purpose of memorizing them, for the development of oral speech and vocabulary of the student.

Formation of grammatical skills

Gradually, in the learning process, various grammatical constructions are given, which are most often used in texts, speaking and listening. The most simple tenses and their grammatical constructions are studied, including special cases of their use. The material covered is consolidated through various types of exercises, dialogues and tests, stimulating better consolidation of the material.

Features of the organization of classes

Each lesson is built as a holistic situation of interaction between the teacher and all students. Classes consist of a cognitive, training and colloquial-practical section. New material is given on the basis of what has already been covered, which gives the best result for repetition and consolidation of children's knowledge. The main principle of building classes is a game situation, didactic game, visibility and accessibility.

Each lesson consists of four main parts:

    the beginning, which includes a greeting in French and phonetic gymnastics, which helps to develop correct pronunciation skills (pronouncing sounds in isolation, in separate words, phrases), promotes the development of phonetic and phonemic hearing by learning poems and songs accessible to children, listening to audio materials and didactic games; physical education, during which children are given the opportunity to realize the need for movement; the main part, during which new lexical units and speech patterns are introduced, the previous material is consolidated and repeated; the end of the lesson, i.e. a summary of what has been covered and farewell in French.
