Ballo rating system kki hands. The best collectible card games

Over the centuries of human history and culture, cards have evolved from simple fool games to games requiring individual decks and complex multi-way combinations. Actually, it is about them that we will talk about collectible card games. In material form, they appeared, of course, much earlier than in digital form, and Magic: The Gathering, of course, stood out among them. However, now its digital version of Magic Duels is inferior in popularity to at least ten other CCGs. These ten games we will consider in this collection.

1. Gwent

How did this open beta game get to number one, you might ask. And you're right: it's a little unfair to all the other games in this collection. But there is an answer to your question. During the year that Gwent was in beta, it has changed more than the same Hearthstone during its entire existence INCLUDING beta. polish the balance; CD Projekt RED polish the game itself, its very concept.

The concept came naturally from The Witcher 3, where gwent was just a mini-game. Then it was interesting not for the gameplay, but rather for the atmosphere. Luckily, the studio was able to see the potential of gwent, and thanks to this, we have a real alternative to Hearthstone and the like. Tactical arrangement and rearrangement of cards in three rows instead of one, the almost complete absence of "random" (random effects), the disposal of a large part of the deck from the very beginning of the game (reduces dependence on "lucky entry") - Gwent is played completely differently than any other game of this list.

Not the last role in the success of Gwent was the accessibility of cards. The cost of card packs is the same as everywhere else, but daily quests give a much more stable influx of in-game currency. More importantly, creating cards from "dust" (a conditional resource) is much cheaper than in other TCGs. Compare: a set in Hearthstone and a set in Gwent give the same minimum of 40 "dust", but to create a "legendary" in Hearthstone, you need to open 40 such sets, and in Gwent - only 20. Comparison with all other games on the list will also be in favor " gvinta".

2. Hearthstone

What, Hearthstone is not in the first place in the top? Is it legal at all? Of course, because this is the author's selection! Yes, Hearthstone pioneered the online collectible card game market. Yes, the biggest Hearthstone tournaments are held. Yes, Hearthstone is the most streamed on Twitch (from the TCG, of course). Yes, add-ons are released every six months, but ...

Perhaps it can be argued that Hearthstone is becoming less and less accessible to new players. Even those who started with the beta, or at least the release, have accumulated for this time, although a decent, but still not a complete collection, and what can we say about new content in the form of adventures and add-ons. Of course, we are talking about players who adhere to f2p as a matter of principle. Every year it becomes harder and harder for them to “join” Hearthstone, because they simply do not have time to save up in-game currency for new cards. Judge for yourself: the purchase of even the most expensive set (300 cards) does not ensure the completeness of the collection.

Hearthstone, of course, is and will continue to be a "deceptively simple" and "incredibly entertaining" game. It's Blizzard, after all! It's just that Hearthstone's formula - gameplay, marketing, esports - is gradually losing ground to more daring projects in 2017. One of them will now be discussed.

3 Magic: The Gathering Arena

A new computer version of one of the most popular CCGs in the world. Since September 27, 2018, Arena, which has nothing to do with previous adaptations of Magic: The Gathering for PC, is in open beta status. So now anyone can try out all its advantages, and completely free of charge.

In the future, it is planned to turn Magic: The Gathering Arena into a multi-platform game with support for mobile devices. Also, Wizards of the Coast (the company that owns the rights to this TCG and developed all of its digital adaptations) has expressed its firm intention to make Magic: The Gathering Arena the leading esports discipline among TCGs and announced a number of competitions for 2019 with a total prize pool of $10 million.

4. The Elder Scrolls Legends

There are many reasons for this game to be in third place, but, admittedly, the first of these reasons is the franchise. The atmosphere of The Elder Scrolls makes any game more interesting, worthy of attention, be it a shooter, even a "", even a social simulator (however, with a slight stretch, Skyrim fits all three). So we decided to make "cartons".

The main innovation of The Elder Scrolls Legends is the field, divided into two parts, in which cards can be played separately. One part is normal, in the second the units fall into the shadow, that is, during one turn they cannot be beaten. This alone provides an opportunity for tactical maneuvers, but creatures can still be moved.

Although the success of The Elder Scrolls Legends is modest, the game will remain in the strong "middle" market until the franchise's fans are transferred. And they won’t go anywhere… unless, of course, they constantly throw up new content. Bethesda, as expected, handles it.

5. Fairy

Faeria is the only game on this list, and perhaps even among all modern CCGs, in which you need to collect resources yourself. Well, there's a little bit each turn, but it's usually not enough, forcing players to play spells and creatures to drain precious "mana" from special wells. No freebie!

Another interesting feature of Faeria is that the playing field is empty at the start of a match. You can't put anything on it and you can't walk on it. However, each turn, each player can fill two cells of the field with ordinary land or one with special (forest, lake, mountains, sand). The number and location of these lands determines exactly where and how strong creatures can be placed. In this aspect, Faeria is also the only one, there is no such thing in any other TCG! So what prevented her from being elevated to the top 3 or even to the first place?

Perhaps the modesty of design. Creatures and animations look very mediocre, almost nothing is voiced (only spells), premium cards also look a little more attractive than ordinary ones. We really hope that the Faeria developers are actively working on this, because otherwise the game can quickly fade against the backdrop of AAA projects. But she deserves to share a pedestal with them!

6. Hand of the Gods

This tactical TCG was originally known as SMITE Tactics, but Hi-Rez Studios decided that the game should develop with its own name and its own path. Yes, all the characters are from SMITE, but their roles in the card game are completely different. Now the strongest of them, the rulers of their pantheons, do not rush across the battlefield, but rise above it, controlling the troops and casting powerful spells.

Compared to other tactical CCGs on this list, it is Hand of the Gods that makes the strongest impression of "Heroes of Might and Magic". It is in combat, of course, although there is nothing but combat there yet: the developers are still riveting the PvE campaign. In general, while the players do not have much choice but to win and collect new cards, and other activities will appear later. Well, Hand of the Gods is officially in the OBT, and it's only in early access, so for now, it's forgivable.

7 Star Crusade

A solid mid-ranger both in this top and in the TCG market, Star Crusade is an interesting case to consider, since it is a project of our compatriots. The guys still manage to hold positions using the classic formula with minor changes. The "classic formula" is a gradual increase in resources for playing cards, starting from 0 and ending with 10, and a standard, divided into two parts of the field. Minor changes are the optional deck size (25-40 cards), additional "energy" resource (other than "mana"), and character modules (additional abilities that require either "mana" or "energy").

Star Crusade captivates with its setting: it is not a terry fantasy or a fashionable combination of magic and technology, but pure science fiction. The impressive influence of Starcraft is felt: the conditional "Terrans", "Zerg" and "Protoss" are easily recognized. , soldiers, cruisers, blasters are included. Speaking of blasters, even if the character is equipped with them, he still "hits" and does not shoot. That, and the slightly lazy art and animation, take the edge off the atmosphere, but Star Crusade continues to be unique in terms of setting.

8. Shardbound

Arguably one of the most ambitious games on this list, Shardbound is the first TCG to feature deep Twitch integration. For example, if a player watches someone's stream, an area appears on his world map, as if representing this streamer, and special in-game quests are opened for him. Playing with a streamer deck, giving a streamer your own deck, teaming up with a streamer - all this brings additional rewards and fun.

The gameplay itself also deserves interest, since it has a strong tactical element: the battlefields are different, they have obstacles and landscape differences (highlands and lowlands), the location of units is no less important than their characteristics. There are, however, fewer factions than we would like - six, when, on average, modern online games in the TCG genre have seven. There are also not very many cards yet, since there have not been any major updates yet.

However, there is a rather tangible snag: "legendaries" (conditionally the best cards). First, they are not particularly interesting in their effects; most often they are just creatures with huge stats for their cost. Secondly, getting them is quite difficult in the usual way (they cost a lot of resources), but quite easy for donation. Considering that there is no limit on their number, a donator can simply saturate his deck with "imbalance" cards, without thinking about tactics, and take opponents in number. If the developers don't figure out what to do about it, Shardbound, like Chronicle: RuneScape Legends, will quickly be forgotten.

9. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links

A free-to-play collectible card game based on the famous Yu-Gi-Oh! On PC, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links came from mobile platforms and, it should be noted, successfully fit into a rather narrow niche genre, held by a couple of large and very serious projects.

What bribes Duel Links players? Firstly, a colorful setting, well known to fans of manga and anime. Secondly, an unlimited number of available tactics and, probably, the largest base of cards, which is regularly updated. Thirdly, the possibility of a full-fledged game without financial investments. Fourthly, the presence of Russian localization, albeit not without some flaws. I also want to remember about regular events and updates, various modes and the availability of training for beginners.

10.Shadowverse

11. Eternal

Let's start with a recent entry, Eternal, which is currently in open beta (and in early access on Steam). As it is now fashionable, the setting of the game combines magic and technology: dragons and sorcerers coexist with cars and shooters. However, there are still more of the former, and even all types of creatures are purely fantasy, so the addition of "technologies" is nothing more than a tribute to fashion.

As for the types, these are fire, order, time, elements (as if fire is not an element) and shadow, plus combined and neutral cards. Well, more interesting than just elements, races or classes, it is somewhat reminiscent of "Heroes of Might and Magic" from the fourth to the seventh parts. By the way, the developers showed resourcefulness not only in this: every time a new TCG comes out, players wonder what the effects of the cards will be called (when playing, destroying, etc.). So far, they seem to be getting out, but the moment when you just have to repeat yourself is still inevitable.

Eternal is called one of the easiest CCGs to learn; not in the sense that it is primitive, but in the sense that it is easy to collect new cards. In other words, less dependence on donations. Well, young “cartons” (as enthusiasts call this genre) are often attracted by this, and then tighten the conditions. For Eternal, we all have yet to watch.

12 Artifact

13. HEX: Shards of Fate

In this card game, two genres are mixed - in fact, TCG and online RPG: you have to explore the world and upgrade your champion, as well as participate in battles using a deck of more than 1000 cards. All this is complemented by an impressive set of activities, including story missions and, as well as a huge number of stones and artifacts that allow you to improve maps.

And that's not all: the developers have added a trading system so that you can discard unnecessary cards and buy the ones you need, and also launched tournaments in which you can boast of perfectly built decks and win valuable prizes. However, the game also has drawbacks, such as secondary in relation to the same M: TG and low online.

14. Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Champions

KKI on "Wah"? Give me two! Still, the opportunity to play in the fantasy universe of Warhammer, choosing one of the four factions and collecting a deck of forty cards, is worth a lot. But not in our case: the game is distributed free of charge, allowing everyone to bring death and destruction to the heads of enemies.

Understanding Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Champions is not easy; only the most stubborn fan of the setting can master all the intricacies of the gameplay. Nevertheless, the project is able to captivate - and due to the visual style, and thanks to the deep tactical gameplay. So, if you are looking for something brutal and do not shy away from difficulties, then just this game will probably be your best entertainment for the coming weeks and months.

15. Infinity Wars

This game uses a rather unusual concept: the participants in the match do not move in turn, but simultaneously (however, this depends on the initiative indicator of the players), which makes you think faster and predict the actions of your opponent. Add to this over eight hundred cards and a nice design, and you have a pretty good CCG.

Which, in general, Infinity Wars is, but only the potential of the game spoils the lack of attention from the developers and, consequently, a small online. Therefore, there is a good chance that soon this project will be in our selection of Chronicle: RuneScape Legends.

No matter how controversial the distribution in places, one thing pleases - the collectible card game is developing as a genre. At the same time, the setting remains almost unchanged: of all the CCGs, online games in the fantasy world prevail. It is also worth noting that not all are available in Russian, and KKI is such a genre that without knowledge of the language “no play”.

The emergence of new projects is still on the decline, unsuccessful ones have been weeded out, and some of the workers can withstand competition. But, despite all this, the remaining games show a variety of gameplay and marketing models (yes, they are all available for free, but cards accumulate in different ways). And who knows - on any given day, out of nowhere, some studio could release a TCG that will move the giants off their pedestals. But if it does, it will end up in the selection for another year.

Excluded from selection

Chronicle: RuneScape Legends

The game was closed.

Even the eighth place in the rating can be considered honorable for this game, because, alas, Chronicle: Runescape Legends is slowly dying. This CCI online now has a good if a couple of dozen people. However, the year that it has been actively developing cannot be ignored. This TCG introduced players to a completely new type of gameplay: most of the cards are creatures that you need not to set against the enemy, but to defeat yourself in order to gain resources and strength. Placing creatures, as well as spells and items, in the right order is extremely important to win, meaning CRL is not only a card game, but also a tactical one.

However, for some reason, this extraordinarily interesting and deep CCG fell out of favor as quickly as it gained it. You can talk about the reasons for a long time: not the most famous game universe (characters and setting from Runescape), not the most familiar gameplay (albeit balanced), not the most successful stylistic choices. The latter is particularly interesting, meaning there is little difference between common and legendary cards in terms of art and animation. On the one hand, players expect uniqueness from the legendary cards, but on the other hand, their unpretentious appearance emphasized that their role is equal to other cards, that one “legendary” cannot win the match.

Most likely, saving Chronicle: Runescape Legends is already useless. Although it is still possible to donate, it is not recommended to do this, because the game has not received any updates for a year. At best, they will decide to restart it, and we hope so, because we don’t want to lose such an interesting CCI at all.

To date, the main task facing the country's universities is to improve the quality of education. One of the key areas in its solution is the need to move to new standards. In accordance with them, a clear ratio of the number of hours for independent and classroom work is established. This, in turn, required a revision and the creation of new forms of control. One of the innovations was the point-rating system for assessing students' knowledge. Let's consider it in more detail.

Purpose

The essence of the point-rating system is to determine the success and quality of mastering the discipline through certain indicators. The labor intensity of a particular subject and the entire program as a whole is measured in credit units. The rating is a certain numerical value, which is expressed in a multi-point system. It integrally characterizes the progress of students and their participation in research work within a particular discipline. The point-rating system is considered as the most important part of the quality control of the educational work of the Institute.

Advantages

Significance for educators

  1. Plan in detail the educational process in a particular discipline and stimulate the constant activity of students.
  2. Timely adjust the program in accordance with the results of control measures.
  3. Objectively determine the final grades in the disciplines, taking into account systematic activities.
  4. Provide gradation of indicators in comparison with traditional forms of control.

Significance for learners

Selection of criteria

  1. Implementation of the program in terms of practical, lecture, laboratory classes.
  2. Performance of extracurricular and classroom written and other works.

The timing and number of control activities, as well as the number of points allocated for each of them, are set by the lead teacher. The teacher responsible for the implementation of control must inform the students about the criteria for their certification at the first lesson.

Structure

The point-rating system involves the calculation of the results obtained by the student for all types of educational activities. In particular, attendance at lectures, writing tests, performing typical calculations, etc. are taken into account. For example, the overall result at the Department of Chemistry can be made up of the following indicators:

Additional elements

The point-rating system provides for the introduction of fines and rewards for students. Teachers inform about these additional elements at the first lesson. Penalties are provided for violations of the requirements for the preparation and execution of abstracts, untimely submitted standard calculations, laboratory work, etc. At the end of the course, the teacher can reward students by adding additional points to the number of points scored.

Transfer to academic marks

It is carried out on a special scale. It may include the following limits:

Another variant

The total number of points also depends on the level of labor intensity of the discipline (on the size of the loan). The point-rating system can be represented in the following form:

Point-rating system: pros and cons

The positive aspects of this form of control are obvious. First of all, active presence at seminars, participation in conferences will not go unnoticed. For this activity, the student will be awarded points. In addition, a student who scores a certain number of points will be taken into account, can receive an automatic credit in the discipline. Attendance at the lectures themselves will also be taken into account. The disadvantages of the point-rating system are as follows:

Conclusion

The key place in the point-rating system is control. It provides for end-to-end certification in all disciplines within the curriculum. As a result, the student is assigned a rating score, which, in turn, depends on the degree of preparedness. The advantage of using this form of control is to ensure its information transparency and openness. This allows students to compare their results with those of their peers. Monitoring and evaluation of educational achievements acts as the most important element of the educational process. They must be carried out systematically throughout the semester and throughout the year. To do this, the ratings of students in the group and on the course in specific disciplines are formed, intra-semester and final indicators for a certain period are displayed.

About the university

The history of our educational institution dates back to August 1912. On these warm summer days, the Second All-Russian Cooperative Congress, held in Kyiv, decided to establish a cooperative institute.
The first step towards the creation of the institute was the opening at the Moscow People's University. A.L. Shanyavsky cooperative school. Well-known cooperative practitioners and outstanding scientists taught here - M.I. Tugan-Baranovsky, A.F. Fortunatov, A.V. Chayanov and others. Over the four years of its operation, the school has trained more than 1,000 specialists.
The cooperative school paved the way for the establishment of the cooperative institute. On September 30, 1918, the All-Russian Cooperative Institute was opened in Moscow - an educational and scientific center for all types of cooperation in the country. The first composition of the Academic Council of the young university was headed by S.N. Prokopovich, V.I. was elected dean. Anisimov.
Already in the first academic year, 66 people became students of the institute, and a year later their number doubled. Unfortunately, the university managed to make only one graduation of specialists.
Meanwhile, consumer cooperation organizations experienced an acute shortage of qualified personnel. Therefore, in 1930, the university was revived on the basis of the Faculty of Consumer Cooperatives of the Moscow Industrial and Economic Institute, and in 1935 it became known as the Moscow Institute of Soviet Cooperative Trade (MISKT). At first, he occupied small areas in Moscow in buildings on Novaya Basmannaya and Maroseyka, and soon Tsentrosoyuz built an entire institute complex on Volokolamskoye Highway, 21/25 at the expense of consumer cooperation. From 1941 to 1944 the institute was evacuated to Kazakhstan. In the early 1950s, MISCT was merged with the Moscow Institute of National Economy named after G.V. Plekhanov.
The second time, thanks to the efforts of the Central Union of the USSR, the university was restored in 1959. Since then, the Moscow Cooperative Institute has settled in the city of Mytishchi, Moscow Region. Its educational and material base has been recreated, a qualified teaching staff has been formed, which trains highly qualified specialists for consumer cooperation and other sectors of the economy.
In 1987, on the basis of a decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the Moscow Cooperative Institute became an educational and scientific complex (UNK) of consumer cooperation, including a university, the All-Union Research Institute of Consumer Cooperation and the Institute for Advanced Studies. In 1991 UNK came under the jurisdiction of the Central Union of the Russian Federation.
In 1992, the status of the institute changed - it was reorganized into the Moscow University of Consumer Cooperatives; in 2000 - it was renamed into the educational institution "Moscow University of Consumer Cooperation", in 2004 - into the educational institution of higher professional education of the Central Union of the Russian Federation "Moscow University of Consumer Cooperation".
In 2006, by the Decree of the Board of the Central Union of the Russian Federation of January 11, 2006 No. 1-P, the University was transformed into an autonomous non-profit organization of higher professional education of the Central Union of the Russian Federation "Russian University of Cooperation".
The Russian University of Cooperation today is the main educational and scientific center of the system of cooperative education in Russia. Today it is the largest network university in Russia. More than 100 thousand students study in it and its 22 branches. Currently, branches of the Russian University of Cooperation successfully operate in the following cities of Russia: Arzamas, Bryansk, Vladimir, Volgograd, Ivanovo, Izhevsk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Murmansk, Michurinsk, Veliky Novgorod, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Saransk, Saratov, Smolensk, Syktyvkar , Ufa, Khabarovsk, Khimki, Moscow region, Cheboksary. In the structure of the University there are also educational institutions of secondary and primary vocational education.
In accordance with the rating of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the University has been among the top ten leading economic universities in Russia over the past five years.
The University has an effective system of continuous education, which includes pre-university education, primary, secondary and higher professional education, postgraduate and additional professional education - advanced training and retraining of specialists, postgraduate and doctoral studies, defense of candidate and doctoral dissertations.
In 1980, the Moscow Cooperative Institute of the Tsentrosoyuz was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples for successful international activities and merits in the training of highly qualified specialists for the consumer cooperation system of the USSR. Evidence of the international recognition of the University are the awards of the International Quality Convention: "International Golden Quality Mark" (2002, London) and "International Platinum Quality Mark" (2003, Paris).
During its 95 years of activity, the University has trained over 90,000 highly qualified specialists for the Russian economy, incl. consumer cooperation systems. The geography of labor activity of the University graduates is extensive and covers not only the regions of the Russian Federation, but also the countries of near and far abroad. During the period of its activity, the University has trained several thousand graduates from 72 countries of the world. They successfully work at enterprises and organizations in various sectors of the economy: industry, trade and public catering, procurement, foreign economic activity, in state authorities and administration, carry out pedagogical activities in educational institutions of primary, secondary and higher professional education.
The Russian University of Cooperation operates on the basis of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, the Law "On Education", the Federal Law of the Russian Federation "On Higher and Postgraduate Professional Education", resolutions, orders and other regulations of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Central Union of the Russian Federation, the Charter of the ANO VPO of the Central Union of the Russian Federation "Russian University of Cooperation ". The university is located on the street. V. Voloshina in the city of Mytishchi, Moscow Region.

The higher cooperative educational institution of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2007 celebrated its 20th anniversary. October 13, 1987 The Central Union of the USSR issued Decree No. 366, which indicated that it should be recognized as necessary to open a branch of the Moscow Cooperative Institute in Kazan on the basis of the Belgorod Cooperative Institute. This event has become one of the most important in the development of the higher cooperative school of the Republic of Tatarstan. Today the Kazan Cooperative Institute of the Russian University of Cooperation is a promising sectoral university of the republic. Training at the institute is carried out taking into account the fact that our graduates will be able to subsequently apply their knowledge in cooperative organizations, in the field of economic activity in our country or abroad. Today, a strong teaching staff has been formed at the Kazan Cooperative Institute. Professors, associate professors, doctors and candidates of sciences with a solid work experience in universities work at 5 departments. Each new decade in the history of the institute is different from the previous one. In the late 80s, we took the first steps, the first students appeared. During the difficult period at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s, teachers and staff made every effort to ensure that the Kazan Cooperative Institute not only survived, but also became an institution with new perspectives. The next decade was marked by important processes in the life of the cooperative school in Russia: in connection with the restructuring of the educational system, the institute became an integral part of the Russian University of Cooperation of the Central Union of the Russian Federation. The reform has made the learning process more modern, innovative, meeting the requirements of today's realities. Twenty years is the time of creative maturity of the staff of the Kazan Cooperative Institute. I am confident that our institute will increase its contribution to the implementation of the Concept for the Development of Consumer Cooperation in Russia, put forward by the Central Union of the Russian Federation.

Since the 2008-2009 academic year, our university has introduced a point-rating system for assessing and recording progress, which somewhat changed the usual ideas of students about studying. Surely everyone knows the saying: “Students live happily from session to session ...”, then in 2-3 days they learn the subject (with varying degrees of success), pass it and safely forget it. Not everyone, of course, learns this way, but no one will deny that such a practice exists. And one more thing: everyone knows very well that the traditional sessional exam is in many ways a lottery: you can prepare from time to time during the semester, get a “good” ticket on the exam and get “excellent”. Or, on the contrary, you can work all the semester, prepare, go to lectures, read textbooks, but you won’t be lucky on the exam. And if the teacher is in a bad mood on the day of the exam, then complaints about bias, bias, etc. are inevitable. And all because the usual traditional system almost does not take into account what is called the student's current academic work.

In the point-rating system, these shortcomings are compensated. For certain types of work performed by students throughout the semester, points are given, a certain number of points are awarded for an exam or a test, then all these points are summed up, and the final rating score for the subject is obtained. This score translates into the traditional grading system.

The final grade in the discipline, which is entered in the test-examination record, the record book and, already at the end of the training, in the diploma supplement, reflects not only the results of passing the exam or test, but also the results of academic work throughout the semester;

In order to objectively evaluate the results of the student's work, a system of control activities (control points) of various form and content (control points) is introduced into the educational process, each of which is evaluated by a certain number of points (as a rule, control points are colloquia, testing, etc., for successful completion which the student is not given grades, as before, but points are awarded);

The final control (test / exam) is part of the overall assessment, and the scores for it are part of the final rating, which is accumulated during the study of the discipline.

ATTENTION: an important condition for the point-rating system is the timely execution of the established types of work. If the control point in the discipline is missed for no good reason or is not passed the first time, then when it is retaken, even if the student answered well, part of the points is removed.

Thus, in the process of studying the discipline, points are accumulated, a rating is formed, which ultimately shows the student's progress.

The normative rating is the maximum possible amount of points that a student can score during the period of mastering the discipline. The normative rating of the discipline depends on the duration of the discipline and is 50 points if the discipline is studied in one semester, 100 points - if the discipline is studied in two semesters, 150 points - if the discipline is studied in three semesters, etc. Each type of control also has its own normative rating, for example, for current and intermediate control - 30% of the normative rating of the discipline, for final control (tests and exams) - 40%;

The passing rating is the minimum score that a student will be considered certified in the discipline. The passing rating for a discipline is more than 50% of the normative rating, for example, 25.1 points for a discipline with a normative rating of 50 points; 50.1 points - for a 100-point discipline; 75.1 points - for a 150-point discipline, etc. If a student scores less than a passing rating at the end of the training, the discipline is considered not mastered;

The threshold rating is the minimum actual rating of the semester control, by typing which the student is allowed to the final control. The threshold rating of the discipline is more than 50% of the normative rating of the semester control;

First, the objectivity of the assessment of student achievements in studies is increased. As already mentioned, objectivity - the main requirement for evaluation - is not implemented very well in the traditional system. In the points-rating system, the exam ceases to be the “last sentence”, because it will only add points to those scored during the semester.

Secondly, the point-rating system allows you to more accurately assess the quality of study. Everyone knows that the three of three are different, as the teachers say, “we write three, two in the mind.” And in the point-rating system, you can immediately see who is worth what. For example, such a case is possible: for all current and milestone control points, the highest scores were obtained, and for the exam (you never know) - the average. In this case, according to the total score, you can still get a score that allows you to put a well-deserved five in your grade book (according to the traditional rating scale).

Thirdly, this system removes the problem of "session stress", since if at the end of the course the student receives a significant amount of points, he can be exempted from passing the exam or credit.

And, finally, the quality of preparation for training sessions will certainly increase with the introduction of a point-rating system, which is important for occupying a worthy place in the labor market in the future.

current control;

Midterm control (colloquia, testing, term papers, etc.);

Final control (semester credit and/or exam).

The recommended amount of the rating is: for the current control - 30% of the normative rating of the discipline, for foreign control - 30% of the normative rating of the discipline and for the final control - 40% of the normative rating of the discipline.

Current control is carried out during the semester for disciplines that have practical classes and/or seminars, laboratory work in accordance with the curriculum. It allows you to evaluate academic progress throughout the semester. Its forms can be different: an oral survey, solving situational problems, performing an essay on a given topic, etc.

Midterm control is usually carried out 2-3 times during the semester in accordance with the working curriculum of the discipline. Each of the milestone control events is a "micro-examination" on the material of one or more sections and is carried out in order to determine the degree of assimilation of the material of the relevant sections of the discipline. The type of boundary control is determined by the department. The most popular forms of boundary control are colloquia, tests, testing.

The final control is an exam and / or credit set by the curriculum. They are accepted, as a rule, in the traditional form.

How many points and for what is exhibited? The ratio of grades by types of control measures within the framework of the study of a particular discipline is established by the department when developing a schedule for studying the discipline.

At the beginning of the semester, the teacher conducting classes in the discipline that students are starting to study should explain its rating structure, how many points can be obtained for a particular work or stage of control, bring to the attention of the study group information about the passing rating, terms, forms and maximum scores of control measures in the discipline, as well as the terms and conditions of their retakes in the current semester.

After the students complete the current control task or pass the milestone test, the teacher evaluates the work and enters this assessment into the rating sheet (it supplements the academic record, but does not replace it!). If the student's answer is unsatisfactory at the control point, he refuses to answer, or simply does not appear at the control event, 0 points are assigned to the rating sheet.

To be admitted to passing a test/exam in a discipline, the following conditions must be met:

The volume of classroom studies (including attendance at lectures) provided for by the curriculum must be completed.

In order to be admitted to the session, the actual semester rating for each discipline studied in the semester must be more than 50% of its normative semester rating. In this case, the student receives in the record book "completed" in the disciplines studied.

If the discipline rating gained in the semester is 50% or less than 50% of its normative semester rating, but more than 15% of the normative rating of semester control, the student can "gain" the missing number of points on retakes of control events. We remind you that during retakes, even with a brilliant answer, it is impossible to get the maximum score set for this control point, due to the fact that part of the points, as a rule, is withdrawn by the department (with the exception of missing classes due to a valid illness). Therefore, the development of educational material must be approached thoroughly in order to pass the control points the first time.

If a student scores a low rating in the semester (15% or less than 15% of the normative semester rating of the discipline) due to regular missed checkpoints or systematic poor progress, he is not allowed to retake the checkpoints, is considered not to have mastered the discipline and is expelled from the university.

And one more condition: a high rating of a student based on the results of control events does not release him from the obligation to attend lectures, seminars and practical classes, which, in case of omission, must be worked out in the usual way (not to be confused with retaking control events!).

After the credit/exam, points for it are entered into the rating and examination sheets and a certain amount is obtained, which is the final actual rating for the discipline. It is expressed in points (say, from 28 to 50). Unfortunately, in the student's transcripts and the Diploma Supplement, a score must be given according to the traditional scale adopted in Russia: excellent-good-satisfactory-unsatisfactory. Therefore, after the points are entered into the rating list, the rating is recalculated into a rating according to the traditional scale in accordance with the scheme below:

(in % of the maximum score for the discipline)

85.1 - 100% Excellent

65.1 - 85% Good

50.1 - 65% Satisfactory

0% Unsatisfactory

The point-rating system for assessing progress is based on regular work throughout the semester and on the teacher's systematic monitoring of the level of students' educational achievements. This means the following - in order to have a good score, all tasks must be completed not only well, but also on time. In the schedule of control events, which students get acquainted with at the beginning of the semester, the dates for passing the control points are indicated. Remember: time is also one of the evaluation criteria!

The point-rating system allows you to objectively control all the educational activities of students, stimulates their cognitive activity and helps to plan study time. In addition, the point-rating system will help develop democracy, initiative and healthy rivalry in studies.

Deans at the end of each semester will compile and place on their stands and on the university website summary rating lists, so that everyone can see what position each student of the faculty takes. Maybe it doesn’t matter to someone, but being a leader and occupying the highest step in the ranking is always prestigious.
