FORMATION OF THE BASICS OF HLS IN CHILDREN WITH DIFFICULTY

Prepared by the teacher: S.V. Chirkov

Kosolapovo 2011

Preserving and strengthening the health of children is one of the main strategic tasks of the country. It is regulated and provided by such legal documents as the Law of the Russian Federation “On Education” (Article 51), “On the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare of the Population”, as well as the Decrees of the President of Russia “On Urgent Measures to Ensure the Health of the Population of the Russian Federation”, “ On the approval of the main directions of the state social policy to improve the situation of children in the Russian Federation, etc.

It is well known that human health is 20% dependent on hereditary factors, 20% on the natural environment, 7–10% on the level of healthcare, and 50% on a person’s lifestyle.

In this regard, the problem of maintaining health and cultivating a culture of a healthy lifestyle in children is extremely relevant.

Human health is a very complex phenomenon of universal and individual existence. Today there is no doubt that it is complex, because it depends on the interaction of many complex factors of the physical and mental, social and individual order, and often of a philosophical nature.

Health is "a dynamic state (process) of the preservation and development of biological, physiological and mental functions, optimal working capacity and social activity with a maximum life expectancy" .

Health represents a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or developmental defects.
Lifestyle - a set of specific forms of life of people in all spheres of public life.

A healthy lifestyle is a way and organization of the physical, social and spiritual life of people, ensuring their effective development, performance and active longevity. This is a socially and historically defined idea of health, as well as the means and methods of its integration into practical life activities.

Health promotion is a system of individual and social activities aimed at improving the healthy lifestyle of a person and society.

Health is defined as the normal state of the body in which all its organs function properly. With the development of society and various sciences, this concept was filled with new content, and the definition of "healthy" began to be correlated with a person's lifestyle, his spiritual development and mental state.

A new definition was formulated by the World Health Organization: "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease."

Currently, the following definitions of the concept of "human health" are used in the system of human sciences:

Harmonious unity of biological and social qualities determined by congenital and acquired biological and social phenomena (Yu.P. Lisitsyn);

The process of preserving and developing its biological, physiological and psychological capabilities, optimal social activity with a maximum life expectancy (V.P. Kaznacheev);

As the ability of the human body to adapt to changes in the environment, interacting with it freely, based on the biological, mental and social essence of a person (P.M. Baevsky, P. Mikhailov, M. Popov);

A holistic multidimensional dynamic state (including its positive and negative indicators) that develops in the process of realizing the genetic potential in a specific social and ecological environment and allows a person to carry out his biological and social functions to varying degrees (R.I. Aizman, V.P. Kaznacheev , A.G. Shchedrin).

Returning to the definition of the concept of "healthy lifestyle", we can single out the most complete definitions of this concept:

1. A healthy lifestyle is a system of views that develops in the process of life under the influence of various factors on the problem of health as a concrete expression of a person's ability to achieve any goal he sets;

2. A healthy lifestyle is a person's way of organizing the production, household and cultural aspects of life, which allows one to realize one's creative potential to one degree or another;

3. A healthy lifestyle is a socially and historically defined idea of health, as well as the means and methods of its integration into practical life.

4. Healthy lifestyle - typical forms and methods of daily human life, which strengthen and improve the reserve capacity of the body, thereby ensuring the successful performance of their social and professional functions, regardless of gender, economic and socio-psychological situations.

It is possible to single out the general tasks of preserving the health of schoolchildren, characteristic of all programs used for educational institutions:

1. Teach children to determine their state and feelings.

2. Form an active life position.

3. Form ideas about your body, body.

4. Learn to strengthen and maintain your health.

5. Understand the need and role of movements in physical development.

6. Teach safety rules when performing physical exercises and various activities.

7. Be able to provide basic assistance for injuries.

8. To form ideas about what is useful and what is harmful to the body.

Thus, it is necessary to constantly work on the development of self-determination of younger students, one of its most important components is the preservation and strengthening of physical, mental, moral and social health.

1.2. Features of the formation of schoolchildren's needs for a healthy lifestyle

It is known that the health crisis of children, adolescents and youth in Russia threatens national security, economic and social development, and the country's defense capability. The scale and consequences of the violation of the health of new generations of the population are enormous. These problems lie in the sphere of vital interests of society, family and individual.

A healthy lifestyle (HLS) is the basis for disease prevention and health promotion for children and adolescents. The modern concept of a healthy lifestyle defines it as a constant implementation of hygienic rules for strengthening and maintaining individual and public health, conscious of its need.

For schoolchildren, the main components of a healthy lifestyle are rational nutrition, physical activity, restorative and anti-stress activities, good rest, and high medical activity. In today's difficult socio-economic conditions, the absence of these elements in the behavior of a significant part of schoolchildren is a risk factor for the occurrence of diseases.

Taking into account the state of health of school-age children, in recent years the country has significantly intensified work on the creation of a health-saving system of educational institutions aimed at developing healthy lifestyle skills in children.

The learning aspect of this system includes:

Mastering curricula on a healthy lifestyle;

Development of manuals for teachers and students;

Creation of a methodical library for teachers of different categories on the problems of a healthy lifestyle;

Training teachers of general education schools in active methods of developing healthy lifestyle skills, etc.

The significant deterioration in the health of the population of Russia, especially children, observed in recent years, has become a nationwide problem. Systematic education of the younger generation in the field of health and a healthy lifestyle will help to solve it. Modern views on this problem show that the health of each person, first of all, depends on the efforts that he makes to improve his health, and no doctors, no medicines will help if the person himself violates the norms of a healthy lifestyle (HLS).

It is known that healthy habits are formed from a very young age. Therefore, the role and importance of the family, family education in this process can hardly be overestimated. Every day, day after day, parents need to quietly and steadily educate their child so that he realizes the need to improve health and learns this art. To successfully cope with this task, parents must have a certain theoretical and practical training in these matters. Science offers them the following principles on which to build a healthy lifestyle for children:

1. System approach.

Man is a complex system. It is impossible to keep the body healthy if you do not improve the emotional-volitional sphere, if you do not work with the morality of the child.

A successful solution to the problems of educating a healthy lifestyle is possible only by combining the educational efforts of the school and parents.

2. Activity approach.

A culture in the field of health and a healthy lifestyle is mastered by children in the process of joint activities with their parents. It is necessary not to direct children to the path of health, but to lead them along this path.

3. The principle of "Do no harm"!

Provides for the use of only safe methods of healing, scientifically recognized and tested by thousands of years of human experience and officially recognized.

4. The principle of humanism.

In education in the field of health and healthy lifestyle, the inherent value of the child's personality is recognized. The moral guidelines of education are universal values.

The priority direction of education in the field of health should be the formation of the moral qualities of the child, which are the foundation of health. To do this, it is necessary to develop in him kindness, friendliness, endurance, determination, courage, an optimistic attitude towards life, a sense of the joy of existence, the ability to feel happy, believe in one's own strengths and trust the world.

For the formation of these qualities, spiritual harmony, adequate positive self-esteem are necessary, which arise if the child is free from feelings of anxiety and fear, lives with confidence in his security and safety. It is important that as each child masters the culture of health preservation, feelings of tenderness and love for himself, a mood of special joy from understanding his uniqueness, originality, the boundlessness of his creative possibilities, a sense of trust in the world and people are formed.

When organizing health education, remember:

If a child is often encouraged - he learns self-confidence,

If a child lives with a sense of security, he learns to believe

If a child manages to achieve what he wants, he learns hope,

If a child lives in an atmosphere of friendship and feels needed, he learns to find love in this world.

It is equally important for maintaining health to develop in your child the ability to consider himself and his condition from the outside, to understand his feelings and the reasons for their occurrence. Self-observation and self-analysis form the desire to improve themselves, allow the child to see and develop their personal capabilities, increase their intellectual potential.

It is necessary to form in the child a moral attitude towards their health, which is expressed in the desire and need to be healthy, to lead a healthy lifestyle. He must realize that health is the most important value for a person, the main condition for achieving any life goal, and everyone is responsible for maintaining and strengthening their health. In order to motivate him for health behavior, it is necessary to interest him, create positive emotions when mastering knowledge, let him feel the pleasure of healing methods, use positive examples from the surrounding life, and the personal example of parents.

Physical culture is a powerful source of healthy lifestyle formation in children. The training strategy proceeds from the fact that the pleasure of physical activity develops into a habit, and from it into a need.

An important task that you must solve when educating in the field of health and healthy lifestyles is to form the basics of personal hygiene: mastering body care skills, self-massage techniques, hardening methods, etc. It is equally important that the child masters the skills of psychoprophylaxis, self-regulation and activation reserve capacity of your body. To do this, it is necessary to develop and improve the functions of analyzer systems (hearing, vision, tactile sense, etc.), to teach the skills of voluntary control over breathing, muscle tone, imagination, to promote the formation of an “internal observer” in the child’s mind (inner self), to form the ability to express their feelings with the help of words, facial expressions, gestures, etc. Mastering this knowledge and skills, the child learns to control his emotions and mental activity. This improves psychological well-being at school, contributes to more successful learning.

Permyakova E.V., Gaponenkova T.S. Formation of a healthy lifestyle culture among preschool children with disabilities in an orphanage // Sovushka. 2015. N1..2015.n1.00014.html (date of access: 01.02.2020).

Health- one of the main values in human life and occupies the highest level in the hierarchy of human needs. It should be noted that the realization of the intellectual, moral, spiritual, physical and reproductive potential is possible only in a healthy society. The concept of "health" has many definitions. The most meaningful, in our opinion, is the definition given by the World Health Organization:

"Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."

The culture of a healthy lifestyle contributes to the achievement by a person of active longevity and the full performance of various social functions.

The main components of a healthy lifestyle are:

  • complete, balanced nutrition in terms of a set of vital substances;
  • being outdoors, hardening, immunity training;
  • organization of an individual expedient mode of motor activity that provides the daily need of the body for movement;
  • compliance with the regime of work and rest;
  • mental and emotional stability;
  • smart environmental behavior
  • compliance with all sanitary and hygienic standards, personal hygiene;
  • rejection of bad habits;
  • safe behaviour.

Preschool age is the most important period when a person's personality is formed. And it is during this period that the foundations for the formation of a culture of a healthy lifestyle are laid. The child acquires many habits, including the skills to perform vital movements that significantly affect the functioning of the organs and systems of the body, awareness of the importance of personal hygiene, proper nutrition, and an active lifestyle.

Concern for strengthening the health of the child is not only a medical problem, but also a pedagogical one. The team of teachers of the State Educational Ekaterinburg Orphanage No. 5 for children with disabilities understands perfectly well that only properly organized educational work with children ensures the formation of a culture of a healthy lifestyle, and these are not just hygiene measures.

The health of our pupils is determined by such factors as heredity, health disorders, living conditions and upbringing in the family and in the educational organization. The formation of a healthy personality of children and, in particular, children with disabilities is possible by ensuring an effective relationship of physical education with the purposeful development of his personality, in a specially created and organized environment that promotes the development of independence, self-organization, self-regulation of their own actions.

Our task, as educators, is to prepare pupils as much as possible for a meeting with various difficult and sometimes dangerous life situations. The most acute question arises about the need to develop the individual capabilities of each child, the formation of his vital competencies. Thus, the assimilation of the rules of health-saving behavior occurs through the formation of initial ideas about the social norms of interaction, primarily related to the attitude towards oneself and others.

To date, the formation of a culture of a healthy lifestyle is reflected in pedagogical theory and practice, but this problem has been little studied in relation to children with disabilities brought up in an orphanage. The issues of forming a healthy lifestyle culture in children with sensory, motor, speech and intellectual disabilities in orphanages have not been sufficiently developed, despite the fact that these children need specially organized conditions for education and upbringing.

Features of the development of our pupils influence the formation of their behavior, activities, emotional-volitional and cognitive spheres, which is undoubtedly reflected in the formation of ideas about the culture of a healthy lifestyle. The educators of our orphanage try to take into account these features in order to implement a personality-oriented and differentiated approach to each child when teaching the skills to maintain and improve their health, taking into account their condition. In addition, relying on the personal experience of children in the implementation of medical prescriptions helps them realize the need to take care of their health.

When forming a culture of a healthy lifestyle in children, we use (preschool age with disabilities) the following forms of work: observation, demonstration of methods of action, viewing video and photo materials, illustrations, visual activities, didactic and plot-role-playing games; teacher's stories, conversations, problem solving, experiments, exercises, recreational and tempering activities.

From our practice, we see that when performing hygiene measures, the greatest responsiveness in children is caused by nursery rhymes and jokes. For example:

Ay, frets, frets, frets,
We love water very much.
We wash clean
We smile sweetly.

Pure water
Wash Sasha's face,
Vanechka - palms,
And the fingers - Andryushka.

Squish - squish with handles,
The basin was full of soap.
Don't touch, Slavochka,
Soapy eye pen.
And the water gurgles
And the water is foaming.
Slavochka will wash,
Get dressed, get dressed.

If you don't wash yourself in the morning,
The fairy might be surprised.
Do not know and be afraid.
We'd better wash up.
(I. Gurina)

Also of particular interest are:

  • game - experimentation: "Clean and dirty hands", "Making soap bubbles", "Who is reflected in the mirror?", "Wet sleeves and a towel";
  • game - travel: "Confusion, or what is it for?", "Journey to the country of the Toothbrush";
  • game situations: "Let's help the doll Masha get together to visit the doll Dasha", "The bunny's sock is lost";
  • problematic situations: "Dunno hurt his knee", "A stranger offers to take a walk outside the territory of the orphanage";
  • conversations: "Where do diseases come from"; "What to do if a person gets sick?", "Healthy food", "What do you need soap for?";
  • didactic game: Teach Mishka to fold his things", "Show Winnie the Pooh how to wipe his face and hands with a towel", "Teach Katya to fasten buttons", "Tell Piglet how to eat";
  • health-improving and hardening activities: walking on a preventive rug, breathing exercises, air baths, visiting the pool, rinsing the mouth, etc.

Formation of a culture of a healthy lifestyle is extremely important in strengthening the health of the pupils of our orphanage, developing their independence, initiative, responsibility in matters of maintaining and preserving health; knowledge of the characteristics of one's body, possible health pathologies and ways to correct them (development of compensatory mechanisms); knowledge of the basics of safe behavior in everyday life, society; formation of skills of self-regulation of one's own actions and interaction with others.

The child's right to health is enshrined in international and national laws and regulations. The duty and duty of all adults is not only to observe, respect and protect this right, but also to equip the child with the necessary knowledge about their own health, to prepare them for a decent life in society.

Relevance.

The foundation of human health is laid in early childhood. How we, adults, take care of the health of the child, how we teach him to be healthy, depends on his future life. Of particular social importance is the provision of active differentiated assistance to children with disabilities. Currently, there is a constant search for effective methods of improving children's health in a kindergarten.

One of these methods is, in our opinion, the method of projects. An educational project is considered today as a joint educational, cognitive, creative or play activity that has a common goal, agreed methods, methods of activity and is aimed at achieving a common result.

We turned to project activities for a number of reasons. Firstly, project activity develops a scientific-cognitive and practical-active attitude to the surrounding reality. Secondly, it is the project activity that allows supporting children's initiative. Thirdly, all project activity participants /children, teachers, parents/ gain experience of productive interaction.

Analysis of the situation in our group showed:

  • children are little informed about their health, about what human health depends on;
  • do not know how to apply their knowledge in everyday life;
  • they do not understand the importance of observing the daily routine, they know little about the benefits of vitamins, they do not always wash their hands thoroughly; use a handkerchief only when reminded; violate elementary hygienic rules: they take fingers and toys in their mouths, they bite their nails.

Parents pay insufficient attention to the health of the child:

  • do not follow the daily routine;
  • on weekends they go to bed late, they allow the child to spend a lot of time at the computer;
  • the child's clothes do not always correspond to the season;
  • food at home is often inadequate;
  • hygiene procedures in many families are carried out irregularly.

These reasons led to the creation of the project "My Health".

Project type: information and creative, medium-term (1 month).

Project participants: kindergarten preparatory group (children aged 6-7), teachers, parents.

Problematic question: How to learn not to get sick?

Target: learn to maintain and improve health.

FORMATION IN CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

HEALTH BASIS OF A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.
Chekhlova E.V., MBDOU "Kindergarten No. 423 of Chelyabinsk" Physical activity is important at any age - both in children and in adults. But in childhood, when the main systems of a growing organism are being formed, when his health for many, many years depends on how harmoniously the baby develops. Therefore, a preschooler with disabilities (HIA, with mental retardation) must be introduced and taught to use all the means of physical education, which in the future will help him easily adapt to the conditions of school education. Is it possible to strengthen and maintain the health of a child without engaging in physical education? Of course not. Movement is a natural biological need of children, and limiting this not only delays harmonious formation, but also leads to the fact that in subsequent periods of life the child cannot master certain motor skills. However, it should be borne in mind that increased loads that do not meet the physiological needs of a growing organism can significantly interfere with the harmonious development of a child. How to stay on the "golden mean", on the one hand - properly developing the baby in accordance with his potential, on the other - without harming him with an excessive load? The problem of the deterioration of the health of the younger generation in recent years has become increasingly important. According to the Ministry of Health, only 13% of children aged 6–7 years old can be considered healthy, and one of the significant reasons for this situation is the lack of value in children about their own health.
For the successful implementation of the tasks of educational and recreational work, not only specially organized activities are necessary, but also a personal example of all participants in the upbringing of the child - teachers, parents. Parents and educators should be like-minded people and solve health issues together. Health lessons, consultations, parent meetings on health issues - this is a small list of cases. Motor activity at preschool age is an important condition for the development of a child with disabilities and the formation of all organs and systems of his body. The movement is of particular relevance and social significance for the physical and mental health of preschool children with mental retardation (MPD). Satisfaction of the preschooler's need for movement is the most important condition for his life and normal development - not only physical, which has already been mentioned above, but also intellectual. Sufficient physical activity in terms of volume has a positive effect on the functional state of the brain, an increase in working capacity, an increase in arbitrariness in the performance of various actions. With age, physical activity will take an increasing place in the child’s daily routine, contribute to the normal development of the central nervous system, improve memory, learning processes, normalize the emotional and motivational sphere, improve sleep, and increase opportunities not only in physical, but also in mental activity. The purpose of preschool education is the comprehensive harmonious development of the child, which provides for the protection and strengthening of his health, ensuring full physical and mental development. The means of physical culture make it possible to influence all spheres of a child's development, including those that are of decisive importance not only for full-fledged physical development, but also for mental, moral, labor, aesthetic. The goal of my work with children with disabilities is to form the foundations of a healthy lifestyle for them and achieve conscious fulfillment
elementary rules of health care. To achieve my goals, I use the following means of motor orientation: physical exercises; physical education minutes and pauses; emotional discharges; gymnastics (health after sleep); finger gymnastics, visual, respiratory, corrective; physiotherapy; outdoor and sports games; massage; self-massage; psychogymnastics. I use finger games daily. They are a powerful way to increase the efficiency of the brain. Psychologists say that gymnastics for the fingers develops mental activity, memory, attention of the child. To strengthen vision, I use the following points: visual pauses, at any time of the day, children close their eyes and open them, you can press the eyelids with your finger. Corrective physical minutes - to strengthen vision - are held in the classroom, because. complete looseness of children in movements is necessary. Visual gymnastics - allows the eye to cope with a significant visual load. We use gymnastics in drawing classes, looking at pictures, and during long-term observation. We carry out training exercises for the eyes several times a day, depending on the activity that causes tension. Children like emotional warm-ups (let's laugh; let's scream so that the walls tremble; as if a huge, unknown beast is screaming, etc.) Along with traditional forms of work, I conduct self-massage for colds with children with mental retardation (author A.I. Umanskaya). Everyone knows that a person has special points on the body that regulate the activity of internal organs. Massaging these points increases the body's defenses as a whole. With children, after a daytime sleep, I conduct corrective exercises (for the prevention and correction of flat feet).
During the day, the children and I find a moment to please them by doing the following exercises: stretch like a cat, lie like a tumbler, yawn with your mouth open to your ears, crawl like a snake without the help of hands. This is very important for the development and strengthening of the musculoskeletal system of the child. The healing powers of nature are of great importance for the health of children: regular walks in the fresh air, sun and air baths, herbal medicine, aromatherapy, vitamin therapy, hardening, outdoor games. G.A. Speransky wrote: "A day spent by a child without a walk is lost for his health." A child of preschool age should be outside for at least 3 hours a day. And so I, in my work with children, try to be in the fresh air as much as possible. "Aromotherapy" - the process of inhaling aromas - has a great healing effect. This has a positive effect on the nervous system and the brain. So smells can cause joy, excitement, calmness, inspiration. But due to the fact that the number of children with allergies has increased, I take permission from each parent to conduct Aromatherapy. Thus, all these means allow us to gradually stabilize the health of children, reduce morbidity, and introduce them to a healthy lifestyle. Now we are like-minded people, teachers and parents, have one goal - to raise healthy children.
