In defense of teachers.
Nikolai Viktorovich has almost lost his sleep lately. Cause
this was an 8th grade student Anatoly Mamonov, among the students the more famous
like mammoth. It was with him that the chemistry teacher Savelyev had problems.
Repeater, head and shoulders above his teacher, Mammoth behaved arrogantly and
defiantly: did not obey, was impudent, violated discipline in the class, and most
offensive - he tried to say to Nikolai Viktorovich "You." The fact is that
Savelyev recently transferred to this school, has not yet entered, as they say, into the course
business, did not know the children well, acquaintance with the teachers was also not enough
close. All this created additional difficulties. Relationship with
his students were normal, but the 8th "B", or rather one Mamonov
spoiled the whole picture and the nerves of Nikolai Viktorovich. He seemed to try
all means - from individual conversations with the pupil to meetings with
parents, etc. Nothing helped. However, Savelyev was persistent and did not
used to giving up. He briefly reacquainted himself with the works of the great educators
Pestalozzi, Makarenko, Sukhomlinsky and others ... Unfortunately, there is no answer
found. Then he tried to get good advice and help from experienced
school teachers. Found sympathy and understanding, but no real
recommendations, except for the thoughtful one: “We need to pick up
"key" ... "he did not hear. And the preoccupied teacher began to feverishly search
my own solution to this problem ... And I found it!
Somewhat excited, he came to school, spent one lesson, and then
went up to the young teacher Lidia Stepanovna, who repeatedly
cried at recess because of the same Mamonov: “Lida, you now have mathematics in
8 -B? Give me 5 minutes, we need to talk ... "It's clear that she
agreed. The bell rang. After waiting a couple of minutes, Nikolai Viktorovich
entered the class. Everyone stood up in confusion. Saveliev greeted. Children
answered in unison. At the same time, a timid voice sounded: “We have mathematics, and not
chemistry…” “I know guys. But I could not help coming, and now you will understand
why. Tell me, Valya, how do you address the teacher with “you” or “you”?
Valya Ivanova stood up and answered frightened: “To“ You. “And you, Andrey?” - "On the
You…” After asking two more guys and getting similar answers, Nikolai
Viktorovich proceeded to the main part of his pedagogical experiment:

paused and looked out the window. But the children have already figured out who it is and
began to look in the direction of Mamonov ... And Nikolai Viktorovich

institute…” The class began to giggle softly, and Mammoth blushed. The teacher
shared his “memories” further: “We served together in the army, in
they got married at one time ... ”Loud laughter did not allow him to finish his thought. And the teacher
dealt the last "blow": he approached the cringing and crimson with shame
Mamonov, extended his hand to him and said guiltily: “Tolik, excuse me - I
I didn’t recognize you…” His words were drowned out by a real explosion of merry laughter.
Everyone laughed - both boys and girls, and "good" and "average", including
including Lydia Stepanovna. Some children jumped up from their seats and
ran up to the last desk, where Mammoth was sitting. They held out their hands to him,
laughing, they shouted: “Hi, my friend! ... And in what troops did you serve? ... Who is your
wife? ... "... The news of this event spread throughout the school and reached

The profession of a teacher is one of the most important in the modern world. The future of human civilization depends on his efforts. A professional teacher is the only person who spends most of his time raising and teaching children. If the process of teaching children by a teacher stops, then a crisis will inevitably come. New generations, due to the lack of specific knowledge, will not be able to support cultural, economic and social progress. Without a doubt, the society will not receive morally and professionally prepared teachers. The teaching profession is both transformative and managerial. And in order to manage the process of personal development, you need to be competent.

I must admit that the task that is now before us, whereharder than before. We have to share reflections on a topic that we would not like to simplify or turn intospectacular statements,I wanted to get today not a ceremonial speech, buta detailed presentation of our working thoughtsabout the modern school and the role of the teacher in it.

First - global, which determines what changes are taking place in the life of society and what they lead to a modern school.

And, the second - personal, determining the possibility and necessity of change in the subjects of education themselves: students and teachers.

"The most important priority is the desire of children and parents to study in a normal school, with normal teachers, in normal conditions."

Didn't we educate a person before, didn't we teach a student?

Yes, they taught. Yes, they were raised.

But why, then, in our country in the last half century of the 20th century, 95% of cultural values ​​were destroyed, why did callousness and rudeness begin to flourish? Why is it sometimes so difficult to find sparks of kindness and mercy in our children, why are they indifferent to the elderly, and why do parents refuse children?

What did we do wrong? What have you lost? What is missed if the main institution of our society collapses.

Only talented teachers, teachers by vocation, master teachers should work in the school of the future.

The teacher is the most important factor in learning: the success of innovations depends on him. If the teacher does not accept innovations, they cannot be successful.

The development of teacher potential depends on various factors: material and moral incentives, an effective system of advanced training, the development of professional reflection based on personal growth programs (acmeograms). Acmeogram - the main method of the acmeographic approach. A. - a specific system of requirements, conditions and factors that contribute to the progressive development of professional skills and the personality of a specialist. Acmeogram is always individual, compiled exclusively for a particular specialist and aimed at his individual personal and professional development. The development of A. should be carried out according to a single methodological scheme. In the typical scheme of A. there are sections related to the level of the general (substructures of professional qualifications, general acmeological invariants of professionalism), special (substructures of personality orientation, specific acmeological invariants of professionalism), individual (substructures of abilities, characterological features, moral qualities).

Most of the teachers working at the school are tired (retirement and closer to retirement age) people burdened by a mass of unresolved problems of a wide range (housing, material wealth, the inability to receive free and sanatorium treatment, etc.). Values, baggage of knowledge, a set of methodological tools and techniques of most teachers correspond to another era and often conflict with the requirements of today.

The project "Education" is not only informatization, the project - first of all - new requirements and a new look at the most ancient profession - a teacher. Are teachers ready for a modern view of their profession, are they ready to change their worldview, their principles in order to bring students, the country to a new stage of development?

In the post-Soviet period, the authority of the teacher was sharply undermined (the media played an important role in this). The attitude of society towards our profession has changed.

It is good that now the state is trying to raise the status of teachers.

People with a vocation should go into this profession. The modern school needs young smart teachers. Unfortunately, the "old guard" has already exhausted its capabilities. Their rich experience and knowledge of the subject is no longer perceived by students at the translational level, and interactive technologies are too tough for many.

Young, smart and with a vocation can provide, at best, a hundred experimental schools throughout Russia, but what about the rest of the MOU. A young and smart person will not go to school for 7,000 rubles, but will get a job somewhere for 30,000 rubles. Without terrible supervision from above, bundles of reports and constant checks.

The quality and effectiveness of any education system ultimately depends on the work of teachers, so the level of training of teachers and their role in society is important. The high quality of educational services can be achieved only if there are high-class teachers who constantly improve their skills, mobile respond to changes taking place in the educational space.

A modern teacher has the skills to use computer telecommunications. An "illiterate" computer teacher is a ballast, not only in terms of his own capabilities, but also in terms of the status of teachers in general. Time demands that the teacher be a dynamic person, a change agent. It is he who will have to teach children to live in a world where changes occur every day. The common task of educators will be to give students the opportunity to join not only the known information technology, but also the technology that will replace the current one. New information technologies urgently require the strengthening and strengthening of the role of teachers. Teachers should be given every opportunity to enter the new age with dignity and to have a higher status.

A modern school will need teachers who both have a deep knowledge of psychological and pedagogical knowledge and understand the peculiarities of the development of schoolchildren, and who are professionals in other areas of activity, able to help children find themselves in the future, become independent, creative and self-confident people, energetic. “Personality educates personality” is the ABC of the educational process. Therefore, the personality of the teacher has an exceptional role in the education and upbringing of the child. The personal qualities of the teacher provide the learning process with a value-meaningful orientation and originality of influence through the individual culture of communication, behavior: to be self-possessed and calm, to be distinguished by the clarity of diction, the expressiveness of the presentation of thoughts, the evenness in the dynamics of feelings. Intellectual development should complement moral and value education. It is in the conditions of research activity that qualitative changes in the pedagogical thinking of teachers become real, there is an intensive development of their creative abilities and, as a result, the effective formation of a teacher-researcher.

Educator-researcher:

2. Continuously explores his system of work, carries out a scientific analysis of its various components.

3. Strives to constantly improve the effectiveness of its work.

4. Possesses the skills of practical use of pedagogical research methodology.

5. Tends to communicate with scientists and innovative teachers to get acquainted with the current problems of domestic and foreign pedagogy, best practices, innovative technologies, knows about the professional achievements of his colleagues

The trend of the new education should be that the child becomes the conscious master of his equipment; education should open his eyes to life, open the doors to the world of objective phenomena and relations. Initially, it is necessary to find out the nature of his natural impulses:

Do they gravitate towards physical expression, manual labor, which can include a wide range of qualification opportunities in specialties;

Does he have latent abilities for this or that kind of art, a reaction to color and form, a response to music and rhythm;

Does his intellectual level allow for a purely mental training in the field of analysis, deduction, mathematics or logic.

The teacher must reveal the creative abilities of students intuitively or through diagnostic work, correctly assess the child's capabilities and help him solve his problems, orient him towards his future profession.

For this, practical work, creative projects, olympiads, experiments, creative searches can be used to light the sparks of interest in the eyes of students that do not fade for a long time. The desire to learn about something new increases every day. Working in groups, pairs does not allow weaker students to get confused, everyone begins to believe in their own strengths.

According to J. Comenius, "the teacher is a helper of nature, and not its ruler, its builder, and not a reformer," therefore he himself chooses the forms, methods and techniques that contribute to the development of the natural inclinations of students.

The main task of the teacher is not just to convey, explain and show the students, but to organize a common search for a solution to the problem that has arisen before them. The teacher acts as the director of a mini-performance, which is born directly in the classroom. New learning conditions require the teacher to be able to listen to everyone on each question, without rejecting a single answer, to take the position of everyone who answers, in order to understand the logic of his thought and find a way out of the constantly changing educational situation. Teaching logic, discussion, dialogue, problem solving does not provide for a quick correct answer. Therefore, situations are possible when it is not possible to discover the truth in one lesson. The painstaking work of the teacher makes it possible to perform tasks that are interesting for children, approach the problem from different angles, encourage students to think, find ways to solve problems, teach them to think, prove, justify their thoughts. Schoolchildren from the first steps in mastering knowledge should look for a way of action, learn to use it until a new problem appears before them ... The purpose of all this is to minimize the passive stay of children in the classroom. The teacher for them is a partner, only more experienced.

The task of teachers is to teach children to think independently, be able to argue, defend their thoughts, ask a question, be proactive in acquiring new knowledge.

Creativity is the ability to create, to create something new, to solve problems outside the box. This manifests itself in various areas of life, not only in science and art, but in communication, learning, time planning, and everyday life. Therefore, we can develop creativity in one area, and it will manifest itself in other areas. Creativity gives meaning, makes life richer, more intense and happier...

Creative teacher:

Stimulates and maintains a creative atmosphere in the group, which allows you to speak, think, work without stress, anxiety and fear of punishment.

Provides the emergence of stimulating, requiring a creative attitude of situations.

Shows through creativity, pedagogical improvisation, finding an unexpected pedagogical solution and its implementation;

Conducts a reflection of his abilities, self-awareness in pedagogical activity and evaluation of its effectiveness.

Shows tolerance and approval in relation to unusual thoughts, original ideas, creative achievements.

Teaches students to accept and value their own opinion, (as well as someone else's) creative thinking and the results achieved.

It can be said that creativity is a person's duty to himself.

Educators who are enthusiastic about developing their own creativity are constantly growing creatively. They are more likely to achieve successful results. Teachers who are able to capture what others think and feel have a special gift for group creativity. They are able to perceive the ideas of students, adding something of their own. To increase their ability to empathy, they develop the ability to listen, empathize. This is what a modern teacher should be like.

Currently, scientists, teachers, psychologists repeatedly address the problem of the teacher, giving this concept other names, for example, “competencies”, “professional qualities” of the teacher. This issue remains relevant, since, naturally, the state and society change over time, which means that the requirements imposed by the state and society on the teacher change. It remains an open question what teacher qualities (or “competences”) should be i.e. not dependent on time, but what qualities should be “mobile”, i.e. necessary for the teacher-teacher in connection with the demand of the "new" time. So, for example, just 10-15 years ago, the possession of computer technology was not among the “competences” of a teacher, but now this quality is necessary for a modern teacher.

These questions are also relevant for teacher education:

“What kind of teacher should a pedagogical university prepare?”,

and for school principals:

"What kind of teacher should work in a modern school?"; "What kind of teacher does a modern student need?"

and for parents who now have unlimited opportunities to choose an educational institution for their child, and most importantly, this issue is important for students:“Which teacher would they like to learn from?”

How much is said about student motivation!But it is not uncommon for a teacher to be unmotivated. Will such a person with a teaching diploma show the high class of teaching that the director who hired him expects from him? ..

The intra-school model of development of teacher potential contributes to the creation of an integral system of interrelated measures, actions, activities aimed at the comprehensive improvement of the qualifications and professional growth of each teacher.

Based on the andragogical approach in the field of methodical work, the proposed model allows:

1. to expand the "space of possible actions" of teachers in the field of improving their own skills in the use of pedagogical technologies, forms and methods of teaching;
2. build each teacher's own trajectory for improving professional skills, creative self-development;
3. to combine the efforts of teachers and administration to solve the problems of the development of the educational process set before the modern school.
