Xi'an Foreign Language University was founded in 1952, it is the very first university among the 4 foreign language universities in China. Currently, it is the only foreign language higher education institution in the northwestern region of China.
SUIA has 2 districts, the area is 160 hectares. (construction area is 679,000 sq. meters). The university is equipped with the most advanced technology for teaching. In 2006, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China opened a state grant for foreign students of SUFL. In 2007, with the agreement of the State Chinese Language Committee, we began cooperation with the Eurasian University of the Republic of Kazakhstan and established the Confucius Institute, which is the first overseas Confucius Institute of Shaanxi Province abroad. Graduation requirements:
A. Attendance in all subjects, tests and exams during the years of study (passing exams is not lower than 60 points). Provide HSK Level 6 certificate. Upon completion of passing state exams, the university issues a university diploma.
B. Prepare and defend a thesis; upon graduation from the university, a bachelor's degree diploma is issued.
C. Student absences should not exceed 20% of the total number of class hours.
D. The student is allowed to retake the exams in the subject once. The time for retaking exams is set by the university administration.

The institution of SUFL was created in 1952 as the Institute of Foreign Languages, which included the College of the Russian Language. In 1979 he began graduate programs in linguistics and literature. In 1995, he merged the Shaanxi Foreign Language School, which is its current campus in Yanta, and in 2005, it was renamed Xi'an International Studies University.

Admission to the SUFL university is carried out on the general basis provided for by the legislation of the People's Republic of China. The applicant is required to provide the admissions committee with a Certificate for 11 classes and an HSK certificate of at least level 4. The university actively promotes HSK, so you can complete the language program and take the exam directly at the institution itself.
Tuition fees at XISU per year:

History of Xi'an
The history of Xi'an begins in the Stone Age. The city was founded in the 11th century BC. It is one of the most ancient cities on our planet. It’s not for nothing that the Xians call it the cradle of civilization.
The first emperor of the country, Qin Shi Huang, gave Xi'an the status of the capital of the Zhou kingdom. The Great Silk Road also exited from here, thanks to which the city turned into an international trade center. In the middle of the 7th century, Xi'an became the center of the spread of Buddhism.
During its existence, Xi'an changed several names: Feng, Xianyang, Chang An, Hao, Chang'an.
Its heyday was observed during the Tang dynasty (VI-IX centuries). During this period it was called Chang'an (translated as "eternal peace") and could compete with Rome, Constantinople and Baghdad. After the fall of the dynasty, the city lost its former luster and began to decline.
In the twentieth century, the transformation of the city began, as a result of which it turned into an industrial and tourist center. At the end of the last century, Xi'an was declared an open city.

Neolithic site Banpo
In the middle of the last century, archaeologists not far from Xi'an discovered a unique ancient village, which they called Banpo (Banpo,半坡

In the parking area there are 45 dilapidated houses, some of which are half underground. They have a round or square shape. The entrance of all dwellings is directed to the south.

City wall
City wall(Town wall, 城牆) was built during the Ming Dynasty (in the fourteenth century) on the foundations of the wall laid in the Tang era. The wall, 14 kilometers long and 12 meters high, makes an unforgettable impression and testifies to the former greatness of the city. The width of the wall is 12-14 meters. The wall has four fortified gates, and watchtowers are located at its corners. A ditch has been dug around it. Those who wish can walk along the wall, admiring the picturesque landscapes.
Bell Tower of Zhong Liu
In the city center, at the crossroads of four main avenues, rises a huge bell tower(Bell Tower of Xi "a, 西安钟楼). Its bells previously notified residents that the city gates were opening, indicating the awakening of the city.

Two Geese Pagodas
Big Goose Pagoda(Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Da Yan Ta, 大雁塔) serves as the calling card of the city. The pagoda was built by Emperor Gao Zong in memory of his mother. It also contained Buddhist manuscripts brought from India. At first the pagoda was five stories high, but was later completed. The current height of the building is 64 meters. Singing Fountains
