Explanatory note
Introduction to the education system of new educational standards
led to an important task - the need for diagnostic materials,
allowing to organize a system for monitoring educational and personal
student achievement. How to track the formation and level of development
universal learning activities of students? How to account for unique
personality characteristics of each child? All these questions are actively
are currently being discussed. The need to organize the system
monitoring on the one hand, and on the other hand the lack of
developed diagnostic works on the subject "World around",
allowing to assess the level of formation of universal educational
actions served as the basis for the present development.
The proposed tests allow you to find out how much knowledge, skills and
the skills of students in grades 2 at the end of the school year correspond to
program requirements, and how students are able to use knowledge,
acquired during the period of study in the 2nd grade, skills and abilities in
performing test work.
The content of the tasks corresponds to the blocks of the course
"the world". In tests, you can find a reflection of the concept
Federal State Standard of Primary General Education
(competency-based approach, differentiation of tasks according to the level of complexity and
etc.). All options contain tasks of three levels of difficulty - basic,
elevated and high (parts A, B, C). These tests can be used for
intermediate control in the 2nd grade and starting level diagnostics
knowledge of schoolchildren at the beginning of the 3rd.

Objectives: to test the formation of the ability to identify essential
signs of objects of animate and inanimate nature;
meaningfully read the task, plan its execution, set
compliance, exercise self-control;
test knowledge of the sequence of months of the year;
test knowledge of the rules of behavior in nature;
determine the level of subject and meta-subject skills in grade 2.
The materials of these tests will allow the teacher to:
check the level of assimilation of theoretical material in all basic
the topics of the course "the world around us", studied in the 2nd grade;
determine whether students have the ability to apply the acquired knowledge to
practice;
identify gaps in students' knowledge and adjust the work plan for
repetition and consolidation of the material covered;
use a differentiated approach to teaching;
gradually prepare students for the test form of control in order to
orient them in the future to the format of the state final
certification.
Test structure
The test contains 11 tasks divided into three parts.
Part A - tasks 18, they provide for the choice of a single answer from
four proposed.

Part B - tasks 910, they require an independent answer or solution.
Part C - task 11, this is a task of a high level of difficulty, here
a short answer is required.
Test grading
One lesson is allotted to complete the test work. For processing
tests, the teacher can use a five-point evaluation system. For each
correctly completed task of parts A - B of the test is given 1 point. Part assignment
C is evaluated separately and only with a “mark” of 5 for correct execution.
By the number of mistakes made, the teacher reduces the number
points. Thus, the maximum number of points for the entire work (parts
AB) - 10.
Scale for converting points into a five-point assessment:
10 points - score "5"
89 points - rating "4"
67 points - grade "3"
05 points - score "2"
These tests were carried out by me in the 2nd grade as a current
Verification work. In general, the students coped with all the tasks,
the average percentage of completion is 72%. Based on these results, there were
prospects are outlined: attention should be paid to the formation of
learning the ability to distinguish between phenomena of living and inanimate nature,
determine their essential features; read the task intelligently
plan its implementation, establish compliance, implement
self-control. In addition, attention should be paid to the formation
students the ability to translate information into a sign system. AT

further, when preparing for the lessons, it is necessary to take into account the received
results, identify opportunities to accompany learners,
those experiencing learning difficulties, and opportunities to support those who are able
students.
