The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) makes it possible to unblock our body from the "blocks" that we create inside ourselves when we experience stress due to negative events. These "blocks" are constantly manifested in our lives by painful sensations and repetitive situations.

How it works?

We pronounce our problem and at the same time stimulate (tap) biologically active points on the body. This combination of acupuncture and psychology gives very fast and profound results.

TES consists of 4 steps.
STEP 1.

Define your problem, give it a brief description.

For example:

"I have a toothache". “Neighbors didn’t let me sleep”, “I’m afraid….”

STEP 2.

Rate your problem on a scale of 1 to 10. Here you need to choose, first of all, what worries you the most. How often do you think about the problem, what negative emotions it causes. The rating is conditional.

Step 3

Session setup. It consists in the fact that you repeat a certain phrase three times in a row and at the same time lightly tap the “karate point” on the other hand with the fingertips of one hand. The phrase that you repeat while doing this sounds like this:

“Even though _________, I deeply and completely accept myself.”

Instead of a space, you state your problem.

For example,

"Even though 'I'm deeply depressed', I deeply and completely love, appreciate and accept myself."

This is how the session is set up.

Step 4

Tapping - tapping the meridian points with your fingertips. This is done about 7 times, but, in fact, you start from your inner feelings. Over time, you will feel when you need to move to the next point. my head hurts” - go to the next point: “I have a headache again”, the next point: “this headache Tapping on the points, you repeat the essence of the problem (preferably out loud). You can quarrel at the same time, you can get angry if the situation annoys you a lot. For example, “I just got sick of me again”, the next point: “why does it hurt all the time, it’s just impossible” ... and so on.

1. palm edge (karate point)

2. crown

3. inner corners of the eyebrows

4. outer corners of the eyebrows

5. under the eyes at the level of the bones

6. under the nose

7. chin

8. under the collarbones

9. armpit (where women have a bone from a bra)

The Emotional Freedom Technique helps:

cope with anxiety, fear, guilt, resentment, etc.,

relieve tension and fatigue,

get rid of pain and physical discomfort,

helps boost self-esteem

improve eyesight,

increase energy levels

reduce dependence on food, alcohol, etc.,

improve sleep,

TPP - in my opinion, a very effective technique, proven in practice. With her help, everything is treated - from headaches to serious psychological trauma of childhood. The author of the technique, Gary Craig, advises use it on everything you can. It is believed that this technique can help in 80% of cases immediately. The remaining 20% require more hard work. For example, phobias go away within a minute.

TPP is completely calm can be used on its own, without any therapists, moreover, her can be applied without contact. Even children can learn to use it in a few minutes.

The main postulate of TES is the following: "The cause of all negative emotions is a violation of the normal functioning of the body's energy system."
During TES therapy, we focus on the problem, then by influencing the meridians, we eliminate disturbances in the energy system for this particular problem. After that the problem disappears. The experience remains, but the emotional charge and pain that could define our entire lives disappear.

Work with TPP consists of the following parts:

1.Clarifying the problem itself- obtaining the best description of it. “Headache”, “Uncomfortable sensations in the stomach”, “I have depression”
2.Assessment of subjective strength problems on a 10-point scale. Just subjectively determine how much the problem bothers you at the moment.
3. We repeat the phrase “Even though __________________ I deeply and completely love and accept myself” three times. Write your problem in an empty space - for example, “Even though my boss is a beast and I hate him, I deeply and completely accept, forgive and love myself”, etc. At the same time, we tapping with the fingertips of one hand, “Karate Point”
4. Tapping - tapping with your fingertips on meridian points. About 7 times. At the same time, we repeat the essence of the problem at each point. For example - "This headache - go to the next point - this headache - trace point - this headache - etc."

We tap on one side .. On which one - it doesn’t matter.

NB= Beginning Eyebrow
KG= Edge of the Eye
PG= Under Eye
PN = Under the nose
PB= Chin
CL= Beginning of Clavicle
RH = Handy
PS = Under the nipple
BP= Thumb
FP = index finger
SP= Middle Finger
MZ = Little finger
TK = Karate Point
TC= Link Point

5. Tapping constantly on the Link Point the following set of actions is performed (it is not necessary to repeat the problem at this time)

Close eyes
. Open eyes
. Move your eyes as far to the right as possible
. Move your eyes as far to the left as possible
. Make a full circle with the eyes in one direction
. Make a full circle with the eyes in the opposite direction
. "Hum" any melody for a couple of seconds
. count to 5
. Again, "hum" any melody for a couple of seconds

6. After that repeat the tapping procedure(tapping with your fingertips on the corresponding points), as described in paragraph 4.

Together it's called a "ham sandwich" - the two tapping procedures are kind of a bun, and tapping the scale point and doing the action is kind of a ham in between.
This thing is one "round" or "cycle" of EFT. The entire EFT is made up of these cycles..

7. Take a deep breath and exhale, and evaluate the problem again on a subjective scale. It may not decrease (rarely) or decrease by 1-2 units, or disappear altogether (it happens). If it didn’t disappear - but decreased - then we continue the whole procedure again from point 3, while in the setup we say “Even though I still feel a headache, I deeply and completely forgive and accept myself” or “Even despite that I still have this problem, I deeply and completely forgive and accept myself” - that is, we are now working with the remnants of the problem.

8. Again, we evaluate the condition on a subjective scale (there is an assessment all the time in comparison with the initial state), if something is left untreated - that is, more than zero - we repeat the “sandwich”. And so on until there is zero. Please note! We must always bring the problem to a complete solution. Down to zero. If you had a fear of rats, then a complete zero is the ability to pick up a rat and not experience any unpleasant emotions. This is all quite realistically achieved in 10-15 minutes of EFT, by the way.
That's the whole EFT procedure. You can really learn it in just 5 minutes, you just need to remember the sequence of actions.

Throughout the day, we experience many emotions - from positive to negative. We express positive emotions immediately: laughter, delight, pleasure, joy. But with a splash of negative emotions it is much harder - it's not decent !!! You can’t really yell at the boss and it’s hard to get angry at a late bus ... and there are a lot of events from the past that you want to forget about, but it doesn’t work out. So anger, anger, envy, longing, insecurity and self-pity accumulate in us for years.

2. Understanding: how we accumulate emotions

An emotional reaction and experience leaves not just an emotional trace in the human body, but also an internal block. Emotion is an energy that is stuck in our physical body and is waiting to be discharged. Waiting for a similar situation to activate and splash out. They accumulate throughout life and as a result people react not to the objective situation in which they find themselves, but to similar situations that strained them in the past. What kind of freedom from emotions can we talk about in this case?

Not only do we react inadequately, we also make inadequate decisions in accordance with this reaction, and then we wonder why everything in our life does not turn out the way we would like, why we behaved strangely in a particular situation, why we kept silent, where it was necessary to answer Why didn't you rest when you felt overtired? We are constantly putting everything off, not finishing it, keeping silent, because it’s easier this way - every time life puts us in front of the need to take a step, we put it off. It turns out that emotional freedom requires us to be as conscious and collected as possible, not giving a chance to give up.

The biggest barrier to emotional freedom is society. In society, a person is beginning to be taught that he owes everyone. The child should behave well, study well, obey the elders. At an older age, we owe our parents, our children, our bosses, the traffic police, we owe almost everyone. Yes, the tax office, of course, we must too. Moreover, we owe so much that there is no way to give everything that we owe. Therefore, a sense of duty is a negative emotion, since a feeling of guilt arises for the part that you did not give up.

Therefore, in order to begin to feel and notice your emotions in the physical body and stop supporting them, it is necessary to clear the body of all tension blocks that clip the wings of our emotional freedom.

3. Feeling: how emotions are reflected in our body in the form of tension

If we pay attention to our body at the time when we experience a strong emotion, we will notice that some muscle group is contracting at this moment. But whether these muscles have completely relaxed is already difficult to track.
Stuck tension in the organs, muscles, bones and fascia begins to destroy our energy.

On the etheric field, it blocks energy along the meridians, organs and muscles suffer, which cease to receive enough energy nutrition.

They begin to work weaker, blood flow and nerve fibers are pinched in the muscles, and patency is impaired. This is where diseases come from.
The more sensitive you become, the sooner you begin to notice how, for example, your head starts to hurt from anger and you gradually become "not tasty" to unwind and maintain such an emotional state.

4. Emotional Freedom Techniques: How to release already accumulated emotions and start letting go?

You can talk on this topic for as long as you like, or you can just take it and try to cleanse yourself of unnecessary emotions. The result will be peace and tranquility. Calmness - this is real strength - do not confuse it with indifference! The world will not become dimmer, joy will not dull. It just stops throwing you from side to side. The energy that was previously absorbed by your unbridled emotions will remain with you. And energy is power. Now you control this force, and not something. Use it for yourself, to achieve your goals!

Do you think that you need to find special methods for feeling emotional freedom?
Do you feel like something is stopping you from doing it? Can't guess what? Well, of course, they are emotions. They, too, can be understood - they are fighting for self-preservation. They have long been friends with our ego. Be prepared for the ego to resist change. Even if it's for the better. The ego is against any change in our lives.

You can talk, or you can do. Life is a doing, a movement, not a talking shop. Life is the application, the use of the energy that is given to us, and not to emotions. And if we ourselves do not use it, then someone else will definitely use it, because energy is power and strength.

The most basic technique for releasing and expressing repressed emotions is

Dynamic Meditation

Basic daily technique, 5 stages - the second stage of 10 minutes of catharsis.
We do it every morning

"Beyond Emotions" group

Meditation group based on catharsis with an angel,
which will allow you to completely let yourself go

Social meditation Aum marathon - in 2.5 hours we live 12 different emotional states

“I don’t know what you are missing, but you definitely lack energy, lack drive. You do everything right in life, you are reasonable people, and still something is missing ... And all life is busy with survival - work - rest , rest - work ...

We would like to change something in our life... Although life really just reflects who we are. And what can we do to change this? Just do something with yourself, change something inside yourself ... and maybe then the reflection of the reality that is inside of us will also change ...

In the AUM meditation marathon we do something to prepare ourselves for life - life is not here - life is there! And here, in general, the same thing will happen that happens in ordinary life - love, hatred, anger - all the same emotions"
Swami Kayoum
AUM consists of 12 stages and lasts about 2.5 hours. This is social meditation, i.e. it involves interacting with others through acceptance, support, and empathy. And each person here is like a mirror, gives you the opportunity to take a closer look at yourself from the outside.

Today we want to introduce you to an incredibly effective technique that will allow you to cope with many problems on your own: you will learn how to relieve stress, emotional tension, physical pain, get rid of difficult experiences, limiting beliefs, negative subconscious attitudes that hinder your development and growth, and so on.

The effect of this technique is especially noticeable in moments of acute outbreaks of negative emotions (irritation, anger, rage, resentment, pain, anxiety, etc.). Right in the process of doing it, you will feel significant relief! Besides, mark one more interesting "phenomenon". Very often you can make discoveries that are completely unexpected for yourself and understand that the reason for an emotional response to a particular situation is not at all in it. In general, it is very interesting and very effective. Verified more than once!

We present you EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique, or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) - one of the meridian techniques based on the principles of traditional Eastern medicine (acupressure) and Western psychology. EFT was created by American engineer Gary Craig in the 90s, based on Dr. Roger Callahan's technique, Thought Field Therapy.

My acquaintance with this amazing technique happened in the process of reading Joe Vitale's book "The Key". For those who haven't read it, I highly recommend it. In it, the author reveals one of the main secrets of achieving the desired and shares various techniques for releasing fears, blocks, negative attitudes, and so on.

Surely many of you know some techniques to attract anything into your life, but few people realize that this medal has a downside. Before you get something, you need to make room for this and free yourself from subconscious negative attitudes in this regard.

The Emotional Freedom Technique is based on the following statement:"The cause of all negative emotions is a violation of the normal functioning of the body's energy system." And the very principle of TES is based on ancient Chinese medicine, which uses energy channels in the human body, called meridians.

In the process of TES therapy, a person concentrates on a problem, then by influencing the meridians (by simply tapping fingers on certain points on the face and body) eliminates disturbances in the energy system for this particular problem. After the session, only the experience itself remains, and the emotional charge and pain that accompanied it disappear.

It is believed that this technique can help in 80% of cases immediately. os the tal 20% require more hard work. For example, phobias go away within a minute. The author of the technique, Gary Craig himself, advises using it on everything that is possible. After all, TPP is quite simple in terms of technical performance. Even children can learn how to use it in just a few minutes.

Joe Vitale, in his famous bestseller The Key, says the following about EFT:

"Negative emotions that limit us and prevent us from attracting into our lives what we consciously want are caused by a violation of the energy system of the body. By pressing on key points, we balance energy and clear blocks. Plus, it's the easiest stress reliever I've ever come across.

The possibilities of the universe are endless - you deserve to have whatever you want. The degree of your dissatisfaction with the lack of something in your life is determined by the degree of your resistance to your desires. Most often, we do not allow abundance into our lives, either because of the fear that it is not safe for us, or because of the belief that we do not deserve it, or for both reasons at once.."

The Emotional Freedom Technique will allow you to let go of your limiting beliefs and allow you to attract whatever you want into your life.

1. Identification of the problem itself with which you will work. Describe her. What is this situation? For example, “I have a headache,” “I was upset by a quarrel with my spouse, he doesn’t understand me,” “the boss is annoying,” “I don’t believe that I can achieve my goal,” and so on.

2. An assessment of the degree of your experiences on a 10-point scale. Just determine how strong your feelings about the current situation are at the moment. How much this situation touches you.

3. Set up for a session. It consists in the fact that you repeat a certain phrase three times in a row and at the same time lightly tap the “karate point” on the other hand with the fingertips of one hand (this is the point on the edge of your palm that is struck in karate, see the figure on the right). The phrase that you repeat while doing this is: “Even though _________, I deeply and completely accept myself.” Instead of a space, you voice your problem. For example, “Even though “I have deep depression ", I deeply and completely accept myself." Thus, the setting for the session occurs.

4. Tapping - tapping the meridian points with your fingertips. This is done about 7 times, but, in fact, you start from your inner feelings. Over time, you will feel when you need to move to the next point. By tapping on the dots, you repeat the essence of the problem (preferably out loud). You can quarrel at the same time, you can get angry if the situation annoys you a lot. For example, "I have a headache again" - go to the next point: "I have a headache again", the next point: "this headache just got me", the next point: "why does it hurt all the time, it's just impossible" ... etc. To better understand the essence, watch the videos that are at the end of the article. They are very helpful.

Tap all the time on one side of the face and body. Which one doesn't matter.

Consider the points and the sequence of impact on them.

There are several versions of this technique, several schools. They are equally effective, so you can safely use any of them. A full session includes sequential tapping of the following points:

1. NB= Beginning Eyebrow
2. KG= Edge of the Eye
3. PG= Under Eye
4. PN = Under the nose
5. PB = Chin
6. CL = Beginning of Clavicle
7. RH = Handy
8. BP = Thumb
9. UP \u003d Index Finger
10. SP = Middle Finger
11. MZ = Little finger
12. TK = Karate Point
-. TC = Ligament Point (not numbered in the figure, but shown on the back of the hand 1.27 cm below the middle of the segment between the bones of the ring finger and little finger).

Note that the points are tapped (stimulated) in order from top to bottom. That is, each subsequent point is lower than the previous one. It will be easy to remember. Walk through these points several times and they are yours forever.

5. Working out the connection point. While tapping on the Link Point, the following set of actions is performed (it is not necessary to repeat the problem at this time):

Close eyes
Open eyes
Move your eyes as far to the right as possible
Move your eyes as far to the left as possible
Make a full circle with the eyes in one direction
Make a full circle with the eyes in the opposite direction
"Hum" any melody for a couple of seconds
count to 5
Again, "hum" any melody for a couple of seconds

6. Then repeat the tapping procedure(tapping with the fingertips on the appropriate points) as described in point 4. Together this is called a "ham sandwich" - two tapping procedures are a type of roll, and tapping a link point and doing actions is a type of ham in between. This thing is one "round" or "cycle" of TPP. The whole session of TES consists of these cycles.

7. Take a deep breath and exhale, and evaluate the problem again on a 10-point scale. It may not decrease (rarely) or decrease by 1-2 units, or disappear altogether (it happens). If it didn’t disappear, but decreased (intensity decreased), then continue the whole procedure again from point 3, while in the setup (during setup) we say the following: “Even though I still feel a headache, I deeply and completely I accept myself" or "Even though I still have this problem, I deeply and completely accept myself." That is, now you are already working with the remnants of the problem situation.

8. Again evaluate the condition on a subjective scale. Here all the time there is an assessment in comparison with the initial state. If there are some emotional tails left, some imperfections, something has not been cured, i.e. the state score is non-zero, then it is necessary to repeat the whole cycle, i.e. "sandwich" until there is zero. It is important! It is always necessary to bring the problem to a complete resolution, i.e. down to zero. If you had a fear of rats, then a complete zero would be the ability to pick up a rat and not experience any unpleasant emotions. All this is quite realistically achieved in 10-15 minutes of work on the technique of emotional freedom, by the way.

Aspects of EFT by Masha Bennett (Where to start, how to identify the key issue)

This is the whole session of TES-therapy. It can really be learned in literally 5-10 minutes, you just need to remember the sequence of actions. And for this it is very useful to watch a few videos where the session is being held. It is interesting. As a rule, the session is accompanied by a specialist and it is possible to evaluate what kind of questions he or she asks, how he leads the person to the necessary understanding, and so on.

I would like to add on my own behalf that I have never used a full session, because when I got acquainted with this technique, I had an abbreviated version. It included only points on the face and body, as well as a point on the top of the head. In addition, there was no insertion with a link point. But despite this, the results that I got, stunned me!! With the help of this technique, I easily coped with the strongest negative emotions! It really works and works very well!

Below is a small selection of videos. Read, watch, study the technique in depth, who are interested, and be sure to apply it in your life. She works miracles, and I sincerely wish you more miracles in your life!

Try It on Everything

This will be of interest to you:

- an effective and simple method of relaxation and getting rid of negative feelings and emotions. Mechanism of action. And how I practice it.

For the first time I learned about this effective way of relaxation a couple of years ago. At this time, I went through a difficult period filled with constant stress. Which eventually led me to a real panic attack. At that moment, it seemed to me that my heart would simply stop and I would die. It scared me to such an extent that I decided it was time to end this and look for natural and effective ways to deal with anxiety and panic.

And one of these methods turned out to be the Emotional Freedom Technique, which I practice in especially difficult emotional moments.

I believe that full-fledged health cannot be without a calm mind, and it doesn’t matter how you eat right and what a healthy lifestyle you lead. No wonder there is a saying that all diseases are from nerves. And in our difficult time, life is filled with constant stress, which directly affects our health.

What is the Emotional Freedom Technique?

It is a form of psychological acupuncture based on the same meridians or energy pathways as traditional acupuncture/acupuncture.

Research confirms that the Emotional Freedom Technique induces positive emotions in practitioners and significantly reduces negative ones.

The technique itself is very simple to perform. Our life goes by the motto of "chronic stress". These are material problems, difficult relationships, resentment, work load, anxiety for loved ones, and so on. And trust me, it may seem to you that your body does not react in any way to negative emotions and stress. This is not true! Reacts and how. At the heart of any chronic disease one way or another lie "nerves".

Once you learn how to practice the Emotional Freedom Technique, you can easily teach it to your children. Unfortunately, many children today suffer from feelings of anxiety, problematic behavior, and all this can be dealt with thanks to EFT.

Also, this technique can be used as an additional means of fighting.

How the Emotional Freedom Technique Works

When we tap on special points - meridians, we remind our subconscious that we are in order and nothing threatens us. We must talk to our subconscious, admit to ourselves what exactly worries us and what makes us experience negative emotions.

As you practice EFT, you will begin to realize that you have no emotional attachment to this or that problem and to the source of your anxiety.

How to Practice the Emotional Freedom Technique

There are 4 main parameters that you need to take and write down on paper before starting the practice itself.

And here they are:

  1. WHAT exactly worries you and causes negative emotions in you? And it doesn't really matter when. It could be today, yesterday, tomorrow or a few years ago, or maybe in the distant unknown future.
  2. HOW exactly does the stressor make you feel. You are scared, angry, resentful, frustrated, helpless, and so on.
  3. WHERE do you feel it in your body? Give yourself a moment and listen to your body. For example, I often feel negative emotions in my chest and shoulders. But it could be anywhere.
  4. Assess your stress level. From 0 to 10, where 0 means you are completely calm and 10 means you are having a panic attack.

Very important: to achieve the best results, you need to be as specific and accurate as possible.

Tapping can be done with both hands or one. It should not be aggressive, but rather intense. It is necessary to tap on special points of our body.

Suggest you watch the video how I do it :)

And here is the transcript of my “leaf” or what exactly I say when I tap a certain point:
