Why do people live by feelings. A happy person lives by reason or feeling? What gives us the state of "Here and Now"

How to live by reason or feelings?

Than to live, reason or feelings? There are two poles in this question: reason and feelings. Similarly, two opposites in I. Goncharov's novel "Ordinary History". These are Alexander and Pyotr Ivanovich, feelings and reason.

Using the example of Alexander, we will consider a person who lives only by feelings. Alexander sees the whole world through rose-colored glasses at the beginning of the novel. It seems to him that everyone loves him, and he loves everyone. He believes in love to the grave and eternal friendship. But upon arrival in St. Petersburg, the lenses in his "glasses" crack, and he sees everything in a new, more natural light for that time. At the moment of Alexander's meeting with reality, his dreams and ideas are broken against the "stone wall" of reality and cause him spiritual wounds. The life of a romantic is not sweet, there is more grief in it than happiness. A romantic wants happiness to be his whole life, and behind his continuous dreams he does not see true happiness and cannot rejoice in it. Such people cannot reason soberly, and often because of this, not only they suffer, but also those around them.

Now consider a person who lives only by reason, using the example of Pyotr Ivanovich. The life of such a person is boring and monotonous. He becomes a "machine" that is capable of working for the sake of a place in society and a fortune, but has no soul and feelings. For such a “car”, happiness lies in good condition, and grief in a large monetary loss. These “robots” even go to marriage if the bride is rich and has a position in society. People who surround such a “machine” live very badly, because the machine is not able to sympathize and love, it can only give out “advice”, more precisely, hard, petrified phrases.

It is impossible to live only by feelings or by reason. Those who live with feelings lack sobriety in their actions, they and their life are like a fire that flared up brightly for a second and then irretrievably extinguished. Those who live by reason are like the "Snow Queen", who lives in the ice halls, where everything is dead and cold.

A person must combine both feelings and reason, only then can he truly live fully, creating comfort for himself and for those around him.

“If we assume that human life can be controlled by reason, then the very possibility of life will be destroyed.” (L. Tolstoy)

Throughout a person's life, reason and feeling play an important role. Reason is given so that a person can analyze his actions, control his actions, restrain excessive emotions, and warn a person against rash acts. The mind always weighs everything. And feeling is the highest form of a person's emotional attitude to everything that surrounds him. What is more important for a person: reason or feeling? How should a person live? Guided by the mind or give free rein to your feelings?

The search for answers to these questions occupied the minds of poets and writers. The heroes of many literary works often faced a choice between the command of feeling and the prompting of reason.

Let us turn to the novel by I.S. Turgenev "Fathers and Sons". Bazarov and Odintsova ... Before meeting with Odintsova, Bazarov is a reasonable person, self-confident, proud and purposeful. He is incapable of any feelings. This is superfluous in his life, all this is romanticism. But as soon as Odintsova appears, the hero changes. He can no longer maintain restraint, self-control, and completely, without realizing it, is immersed in a sea of feelings. From the cynicism inherent in him (remember: “she doesn’t look like other women”), there is no trace left. He understands that feelings begin to prevail over the mind. How does Turgenev show this in the novel? Bazarov goes into the forest, stamps his feet, breaks the branches, as if he wants to suppress this feeling of love in himself, which burst out so unexpectedly and inopportunely. He indignantly realizes that he is becoming a romantic. Can he manage himself? Unlikely. He only pushes his feelings deeper. Bazarov runs away from love for his parents. An accidental infection with typhoid leads to his death. Odintsova comes to say goodbye to him. And here the reader sees that Bazarov's feelings nevertheless defeated the mind. Seeing Odintsova, he allows himself to "moisten up". Once Bazarov asked Arkady not to speak beautifully. The metaphor “blow on a dying lamp” clearly indicates that, it turns out, Bazarov also knows how to speak beautifully.

But what about Odintsova? She is devoid of feelings of love, as well as other feelings. In relations with Bazarov, she was most worried about how all this would lead to something. Only reason prevails in her life. And at the end of the novel, we see that Odintsova chooses a quiet lifestyle, she marries again and again without love.

It is impossible not to recall another novel. This is an epic novel by L.N. Tolstoy "War and Peace". I would like to draw attention to the image of Natasha Rostova. Natasha's essence is love. This feeling visits her for the first time at the ball, where she meets Andrei Bolkonsky. But Natasha and Andrei are different people. He lives by reason, and she by feelings. You can’t reunite with Andrei right away - you have to wait a year, as the old man Bolkonsky ordered. Could Natasha subordinate her feelings to reason in this situation? Probably not. She craves love, she wants to be with Andrei. And they tell her to wait. She must love now and be loved, and therefore begins to be attracted to the handsome Anatole Kuragin, and then decides to run away with him. This is where the mind should speak. But no! Natasha listens only to her heart and makes a mistake, for which she paid dearly. I had to curb my feelings, stop. But Natasha is still so young to hear the voice of reason...

So, let's make a conclusion. Reason and feelings go hand in hand. It is impossible to live only by reason, because if a person is guided only by reason, then life will be monotonous, boring, uninteresting. Only feelings can make life meaningful, rich, vibrant.

“Life… Life is so good, so full of charm, something mysterious, alluring, hiding so much in itself.

But was I really wrong in my cherished thoughts, and in warm beliefs in love, in friendship, and in people ... and in myself? What is life? How to live - feeling or reason?

Word of the teacher: Today we will turn to the work of I.A. Goncharov "Ordinary History", written in 1847. We will not only get to know each other and try to analyze this work, but we will also try, each for ourselves, to answer the question that so tormented the protagonist of the novel: How to live - by feeling or by reason?

In the creative heritage of I.A. Goncharov's novels "An Ordinary Story", "Oblomov", "Cliff" occupy the most important place. In them, the writer saw a kind of trilogy.

In your opinion, what unites all three of Goncharov's novels?

  • “I see not three novels, but one. All of them are connected by one common thread, one consistent idea - the transition from one era of Russian life, which I experienced, to another. I.A. Goncharov.
  • The antithesis of “hero-idealist” and “hero-practitioner” in its various variations will become the leading one for the novel world of Goncharov.
  • The writer showed representatives of the patriarchal and bourgeois structures (referring to the scheme).
  • The common theme of all novels is Russia at the turn of two historical eras: the patriarchal serf and the post-reform bourgeois.

Teacher: L.N. Tolstoy advised his contemporaries: “Read this charm. This is where you learn to live. You see different views on life, on love, with which you can not agree with any one, but your own becomes smarter and clearer.

I hope Tolstoy's advice will be useful to us as well.

Belinsky, the frantic Vissarion, considered this novel "a terrible blow to romanticism, daydreaming, sentimentalism, provincialism."

What is your opinion about the novel?

  • The author gives an objective description of the picture of Russian life in a small country estate and in St. Petersburg in the 40s of the XIX century.
  • The dialogues between uncle and nephew are brilliantly written. Uncle confidently breaks his nephew.
  • This is a story about how a cute rural provincial youth turns into a practical person. A naive, pure provincial - an idealist becomes a monster.
  • I liked the look of Lisa. And, in my opinion, it is Lisa who is right, I think that the norm is the heart in harmony with the mind.
  • I think the plot and composition is very simple. Consists of 2 parts with an epilogue. The main character, a young man Alexander Aduev, who lived an idyllic life under the wing of his mother Anna Pavlovna, decides to leave his native Grachi estate. But all his dreams are shattered by the soulless atmosphere of St. Petersburg, where one skill is required from a person - “to love your job more than a person, to calculate and think everything over.”
  • In my opinion, the plot contains the "eternal grain" - the biblical motif of the prodigal son.
  • I believe that the main theme of the work is the theme of love. It contributes to the understanding of the character of the protagonist. Each of the heroines (Sonechka, Nadenka, Yulia, Liza) is given in the perception of Alexander, and when the hero's views on love change, his understanding of the role of women in society also changes. Unfortunately, there is no trace of romantic chanting.

What is the main content of the novel?

  • The dramatic content of the novel is the relationship between the two main characters: nephew and uncle.
  • Between them there is a kind of duel for the right to live life according to their ideals. Each of the characters tries to defend their life principles, while going to extremes.
  • And the ideals of uncle and nephew are directly opposite.
  • The basis of the composition is the antithesis.
  • And in the center of the novel is the conflict of two “philosophies of life”: the philosophy of feeling and the philosophy of mind. The first is represented by the romantic of life - Alexander Aduev, the second - by a businessman, a practical person - Pyotr Aduev.

Teacher: The conflict in the "Ordinary Story" is usually called dialogic. It is generated by the dissimilarity of life philosophy. For Goncharov, the search for harmony is important. So, a young man, full of high and noble, spiritual impulses.

Whom does this literary hero?

  • The image of Aduev is often correlated with the image of Lensky, the hero of the novel "Eugene Onegin". Pushkin, as you know, admitted that his hero could be “hanged like Ryleev,” but another fate could await him: a rebirth from an ardent dreamer into an ordinary landowner.

Teacher: This idea of the poet was developed by V.G. Belinsky, who was sure that Lensky would undoubtedly expect the latter. Goncharov, just, and showed a similar version of rebirth, outlined by Pushkin.

Let's see what our heroes are arguing about, and how they are presented at the beginning of the novel: Dramatization (arrival of A. Aduev to his uncle, first meeting)

Which side are you on: uncle or nephew?

What does Alexander believe in, what is he convinced of? What are its values?

What do you think of your uncle's behavior? Is being a business person the command of the century? What: 19, 20, 21?

(Comparison of heroes, filling in the table - Appendix 1)

Did Alexander change immediately?

  • He accepted the truth of St. Petersburg only after 10 years of living in it.
  • The hero goes through the natural stages of growing up.
  • Disappointments haunt him not only in love, but also in creativity, in the service. In desperation, he comes to a suicide attempt.
  • He even leaves Petersburg for his mother's estate. But the "deceased" life seemed boring, he returns to the capital only for a career. A new Aduev appears with a bald head, with an order around his neck, plumper. He is a major official and the owner of a large fortune.
  • From a romantic, Alexander turned into a skeptic, a cynic, an egoist, disappointed in life and love. This is an active practitioner, for whom everything is determined by calculation.
  • For himself, he discovers ordinary and terrible truths: one must be a businessman. To be a man means deeds and calculations, and the measure of values is money.

Who is to blame for the collapse of Alexander's lofty hopes?

  • Bureaucratic Petersburg.
  • Cynical skeptic uncle.
  • Calculating, cruel age.
  • It's just that the human heart has changed.

For you, an unexpected epilogue or natural?

  • The end of the novel is logical: the former admirer of Schiller has “a bald head, a respectable belly, the beginning of hemorrhoids, an excellent salary and a rich bride.”
  • From the former ideals of Alexander - not a trace, he is even ashamed of them.

Do you think that the type of romance is outdated?

  • Yes, although Aduev's romanticism, his belief in love "forever" and friendship "through the grave of life" - the canvas is not deep. But what is funny, bad about them? Nothing, and even vice versa. From a truly human point of view, these feelings are normal, necessary, and even Aduev himself is protected from vulgarity for several years.
  • But vulgarity wins. The delights of love, the ecstasy of friendship are simply indecent for a court adviser and gentleman.

Dramatization: epilogue scene

Why in the epilogue of the novel by I.A. Goncharov portrayed Aduev - the elder unfortunate, suffering?

For you, the last scene of the hugs of the heroes is a symbol of reconciliation of generations, eras?

Why Ordinary Story? What is her usual?

To what point does the reader lead? Whose side is the author on?

  • The author shows the one-sidedness of the characters' positions, convincing readers of the need for harmony between "mind" and "heart"
  • The writer leads the reader to the idea of the equivalence in human life and mind and ardor of the heart.
  • The heroes have changed not only externally, there has been a metamorphosis, they change places. The impressionable young dreamer is gone, now he is a successful person, and at the end of the novel, Peter Ivanovich needed more heart and feeling than “head” to save his wife.
  • Confessing the philosophy of a sober businessman, the elder Aduev left all this in the past as unnecessary.
  • Works relevant at all times

Teacher: The writer does not pass judgment on any of his heroes, Goncharov never looked like an accuser. Yes, empty daydreaming is naive, but business-like, prudent pragmatism is terrible. Goncharov is sad about the story told, and asks, as Gogol once did, not to forget the wonderful movements of the soul, which are especially characteristic of a person in his youth.

“Take with you on the road, emerging from your soft youthful years into a severe, hardening courage, take with you all human movements, do not leave them on the road, do not raise them later!”

How to live - feeling or reason? There is no direct answer to this question. The reader himself is looking for answers to the questions that life puts before him ...

People are driven by different impulses. Sometimes they are driven by sympathy, a warm attitude, and they forget about the voice of reason. You can divide humanity into two halves. Some people constantly analyze their behavior, they are used to thinking through every step. Such individuals are practically not amenable to deception. However, it is extremely difficult for them to arrange their personal lives. Because from the moment they meet a potential soulmate, they begin to look for benefits and try to derive a formula for perfect compatibility. Therefore, noticing such a mindset, others move away from them.

Others are completely subject to the call of feelings. During love, it is difficult to notice even the most obvious realities. Therefore, they are often deceived and suffer greatly from this.

The complexity of relations between representatives of different sexes is that at different stages of the relationship, men and women use a reasonable approach too much, or vice versa, trust the choice of a course of action to the heart.

The presence of fiery feelings, of course, distinguishes humanity from the animal world, but without iron logic and some calculation it is impossible to build a cloudless future.

There are many examples of people suffering because of their feelings. They are vividly described in Russian and world literature. An example is the work of Leo Tolstoy "Anna Karenina". If the main character had not fallen in love recklessly, but had trusted the voice of reason, she would have remained alive, and the children would not have to experience the death of their mother.

Both reason and feelings must be present in consciousness in approximately equal proportions, then there is a chance for absolute happiness. Therefore, one should not refuse in some situations the wise advice of older and more intelligent mentors and relatives. There is a popular wisdom: "A smart person learns from the mistakes of others, and a fool learns from his own." If you draw the correct conclusion from this expression, you can humble the impulses of your feelings in some cases, which can adversely affect fate.

Although sometimes it is very difficult to make an effort on yourself. Especially if sympathy for a person overwhelms. Some feats and self-sacrifices are made out of great love for faith, country, and one's own duty. If the armies used only cold calculation, they would hardly raise their banners over the conquered heights. It is not known how the Great Patriotic War would have ended if it were not for the love of the Russian people for their land, relatives and friends.

Composition 2 option

Mind or feelings? Or maybe something else? Can reason be combined with feelings? This is the question every person asks himself. When you are faced with two opposites, one side screams, choose the mind, the other screams that you can’t go anywhere without feelings. And you don't know where to go and what to choose.

The mind is a necessary thing in life, thanks to it we can think about the future, make our plans and achieve our goals. Thanks to our mind, we become more successful, but it is the feelings that make people out of us. Feelings are not inherent in everyone and they are different, both positive and negative, but it is they that make us do unimaginable things.

Sometimes, thanks to feelings, people perform such unrealistic actions that it took years to achieve this with the help of reason. So what to choose? Everyone chooses for himself, having chosen the mind, a person will follow one path and, perhaps, be happy, choosing feelings, a completely different road promises a person. No one can predict in advance whether it will be good for him from the chosen path or not, we can draw conclusions only at the end. As to the question whether the mind and the senses can cooperate with each other, I think they can. People can love each other, but understand that in order to create a family, they need money, and for this they need to work or study. Here in this case, the mind and feelings act together.

It seems to me that these two concepts only start working together when you grow up. While a person is small, he has to choose between two paths, it is very difficult for a small person to find points of contact between reason and feeling. Thus, a person always faces a choice, every day he has to fight with it, because sometimes the mind can help in a difficult situation, and sometimes feelings are pulled out of a situation where the mind would be powerless.

Brief essay

Many believe that the mind and feelings are two things that are completely incompatible with each other. But to me, they are two parts of the same whole. There are no feelings without reason and vice versa. Everything we feel, we think about, and sometimes when we think, feelings appear. These are two parts that create an idyll. If at least one of the components is missing, then all actions will be in vain.

For example, when people fall in love, they must turn on their mind, since it is he who can evaluate the whole situation and tell the person whether he made the right choice.

The mind helps not to make a mistake in serious situations, and feelings are sometimes able to intuitively suggest the right path, even if it seems unrealistic. Mastering the two components of one whole is not as easy as it sounds. On the path of life, you will have to face considerable difficulties until you yourself learn to control and find the right facet of these components. Of course, life is not perfect and sometimes it is necessary to turn off one thing.

You can't always balance. Sometimes you need to trust your feelings and make a leap forward, this will be an opportunity to feel life in all its colors, regardless of whether the choice is right or not.

person prone toresentment is inclined to see offenders in everyone:

  • Resentment is a defensive reaction to negative events. It is designed to reduce emotional stress that can harm the brain and internal organs of a person ...
  • Resentment tries to simplify our lives. Why understand the reasons for what is happening, is it not easier to be offended and it will become easier for us ...
  • A strong person responds to an insult with aggression, while a weak person, on the contrary, responds to aggression with an insult ...

The persistent feeling of resentment will force us to look for offenders in order to remind us of our persistence:

  • Try to put yourself in the place of the offender and understand what reasons pushed him to cause you suffering.
  • If we expect something from people, but do not get what we expect, we are offended ...

Resentment with tears says goodbye to tension:

  • Tears color a person only after they have been cried out ...
  • Tears remove from the body energy traces of stress and substances that generate these stresses.
  • Sometimes, in order to forgive, you need to move away from the source of resentment.

If we were offended for a long time, and forgave in one minute, then we are either very capable, or we are deceiving ourselves ...

  • The more a person is dear to us, the more we offend him or take offense at him. The less a person means to us, the less resentment against him. We are not at all offended by inanimate objects that caused us physical pain ...
  • Objects can only bring us physical pain. People are physical and emotional. But if an inanimate object causes us emotional pain, such as if we trip on a step or hit a branch, will we get angry at those objects? If yes, then you should take care of your mental health.

A person should cry not from resentment, but from the fact that this resentment has such great power over him that it can make him cry ...

Exercise to neutralize the emotions of resentment and anger.

Trust paper. Pour out all your pain from resentment and anger on her. Write everything that comes to mind, any thoughts and emotions, do not think and do not argue. Then burn this sheet.

If we have guilt for the negative actions committed in the past and the belief that we have not yet suffered for them, changes are impossible until we deal with this feeling ...

  • Don't look for someone to blame. If you are not to blame, neither is anyone else.

For a woman, the emotion of respect is important; for a man, self-respect.

Being inposition of the victim, a person even asks for approval for his life.

  • If we have the conviction that in this world everyone owes us: God, the universe, those around us, and we deserve more. And if this does not happen, we fall into the position of the victim. There is a feeling of resentment, anger, envy and disappointment ...
  • Being in the position of a victim, a person does everything possible not to be angry with him, but all these attempts of his cause just the opposite effect.
  • Resentment at oneself and at everyone is a basic and constant feeling that is present and makes life unbearable. It leads to loss of vital energy.
  • A person who is in the position of a victim, on a subconscious level, can have a so-called secondary benefit from such a state, which is expressed as follows:
    • To prove to yourself and others that life is unfair and any problem is a confirmation of this.
    • Fear of doing something, making a mistake and then reproaching yourself for it. Therefore, it is better to do nothing than to make a mistake.
    • Attract the attention of those around you.
    • Revenge on any particular person for something. Sometimes this is done on a conscious level, sometimes on an unconscious level.
    • Revenge on oneself for being unworthy of a good life and not being able to achieve it.
    • F the desire to remain in the "position of the child."

Remembering grievances in the past - we will not solve the problem in the present.

Fear from the past attracts doubt from the future:

  • Fear is ignorance and misunderstanding of the laws of the universe...
  • Fear of death is one of the most important reasons hindering human development...
  • Irrational fear is when a person is afraid not of what he knows, but of what he does not know, but what can happen. And the unknown is what scares me the most.
  • It is necessary to learn how to translate fear into mild excitement. Excitement will give you the necessary energy and adrenaline to perform some specific actions and make decisions...
  • Fear is the parent of anger, anxiety, discontent, irritation and greed.
  • In the process of life, 90% of the events associated with our fears and anxieties are groundless. And only 10% have a real basis. Consequently, we often waste our energy on events that may never happen...
  • Fear is a habit of consciousness, strengthened in us as a result of negative events that happened in the past ...
  • If we are afraid of a person because of our complexes and prejudices, we transfer to him part of our negative energy, which can provoke him to a negative action towards us. This process is not controlled, and occurs regardless of our desire and understanding ...

We don’t like that the energy is colorless, and we always try to tint it with our emotions…

  • If we do not want to communicate with a person so as not to tell him trouble, this indicates that we have a certain complex and we only strengthen it with our decision.
  • It is known that trouble does not come alone. The same is true for fears.

The fear of poverty attracts the fear of losing a job, the fear of losing a job attracts the fear of illness, the fear of illness, attracts the fear of hopelessness, the fear of hopelessness attracts the fear of death ...

  • Getting rid of fear, we get rid of many other negative emotions. There are two ways to get rid of fear: the first is psychotherapeutic, the second is spiritual.

An exercise in overcoming customer fears.

Try to stage the situation. Several employees choose for themselves the negative emotions and character traits inherent in "bad customers". Then, for some time they attack the person with questions, claims, emotions. If he is able to withstand at least 15 minutes of continuous assault, his fear of really "bad clients" may disappear. And most often, such clients will no longer come across to him in the future, since we attract what we are afraid of.

Aggression is a reaction to a stressful situation caused by the instinct of self-preservation:

  • Aggression is inherent in each of us. It is not a constant value. Aggression depends on the events taking place in our lives and our reaction to them.

Equality breeds envy - inequality breeds aggression...

  • Aggression arose in antiquity as a defensive reaction to a possible threat. Emotions are ahead of the intellect before a possible threat. Only then does consciousness turn on and analyze the situation. And if there is no danger, emotions are reduced to a normal background. In modern conditions, when all this is no longer so relevant, but the sequence of reactions to a stimulus has remained the same. Our emotions, if they are out of our control due to constant stress, continue to be present even after consciousness determines that the situation is absolutely safe.

To make the truth offensive, it is enough to tell this truth to a person who is not ready to hear it ...

  • Aggression leads to conflicts. She is dangerous with her increased energy and ability to infect others...
  • Aggression appears in teams in a competitive environment ...
  • Crisis and conflicts are a signal that something is going wrong and it is time to reconsider your views and draw conclusions. Perhaps it's time for a change.

A man's anger comes from a lack of confidence, a woman's anger comes from a lack of attention...

  • Who does not know how to be offended, he does not know how to be angry ...
  • Resentment and anger are considered the same feeling, with the only difference being that anger is directed outward, and resentment is directed inward.

Categoricalness, from "desirable and preferable" - makes "necessary and obligatory" ...The recommendation to vent your anger and calm down only partially works. It is necessary to learn how to manage anger, otherwise splashing out anger will become a habit. As often happens, we stop noticing the habit and become unbearable for others. This is how we destroy the energy of the relationship.

An angry woman becomes a man...

To remove anger or irritation, we usually work not with ourselves, but with the cause of anger. But according to the laws of nature, this anger will return to us again and again in different guises, until we deal with it within us or until the anger deals with us.

No one likes to be pressured, even emotions hide in the subconscious when they are trying to suppress ...

Outbursts of anger narrow the field of reason, reduce visual acuity and hearing threshold. But the most important thing is that it reduces the status of a person as a person ...

An unrealizable dream will not cause a desire to fulfill it. And if it still causes - treat yourEGO…

To be offended, you need not a reason, but an internal readiness for offense ...

The false ego identifies itself with the body.

If you want to never be mistaken in anything, "turn on" your egoism. In case of success, he will immediately explain the reason for success, in case of failure, the reason for failure and you, regardless of the result, will always be right.

Helping a person from an ego position is not help, it can be anything, but not help.

A proud person cannot develop. Why develop if he already has something to be proud of ...

  • For every offensive remark, the opponent will find the same, only more offensive ...
  • A proud person often views all the events that happen around him through the prism of their influence on him, although in fact, all these events may have nothing to do with him ...
  • Recognizing oneself as one of many is acceptance, recognizing oneself as chosen from many is pride ...
  • A proud person, denying problems, relies on the nature of his pride, which, however, does not make these problems less significant for him. By themselves, they will not disappear from his life ...
  • Defending itself so as not to be wounded, pride as a shield will always put in front of itself resentment, pain, claims, which a person who considers himself proud will experience ...

Uncertainty is not dangerous until it is formed in the form of a statement: "I can't do it," "I can't do it." Uncertainty embodies, with the help of the subconscious, the meaning inherent in these phrases into reality ...

One of the most dangerous vices is revenge.

Revenge can be everyday, deliberate, symbolic and pedagogical:

  • Household revenge - if you were offended, you can break something, not talk, or vice versa, quarrel with the offender.
  • Deliberate revenge - carefully thought out, implying punishment for committed crimes or misdemeanors. Deliberate revenge is characteristic of vengeful, aggressive people with negative energy - eternally angry and dissatisfied. The extreme form is "blood feud".
  • Symbolic revenge - or, in other words, psychological revenge - is characterized by the fact that innocent people suffer for the insults that were once inflicted on us. Which we choose in life and make them deputies of offenders who once inflicted psychological trauma on us. Although we may not remember it, but on a subconscious level, resentment has been fixed and continues to feed our emotions. The danger of symbolic revenge lies in the fact that we are trying to take revenge and make a person more painful than we ourselves suffered, and in accordance with the law of cause and effect (karma), in the end, revenge will return to us again, in the form of the energy of suffering. This energy will teach us, destroying our physical and mental essence.
  • Pedagogical revenge - in small doses, even useful. More precisely, this is not even revenge, but a justified and deliberate retribution for committed misconduct in order to fix them in the mind of a person, so that in the future he would draw certain conclusions from this.

Depression is a persistent negative association that is overshadowed by memories...

  • When responding to stress, a woman needs to talk and she needs communication. A man to keep quiet and he needs privacy. And accordingly, stress is relieved in women through emotional pronunciation, in men through detached thinking.

A woman's emotion is faster than a man's logic...

  • If a stressful situation arises, it is necessary to accept it, not to resist or ignore it, but to acknowledge that it exists, whether we like it or not. In case of non-acceptance, an internal process called "chewing" (multiple scrolling of the situation in the mind) occurs, which is associated with a large loss of vital energy.
  • One of the signs of impending stress is the feeling that everything is out of control.
  • A person in a state of stress loses the energy field and begins to feed on others. Becomes the so-called "energy vampire". Therefore, next to a person who is in a depressed state, you feel uncomfortable and want to leave the place where he is as soon as possible.

God gave us bright colors of emotions to color our lives, and we mostly use only black and gray colors...

  • To control feelings, you need to be aware of them.
  • If a person does not restrain negative emotions, he harms others, if he restrains them, he harms himself. The only way out in this situation is to deal with the reasons that cause these emotions on a subconscious level and remove them.

Exercise:

  • Step one: learn to evoke emotion. At the beginning, you just feel it, and your task is to bring it from zero to the maximum value in the shortest possible time, in a split second.
  • The second stage: learn to keep it at its maximum value for a long time without dips and hesitation.
  • The third stage: you need to learn how to get out of the emotional state. As a rule, it is more difficult to do this than to enter it. It is necessary to get out of this state completely.

After some training, you will be able to use all the emotion management skills. In the event of its occurrence, you will be able to manage it, reduce its pressure or not manifest it at all.

If we're working with a negative emotion but can't reproduce it, chances are we've already solved the problem with that emotion...

In life, a person makes a choice guided by the prompts of the senses. There is a disease in which there is a violation of some of the functions of feeling. And if this person is offered to choose one of two objects, at his discretion, then this confuses him and he is unable to make this choice.

Unexpected emotions are just waiting for a person to be left alone to immediately keep him company ...
