The manual offered to the reader's attention contains more than 1000 multi-level tasks and exercises on the main topics of the geometry (planimetry) program of grades 7-9, arranged in 3 sets according to ready-made drawings. Grade 7 contains 12 tables, grade 8 - 25, 9-12 tables.
These exercises enable the teacher to solve and repeat a much larger amount of material within a minimum of time, thereby increasing the pace of work in the classroom.
In addition, brief theoretical information on the geometry course of grades 7-9 is given, accompanied by definitions, theorems, basic properties and necessary reference materials. Solutions and instructions are given for the most difficult problems.
The manual is addressed to mathematics teachers, tutors, students - future teachers, students general education schools, lyceums, colleges, as well as graduates to prepare for the GIA and the Unified State Examination.

Four wonderful points of the triangle.
Each triangle has 4 points associated with it:
1) point of intersection of medians;
2) the point of intersection of the bisectors;
3) point of intersection of heights (or their extensions);
4) the point of intersection of the medial perpendiculars to the sides.
These four points are called the remarkable points of the triangle.

The height of a triangle is the length of the perpendicular dropped from any of its vertices to opposite side or its continuation.
AT obtuse triangle(Fig. 29) two heights fall on the extension of the sides and lie outside the triangle, and the third inside.
In an acute triangle (Fig. 30), all three heights lie inside the triangle.
In a right triangle, the legs simultaneously serve as heights (Fig. 31).

Some properties

right triangles

Property 1 0 . Sum sharp corners right triangle is 90 0 .

Property 2 0 . The leg of a right triangle lying opposite an angle of 30 0 equal to half of the hypotenuse.

Property 3 0 . If the leg of a right triangle is half the hypotenuse, then the angle opposite that leg is 30 0 .

Property 4 0 . In a right triangle, the median drawn from the vertex right angle equal to half of the hypotenuse.

Property 5 0 . If the median of a triangle is equal to half of the side to which it is drawn, then this triangle is right-angled.

Lesson Objectives:

  1. To consolidate skills in solving problems on the calculation of the areas of polygons.
  2. Develop the skill of applying the Pythagorean theorem and inverse theorem when solving problems.
  3. Check the level of assimilation of theoretical material on the topic: “Square”.
  4. Develop logical thinking.
  5. Cultivate interest in the subject.

During the classes

I. Verification homework creative character

With a superficial acquaintance with mathematics, it may seem like an incomprehensible labyrinth of formulas, numerical sequences, logical paths. But for those who plunge into it, it opens wonderful world romance and harmony. Only a minute of higher inspiration can explain the appearance of the famous Korshak theorem: “The area of a regular dodecagon inscribed in a circle of unit radius is equal to three.” Or maybe there are future Korshaks among you? Let's check your homework.

II. Organizing time

Teacher:

The topic of our lesson is “Calculating the areas of polygons”. Today in the lesson we will test your knowledge of formulas for calculating the areas of polygons, the ability to apply them in solving various problems.

Each of you has worksheets with tasks, additional cards of a creative nature, a control sheet on the table. After completing each task, the number of correctly solved tasks will be entered in the control sheet.<Приложение1>All tasks will be checked using a computer. Each of you will receive two grades per lesson.

III. Geometric training.

1 task

Teacher:

What part of the area of the figures shown in the figure is shaded? (Each child completes the task in a notebook, comparing the solution of the problem with a specific number)

<Рисунок2>

And now let's check ourselves, and write down the number of correctly solved tasks in the control sheet.
