Game trainings using the method of fairy tale therapy. fairy tale therapy

One has only to pronounce these magical and so familiar words from childhood: “Once upon a time - there were ...” or “In a certain kingdom - in a certain state ...”, as it is clear to anyone and everyone that a fairy tale begins, but it is not yet known which one. What exactly it will be - you decide.

Because you yourself are the storyteller of your life.

Fairy tale therapy is a method in psychology that uses a fairy tale form to solve difficult situations, develop creative abilities, expand consciousness, and improve interaction with the outside world.

Fairy tales for adults are a "connecting bridge" between the conscious world and the level of the unconscious, the process of forming a connection between fairy tale events and behavior in real life.

The value of fairy tales for adults is that they return a person to the original state of a holistic perception of the world. They give the opportunity to dream, activate creative potential, transmit ancient knowledge about the world, about multifaceted human relationships.

Fairy tale therapy as a method of psychotherapy has been known to mankind for thousands of years: using fairy tales, one can become aware of one's own life, unconscious scenarios, plots and patterns. Through fairy-tale perception and symbolism, one can not only conduct therapy, but also correct life stories that already take place in real life.

Working with a fairy tale, we ourselves can regulate the "depth of immersion" in our life scenario, problem situations and their elaboration.

In fairy tale therapy there is no such resistance to change as in other methods, because We work in the fabulous language of metaphors.

The therapeutic goal of this training is to create in your real life that fairy tale, that new scenario of life in which you would like to live.

The educational goal of this program: the training will also be useful for psychologists, psychotherapists, healers, people of helping professions in order to understand the basics of the fairy tale therapy method and use it in their work.

You will see the effectiveness of the method in working with various topics.

Teaching the specific practical foundations of the fairy tale therapy method in working with adults and children both in the format of group work and individually using the example of working with group members.

In a programme:

We meet with your fairy tale in which you live, with your life scenario. We study the basic plot, the main characters of your fairy tale, the problematic field.

We think over the plot of your ideal fairy tale, aimed at the realization of your life goals or at solving your current life situation.

In meditation, we either change the scenario of your fairy tale, or look for resources in it to achieve your goals.

We come up with a magical fairy tale ritual for the realization of your new fairy tale.

We get acquainted with the method of fairy tale therapy, study its features and possibilities both in the format of group work and individually.

The program is held in our center every six months.

(Dead water and living water in psychotherapy)

Fairy tale metaphors and deep symbols are very similar to those symbols and metaphors used by modern psychotherapy.

Let's take the well-known image of "dead water" and "living water" and compare it with the terminology and techniques, at least NLP.

What is "dead water" in fairy tales? That which neutralizes everything that hinders the development and happiness of a person.

He sprinkled dead water on the wounds - and the wounds healed.

What is "living water" in fairy tales? That which gives new strength for healing, fusion, creation...

"Dead water" and "living water" can be compared to the technique of dissociation and association in NLP.

Dissociation in NLP is “dead water”, it is a technique that makes the picture of a situation dim, distant, black and white, tiny and allows us, as a participant in events (meaning negative ones), to get out of this picture and become an outside indifferent observer. Doesn't it look like dead water?

The association in NLP is “living water”, on the contrary, the inclusion of bright colors in the picture, turning on the sound and smell at full “loudness”, bringing the picture closer to our very eyes, allowing us to jump into it entirely - is meant to be a good picture. What is not living water, reviving a dull frame?

The following training game on art therapy and fairy tale therapy is based on the observation that almost all fabulous images of antiquity can be applied as psychotherapy techniques.

As its name suggests, it combines art therapy and fairy tale therapy.

Training can be done with both children and adults. So let's get started?

The first stage of training in art therapy and fairy tale therapy. Creating drawings on the topic ...

Have your group members create drawings of their negative experiences. To make negative experiences easier to isolate and understand from the stream of confused claims to the world, suggest the following topics:

  1. What prevents me from being calm and balanced.
  2. What prevents me from being happy.
  3. What I need to remove from my life.
  4. My chains and weights.
  5. My vicious circle.

Warn your participants in the art therapy and fairy tale therapy training that these drawings will be burned and then poured over with “dead water”. Therefore, the problem that they draw should be drawn in such a way that later it would not be painfully scary for the procedure done.

So, if a person is made unhappy by his weight and volume, then you should not draw a caricature image of YOURSELF on the scales in front of a mirror with a centimeter tape in your hand. After all, you will burn it and water it with dead water!

And if your “vicious circle” is naughty children and a gluttonous husband, again, you should not draw a caricature of your husband and unpleasant children - I remind you that we will also burn it.

Do you want to burn your husband and children even as part of an art therapy training?

I think no. And if - no, then think collectively - HOW to metaphorically portray exactly the PROBLEM, separated from specific people, so that it was possible to burn - only the PROBLEM ... It's not a pity ... It's something that needs to be burned.

Group discussion and creativity usually takes from 15 minutes (for advanced seminarians) to 40 minutes of a standard academic hour.

The second stage of the training on art therapy and fairy tale therapy. Fire and Water

Now you, as the Host, are starting a fairy tale therapy show. Stock up on the necessary tools, music appropriate to the moment, and possibly a video sequence on the projector screen ...

Of the essentials: A large refractory vase in which you will betray the drawings of the auto-da-fé - burning.

Two bottles - one with "dead water", the second - with living water. To make these two flasks DIFFERENT and artistically convincing, you need to use your imagination.

Make a fire in your fireproof vase and offer (in a sepulchral voice) to crumple up your drawings (what prevents you from living happily) and put THIS on fire.

All this can be done on the street, making a fire. However, for the third stage you will need ash, so how to make a fire is up to you.

After all the drawings burn to ashes, the fire is filled with dead water, which, according to the fairy tale of your training, completely neutralizes evil, makes the ashes safe.

The third stage of the training on art therapy and fairy tale therapy. Earth and water

The facilitator continues to tell the "fairy tale" of his seminar.

“What once until recently was the essence of our misfortunes and sufferings has been reduced to neutral ashes. It can become a metaphor for our life experience...

And experience, especially a well-thought-out experience (and while the seminarians drew the CORRECT drawing, they comprehended the experience) can serve as soil, fertilizer for the growth of the new, fresh, young, beautiful and unexpected - the desired.

So go ahead! We fertilize our ideas and undertakings.

At this stage, from the essential props you will need: pots of earth and seeds of any plant that you deem appropriate.

If the time of the training is spring or early autumn, then the final part can be carried out outside the home - in a flower bed, in the garden.

Just remember that children, unlike adults, will not tolerate throwing a planted seed to the mercy of fate. They take everything literally and very seriously.

Therefore, if many adults can be allowed to plant at least a “cherry from compote” and they will not be upset, then when working with people who are sensitive to the truth of a fairy tale, it is better to take care of real seeds and real tiny pots of earth. Plant an unpretentious plant that is guaranteed to be accepted and can even be transplanted somewhere else.

Bury some ashes from previous work into the ground, plant seeds and pour a few drops of “living water” on them.

Training in art therapy and fairy tale therapy is over!

This dramatized ancient MYTH will allow your seminarians to really live the situation of liberation from evil and the situation of the creation of Good at a deep psychodramatic level.

Music therapy exercises

"Escape Sound"

A bell or any other musical instrument with a sound that fades out gradually is used. The adult asks the child to listen to the bell until the sound stops completely.

"Crystal Water"

Children are invited to sit down, imagine that they are collecting a handful of water from a stream, raise their hands up and pour over themselves, often jumping up and down in one place and making the sound “and-and-and…” for as long as they can. Then freeze and listen to the sound of a musical instrument, such as a bell, until the sound fades.

"Improvisation on musical instruments"

The child is offered to show how he will beat the drum if he is sad, happy, etc. You can use other simple tools.

"Melodization of calls"

The child is asked to sing emotionally charged calls with different intonations. For example, “Forward, friends!”, “Oh, how sad I am ...”, “What luck, what joy ...”, etc., they sing at a note and height that is convenient for them.

"Toning"

Children are invited to sing sounds:

- “mmm” relieves stress and promotes relaxation,

- “ah-ah-ah” immediately causes relaxation,

- "i-i-i" - "sonic caffeine", in 3-5 minutes stimulates the brain, increases the activity of the body,

- “oh-oh-oh” means of instant adjustment of the body.

"Conductor"

The child is offered to conduct the sounding music.

"Make a portrait"

The child is offered to make a portrait of a friend, mother, etc. with the help of rhythm. Everything from which sound can be extracted is used.

Isotherapy exercises

"Artists - naturalists"

It is necessary to prepare a large sheet of paper or wallpaper, saucers with liquid paints. An adult, together with a child (children), draws on a given plot, which they come up with together (“Leaves are falling”, “Traces of unknown animals”, “Fantastic planet”, “Colorful mosaic”), not with brushes, but with fingers, palms, feet, elbows, cheeks, nose. After the exercise, in the process of washing, they recall the feeling of freedom and joy, the emancipation that the child and the adult felt together.

"Gems"

The wet sheet of paper is the treasure chest. All of them have their own unique color. Children try all kinds of combinations of three colors, different brightness and saturation of colorful mixtures: they fill the chest with gems, putting multi-colored dots.

"Wonder - drawing"

The child is offered to draw something (portrait of mother, city, animal, little men) from different colors (vegetables, birds, etc.).

"blots"

Fold a small sheet of paper in half. On one half of the sheet, the child makes a blot. Then the sheet is folded over. The other side is imprinted. Give the image a title. You can write a story.

"Your world in colors, shapes and lines"

Children are asked to draw their world on paper using only lines (straight and curved, wide and thin, multicolored) and shapes, nothing concrete. Drawing takes place to the music, which is selected in accordance with the characteristics of the children's audience (soothing, stabilizing, activating).

"Colourful Water"

The child is offered to color the water in small jars: to make angry, kind, cheerful water, etc. An adult shows how different shades can be obtained using paint of the same color and how the “mood of the water” will change.

Fairy tale therapy exercises

"Tale in reverse"

A fairy tale known to children is played out (told) first with the usual images of fairy-tale heroes, and then the character traits of fairy-tale heroes change to the opposite

"Meeting of Fairytale Heroes"

An adult selects for each child a fairy-tale character who has opposite personality traits, for example, a child with low self-esteem is given the role of a hero (Ilya Muromets, Ivan the Tsarevich). The host gives each child five lives, which they lose if they change the behavior of their heroes . Children sit in a circle and open the meeting of fairy-tale characters. They can choose their own topic of conversation. Children come up with a fairy tale for their heroes and act it out. At the end of the exercise, there is a discussion of their feelings in the new role.

"A fairy tale in a circle"

Children choose the main theme of their fairy tale. Then they sit in a circle and take turns, holding a magic wand in their hands, "compose a fairy tale. The first child begins by saying the first sentence, the second continues, and so on. At the end of the exercise, a discussion is held: what the children felt, what they did, if they wanted to correct another child, etc.

"Make up a story"

The child is offered to come up with a fairy tale about a person whose name is the same as him, based on the meaning and sound of the name. For example, Marina is a sea, a fairy tale about a girl who lives in the sea.

"Story"

Together with the child, the plot of the fairy tale is played out. The tale is chosen so that the characters in it speak in different voices, for example, "Three Bears". The child must try to play all the roles during one exercise ..

Dance Therapy Exercises

"Harmonic Dance"

Children are divided into pairs. One child in a pair closes his eyes or puts on a bandage - a follower. The other - the leader - stands opposite the first. Children in a pair touch each other with their palms. Smooth music sounds. The leader makes smooth movements with his hands, body, crouches, moves slightly to the side, forward, backward, without separating his hands. The task of the follower is to follow the hands of the leader and repeat his movements. Changing roles is not allowed: the follower should not lead the leader. You can allow the follower to perform the exercise first with their eyes open.

"Masks" for children from 6 years old

Scary masks are drawn on paper. Each participant chooses any for himself, dances wild dances. You can run around chasing each other. Then comes the ritual of removing the masks. Everyone joins hands, smiles at each other, you can dance smoothly.

« Water Carnival»

The host offers to visit the holiday at the sea king. Everyone turns into fish, seahorses, starfish, mermaids, shells, crabs, etc. of your choice. Smooth music sounds - marine life, lying on the floor or standing, begin their carnival. The sea king praises each participant.

Similarly, the Air Ball exercises are carried out, when children become birds, butterflies, grasshoppers, and the Grasshopper Disco. Only the nature of the music changes.

"Dance of Fire"

The dancers squeeze tightly into a circle, raise their hands up and gradually lower and raise their hands to the beat of vigorous music, depicting flames. The fire sways rhythmically in one direction or another, it gets higher (they dance on tiptoe), then lower (squat and sway). A strong wind blows, and the fire breaks up into small sparks that fly freely, spin, connect with each other (hold hands) two, three, four together. Sparks glow with joy and kindness.

Movement therapy exercises

"The Dragon"

The players stand in a line, holding on to their shoulders. The first participant is “Gorlova”, the last one is the “tail”. The "head" should reach out to the tail and touch it. The "body" of the dragon is inseparable. Once the "head" has grabbed the "tail", it becomes the "tail"

"Caterpillar"

The players squat one after another and tightly wrap their neighbor around the waist in front. The first player is the “head” of the caterpillar. It determines the trajectory of movement. The task of other children is to move behind the "head" and at the same time keep the whole caterpillar.

"Chefs"

All children stand in a circle - this is a pan. They choose what they will cook: soup, compote, vinaigrette, etc. Each of the players comes up with what product he will be and loudly calls himself. The host calls out in turn what he wants to put in the pan. A child who recognizes himself jumps into the circle. The next player, jumping, takes the hands of the previous one. The game continues until all the components of the dish are in the circle.

"Good Animal"

Participants stand in a circle and hold hands. The facilitator says in a quiet voice: “We are one big kind animal. Let's hear how it breathes! Everyone listens to their own breathing and the breathing of their neighbors. “Now let’s breathe together. Inhale - everyone takes a step forward. Exit - everyone takes a step back. Inhale - everyone takes two steps forward. Exit - everyone takes 2 steps back. The children are doing the exercise. “So not only does the animal breathe, its big kind heart beats just as clearly and evenly. A knock is a step forward, a knock is a step back, etc. We all take the breath and the beating of the heart of this animal for ourselves.”

Target: awareness of teachers of their individuality, the transformation of their personal world, the acquisition of new life experience, to help the participants of the training in developing skills of self-knowledge and competence in communication by means of fairy tale therapy, the creation of a benevolent, trusting atmosphere in the group. Members: kindergarten teachers.

Time spending: 1.4 hours.

The structure of fairy tale therapy training:

Introductory part (warm-up): acquaintance, introduction of work rules, 1-2 warm-up exercises.

The main part (working), during which the leader monitors group dynamics. Pays attention to the study of aggression and internal conflicts. Fairy tales, games, works are discussed and analyzed by the participants of the training.

Completion: it is important for the participants to respond to the accumulated, but unexpressed feelings, to tune in to ordinary things. Everyone needs to sum up and evaluate their experience gained as a result of group sessions.

Methods used in the program of this training: reading a fairy tale, analysis, drawing and writing - an addition, depicting a person's feelings on paper, psychological games, exercises.

Course of the training:

Greetings

The facilitator of the training welcomes all participants of the training. He invites teachers to write their name on a small sheet, as they would like to be called at the training, and attach it with a pin on their chest. Then, standing in a circle, the training participants take turns pronouncing their names, accompanying them with a characteristic gesture, a certain movement. Everyone else repeats the heard name and gesture of each introduced member of the group.

Introduction

The group adopts the rules of work at the training.

Rules:

Privacy rule. Everything that is said in the group regarding the members must remain within the group. This is a natural ethical requirement, which is a condition for creating an atmosphere of psychological security and self-disclosure. But specific techniques, knowledge, techniques can and should be used outside the group in professional activities, in everyday life.

The here and now rule. It is important to understand the processes, thoughts and feelings that arise in the group at the moment. In this way, participants are trained to focus on themselves and what is happening around them at the present time. The way a person manifests himself “here and now” shows how he behaves “through life”. And it is worth paying attention to the participants of the training.

The rule of sincerity and openness. It is necessary to ensure that the members of the group are not hypocritical and do not lie. A sign of a strong and healthy personality is a certain openness to others about their feelings about what is happening. This is the basis of effective interpersonal interaction. Naturally, at the beginning of the work of the group, this is impossible to achieve. It is not always necessary to achieve full disclosure of the group members, because they have to continue to work together. But each of them should feel protected and have the right to open up to the extent that he considers necessary for this moment.

Rule "I am a statement". In a group, it is forbidden to use reasoning like: “Everyone has such an opinion ...”, “We believe ...”, etc. These statements shift the responsibility for the feelings and thoughts of a particular person to a non-existent "we". All statements must be built using "I". Thus, we teach a person to take responsibility and accept himself as he is.

activity rule. There should be no passive observers in the group. All participants are included in the exercise. If they refuse to participate, consider discussing their motivations for attending the training.

The rules have been accepted. Thank you. Each participant must adhere to them.

Game "Extra chair"

The goal of the game is setting the group for easy and frank communication, creating a fabulous atmosphere.

The group sits in a circle. The host gets up, removes the chair on which he was sitting, and explains the conditions of the game: everyone to whom the stated assumption applies changes places. The one who did not get a place becomes the leader and gets the opportunity to offer the group the following condition. The host can start with such sentences that obviously leave everyone in their places, for example:

Now those who always follow the rules will change places.

- ... those who always listen to the radio.

You can give tasks that are compatible with the theme of the fairy tale, for example:

Those who believe that miracles are found not only in fairy tales will change places.

Main part.

1. The game "Asterisks"

Purpose of the game : search and discussion of forms of achieving mutual understanding.

Move: the host prepares for the game "stars" - stickers. Then he asks the participants to close their eyes and sticks them on the participants' foreheads. Asterisks either have a different color (only 5-6 colors), or differ in shape. Participants receive a task: without saying a word, find those who have the same "asterisks". The facilitator looks at what methods the training participants use to find "their own kind", not knowing who you are.

Discussion helps to actualize the problem of establishing contacts, maintaining mutual understanding.

2. Acquaintance with the fairy tale "Man"

There lived a man. He grew up, ate, drank. Walked and talked. As everybody. He had a job, a home. Family. Just like others. At times he rested: watched TV, went to visit. Attended social events and had fun. In general, like everyone else. At times he was sad, at times he was annoyed, but this, of course, passed, and he again continued to live his usual life: work - home - work - home ... Like everyone else.

But one day the man stopped, looked up and saw the sky. He looked closely and noticed that it changed every minute, never being the same. The man listened and heard the birds singing. How beautifully they sang! He looked around and noticed the extraordinary richness of colors that flowers and trees gave to the world. Children were playing and laughing. Their sonorous voices seemed to say: we know how to live!

And the man did what he had never done before. He took a sheet of paper and imprinted on it his feelings, born suddenly. Thus, another Creator appeared on Earth.

Questions when analyzing a fairy tale:

  1. What is this tale about?
  2. How did man live for a very long time?
  3. What event changed it?
  4. Draw and describe the feelings that the person depicted on a piece of paper.

3. Exercise "New look"

Target: participants experience new experiences, awareness of their own values, development of observation and awakening of creative imagination.

The facilitator addresses the group: “We do a lot in our lives automatically: we get up in the morning, eat, work, watch TV, go to bed. Life becomes familiar and monotonous. Today I invite you to go on a journey and gain a new experience that will help you see something unexpected and very valuable in the reality around you. Take with you on the road those qualities that help you in life.

The group members write down on paper for five minutes the necessary qualities that will be useful to them on the road.

Then the facilitator says: “Which will your road be - wide or narrow, easy or difficult? In order to overcome all obstacles and, having reached the goal, to find something of value, you will need not only courage and strength, but also the wisdom of imagination. Now I invite you to go on a journey and find out what simple flowers and trees, people and houses, clouds and various objects want to tell you. Pay attention to your feelings, try to perceive everything new more deeply.

Once the members are ready, they disperse in different directions and do not speak to each other from that point on.

After 30 minutes, the participants return to the group, and the leader tells them: “A person develops only when he creates, creates. You have gone part of the way - small, but enough to feel like a creative person. Show your creativity on paper and tell or show what gift you received today, what discovery did you make for yourself?

Participants find a comfortable place for themselves and write down, sketch or make a collage of their impressions. As soon as they are ready, teachers tell each other about their experience.

Completion

Game "Gift"

Target: symbolic end of the lesson. Reacting to the accumulated, but unexpressed feelings and emotions, the mood for ordinary things.

Participants stand in a circle. The facilitator gives them the following instruction: “Now we will make gifts to each other. Starting with the leader, each in turn depicts an object using pantomime and passes it to his neighbor on the right (ice cream, hedgehog, weight, flower, etc.) ”

The group members share their impressions about the training: what they liked and what they didn't, what conclusion they made for themselves.

Fairy ritual. All members of the group say in chorus "Goodbye fairy tale"

Thank you all for your hard work!

Starting from the age of 5, the child identifies himself mainly with human characters: Princes, Princesses, Soldiers, etc. The older the child becomes, the more he enjoys reading stories and stories about people because these stories contain story about how a person understands the world. From about 5-6 years old, the child prefers magical fairy tales.

For example, fairy tale about clock.

“Once upon a time, in a distant country, there lived one watchmaker master. He made many watches in his life. But the ones he liked the most, he kept for himself. And now the whole family settled in his house hours: Pendulum, cuckoo clock and small (small) Alarm (alarm clocks) (list your family members). The pendulum was the most important, of course, because it was used to check the time of watchmaking master. The pendulum was always in a hurry to get to work, he had to count seconds, minutes, hours. The cuckoo clock was also often busy - after all, the cuckoo had to urgently convey all the latest news to other cuckoos, from other houses, and also monitor the house. And by the way, no one freed her from work - to count the time.

And the little Alarm Clock was sometimes bored and even sad. Why do you think the little alarm clock was sometimes even sad?. One day."

What happened story? Did the Alarm Clock do something destructive to distract the Pendulum and the Cuckoo Clock from their business and worries? Did the plot take a different direction? Well, it’s good, it means that the baby has no special problems with a lack of attention.

The main practical part.

presenter: Today I want to start our meeting with the fact that each participant in a circle will call his name, and then some fabulous hero with the first letter of his name.

Probably there is no person who would not love fairy tales.

And who else, no matter how we, by the nature of our profession, live next to fairy tale! Now I invite you to remember that fairy tale that you really liked as a child, and take turns presenting your fairy tale. Why did you love her (or why did you love her, what do you remember most about her?

(Participants in a circle for 2-3 minutes each present their favorite fairy tales.)

"Travel" (meditation)

Before reading fairy tales soothing music recording starts.

presenter: Now close your eyes. Imagine that you are on a journey. You have traveled to many countries, met different people.

And then one day you were driving through a field. Butterflies and dragonflies were flying around. Bees buzzed - they collected honey. Birds sang - they were glad that you were going through their field. It smelled of flowers and fresh strawberries. And on the hill you saw the Beautiful Palace. Something inside prompted that it is very important for you to go there. And you headed down the road leading to the Palace.

When you entered the Palace, you were amazed by its beauty. Everything here was comfortable and beautiful. As if someone built this Palace especially for you. And you realized that in this Palace you will find something very important for yourself. You walked around the Palace with your light and confident gait.

Imagine that you are walking along it and find for yourself what you want.

All that you have found for yourself in this Beautiful Palace remains with you, and you will take it with you when you return. Now you take a deep breath in and out. Take with you all the good things that were with you. And slowly opening your eyes, come back to us.

"Creation Fairyland» (collage)

presenter: Now I suggest that you take all the good things that you acquired during your trip and create our common Fairyland. All the magical materials you need can be found here on the table."

The group is offered, using clippings from magazines, colored paper, plasticine, paints, markers, pencils and other materials, create a collage « Dreamland» . Participants are given 30 minutes to create a collage.

presenter: What a wonderful country you have! Each of you contributed to its creation a piece of your warmth, your soul. Now let's think of a name for our Fairyland. To do this, add up the initial letters of your names and create one new name. This will be the name of our Fairyland.
