The beginning of service upon admission to a military school. Features of admission to military schools

Military universities traditionally stand apart in a number of higher educational institutions: special conditions for admission, strict discipline and subordination, a specific regime ...

The vast majority of civilian universities in Russia are subordinate to the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, while the military ones are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense, which establishes and regulates rules and procedures for them. In addition, all military universities are divided according to the types of troops: universities of missile forces, ground forces, air forces, etc.

If you decide to enter a military university, be prepared for the fact that at all stages of the journey, from submitting documents to receiving the coveted "crust", you have to communicate with people in uniform. Therefore, when collecting information about a military university, one should not be guided by general civil rules and guidelines. For example, the rules for admission to military universities practically do not take into account the innovations of recent years: while most applicants "in civilian life" take entrance exams in the form of tests, applicants for military universities write dictations and tests in the old fashioned way. The same can be said about the Unified State Examination: being outside the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, military leaders have the right to consider the Regulations on the conduct of a unified state exam as information for reflection, but not as a direct guide to action.

Universities with a broad profile

The set of specialties in which modern military universities are trained is quite extensive. The specialization of the university mainly depends on the profile, or rather, on the type of troops to which the educational institution belongs. At the same time, many military universities duplicate civilian areas of training, and more and more often in their "assortment" there are familiar economic and legal specialties. Thus, the Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation trains sociologists, lawyers, managers of social and cultural activities, translators and social work specialists.

Some of the specialties offered by the universities of the Ministry of Defense are multifunctional - graduates are equally in demand both in "military field conditions" and "in civilian life." First of all, this concerns the engineering and technical direction. For example, from the walls of the Military Technical University of the Federal Service for Special Construction of the Russian Federation, engineers of lifting and transport, road, construction machines and equipment, specialists in industrial and civil construction, in the design of roads, airfields, transport tunnels, etc.

Finally, a certain part of the military professions lies in a highly specific field of application, which has no analogues in civilian life. For example, after graduating from the Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, one can become a specialist in mathematical support for research on weapons, equipment and the use of civil protection forces.

Autograph for the military commissar

To apply to a military university, the applicant will have to go to the military registration and enlistment office (at the place of residence).

You must have with you:

  • passport;
  • a copy of the document on secondary education (secondary school students provide a certificate of current performance);
  • three photographs (without headgear, size 4.5x6 cm);
  • characteristics from the place of study or work;
  • autobiography.

In the military registration and enlistment office, the applicant writes an application with a request for admission to exams to the chosen university. All this must be done before April 20 of this year.

After the primary documents have been submitted, it remains to pass a medical examination, and yesterday's student becomes a candidate for study at a military university. Applications are considered by the admission committee of the university, and the final decision on admission to exams (or refusal to do so) is communicated to candidates through the military enlistment office by June 20.

The procedure for submitting documents is somewhat different for those who are currently serving in the Armed Forces: in this case, the applicant submits a report addressed to his immediate commander by April 1 of the current year, and he, having provided the petition with all the necessary papers, passes it on to the authority .

Another feature of entering military universities is that there are quite strict age restrictions. Young people who have not served in the army can become cadets from 16 to 22 years old, having "experience" of army service - up to 24 (age is determined at the time of application).

Fell - wrung out

Entrance tests to military universities are held from July 1 to July 20, and they also differ somewhat from "civilian" ones. To pass the competitive selection, knowledge of the Pythagorean theorem and the gimlet rule will not be enough.

The first stage is a psychological and psychophysical examination of candidates. Then - a test of physical fitness: pull-ups on the crossbar (11 times - "excellent", 9 - "good", 7 - "satisfactory"), hundred meters, 3 km run. And, finally, the actual exams in general education disciplines. They, as a rule, consist of mathematics (major subject) and dictation in the Russian language. The third exam (physics, chemistry, history) depends on the profile of the chosen educational institution.

The average competition for military universities is 2.5-3 people per place. However, these figures (not too high for Moscow) speak, rather, not about the ease of admission, but about its specifics. On the one hand, there are really few people who want to get a military education, on the other hand, not every civilian with average training is able to go through all the "military tricks" associated with admission (questionnaire - checking the psycho-emotional state - physical fitness - general education base).

The system of benefits provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation for applicants to higher educational institutions also applies to military universities: orphans, medalists, winners of olympiads, etc. have various privileges. Disabled people are an exception from this list for obvious reasons.

I would go to field marshals ...
Graduates leave the walls of the alma mater with the rank of lieutenant. All newly-made commanders are waiting for distribution: at least five years after graduation from a military university, yesterday's cadet must devote to the Fatherland. The further fate of the graduate will depend both on the type of troops and the place of service, as well as on personal qualities and ambitions. It is enough to look at the political and administrative elite of our country to understand that graduates of military universities can make a brilliant career and achieve impressive success. For officers who want to reach a high position, there are universities that provide a second military education, postgraduate courses, specialized advanced training institutes, etc.

Cadet or student?

When all the tests are passed, the candidate turns into a cadet. This status corresponds to the status of a student of a civil university, however, there are more differences between a cadet and a student than common features. If with the beginning of the student life, young people have the most fun and carefree time, then with the beginning of their studies at a military university, this very time ends. Routine, schedule and subordination become a fundamental element in the life of all future officers.

Cadets are removed from military registration (they are not subject to general conscription) and put on a special account - they are enrolled in active military service. For the first two years they (regardless of the need for government housing) live in the barracks and, in addition to training, perform duties that are traditionally included in the concept of military service. From the third year, you can move to a hostel or live at home.

All types of allowances are issued for the cadet, he is given uniforms. Holidays last two weeks in winter and a month in summer. In fact, studying at a military university is equivalent to military service.

Sergei Litvinov, a graduate of a military university:

The lack of hazing is more than compensated for by tough discipline, exhausting physical exertion, and in the first and second years - also by a variety of chores. Get ready to learn how to hold a jackhammer in your hands, lay asphalt, do all kinds of repairs of premises and furniture, in the fall - harvesting in the fields near Moscow, in winter - endless clearing of roads from snow and many other useful things.

You will be taught how to shoot, control military equipment, perform drills and carefully take care of military uniforms. In parallel, it will be necessary to learn military regulations and, of course, all disciplines of the specialty. You will have to study at full strength, often at night, as very serious disciplinary sanctions are imposed for poor progress.

Until recently, such a tight schedule was indispensable for anyone who dreamed of studying at a military university. Today, along with the harsh tradition, there is also a softer regime - for those who enter on a paid basis. (The first experiment on the recruitment of "payers" was held at the Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in 2003). Such cadets are relieved of the need to bear the hardships and hardships of military service: their life differs little from the life of ordinary civilian students.

My younger one is studying at the Academy of Mathematical Support in St. Petersburg, and we ourselves are from Krasnodar. Nothing came he did, he says he likes everything. It is not easy to study, but he does not play the fool like in ordinary universities. Now he has grown up, he has become a man! I want to thank his commanders for their care and upbringing!

A friend studies and serves at the academy. He really likes it, he says this is the very place where you will become a man and a good friend. Good specialist teachers, there is not a single free minute (in a good way). He really likes everything! I am proud that my best friend is Mikhailovets!!!

Since they’re talking about non-meds here, I’ll tell you about my cursed physic.

In the first year, the test session actually began on the 10th of December, the last exam in December was on the 29th (written mathematics, or something), and on January 5th there was already oral mathematics. Well, yes, it was the first session, everything was true again, incomprehensibly, and in general :)
And in the second year, we took one subject on the 31st until about 7 pm. But there the teacher is so ... special.

In general, it is better not to risk it.

I don't have honey, but I think everyone's schedule is about the same. Holidays were in February. On New Year's holidays, they rested, but immediately after them, exams began. They still need to be prepared.
In general, when I studied, it was about the same alignment. So you are going to rest at the peak for students. Especially the first session. And I don’t remember that it was the first one that someone passed ahead of schedule, I have experience of early delivery in older courses, it’s hard.

Thank you! ;)
We'll keep thinking. One thing is clear - in any case, you need a lot of time and money ...

I myself have a second higher education, received at the age of 29. All sorts of people studied in our group, some of whom have student children. So age is not a problem if the head cooks (of course, memory at 35 is not the same as at 22, but there is some life experience that compensates for possible non-remembering). I think this is the main pitfall. Education at this age should be received if it is really necessary (ie, I mean the knowledge that we call education). Those. if a person works and feels that he lacks this very knowledge. And in this case, there are no extra hours. It happens that it is not enough. And if only a crust is needed - why is it for a person with rich life and work experience?
The second pitfall is that you cannot get a good (and for the sake of the bad, why bother so much?) education in 2 years (especially by mail), especially if this education is the first. There are no magic places. That is, it is necessary to put 4-5 years. This is for sure, I know from my own experience - I tried to study at a "fast" institute - this is a hack, nonsense for stupid children of rich parents who are too lazy to go to school for another 5 years, or for those who are looking for easy ways and quick "crusts" (sorry, if anyone thinks that this is by no means the case, maybe I just came across such an institute). As a result, I entered the evening paid at the Moscow State Law Academy, studied there for 4 years, and now I have a normal diploma, the same as all full-time graduates have.

Military schools have always stood apart from other educational institutions. It is not easy to get into such an educational institution. Admission to such a school is associated with a number of conditions and requirements that are mandatory for the applicant - exams, physical and psychological tests, and standards.

Types of military schools of the Russian Federation

At present, there are two types of professional military education in Russia - basic and higher. The first category includes:

  • cadet school;
  • Suvorov School;
  • nakhimov school.

Cadet, Suvorov and Nakhimov schools accept male citizens under the age of 18.

The term of study at the school is from 2 to 4 years.

The second type of professional military educational institutions includes:

  • higher command school;
  • academy;
  • institutions.

The term of study in a higher military school is from 2 to 3 years.

Each of these types of educational institutions has its own profile specifics and professional orientation:

  • marine;
  • ground troops;
  • rocket troops;
  • airborne troops;
  • railway troops;
  • Cossack;
  • military-technical;
  • military musical;
  • military justice.

The main feature of such educational institutions is the combination of theory and practice in the learning process. Such a universal system of mastering the military craft allows you to perfectly master the art of war and educate the elite command staff of the country's armed forces.

Requirements for candidates

Before you enter, you must familiarize yourself with the selection rules existing in the educational institution. And they are diametrically different from the requirements of other educational institutions for their applicants. Thus, the recruitment of applicants for admission to a military school after the 11th grade is carried out by the draft commissions of local military registration and enlistment offices among civilians without military service experience. At the same time, cadet candidates are subject to preliminary attribution of their suitability for training in a military school.

Among the main requirements:

  • Russian citizenship,
  • age and level of education,
  • health status,
  • level of physical fitness,
  • professional suitability based on the results of psychological and physiological testing.

Admission to a military school after the 9th grade is made only with the written consent of the parents when submitting a special package of documents to the admission committee of the educational institution. In addition, a small applicant is required to pass entrance exams and pass physical tests in the form of summer camps.

Upon successful completion of all stages of selection, a group of applicants, led by an educator officer, is placed on the territory of a military school to continue the introductory campaign. Here, applicants live in barracks mode. In case of violation of the internal regulations and discipline, the applicant may be disqualified.

Documents for admission

What else is needed for admission, in addition to confidence and a strong desire to become an officer? First of all, this is a package of special documents:

  1. An application addressed to the director of the educational institution indicating in it the full name, date of birth of the applicant, address at the place of residence, the name of the commissariat and its postal code, information about the citizenship and level of education of the applicant, details of identity, personal contacts and the name of the specialty for which the applicant is applying.
  2. Autobiography and characteristics from the place of study or work.
  3. A certificate of education or a statement of the student's current academic performance.
  4. A photocopy of the birth certificate, diploma, passport and documents confirming the special rights of candidates when enrolling in the school.
  5. Three photographs 4.5x6.

All this host of documents is formed in the personal file of the applicant.

Exams

The next stage of admission is examinations for admission to a military school and a test of knowledge of the general education program.

To enter a military school after grade 9, you must pass entrance exams in Russian language and mathematics.

For applicants who have completed grade 11, it is necessary to pass the exam in the following subjects:

  1. Mathematics.
  2. Russian language.
  3. Physics.

What exams do you have to take to join the military?additionally, it is necessary to specify in each educational institution separately. Depending on the profile of the school, they will be different.

Regulations

The third and final step of the introductory campaign is the delivery of mandatory indicators of physical fitness. Two options are possible here:

  1. Passing an exam based on the results of excellent marks in physical education and certificates of victories in sports competitions.
  2. Performing examination exercises in physical education.

In the second case, the standards for admission to a military school are given strictly according to the physical standards of the Ministry of Health and only after an examination by a medical commission.

In the physics program training includes:

  • cross 1000 m;
  • 100 m and 3 km run;
  • swim 50−100 m;
  • pull-ups on the crossbar (from 11 to 17 times).

Only one attempt is allowed for the execution of each task without the right to retake. Exceptions can only be made in unforeseen cases - a breakdown from the crossbar, a fall, and so on.

Privileges

With a fairly high competition, many applicants are interested in the question - how to enter the military out of competition? In this case, the legislation of the Russian Federation provides for a whole system of benefits and privileges:

  • children without guardianship and orphans;
  • children who graduated from a secondary educational institution with honors or a medal;
  • graduates of preparatory courses at military schools and universities based on the results of final exams;
  • persons who have completed the first year of a civilian university in the profile specialty of a military school;
  • graduates of other military schools and boarding schools with basic flight training;
  • persons under the age of 20, in which one of the parents is a disabled person of group I;
  • combatants.

Thus, the military school is a good preparatory school for the younger generation to study the army. However, this is just a base that provides primary knowledge and skills for entering universities.

Many young people dream of devoting their lives to the defense of the Motherland. That is why military schools are so incredibly popular. But how to get there without problems?

Admission to a military school is sometimes delayed for several months, and you need to be ready for this right away. Also, parents should understand that the sooner the child submits documents for admission, the better. If he does this at the last moment, then the chances of successful and long-term training will also decrease. It is better not to delay with this matter, and the submission of documents should be taken immediately after the end of secondary education.

Young people who have already served in the army on a contract basis or by conscription can receive education at a military school on a budgetary basis. In this case, future students receive maximum benefits for themselves and guarantee themselves passage to budget places at the school.

Also, upon admission, the physical preparation of the applicant is also considered, his ability to cope not only with the intellectual load, but also with regular training, sports exercises. You should provide a certificate of your ideal health to increase your chances of admission.

Parents need to discuss with the child in advance the question of the need for such education. The fact is that sometimes it is the parents who encourage the child to enter a military school, although he is not at all interested in this. In this case, the student will not enjoy learning, and moreover, the future profession will not bring absolutely no joy.

If the child purposefully thinks about a military career, then he should know all the details and nuances of entering a military school. There are several "pitfalls" that should be dealt with.

Features of admission to the school.

How to enroll in a military school for applicants? This question, as already mentioned above, must be asked in advance. Until mid-April of the current year of admission, you must contact the local commissariat, expressing a desire to study at a military school. By the way, both citizens who have served in the army and applicants who do not have military training experience should register here. Candidate data is considered together. And yet, applicants who have served in the army have more opportunities to enter the school.

It is necessary to provide copies of the passport, birth certificate, certificate of secondary education to the commissariat. Also, students must provide data on their professional suitability and physical fitness. Without these documents, admission to the university will be impossible.

Most often, verification of documents takes place within a month. In the future, the prospective student is informed about whether he passed the pre-selection or not. If it suddenly turns out that the applicant did not pass the pre-selection, then a detailed report on the reasons for the refusal is provided. Most often, the reason for the refusal is the physical unpreparedness of the applicant or poor grades in the certificate. In order to enter a military school, high USE scores are not required, but the child must provide information about his successful studies at school. Without good grades, it will be very difficult to enter the school.

It is also impossible to enter the school if there are medical contraindications or health restrictions. For example, people with serious heart diseases, disabled people, and so on, cannot enter such an educational institution. This factor should be taken into account in advance when submitting documents. Even if the future student manages to slip through the primary selection with medical contraindications, in the future, his deceit will definitely be revealed.

How to enroll in a military school for children who have benefits? In fact, it is easiest for beneficiaries to enter a military school, because they are provided with various subsidies, and participation in the competition for a place without queues. Benefits are used by several groups of people at once.

Children from low-income families or those applicants whose one of the parents is disabled;

Orphans who wish to enter a military school;

Applicants who previously took part in hostilities;

Applicants who have been discharged from military service and want to get an education to improve their qualifications and many others.

This is just a short list of those students who have preferential conditions for admission. Most importantly, provide the relevant documents to the selection committee on the availability of benefits in order to take advantage of favorable admission conditions.

At the next stage of admission, students' knowledge of general subjects is checked. Most often, the verification takes place with the help of special entrance exams. Those applicants who have experience in military service, as well as students who have served in the Suvorov military school, are exempted from passing the entrance exams. By the way, for those who graduated from the Suvorov School, the conditions for admission are the most preferential and profitable, and this should be taken into account. Usually, after graduating from the Suvorov military school, students also strive to get a higher education in a military specialty.

Schoolchildren who have completed secondary education with a gold or silver medal are also exempted from entrance examinations. Also, winners of various olympiads or children who showed their knowledge during the initial selection may not take the entrance exams. All the rest will have to pass an entrance examination course, which will weed out candidates who are not able to pull the level of the educational program.

Of course, applicants to military schools are simply required to pass physical fitness exams. Here, each applicant must show the maximum of their physical abilities and skills. Of course, it is difficult for many children to show their physical abilities right away, but this should be done.

In addition, children will have to pass a psychological test. The fact is that military service requires a person to be psychologically prepared at the proper level. But sometimes it is very difficult to pass such a psychological test. Children face a range of challenges. Usually a psychological test helps to determine the child's abilities and his level of preparedness for such a difficult profession.

The child needs to take a testimonial from the previous place of study in advance in order to successfully enter the school. In such a characteristic, the director of the school should contain data on the professional qualities of the applicant, his knowledge, and so on. The document must have a special seal of the educational institution and a certified signature.

The main problems arise with obtaining a full range of medical certificates. Military schools require a decent list of medical certificates and documents confirming the ideal state of health of the applicant. Documents from the TB ward, as well as from the psychiatric institution, are usually difficult to obtain. The child should go through all the examinations on his own without various bribes, in order to be sure of the productivity of his admission himself.

Of course, each student may have their own diseases and contraindications for admission, this should be taken into account in advance and report the problems to the commission. It is quite possible that with certain contraindications it will be possible to study at a military school. The main thing is to think about such problems in advance and solve them with the commission of the university.

A huge plus of entering a military school is that the child does not need to take the exam to enter the cadet school. The exam is a huge stress for a modern student. That is why the fact that the military school does not consider test results is decisive for applicants. And yet, if a child boasts excellent USE results, his chances of admission will increase in advance. Of course, teachers look, first of all, at the results of the Russian language, mathematics and social science. Other items do not play a special role. If an applicant has low scores in the Unified State Examination, then, most likely, he will take entrance exams directly at the school.

Each student, having collected all the necessary documents, must go to the admissions office of a certain university or to the commissariat at the place of residence. In advance, you need to think about the queues of applicants, because many students seek to apply to military schools.

By the way, now military schools are becoming more and more popular. That is why competitions for a place are 5-10 people. Of course we are talking about budget places, since it is much easier to enter on a paid basis. Studying for a fee is as difficult as free, so it's better to try to enter the budget.

The most honorable and popular military schools are, of course, in Moscow. Here the competitions are the most extensive and decent. You can also find good military establishments in St. Petersburg. Usually the level of training in these universities is at an excellent level. This means that every child will be able to obtain a sufficient level of knowledge in order to successfully work in their specialty in the future.

Conclusions and generalizations on the topic.

Getting into a military school is sometimes very difficult. Many students think that getting into college is easy just because they don't have to submit USE results, but that's not the case. In fact, applicants need to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and decent preparedness in order to get a place in a university.

It is better for parents to make sure that the child collects the entire package of documents and provides them to the school in advance. Of course, it will be difficult to collect documents on your own. It is better to prepare in advance, write out all the necessary lists of documents, so as not to encounter problematic situations in the future.

It is also better for a student to prepare in advance for entrance exams in order to pass them at the highest level. Teachers, first of all, will look at educational results in order to score the most powerful and successful course. The better the student will pass the exams when entering the school, the higher will be his chances for future education. Of course, excitement should not be discounted here, but nevertheless, a prepared student will be able to pass this stage of selection without any problems.

A decent physical level of preparation is very important, and should not be written off. As soon as the child passes all the commissions, he should think about whether he can devote all his free time to studying, because physical activity will be decent. That is why it is necessary to think in advance about the problems of this training option.

Most often, those who have already undergone special training or graduated from the Suvorov School seek to enter military schools. For them, there are all the benefits here, and therefore admission seems easier. Applicants without special training should not despair either, because they can show a high level of knowledge and their own activity. Then there will be a place for them in a prestigious military school. If a person really has a desire to develop in this business, then he can become a military man without any problems.

Many young people dream of entering a military school. After passing all levels of tests and exams, the applicant will finally get the opportunity to study in the specialty of his dreams.

The procedure for entering a military school is very complicated. Before you go to the place of study, you need to look at the military registration and enlistment office together with your parents. Why with your parents, if deep down you already feel like an adult seasoned military man? The fact is that in the history of the educational institution there could be periods when almost completely kids were accepted there - this has been the case since then. And the leadership does not consider it necessary to abandon the idea of coordinating with your parents not only the issue of your admission to a military school, but also the issue of your further compulsory education at a military university! And all this is not just in a conversation, but in a special report that parents must write. The position "now you will go to Suvorov, and then we'll see" is unacceptable.

At least in the year preceding admission, and better - even earlier, try to study well and not spoil relations with either the class teacher or the school principal, because you will be asked for a report card with grades for the last year of schooling and a testimonial from the school with signatures and official stamp . In this case, you need to indicate what language you studied at school, but do you know why? French, which is quite common in Russian schools, can become an obstacle to admission! For example, only those who studied English are taken to secondary educational institutions of the naval profile, and those who studied English or German at school are taken to the military music school.

When deciding to enter a military school, the most fundamental issue is health. You need to go through a detailed medical examination. Examinations may require the most unusual - from radiography of the paranasal sinuses with a description and pictures to one hundred percent sanitation of the oral cavity, followed by the issuance of a certificate of this. For a complete list of required documents, look at two sites - the military educational institution you want to enroll in, and the military educational institution closest to you (it is possible that the military command will reconsider your choice, guided by the geographical principle). It happens that everything is mixed up in this list - medical certificates, anthropometric data of the candidate (from height to shoe size and headgear), photographs with a place for a seal in the lower right corner, a certificate from the parents' place of residence indicating family composition and living conditions, documents on possible benefits and much more. In general, there are enough benefits here - and at the same time, even more documents are required from orphans (they are taken without exams) - almost a court decision on the establishment of guardianship. Mothers of the children of fallen soldiers (such children have the priority right to enroll) should also devote a lot of time to preparing the necessary papers.

Based on the mass of submitted documents, the selection committee will decide whether to allow you to enter the entrance examinations. And if the negative decision in this case is still subject to appeal, then the results of the tests themselves are no longer there.

Competition in a secondary military educational institution can be 4 people per place.

Admission campaign deadlines

Until June 20, personal lists of candidates admitted to the entrance examinations are submitted by the admission committee of the school to the central selection committee.

Until July 1, the central selection committee generates personal lists taking into account your place of residence (but regardless of which school you have chosen yourself) and sends them to the selection committees of schools on time for competitive entrance examinations (including using field committees) .

Until August 5, the competitive lists of candidates are sent to the central selection committee, which compiles a single set of lists, which is approved by the Minister of Defense. Lists of enrolled candidates are posted on the Internet on the website of the Ministry of Defense. However, with the withdrawal of military schools from under the wing of the Ministry of Defense and their reassignment to the respective branches of the military, such a decision is likely to be made by the respective commanders.
