Techniques for closing parent-teacher meetings. How to have a parent-teacher conference

Parent meeting at the end of the school year.

Target: - sum up the joint activities to develop creative and physical abilities

Increase motivation for a healthy lifestyle,

Create a good, optimistic mood

Teacher. Good evening. OUR PARENT MEETING ON THE EVE OF THE HOLIDAY MAY 15 - FAMILY DAY. Today we have gathered with you to sum up the results of the academic year. Another year has flown by. He shaped everything. Some have had success. Someone is just on the way to them. I would like to thank the parents who did not stand aside from our problems, participated not only in the life of the class, but also in the life of every child. It is very important when the teacher, family, child - cooperate. About some actions of your children, telling you - I'm looking for your understanding and support. So that the child understands that he is not indifferent to us. Maybe he will understand this not now, but a little later. Not in all cases the child should be scolded for his misconduct, you should try to explain it to him. We must talk. Parents are always busy, they have a lot of problems, but you need to find a minute to just go up to the child, stroke his head, caress him.

Psychologists say: if a child is not stroked on the head every day, then his brain “dries up”. Of course, this is a figurative expression. But it is not far from the truth. Not only kids need affection, but also middle school students, and even teenagers. It has been proven that children whose parents often stroke their heads, hug, kiss, are more optimistic, quick-witted, open in communication. Caress your child, sit next to him for a few minutes before going to bed, read a book, say a few kind words, wish him good night, and tomorrow's difficult school day will be much easier! .

Children spend most of their free time at the computer.

Summer ahead. Children will have a lot of free time. Try to limit the time spent at the computer.

Long stay at the computer negatively affects many functions of our body: nervous activity, endocrine, immune and reproductive systems, vision and the human musculoskeletal system... What can this mean for a person? This is from spoiled vision to varicose veins in the legs. To be honest, you can "earn" all this without a computer, just by leading an unbalanced lifestyle.

The computer is just another link in the same chain: insufficient rest, sedentary lifestyle, non-organic diet, etc.

All of the above ailments will certainly affect your mental state.

And if vision, hearing can be spoiled by means of a keyboard, "mouse" or monitor, then the psyche is primarily affected by more, so to speak, virtual things - games and the Internet. This is something that is "addictive", something from which it is impossible to break away, something without which many no longer imagine their life - this is a manic addiction to the Internet or games. If you like, Internet mania, game mania.

Here are some psychological symptoms that a person may begin to experience if he belongs to the risk group of Internet addicts:

good health or euphoria at the computer;

inability to stop

increase in the amount of time spent at the computer;

Neglect of family and friends

feelings of emptiness, depression, irritation not at the computer;

lie to family members about their activities;

Problems with study.

Dangerous signals are also:

An obsessive desire to constantly check e-mail;

anticipation of the next online session;

increase in time spent online;

increase in the amount of money spent online.

For example, this may be reflected in their emotional plane, there may be increased aggressiveness, outbreaks of violence.

Another observation is that children stop fantasizing, become unable to create their own visual images, and with difficulty generalize and analyze information.

The computer can cause long-term disorders in the field of mental and intellectual development of children. Some types of memory work worse in the so-called computer generation, emotional immaturity and irresponsibility are observed. Just the other day, when the conversation turned to the fact that we would go on an excursion and a green parking lot at the end of May, many said, why, if there is a computer and a TV at home?

Of course, it is impossible to protect children from the computer, but we must try to limit the time spent at it.

Let them spend more time outdoors.

6. How to overcome the fear of school (the teacher Sidorova O.G. speaks).

1. The school year ends. Our children have grown up, learned a lot, learned a lot, our friendly family has grown stronger. I want the breakup to be pleasant and memorable. Let's remember once again what this school year was like in our group (viewing a photo presentation from the life of the group).
2. The floor is given to the Chairman of the Council of Parents Panasyuk Natalya Nikolaevna.
3. The floor is given to a member of the parent council Abbasova Valeria Konstantinovna.
4. Many parents are concerned about the transition of children from kindergarten to school. Parents are interested in the school success of their child, so they begin to prepare him for entering school as early as possible. What needs to be done so that the child goes to school prepared and learns well, while receiving only positive emotions?
Within the framework of the law on education, the “Federal State Educational Standard for Preschool Education” was released, in short - GEF, and it came into force on January 1, 2014.
Why did scientists suddenly take up the development of a standard for preschool education? Because for the first time in the history of our culture, pre-school childhood has become a special self-valuable level of education - this has never happened before; Previously, preschool age was considered as one of the steps for preparing children for school. Now preschool age is valuable in itself. The essence of the change concerns the model of the educational process. From it, it is completely necessary to eradicate the training model. Children of preschool age should not be taught, but developed. Development is at the forefront. It is necessary to develop through activities accessible to their age - games.
The changes also concern the position of the adult. An adult interacts, but the interaction is considered not in a formal context, but in an essential one (partnership). An adult interacts with children: sets goals together, acts together to achieve these goals, and together evaluates the product that is the result.
According to the new law, the main thing was the psychological preparation of children for school, which includes:
- intellectual readiness;
- motivational readiness;
- emotional-volitional readiness;

This development includes a lot of information about the first assessment and homework. You can correct this development, remove or add something of your own.

This sometimes prevents us from appreciating its positive qualities, which are the main basis for building confidence.

Agenda

    The importance of grades and grades for a child

    How to organize your homework

    Results of educational work for the first quarter

    Organizational matters

2. The importance of grades and grades for the child

mark (grade) in pedagogy is the result of the evaluation process, a conditionally formal (sign), quantitative or qualitative expression of the assessment of educational achievements by students in numbers, letters or otherwise.

A mark is a kind of landmark that reflects social requirements for the content of education, for the level of mastery of it by the student, an effective regulator of his educational activity and social relations in the life of the student.

Mark is the same as estimated score . Conditional Evaluation Expression knowledge, skills and skills, as well as the behavior of students (schoolchildren). Student performance is also assessed by the results testing using rating scales.

Grade- ambiguous term:

    Assessment (philosophy) - a way to establish the significance of something for the acting and knowing subject.

    Assessment (pedagogy) - the opinion of the teacher (another verifier) about the level of knowledge of the student (the quality of his work) expressed in the number.

    Estimate (mathematical statistics) - This statistics, which are used to estimate unknown parameters distribution random variable.

    Valuation (in economics) - establishing the value of tangible and intangible objects, taking into account the rights to them and the interests of subjects of civil rights in relation to them.

    • Property valuation

    Grade (metrology ) - approximate value of a quantity or parameter found from experimental data.

    Expert assessment , more precisely conclusionexpert at expertise (expert evaluation ).

How to treat your child's grades.

Don't scold your child for a bad grade. He wants to be good in your eyes. If it doesn’t work out to be good, the child begins to lie and dodge in order to still be good in your eyes.

Sympathize with your child if he worked for a long time, but the result of his work is not high. Explain to him that not only the high result is important. More important is the knowledge that he can acquire as a result of daily, hard and painstaking work.

Don't make your child beg for a mark at the end of a quarter for your peace of mind.

Don't teach your child to be agile, humiliated, and adaptable for the sake of a positive result in the form of a high mark.

Never express doubts about the objectivity of your child's mark out loud.

If you have doubts, go to school and try to objectively understand the situation.

Don't unreasonably blame other adults, teachers, and children for your own children's problems.

Support the child in his, albeit not very significant, but victories over himself, over his laziness.

Have a holiday to celebrate getting an excellent mark. Good, like bad, is remembered by the child for a long time and you want to repeat it. Let the child get a good mark for the sake of being marked. It will soon become a habit.

Demonstrate the positive results of your work so that the child wants to imitate you.

Studying at school, doing homework is a serious job. Everyone knows what homework is. Several generations of schoolchildren call homework "homework" . « Homework is what keeps poor children from breathing freely after school is over. Why do so many generations of teachers insist on doing homework, and why do so many generations of unfortunate schoolchildren with the same constancy try to avoid this "bitter fate"?

In today's school, children spend six hours a day, and sometimes more. Fortunately, the curriculum still includes subjects such as physical education, visual arts and music, as well as special subjects aimed at developing self-esteem. ("All colors except black") It is suggested that teachers should spend the remaining three hours teaching reading, writing, math, and at least some science. Class teachers are not able to do everything. They need help.

As parents, you can make a huge difference in your children's education. By reading to your baby, you automatically increase his vocabulary. By helping with homework every day, you show with your attention how important learning is.

Many parents want to help their children, but do not know how to do it. In addition to the constant lack of time, they often notice that their children simply do not want to study with them. Children will be more willing to design a new car than do homework. But even if children watch a lot of TV or sit at the computer from time to time, they cannot be unambiguously called lazy. After the children have done their homework, they don't want to spend any more time reading, and they are not interested in the opportunity to practice math.

One parent said that when it came time to do their homework in reading, the child hid the book behind the battery. Homework turned into a battle, and working together caused a tension between them that was of no use to anyone. The parent lost his temper when he felt that the son was not trying his best, and doing homework usually ends up yelling at each other. Some parents, in order to avoid problems, even do homework for their children.

It happens that parents themselves provoke children to a negative reaction associated with doing homework. Having left work tired and irritated, they sit down with the children for lessons with disdain and with a sense of doom. Any mistake or miscalculation of the child instantly turns into a storm of emotional outbursts towards the child. As a rule, children are very sensitive to the state of their parents, and your tension is transmitted to them. Before you sit down for lessons, try to calm down yourself and concentrate on the activities you are doing. State your requirements to the child in a firm and confident voice, without raising your tone.

Researchers believe that parents are one of the most important sources of knowledge for their child. Parents have every opportunity to help their children succeed in school, but they do less than they could. The study found that mothers, on average, spend less than half an hour a day talking to, explaining or reading to their children. Fathers are even less - about 15 minutes. Therefore, before asking your child about the grade and success at school, first ask yourself, what did I do for this? How would you rate yourself for doing homework with your child?

A child's self-esteem is fragile and needs to be cherished. If your child knows that there is a special time that you will spend with him, then you show him that he is very important to you and that you want to be him. Everyone knows that children love to play - admit it and use it to your advantage. Then your children will enjoy spending time with you and the learning process will become something exciting for them.

Homework performs various functions.

One of the main functions is leveling the knowledge and skills of the child, his skills, in the event that he was ill for a long time, or missed a lot, or did not learn some difficult topic.

The second function of homework is to stimulate the student's cognitive interest, the desire to know as much as possible about the subject or topic.

The third function of homework is This is the development of the student's independence, his perseverance and responsibility for the educational task being performed.

Classroom teacher: If we think about how to properly organize educational work at home, we will notice that this is a twofold task.

    On the one hand, you need to help the child find correct mode of operation, highlight place to practice, determine the best order of preparation of lessons.

    On the other hand, instill in him a persistent habit of sitting down for lessons contrary to the desire to play or take a walk, develop the ability to quickly get to work, lead it without distraction, and at a good pace. The slightest internal disorder of the child or some external inconvenience can be a serious hindrance.

What can you advise parents if their child cannot "sit at the lessons"?

Cl. hands: First of all, games. Quiet board games and mobile role-playing games.

Secondly. It is useful for a child to do some work together with adults, to do it quickly, cheerfully, without buildup, without painful pauses. You can do dirty dishes together: you wash, the child wipes; we can do something together; you can read a book together: you page, child page.

You can develop a habit in your child to quickly switch from one thing to another. If he is called to eat, then he must immediately stop the game. It is unacceptable to allow a child to ignore parental instructions in anything. It is necessary to teach the child to separate free time from the time when he is busy with something serious, not to confuse business with the game. How many times have you seen how, while eating, a child plays with bread, washed his hands and played with the fringe of the towel. Parents should not be passive observers of such scenes. Otherwise, the same thing will happen with classes. Ensure that the child does everything necessary without additional reminders, without being distracted by anything.

The mode of the day plays an important role in organizing the educational work of the student. Special studies conducted in the primary grades have shown that those who study well have a fixed time for preparing lessons, and they stick to it. The guys admitted that when the hour of preparing lessons approaches, they lose interest in games, they don’t want to go out anymore.

And, on the contrary, among the weak students there are many who do not have a permanent time allotted for studying. This is no coincidence. Cultivating the habit of systematic work begins with the establishment of a firm regime of study. without it, academic success cannot be achieved. The daily routine should not change depending on the number of lessons, on the fact that an interesting film is shown on TV or guests have come to the house.

Cl. hands The child should sit down for lessons not only at the same time, but also at a permanent workplace. So that he could keep books and notebooks there. If the child is engaged at the common table, no one should interfere with him, distract him from classes

Why should a child not only have a comfortable place to study, but also a permanent one?

Cl. hands: The fact is that for every person, and for a younger student in particular, an attitude is developed not only for a certain time, but also for a certain place of work. When such an attitude is formed in a child, it is enough for him to sit down at the usual table, as a working mood comes by itself, there is a desire to get to work.

Help your child strictly follow this rule: before the start of classes, everything that is not related to them should be removed from the table. All auxiliary things that you have to use (ruler, rubber band, pencil), put to your left; textbooks, notebooks, diary - on the right. Everything that is no longer needed, immediately put in a briefcase or in another specific place.

It is useful to make a memo with the child

"Let's sit down for lessons."

    Turn off the radio, TV

    Wipe the dust off the table

    Light from the left side

    Remove everything from the table

Having started comparing his actions with the points of the memo, the student after a while achieves that all these actions will become familiar to him.

CONCLUSION: Organize a child's working corner in each family. Teach children to do homework on their own, using the memo “We sit down for lessons”,

Consolidation of acquired knowledge. Parent testing

Test "What kind of parent am I?"

Check the phrases that you most often use in your family:

1 SOLUTION:

It is important for a child to have a comfortable, beautiful workplace.

Parents, minding their own business, are ready to help the child.

Try to make everything clear - what to do and how.

Don't forget to praise your child.

2 SOLUTION:

Don't believe in promises. Children can get carried away with the game and not pay attention to the time. This promise will not be kept. Business first, fun later. And no advances.

3 SOLUTION:

You need to learn to do your homework on your own. And parents should be contacted if necessary - difficulty and verification.

4 SOLUTION:

The child must understand that he is studying for himself, and not for his parents. It is necessary to form in the child a certain motivation for learning.

  • When a person studies, something may not work out for him, this is natural. The child has the right to make mistakes.
  • Don't skip the hardships. If necessary, seek help from the teacher;

It is advisable to end the parent meeting with an assessment that shows whether the expectations of its participants were justified, which was especially significant for each of the participants, what conclusions the parents made for themselves. At the final stage of the parent meeting, it is important to find out if the understanding of the issue under consideration has changed. Each of them must decide for himself what at the meeting supported his opinion, and what needs to be revised or changed in himself. This is a reflection, that is, an assessment of oneself from the position of the issue under consideration. Let us give specific methods for conducting assessment, self-assessment, and reflection.

Written response to one of the questions of the participant's choice: "What new did you learn today? What attracted your attention at the meeting? What speech did you consider the most constructive and why? What was difficult? What interfered with the work and why?" There may be other questions - at the discretion of the teacher or the organizers of the parent meeting.

Ball game. One sentence answer to the question. Taking the ball, the parent gives the answer to the question. Giving the ball - asks a question.

Gesture of the day. Sitting or standing, parents demonstrate their attitude to the results of the meeting with appropriate facial expressions or gestures.

Drawing of the day. Parents express their attitude to the meeting with an appropriate drawing, explaining, if necessary, its meaning.

Word of the day. It is proposed to express one's attitude to the meeting in one word.

Coordinate system. A coordinate system is drawn on the board. Each parent must determine his point in this coordinate system - this will be his assessment of the meeting. On one axis, grades are marked by content, on the other - by organization.

Blitz poll. The teacher asks questions on the topic of the parent-teacher meeting, and the parents give quick and concise answers, answering at will.

Anonymous advice. Each participant receives a card in which he writes advice to the teacher or other participants. You can offer to give advice in a humorous way.

Exhibitions. The booth displays works made by parents during the meeting. Rationalization proposals for improving their work are made by the parents themselves. They also evaluate the results of their activities. The teacher highlights the positive in each work and offers to compare the work of children with the work of adults, highlight the difficulties in completing tasks.

Parent survey at the final stage, the meeting is held in order to give participants the opportunity to evaluate their knowledge on the problem considered at the meeting, to evaluate the results of the parent meeting as a whole.

A typical participant in the parent meeting. The teacher invites parents to make a portrait of a typical representative of their group. It may be a real portrait of the group, or it may be a comic one. It all depends on the mood and desire of the parents. Both options can be offered.

Pyramid of knowledge. Parents build a pyramid of their knowledge acquired or expanded at the meeting. You can build a pyramid of positive emotions, interesting facts, useful information, original tasks, etc.

Reflection (introspection) can be held after each stage of the parent meeting, but it is most advisable to do this at the end of the meeting. All parents take turns expressing their impressions of the meeting. The teacher encourages parents to express themselves with questions: "What did you especially like? What would you like to do differently? How has your attitude towards yourself changed? What valuable qualities did you manage to see at the meeting? What new knowledge and skills did you enrich? What discoveries did you make for yourself during the meeting? What questions were easy for you to answer? What surprised you? What was helpful to you personally?" Other questions may be asked. Their wording depends on the composition of the parent group and the theme of the parent meeting.

Self-analysis of personal qualities. The teacher invites parents to think about what worries them most about themselves: relationships with children, appearance, style of behavior, demeanor, attitude of people, the results of their own activities, their inner world, etc. The number of signs, the signs themselves are determined by the parents together with the teacher. All of them are written in a column. Participants need to rank the features, that is, put a number next to each feature. First, the participants choose the most significant feature for them, it corresponds to the number 1, then the next - 2, etc. Each participant will have their own order of numbers. Target:

To acquaint parents with the results for the second quarter.

To reveal the ideas of parents about the organization of educational work of children at home;

Meeting progress:

1. Introduction to the topic of the meeting.

Once upon a time there was Little Red Riding Hood, so pretty and smart that she was the best in the world. Her mother loved her without memory, and her grandmother even more. Once Little Red Riding Hood went to her grandmother. She walks through the forest, picks flowers, listens to grasshoppers, and suddenly she remembered, but she didn’t do her homework, and the sun is setting in the evening ...

Task for parents: continue the tale, make 1-2 sentences in a chain.

2. Opening remarks.

Studying at school, doing homework is a serious job. Today we will talk about the success of our children, as well as their attitude to study and homework. Everyone knows what homework is. Several generations of schoolchildren call homework "homework"

And without your parental help, they will not cope. By helping with homework every day, you show with your attention how important learning is. Many parents want to help their children, but do not know how to do it. In addition to the constant lack of time, they often notice that their children simply do not want to study with them. Some parents, in order to avoid problems, even do homework for their children. It happens that parents themselves provoke children to a negative reaction associated with doing homework. Arriving from work tired and irritated, they sit down with their children with disdain and with a sense of doom.

Now I will announce to you what they should have learned by the end of the 2nd quarter. Those. first semester in 2nd grade.

Requirements for reading in the 1st half of the second grade - Reading must be conscious, correct, in whole words. Reading by syllables of words with a complex syllabic structure is allowed.Reading technique in grade 2 according to the Federal State Educational Standard should have the following indicative indicators:

In the 1st half of the year - 40-50 words per minute.

In the 2nd half of the year - 50-60 words per minute.

A child who cannot read well faces serious problems during various assignments in other subjects. In elementary school, reading aloud speed is tested periodically. You are already familiar with the marks of your children.Don't scold your kids for grades because they're already worried. They need your support. Sometimes it is necessary to tell the child that it is not he who is evaluated, but the results of his activities. So, when doing homework, you can ask: "What do you think you did especially well? And what - not so much?".
If a child is painfully worried about grades, you can help him by using the word "but", that is, try to find some dignity in the work. It is good if this is not just a consolation of an adult, but a discussion of the task together with the child. For example, it might look like this: "You solved the problem incorrectly. What did you do? Yes, but you got very nice numbers"

How to help a child?

a). A child will not learn better if he is forced. On the contrary, excessive strictness can provoke severe stress, which, in turn, will reduce academic performance even more. Therefore, it is advisable to take a closer look and determine what specifically interferes with the child.

b) Perhaps you should reconsider your requirements for the child. Being the first in everything is always impossible.

c) Remember that an excellent grade is not an indicator of knowledge and not an end in itself. The cult of the five can have serious repercussions in adulthood.
Be observant and attentive to your children, note changes in their behavior, changes in their performance.

A child's self-esteem is fragile and needs to be cherished. If your child knows that there is a special time that you will spend with him, then you show him that he is very important to you and that you want to be him.

Do not leave your child alone with their problems. Do homework with him. Homework performs various functions.

One of the main ones is the function of leveling the knowledge and skills of the child, his skills, in the event that he was sick for a long time, or missed a lot, or did not learn some difficult topic.

The second function of homework is to stimulate the student's cognitive interest, the desire to know as much as possible about the subject or topic.

The third function of homework is the development of the student's independence, his perseverance and responsibility for the educational task being performed.

Often parents ask such a question, with what subject is it better to start preparing lessons, from difficult or easy? It is best to teach him to independently determine the difficulties of the work performed and decide for himself which subject to start doing homework with. If the student is included in the work immediately, it is advisable for him to do the most difficult lessons first and move on to the easier ones. If he draws in slowly, then he should start with the easier ones and only gradually move on to the difficult ones.

It is best to start doing homework 1 hour or 1.5 hours after returning from school in order to have time to take a break from classes. If the child is busy with some other business (for example, attends circles, sections), then you can sit down later. But in any case, you can not postpone it for the evening.

The duration of the child's work on preparing homework should be as follows:

Up to 1 hour - in the first class;

Up to 1.5 hours - in the second;

Up to 2 hours - in the third and fourth grade.

These standards are set by the Ministry of Education.

To successfully complete the task, a clear rhythm of classes is necessary. For example, after 25 minutes of training, you should take a break for 5 to 10 minutes, during which you should perform some physical exercises.

Start with a subject that is easier for the child, and do not answer a single question addressed to you until the task is completed to the end, see if there are any mistakes, offer to look for them yourself. Try to avoid the word "mistake". Don't make fun of your children's mistakes.

About reading.

Once the child reads by himself. Then you, say, cook at the stove, and he retells what he read. If he retells a passage inaccurately, let him read it again. So we get away from meaningless repetitions.

Be sure to read books aloud at night with your child, one at a time. Look at the illustrations. Notice the accuracy or inattention of the artist, return to the text along the way. If there are passages that can be read by roles, use this opportunity. Just don't read it over and over again. It's boring.

In Russian.

Pay attention to the entire exercise. In case of difficulty, doaloud all the exercises, but do not write letters or words in the textbook. At his writtenthe child once again remembers everything. Leave the room while he is doing the task, do not stand behind him. Do not be angry with your child and do not make him angry.

Tasks in mathematics.

Learn to read and imagine as incidents. Complete the drawing. Find an auxiliary action if the task consists of two or more actions. Let's clarify what values we are talking about. The child independently writes down the actions and the answer. You check.

Natural history.

8. Summary of the meeting.

Parents who almost immediately give their children the opportunity to exercise complete independence in preparing lessons are just as wrong as those who overprotect their child. Some adults say to the child: “The lessons are given to you, not to me, so you do it!”

Others kindly ask: “Well, what did they ask us today?” - and open textbooks and notebooks. In the first case, there is resentment at the indifference of relatives to such important school matters and the quality of the tasks performed suffers, and in the second, irresponsibility is formed, confidence that everything will be done well and without much effort.

Of course, parents should be interested in establishing the process of preparing homework.

Memo "Sit down for lessons"

1. Sit down for lessons always at the same time.

2. Ventilate the room 10 minutes before class starts.

3. Turn off the radio, TV. The room where you work should be quiet.

Start with the subject that is easiest for the child, and do not answer any question addressed to you until the task is completed. See if there are oversights, offer to look for them yourself. Try to avoid the word "mistake". Don't make fun of your kids' "mistakes".

Mathematics. Hang the multiplication table above the bed and learn from it to multiply and divide at once. Get ahead of the school, learn the whole table. Tasks learn to read and present. If the child cannot cope with the task, show how to do it using an example of a similar task.

Reading. Once the child reads by himself. Then he retells what he read to you. If he inaccurately retells some place, let him read it again. So we get away from meaningless repetitions. Be sure to read books aloud at night with your child, in turn, and where possible, by roles.

Russian language. In case of difficulties, do all the tasks aloud, but do not write letters or words in the textbook. When writing, the child remembers everything again. Leave the room until he completes the task, do not stand behind him. The world around is not only according to the book. Write out additional magazines. Make interesting clippings from there and select texts. This will come in handy in 5th grade.

Memo control on homework

Dear parents! When supervising homework, show tolerance and respect for the personality of your child:

1. Do not compare his skills with the skills of other children.

2. Do not shout, it is better to determine the reason for the child's lack of ability to perform a given exercise.

3. Create conditions for the successful completion of homework by the child.

4. Do not try to do homework for your son or daughter, it will do them a disservice.

5. Encourage perseverance and display of character in achieving the goal.

10. Demonstrate his achievements in front of other family members, brothers and sisters.

11. In order to make it easier for your child to do homework, buy him encyclopedias, dictionaries and reference books on various subjects, reference books on information media.

12. Form the habit of finishing what you start, even if you have to sacrifice something.

13. Buy your child logic games that contribute to the formation of perseverance, patience and responsibility.

14. Don't dismiss your child's questions. By doing this, you exacerbate the problems associated with preparing homework.
