In this statement, the author raises the problem of connection, past present and future. This problem is relevant throughout the life of mankind. In his actions, he did not use the experience of Napoleon in 1812, and his trouble was, like Bonaparte's father-in-law, the defeat of his army and defeat in the war. Thus, we see that ignorance of the past has a significant impact on the future that our actions entail.

As a second example to argue my position, I would like to cite Nikolai E. A., a Soviet gymnast who occupies the 3rd place in the history of the Olympic Games in terms of the number of medals won in all sports. Today, there are a huge number of professions, and every student, including me, faces a difficult choice, deciding what activity to connect his life with, where to study and where to go to work.

Studying at school, college is just a short period of time, and work is a huge component of a person’s life, so you can’t draw hasty conclusions, but you need to approach this issue with more responsibility. If work is a vocation, then it turns into an exciting process that contributes to complete dedication.

I admire people who can be content with little, create a wonderful atmosphere of kindness, participation, harmony. These are our school teachers. They manage to do everything: to communicate with nature, and meet interesting people, and benefit from their work, and bring joy to relatives and friends. I think that their life is interesting, beautiful, happy. This is exactly the category of people who are always remembered only with gratitude.

I know about the teaching profession not only from the outside, but also had the opportunity to get to know it from the inside. My mother, her two sisters and grandmother (she is now on a well-deserved rest) are directly related to the school. They're teachers. It's interesting to watch them when they meet. Even being at home, they talk about the school, its problems and difficulties. I see how they are worried about the fate of their children, for their successes, and how they rejoice at every, even a small, student achievement.

I have repeatedly asked myself the question: why are there so few men among teachers? Why are schools predominantly run by women? Why do young people not want to go to school? After much thought, I came to the conclusion that this was largely due to the wrong policy of the state, which undermined the prestige of this profession, which is significant for people. I am offended when programs appear on television before Teacher's Day, where they speak very badly about the school and teachers.

Is it easy to be a teacher in a modern school? Of course not. The requirements for teachers are constantly growing, they do not have free time, but it is they, these modest workers, who awaken the brains of children to mental activity and help develop their abilities.

When I talked to my classmates about what they want to become, they named many different professions, but among them there was not a single one who would like to link their fate with the school. Of course, I have not yet decided anything for myself completely, but I would like to feel what my mother experiences when she speaks with enthusiasm about her students. Mother's love is enough for us and for the students, without whom she does not see the meaning of her existence.

I'd like to go back to my home school as a teacher before I've decided what subject I'd like to teach, but I'm interested in watching younger children. They are direct, sincere, grateful. I fully share the opinion of John F. Kennedy, who said: “There is no greater task before our nation than to spread and improve the possibilities of education for all our people ... Education is the most profitable investment that a society can make, and at the same time the richest reward that it can award."

In my opinion, the word "education" is close to the word "enlightenment", the root of which is the word "light". Teachers bring the light of kindness, love, understanding, justice.
