The legend perfectly suited the possible variant of the real development of events, since the planet Phaethon could be destroyed by the interaction of the gravitational fields of the Sun and Jupiter. According to modern scientists, this could have happened about 10 million years ago.

Well, that seems to be all. Another unraveled mystery of nature, another plus in the treasury of science ... But, was it really so? Firstly, the dating of such an event, to put it mildly, is far-fetched. No significant evidence that Phaeton was destroyed exactly 10 million years ago has not yet been presented. And, secondly, according to any models of the movement and interaction of bodies under the influence of gravity, Phaethon, or rather its fragments, simply could not remain in that orbit - sooner or later they would be attracted to Jupiter. The estimated period of complete "cleansing" of the Phaeton orbit by Jupiter would be 1-2 million years.

And, meanwhile, the total mass of the Asteroid Belt roughly corresponds to the mass of the planet Phaethon, according to Kepler's rule. That is, so far nothing has gone anywhere. This gives every reason to believe that the catastrophe occurred relatively recently.

In addition, it is strange that almost all debris adhere to almost the same orbits. And the number of "wandering" asteroids is relatively small. Well, of course there are many, several thousand, but what are a few thousand compared to millions?

One gets the impression that the planet Phaeton was not at all torn apart by gravitational interactions, but simply “slowly” crumbled and continued its journey in a slightly modified form. Undoubtedly, some part of it flew into the surrounding space, but a large amount of the substance that made it up is still there.

An interesting fact about many asteroids is that relatively recently traces of water and organic compounds have been found on them. These, of course, are not proteins or some other complex molecules, but just methane and other hydrocarbons, but the very fact of this already makes one think that life could well exist on Phaeton.

In addition, you can roughly determine when this event occurred. In the history of the Earth, there have been more than once cataclysms associated with the fall of meteorites, which radically changed not only the climate, but also the appearance of our planet. "Meteoritic" origin have at least three periods of cooling, due to the dusting of the atmosphere, which occurred as a result of the fall of large meteorites. The first occurred 65 million years ago, as a result of which the dinosaurs became extinct. The second was somewhat earlier - about 33 ml years ago. Its cause could be the so-called "Mexican meteorite".

But the last, third, happened quite recently, no more than 25 thousand years ago. Moreover, some scientists tend to believe that it is still going on. This extinction is a consequence of the last ice age, which happened around the same time.

In the cave of Liang Bua in Indonesia, unique drawings were found depicting the flight of a giant comet, and the rain of stars that followed it. The dating of the drawings refers to approximately 25-27 millennium BC. It is possible that our ancient ancestors, as best they could, recorded the beginning of the apocalypse - the fall of many relatively small meteorites that are not capable of causing significant harm to the flora and fauna of our planet, however, managed to cause a grandiose dusting of the atmosphere, which caused a strong cooling. The consequences of this cooling resulted in a whole ice age, at the end of which we live.

There is other evidence that Phaeton could explode in front of our distant ancestors. In some regions of the Sahara, many fragments of meteorites have been found that do not have any exact impact sites in the form of large craters. One gets the impression that the stones literally "fell from the sky." Radiocarbon analysis carried out with them suggests that the oxidation of the carbon contained in them occurred at about the same time, about 25 thousand years ago.
The clue to Phaeton's death may be solved in the coming years. And the first steps have already been taken. In 2010, the first spacecraft landed on the surface of an asteroid.

The space probe Dawn ("Dawn") is sent to the asteroid belt, which is likely to give answers to many questions about the myth of Phaethon and the origin of the asteroid belt.

Discovery of Titius

Planet Phaeton is one of the greatest mysteries of the Universe. It is called the progenitor of asteroids and comets. Phaeton's orbit, according to the most popular hypothesis, was between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. Then, due to unclear circumstances, the planet allegedly disintegrated or exploded and formed an asteroid belt. And now its fragments travel between the orbits of two large celestial bodies. But was there really a planet? And if so, what happened to her? Only today, when space telescopes were able to look into the most remote corners of the Universe, scientists got the opportunity to get closer to the answer to this ancient mystery.

In general, Phaeton was originally calculated on the tip of a pen. The discovery was made by the German physicist and mathematician Johann Daniel Titius (1729-1796). In 1766, he found a numerical pattern in the distances of the planets from the Sun. According to Titius, it turned out that if we write a series of numbers 0, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96 and add to each of these numbers (components, starting from the second, a geometric progression with a denominator 2) by 4, then we get a new series of numbers 4, 7, 10, 16, 28, 52, 100, which quite accurately expresses the successive distances of all the planets from the Sun.

“Pay attention to the distances between neighboring planets, and you will see that almost all of them increase in proportion to the radii of the orbits themselves,” Titius wrote in his works. - Take the distance from the Sun to Saturn as 100 units, then Mercury will be removed from the Sun by 4 such units; Venus - by 4+3=7 of the same units, Earth - by 4+6=10; Mars - by 4+12=16. But look, between Mars and Jupiter there is a deviation from this such an exact progression. After Mars, there should be a distance of 4 + 24 = 28 units, at which now we do not see either a large planet or a satellite ... "

Johann Daniel Titius strongly believed that there must be something there, but suggested that “this distance, without a doubt, belongs to the as yet undiscovered satellites of Mars ... After this distance unknown to us, Jupiter's orbit is obtained at a distance of 4 + 48 = 52 units, and then the distance of Saturn itself is 4+96=100 such units. What an amazing ratio!

However, in this sequence there was one "unoccupied" place - there was no planet, which should have been between Mars and Jupiter, at a distance of about 2.8 AU. e. from the Sun.

Sky Police Squad

The Titius formula, meanwhile, worked properly, proving the correctness of the calculations. So, already in 1781, Uranus was discovered, by the way, at a distance that almost exactly coincides with that predicted by the rule of Titius. After that, the search for the missing planet began. For this, a group of two dozen astronomers was formed, which became known in the press as the “Sky Police Detachment”. In 1801 - a new discovery. The director of the observatory in Palermo (Sicily), Giuseppe Piazzi, discovered a dwarf planet in the right orbit, which was named Ceres in honor of the patron goddess of Sicily. And over the next decade, three more objects were found: in 1802 - Pallas, in 1804 - Juno and in 1807 - Vesta.

All of these planets moved at about the same distance from the Sun as Ceres - 2.8 astronomical units (about 420 million kilometers). It was this circumstance that allowed the German astronomer and physician Heinrich Olbers in 1804 to hypothesize that small planets (they are also called asteroids, "star-like") occurred as a result of the explosion of a planet whose orbital radius was at a distance of 2.8 astronomical units. Not mistaken Titius!

Later, a whole belt of asteroids was discovered, which is located just where the hypothetical planet should have been. According to one hypothesis, it collapsed under the influence of the powerful gravity of Jupiter. That is, the planet was "torn apart" by the gravitational fields of Mars and Jupiter.

Johann, you are wrong!

There were also skeptics. Their point was that calculations made to determine how asteroids moved in the past showed that they were never part of the same planet. The argument is the small total mass of asteroids and the practical impossibility of the formation of a large object such as a planet in the area of ​​the solar system experiencing strong gravitational perturbations from Jupiter. Thus, skeptics concluded that the main asteroid belt is not a destroyed planet, but a planet that could not form due to the gravitational influence of Jupiter and, to a lesser extent, other giant planets.

The rule of Titius was also criticized. It has not yet received its theoretical justification, because, according to some cosmogonists, it does not contain any physical meaning.

There were enthusiasts who even tried to reconstruct a distant history. So, the Moscow astronomer Alexander Chibisov, using the methods of celestial mechanics, tried to theoretically "gather" asteroids together and determine the approximate orbit of the parent planet. But the astronomer's conclusion was unequivocal: based on modern data on the movement of asteroids, it is impossible to determine either the area where the planet exploded, or the orbit along which it moved before the explosion. And the Azerbaijani scientist G. F. Sultanov calculated how the fragments should be distributed in space when the planet breaks, then compared the obtained data with the existing distribution of asteroids. And again the result was not in favor of Phaeton. The differences in the distribution are so great that there is no reason to talk about the explosion of a celestial body, the researcher concluded.

But after all, it can be assumed that under the influence of planetary disturbances over a time comparable to the age of the solar system, the orbits of asteroids have become so entangled that it is simply impossible to restore the initial conditions?

Weighty word of Themis

And in October 2009, a small but crack appeared in the evidence of skeptics. Astronomers at the University of Central Florida have announced that they have discovered water on asteroid 24 Themis. They say that its presence on the surface of a block with a diameter of under 200 kilometers can be judged from the spectral pattern obtained using the NASA infrared telescope installed in the Hawaiian
islands.

Thus, scientists confirmed last year's discovery of their colleagues from Johns Hopkins University, who worked on the Search for Extraterrestrial Civilizations (SETI) program. It turns out that there really is water on the asteroid, since two independent teams of researchers are talking about it. Moreover, both teams also claim that traces of organic molecules have been found on the surface of Themis.

A few years earlier, using the Hubble orbital telescope, water was found on a much larger cosmic body - on the giant asteroid Ceres with a diameter of 950 kilometers. And on the asteroid Vesta (about 600 km) ... They, by the way, are also located between Jupiter and Mars. Ceres, according to scientists, generally consists of a quarter of water. And other asteroids have tails. Like comets. There is only one explanation for this phenomenon: they also probably have water. And the tails are traces of its evaporation.

There are no intelligible answers to the question about the origin of ice on asteroids. So, after all, Phaeton existed? And the water used to be in the oceans of Phaeton, and the organic molecules remained from its inhabitants?

Perhaps, say serious scientists. But at the same time, without explaining the nature of asteroid water, they believe that falling at one time to Earth along with its "carriers", it could well fill the oceans of our planet. As well as comets, which were previously considered the only possible "water carriers".

It remains to wait for "Dawn"

The ancient riddle of the Universe about the planet Phaethon will still be solved thanks to a space expedition. The space probe Dawn ("Dawn") is sent to the asteroid belt. It's been flying for two years now. The goal is to get to the two largest objects in the asteroid belt. The first of them is Vesta, the rendezvous is scheduled for October 2011. The ship is equipped with electric ion engines, which are powered by solar panels.

This is an expedition that the scientific community has been waiting for since interplanetary spaceflight became possible, says mission leader Christopher Russell of the University of California, Los Angeles.

By exploring objects in the asteroid belt, scientists hope to obtain unique data that will answer the question of how our solar system was formed. And what role did the mysterious Phaeton play in it.

And then some Marduk appears ...

In the 1960s, the legendary Soviet ufologist and astronomer Felix Siegel calculated that the diameter of Phaethon could be 6,880 kilometers - slightly larger than the diameter of Mars. Further, astronomers, carried away by the idea, calculated that the destruction of the planet occurred about 16 million years ago.

The date of the crash is considered highly controversial. As well as the causes of the cataclysm itself.

In many science fiction works, the idea is played up that the planet was blown up by local residents during a thermonuclear war. This version is the basis of Alexander Kazantsev's novels "Phaeta" and Mikhail Chernolussky's "Phaeton", Oles Berdnik's stories "Catastrophe", "The Arrow of the Hour" (Russian: "The Arrow of Time") and Konstantin Brandyuchkov's "The Last Angel", Georgy Shakh's story "Death Phaeton.

But, perhaps, the planet collapsed under the influence of the gravitational fields of more massive cosmic bodies. Such a hypothesis was put forward in Georgy Martynov's novels Stargazers and Guest from the Abyss. The phaeton found itself in the path of some superdense body that was falling on the Sun. Phaeton's orbit began jerkily stretching towards Jupiter, and it all ended in a global catastrophe. But the inhabitants of the ill-fated planet managed to go away on their starships, and then settled in the Vega system.

Alexander Levin's story "The Death of Phaethon" presents a hypothesis of the formation of the solar system. The nearest giant to the Sun - Phaethon - had a complex and unstable system of satellites disintegrated. They became the inner planets. And the very core of Phaethon, damaged by gravity, turned into the planet Uranus - the only one of all that rotates "lying on its side", that is, Uranus' own axis of rotation passes through the plane of the planet's orbit.

The asteroid Ida with the satellite Dactyl is a fragment of Phaethon. According to Sumerian mythology, in our universe there was a planet with an elongated orbit, Marduk, which accidentally fell into the solar system. The fact that the trajectory of its movement first ran past Neptune, and then Uranus, suggests that the planet moved clockwise, in the opposite direction to the movement of the other planets around the Sun. The general effect of the attraction of all other planets led Marduk to the very center of the solar system, as a result, he collided with the planet Tiamat (Phaeton). Scientists who adhere to traditional views are not inclined to mix aliens and unknown "Marduks" into the cataclysm. Perhaps, some say, Phaeton died as a result of volcanic activity. Others believe that the reason is the centrifugal force that tore the planet apart due to its too rapid daily rotation. Some assume that he simply stumbled upon his own satellite.

Well, according to academician Otto Schmidt (1891-1956), Jupiter is to blame for everything, and only he. And it happened at the dawn of the birth of the planets, about 4 billion years ago. At that time, the young Sun was surrounded by a gas and dust cloud, and the dust layer was concentrated in the equatorial region, in the plane where the planets now rotate. The velocities of the dust grains in the layer were relatively small, so the dust grains quickly stuck together, and bodies (planetesimals) were formed in a relatively short time, comparable in size to modern asteroids. Due to the specific conditions in the protoplanetary cloud, the process of the birth of planetesimals proceeded most rapidly in the region of the orbit of the current Jupiter. The largest planetesimal had a priority in growth - it intensively attached neighboring bodies to itself, turning into the core of the future Jupiter. When the mass of the nucleus reached several masses of the Earth, it began to effectively "swing" the orbits of the planetesimals closest to it and throw them out of its feeding zone. The forces were so great that planetesimals "shoot through" the inner regions of the emerging solar system, up to the orbit of modern Mercury. It is believed that the area where the asteroid belt is now located is the most affected. During collisions, the protoasteroids could no longer unite, the fragmentation process began to prevail over the growth process. So the growing Jupiter stopped the growth of the planet closest to itself. It is possible that the mass of Mars remained small precisely because of these processes.

It turns out that at some initial stage of its development, proto-Jupiter worked like a sling, scattering neighboring planetesimals in all directions. The mass of matter taken out of the solar system by Jupiter and other giant planets could reach several hundred Earth masses. Part of the planetesimals left the solar system forever, the other part returns to us from time to time in the form of comets.

They multiply quickly...

By 1860, 62 asteroids were already known, by 1870 - 109, by 1880 - 211, by 1923 - 1000 ... According to the Institute of Theoretical Astronomy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, by March 1998, 8443 asteroids were already listed in astronomical catalogs with a well-calculated orbit, given the name. As astronomers Robin Evans and Karl Stapelfeldt suggested after studying the Hubble images, there are approximately 300,000 bodies in the asteroid belt with a diameter of 1-3 kilometers and a huge amount of other little things.

Not all asteroids are in the belt between Mars and Jupiter. Some of them have completely different orbits and can even dangerously approach the Earth. Recently, newspapers and television channels reported that on Thursday, October 26, 2028, asteroid 1997 XF11 could crash into the Earth. But then everyone seemed to have calculated more accurately, and it turned out that Armageddon was canceled: the asteroid would pass at a distance of 960,000 kilometers from the Earth. But, of course, much less was said about this.

Where in the universe is it good to live?

This is a must-know, in case of any coming apocalypse. Where to run, where to fly?

Using the available data, astrophysicist Abel Mendes from the University of Puerto Rico has compiled a rating of habitable places in the solar system. He assigned each an appropriate index in accordance with the so-called standard of habitability developed by him - Standard Primary Habitability (SPH), which is measured in fractions of a unit.

Earth is not followed by Mars. It is ahead of the satellites of the giant planets. For example, Saturn's moon Enceladus, under the ice of which, most likely, there is heated water. And Jupiter's moon Europa, where, according to assumptions, there is also water. It is believed to contain much more oxygen than was commonly believed until now. According to Mendes, some
asteroids.

Mythical planet Phaeton

In 1804, the German physician and astronomer G. Olbers, analyzing the discovery of small planets, hypothesized that these celestial bodies appeared as a result of one large planet split into pieces, the orbital radius of which was just at a distance of 2.8 astronomical units. She received the name Phaeton.

At first, Olbers' hypothesis was accepted quite favorably in the circles of astronomers. However, when the number of discovered asteroids began to number in the hundreds and families and groups with characteristic orbital parameters were discovered among this variety, opponents appeared for the hypothesis. They believed that a huge number of diverse asteroids indicates that the planet was not destroyed immediately, but gradually: first it broke up into several pieces, then these pieces began to break up, forming various sets of small planets with the corresponding characteristics.

In principle, it was not so important. Another thing was more important: what caused the destruction of the mythical planet?

Various hypotheses have been proposed to answer this question. Some astronomers adhered to the version that it collapsed as a result of active volcanic activity. Others believed that the cause of the giant catastrophe was the fall of a large space object on Phaeton, which was comparable in size to a natural satellite.

But any hypothesis, in order to become a generally accepted theory, must have proper argumentation. One of these arguments could be meteorites: after all, in fact, many of them must be fragments of Phaethon.

Indeed, among the meteorites, the so-called "tektites" were discovered - vitreous natural bodies of various shapes and sizes. They were completely melted and had a characteristic surface structure.

In general, there is still no generally accepted theory about the formation of tektites: some scientists assume that these are meteorites, others tend to consider them the result of the processes that occur during the fall of meteorites.

So, in terms of composition, structure and other parameters, they are very similar to vitreous slags that accompany ground-based nuclear explosions. In this case, if tektites are really glass meteorites, then they were formed from some large cosmic bodies as a result of nuclear explosions.

However, in any case, the presence of tektites testified that somewhere in the vast expanses of the solar system a very powerful explosion had occurred. But whether he is connected with the hypothetical Phaeton or not remained a mystery.

Olbers' hypothesis was first seriously tested in the fifties of the last century. It was then that the young Azerbaijani astronomer Hajibek Sultanov set himself the task of determining the initial parameters of Phaeton's orbit.

But the conclusions that the scientist came to after twelve years of hard work were very far from the hypotheses that many astronomers proposed. Sultanov noted that the observed distribution of asteroids cannot be explained by the collapse of one planet. Moreover, he proved that the 12 groups of asteroids that were known at that time were so independent from each other that they could only arise if there were at least 12 Phaetons in orbit.

In addition, when studying iron meteorites, data were obtained indicating that various groups of these “heavenly stones” were formed under conditions with unequal temperature and pressure conditions, as well as under different circumstances of heating and cooling. But this could not happen in the depths of one planet.

And, of course, in the bowels of a huge planet, any crystalline structure would be destroyed. But, as the analyzes showed, iron meteorites retained such a structure. Scientists believe that just the meteorite substance that they managed to study could form and evolve to its current state only in celestial bodies the size of an asteroid.

It would seem that Olbers' hypothesis, after such crushing blows, lost all right to exist. However, in the early 1970s, studies appeared in which some astronomers tried to give a new breath to the idea of ​​the planet Phaethon.

And they were initiated by the English astronomer Michael Ovenden, who in 1972, based on complex mathematical calculations, came to the conclusion that if the laws that characterize the movement of satellites of large planets are applied to the solar system as a whole, then an unexpected result will be obtained. Namely, in the region of the asteroid belt there should be another planet, the mass of which is 90 times greater than the Earth. This planet, according to Ovenden's calculations, broke up 16 million years ago.

Unexpectedly, the American astronomer Van Flandern agreed with the Englishman's version, who also suggested that the broken up mythical planet gave rise not only to asteroids, but also to long-period comets. Indeed, as a result of their analysis, it was found that most of them pass exactly through the place where Phaethon was supposed to be, that is, through the asteroid belt. However, Flandern's calculations showed that the time of the destruction of the planet occurred not 16, but 5 million years ago. As a result, the problem turned out to be even more confusing.

But no sooner had Ovenden's theory come into being than it was immediately subjected to massive criticism. And there were good reasons for this. For example, the hypothesis could not explain why suddenly such a massive planet, which is only slightly smaller than Saturn, collapsed.

Moreover, when astronomers from the Edinburgh Observatory tried to reconstruct the possible course of Phaeton's destruction, they came to the conclusion that neither a sharp release of chemical or nuclear energy, nor gas pressure in the bowels of the planet could cause its death.

They could not cause the death of Phaethon and the force of gravity of Jupiter, since the response of the mythical planet should have influenced the location of its satellites. And to return them to their previous state, even such a giant as Jupiter, it would take at least 2 billion years. But the catastrophe, as you know, occurred no more than 16 million years ago ...

A no less crushing blow to Ovenden's hypothesis was dealt by the famous Irish astrophysicist Ernst Julius Epic, who showed that the explosion of Phaethon would also lead to the destruction of life on Earth. First, the radiant energy of the explosion would have reduced the surface of our planet to ashes, and three months later it would have exposed the planet to a massive stream of particles and gases. Moreover, the energy that could be generated during the explosion of Phaeton would be enough to evaporate a layer of water 20 meters thick on Earth. However, according to paleontology, there were no global catastrophes on Earth at that time.

In addition, the explosion of such a massive planet would increase the density of matter in the solar system many times over. And the sky at the same time would glow 5000 times brighter than now. The most important thing is that such an explosion would not form asteroids. All the matter of the planet would turn into steam and small fragments up to 25 meters in diameter. And if we assume that the asteroids existed before the explosion, then they would fall on the surface of Phaethon when they meet him and under the influence of his gravitational forces.

It seems that everything is clear with the hypothetical Phaethon: there was no such planet. But the geologist I.A. unexpectedly joined in its development. Rezanov. He believes that Phaeton was formed, like other planets, from a gas and dust cloud. It was the size of Mars, that is, it had a radius of about 3000 kilometers and was surrounded by a powerful hydrogen atmosphere.

And 4.5 billion years ago, a cosmic object the size of the moon collided with Phaethon. As a result of a giant impact, the outer hundred-kilometer-long crust of the planet turned into large and small fragments that became asteroids. Some of the fragments turned into comets.

But, according to Rezanov, the hydrogen atmosphere could also play a role, which, together with other factors, led to a “gas explosion”.

It is possible that the instantaneous release of enormous kinetic energy from this fall gave rise to thermonuclear reactions in the protostar, which caused the Sun to glow.

Moreover, the atmospheres of the terrestrial planets (Venus, Earth, Mars) warmed up to such temperatures at which they quickly lost hydrogen.

Phaeton, after this explosion, existed for about 300-400 million years, and then began to collapse a second time. This process ended about 3.6 billion years ago.

The same traces of primitive life that were found in some meteorites give grounds for the assumption that during this short (by cosmic standards) period of time, a hydrosphere and even a primitive biosphere could have appeared on Phaethon!

How did it happen? It's hard to say, but you can guess. Perhaps the surface of the young planet was a clay plain. Life could appear in the cracks of rocks, where the conditions necessary for this were formed. It flowed mainly underground, in all layers of the secondary crust of the planet, especially in its upper clay layer ...

Since ancient times, people have been looking for an answer to the question - how is the Earth on which they live arranged? Various versions arose: the Earth is a disk that rests on the backs of 3 elephants, which, in turn, stand on a huge turtle that swims in the ocean; or the Earth is a disk located on the backs of 3 whales, and the sky is a dome held by giant Atlanteans.

Today, every schoolchild knows the structure of our solar system: that the earth is round, that it, like the other eight planets, revolves around the sun in a spiral orbit.

The asteroid field, located in a fairly large space between Mars and Jupiter, is a long-standing mystery for scientific astronomers. And there are many versions and hypotheses about this. So, even in ancient times, astronomers were surprised by this position of the planets. Many agreed that there should be another planet in this place, but they could not find it.

And so, on the night of January 1, 1801, the Italian astronomer from Palermo, Giuseppo Piacius, discovered Tsetser - the first largest asteroid between Mars and Jupiter. Its diameter was approximately 770 km. Then other asteroids were discovered: Pallas, Juno, Vesta.

So what is it? Where they expected to find one large planet, 4 small ones were found?!

To date, about 2000 asteroids are known. They are all different sizes and weights. Maybe all these asteroids are a trace of the death of some large body? It turned out that if this entire asteroid belt was "folded" into one body, then a planet with a diameter of about 5900 km would be obtained. At one time, the Soviet astronomer S. Orlov suggested calling this now non-existent planet Phaethon, after the name of the mythical hero.

So was Phaeton really? Scholars are divided on this issue. Some argue that the planet never existed. For example, the opinion of our Odessa astronomers is as follows: during the formation of the planets of the solar system, in this place the planet could not be formed due to too strong Jupiter, which, by its gravity, did not give such an opportunity for small pieces to form into one big whole.

However, studies by another number of scientists indicate that yes, indeed, a planet once existed in this place.

The structure of the deceased Phaethon was theoretically reconstructed by Academician Zavaritsky, who considered iron meteorites to be fragments of the planetary core, stone ones - the remains of the crust, and iron stone ones - fragments of the mantle. Phaeton could also have a hydrosphere and a biosphere. Then the fall of meteorites from sedimentary rocks is explained, and numerous finds of traces of life in meteorites over the past 30-40 years in different parts of the globe.

Based on these facts, it can be almost unambiguously established that the planet existed in reality and even, perhaps, was inhabited. Then why did she die? Here again opinions differ. Now there are many versions of this event: some are inclined to think that the planet broke up during super-powerful processes of a volcanic nature; others, like, for example, our Odessa astronomers, nod at the influence of the same powerful neighbor Jupiter, whose gravitational force at one fine moment tore the poor little Phaethon apart. However, for a long time, scientists cannot explain the mystery of tektites. Extract from TSB: Tektites are vitreous natural bodies of various shapes and sizes, entirely, melted and having a characteristic structural surface. There is still no generally accepted hypothesis of their origin: some consider them to be meteorites; others - that they were formed as a result of meteorites falling to Earth. However. In their composition, structure, dehydration, and all other parameters, they are surprisingly similar to vitreous slags formed during ground-based nuclear explosions. As Felix Siegel, one of the researchers of this problem, pointed out: If tektites are really glass meteorites, it will be necessary to admit that their formation from some large cosmic bodies was accompanied by nuclear explosions.

So, the version that Phaethon broke up, due to a surface explosion, begins to gain ground. These super-powerful explosions melted Phaeton's surface sedimentary rocks into vitreous slags. This means that Phaethon was inhabited. But the causes of these explosions remain a mystery. And for some reason, the thought of the final "chords" of the war between its inhabitants comes to the minds of scientists.

And what information about these events does the "Order of the Zodiac" have?

So, Phaeton (as earthly scientists called it) really existed. Its mass was approximately equal to the mass of the Earth. The planet itself was called Viceya. The biological structure of the people who lived on it was practically the same as ours. At the same time, the Earth had not yet entered the region possible for biological life, and was much closer to the Sun. In this area there was another inhabited planet - Vicea or Phaeton in our opinion. The civilization that existed on the planet was very advanced, but unlike our humanity, they were Creators, they could create at the field level, i.e. fulfilled the main task of the Creator. But, because we know that the planets move in a spiral orbit and gradually move away from the Sun, Vicea began to move out of the realm of biological life. The inhabitants of the planet had this information. They knew that our planet would enter the realm of biological life, and they received permission from the Creator to make the Earth their second home. But who wants to leave their first home without trying to save it? And Vice-Phaethon decided to try to extend the existence of intelligent life on their planet. After all, they really were experimenters and co-creators in the big sense of the word. A project was developed, according to which artificial radioactive suns filled with fuel were created. They were brought into a near-planet orbit so that they could warm the cooling Phaeton. Faeta's vice-vices calculated everything, and even more than that, there clearly could not have been an error in their calculations. But some random component, independent of them, played its fatal role. The inclusion of these suns did not happen in a chain, as it was intended, but all at once. There was a thermonuclear explosion of such a high power that it tore apart the matrix of the planet, Vicei's satellite was thrown into another orbit and now it appears in our solar system once every 3600 years, and in order not to break away from the Sun, it was forced to increase its mass. The planet died, and in its place is now an asteroid belt.

As you can see, scientists know about Phaeton's satellite, but they consider it to be some kind of planet. Are there too many coincidences in the information provided by the Order of the Zodiac and the conclusions of scientists.
