For a year and a half, the Filyovskaya metro line has been undergoing reconstruction, while trains with passengers continue to run along the branch line. People are patient with inconveniences - as an alternative, they were offered to make repairs faster, but at the same time close the line completely. The views of the renovated stations, where work has already been completed, help to come to terms with the repair, passengers say that they have nothing in common compared to the previous ones. Correspondents of "RG" also rode along the branch and saw the line in all its glory - present and future.

Metro Renovation

The Filevskaya blue line is also called the "subway khrushchoba". It, like the infamous five-story buildings, was built in the 60s in the cheapest and fastest open way. Therefore, over the course of 60 years, the structures were rather dilapidated under the rain, winds and snow - in some places reinforcement was already sticking out from under the crumbling concrete. Reconstruction began in October 2016. Now, all the way along the branch, passengers are being followed by audio announcements: “The exit from the Bagrationovskaya station from the last two cars is closed” or “The train will proceed to the Kutuzovskaya station without stopping.” Announcements change regularly as the work progresses.

Coastal stations - this is where there are two platforms and an exit from the doors on the right - they do it in a checkerboard pattern: they close one platform, then another. To get to such a station closed on one side, you need to drive forward and then return by the return train. At the "island" stations, where trains stop near one common platform, they are closed in parts. For example, at Filevsky Park it is now impossible to get out of the eastern vestibule and the last two cars if you are driving from the center, or the first two cars if you are going in the opposite direction.

Since work is still going on at all stations, except for Studencheskaya, where repairs have already been completed, traveling along the branch line sometimes turns into a not the easiest quest. If you listen and read the announcements inattentively, you can slip past your station several times, as happened with me. At "Filyovsky Park", where I needed to go, trains "from the center" do not stop, and at the next "Pionerskaya" it is impossible to get out of the last two cars where I was just driving. It was possible to "turn around" only on "Kuntsevskaya".

We have already got used to it, - passenger Alexei Mishutin, who works at Gorbushka near Filevsky Park, shared with RG. “But those who travel for the first time often get confused.”

Disassemble and reassemble

Both onshore and island platforms, the scope of work is approximately the same. Platforms are surveyed and sometimes demolished under the base, after which they are built anew. There is a deep reconstruction of foundations, walls, columns, platforms and vestibules, engineering systems. In addition, the tracks are being repaired - recently, traffic along the entire line was closed for the weekend. The station "Studencheskaya" was the first to undergo reconstruction. In its interiors, one can now hardly recognize what was here a year and a half ago: granite floor instead of terrible asphalt, tactile tiles on the edges of the platform, a heated canopy, new navigation on the walls and floor, stained-glass windows and windows instead of blank walls.

Trains, stations, and lobbies will be updated on the line. There will be the most modern trains "Moskva", adapted for work in the open air

After the completion of the work, all stations will be like this, they promise in the metro. "Today, the reconstruction has been fully completed at the Studencheskaya station of the ground section of the Filevskaya line," says Dmitry Doshchatov, deputy head of the metropolitan metro. "and" Kutuzovskaya ". In the summer, the reconstruction of the Fili station will be fully completed. The main part of the work has already been completed here, the station is open to passengers."

Trains will also come to match the new stations. As Maxim Liksutov, deputy mayor for transport, said, "Moskva" trains with a special layout will operate on the Filevskaya line. Since the line is open, the trains will be coated with a special compound that prevents the coating from fading in the sun and protects from snow and rain. Cabins and interior will be insulated, and the floor will be heated. Doors will be opened with a button, as in the "Lastochki" MCC, to save heat. And in the first and last carriages, at the request of passengers, for the first time in the Moscow metro, the seats will be placed facing each other according to the two plus one pattern - so that you can admire the views opening outside the windows.

In the west of Moscow, traffic restrictions are being introduced due to work on the reconstruction of the Kuntsevskaya station on the Filevskaya line. Until what date the metro will be closed, which highways will be blocked, the city officials report.

Moscow authorities warn of temporary inconvenience for motorists who are forced to pass near the Kuntsevskaya metro station. Reconstruction is underway here, in connection with this, according to the transport department of the capital, traffic restrictions are being introduced on two streets adjacent to the station.

Which streets will be closed and for how long?

Work on the modernization of the Kuntsevskaya line and the section of the Filevskaya line from the Studencheskaya station will last from June 1 to August 25, 2018. During the same period, motorists will not be able to drive along Moskovskaya and Malaya Filevskaya streets at their intersection with Rublevsky highway. Only public transport is allowed on these streets.

“Overlappings due to the extension of the terms of work on the reconstruction of the Kuntsevskaya metro station will be introduced from June 1 to August 25 around the clock in two sections,” the information center of the Moscow transport complex said in a statement.

Service life of the Filevskaya line of the Moscow metro

The Filevskaya line of the metropolitan subway has been operating since 1958, during this period its infrastructure has seriously deteriorated: according to experts, the deterioration of the main engineering systems and components is more than 70%. The renovation should be completed by mid-2018.
