Rules for admission to SamGUPS for higher education programs published
Basic information from the program admission rules higher education:
Documents are being accepted for admission at the address Samara, st. Svobody, 2B from June 17, 2016 and ends on the following dates (except for persons residing in Crimea):
- July 16 - for full-time education for state-funded places from persons entering according to the results of entrance examinations conducted by SamGUPS independently (hereinafter referred to as internal entrance examinations, VVI);
- July 26 - full-time form for budget places from persons entering only on the basis of the results of the Unified State Examination;
- August 12 - for part-time education from persons entering on the basis of the results of the VVI, as well as for full-time education at places with tuition fees from persons entering on the basis of the results of the VVI;
- August 19 - for part-time education from persons entering according to the results of the Unified State Examination, as well as for full-time education for places with tuition fees from persons entering according to the results of the Unified State Examination;
- August 10 - for all forms of education from persons entering the Master's programs.
In addition, documents will also be accepted in other cities in the regions where SamGUPS operates, but in a shorter time frame. .
An exhaustive list of documents is given in paragraph 6.17 of the rules for admission to higher education programs, it can be summarized as follows:
- identity document, citizenship (passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, if any);
- document on education (certificate, diploma or other available);
- documents confirming special rights for admission and rights for special conditions when passing entrance examinations (for more details, see clause 6.17 of the admission rules);
- documents confirming individual achievements.
For admission to SamSUPS for any specialty or area of study based on the results of the Unified State Examination, it is necessary to pass mathematics at the profile level.
Admission to budget places in full-time is carried out in two stages: Stage 1 - enrollment on August 3 for 80% of budget places; Stage 2 - enrollment on August 8 for the remaining 20% of budget places.
To enroll in state-funded places, you must submit an application for consent to enrollment, to which is attached the original document on education (certificate or diploma); This application is mandatory and enrollment is impossible without it! You can submit an application for consent to enrollment simultaneously with the submission of documents.
The competition is held in specialties and areas of training in general, without division into specializations and profiles. The division into specializations and profiles will be carried out in accordance with the internal normative act of SamGUPS after the first two years of study.
Within the framework of budgetary places, a special quota and a target quota are allocated. Unfilled places within the designated quotas are transferred to the general competition on July 29th. Thus, the number of places in the general competition can be increased during the admission process, so you should carefully follow the information on the official website.
Persons entering on the basis of existing secondary vocational or higher education have the right to take internal entrance examinations (hereinafter referred to as IATs) conducted by SamGUPS independently. Primary vocational education obtained on the basis of secondary (complete) general education or simultaneously with secondary (complete) general education education, is equated to secondary vocational education and gives the right to take VVI. At the same time, these persons retain the right to enroll based on the results of the Unified State Examination. In 2016, the USE results obtained in 2012-2016 are valid. inclusive. To pass the exam in 2016, it was necessary to submit an appropriate application before February 1, 2016.
Upon admission to one of the following specialties or areas of training, a mandatory preliminary medical examination is required:

The number of budget places has been increased!
On August 29, unfilled places from the target and special quotas for full-time education were transferred to the general competition, about which an appropriate order was signed. As expected, the number of budget places in the general competition has increased significantly. You can already see the updated data in the Reception Plan subsection.
The data in the lists of applicants was also updated - in the so-called "green zone" there are now applicants who have submitted original documents and fall into an increased number of budget places.
Please note that in some specialties there are unfilled budget places that will be distributed among applicants who have submitted originals to SamGUPS before August 1 inclusive. Waiting for you!

Discounts for points!
Discounts are approved in the following amounts:
From 150 to 159 points - 5%;
from 160 to 169 points - 10%;
from 170 to 189 points - 20%;
from 190 to 199 points - 25%;
from 200 to 209 points - 30%;
from 210 to 219 points - 35%;
from 220 to 229 points - 40%;
from 230 to 239 points - 50%;
from 240 points - 100%.
Tuition discounts set for high USE scores are extended as long as the following conditions are met by students:
There are no violations of the Charter or the Internal Regulations of students, for which disciplinary sanctions are imposed;
there are no “satisfactory” grades and / or academic debt;
the number of ratings "good" - no more than 50% of the total number of ratings based on the results of the last two sessions, the rest of the ratings - "excellent".

SamGUPS increases the number of budget places
The expected number of places to be transferred from the target quota to the general competition is at least 117.
When submitting documents to the university, applicants, of course, pay attention to the number of budget places in a particular specialty - this helps to more objectively assess their chances of admission. The current competitive situation is reflected in the lists of applicants. When determining your place in the ranking, you must first take into account not your serial number, but the number of applicants who submitted originals with scores higher than yours, since admission to state-funded places occurs only on the basis of original education documents.
The transfer of unfilled target places to the general competition will take place on July 29, about which an appropriate order will be published on the website. Thus, the number of budget places in each specialty will increase quite significantly. If you have not yet submitted the original documents to SamGUPS - it's time to do it!

Especially for our applicants, we have prepared a calendar with the main dates that it is important not to miss in order to enter SamGUPS.
Until July 20 - submit documents to SamGUPS (in case of admission based on the results of entrance examinations). The next day after submitting the application, open the Lists of applicants, find your specialty and your last name in the rating, make sure that the copy / original and the need for a hostel are correctly indicated; prepare for the entrance examinations and pass them for the highest possible scores on time;
Until July 26 - submit documents to SamGUPS (in case of admission based on the results of the Unified State Examination). The next day after submitting the application, open the Lists of applicants, find your specialty and your last name in the rating, make sure that all USE scores, a copy / original and the need for a hostel are correctly indicated;
Until July 28 - submit the original document of education (certificate or diploma) to the admissions office if you are applying for a special or targeted quota. ATTENTION! WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL, ADDING IS IMPOSSIBLE!
