Rector of the Kazan branch of the Russian Academy of Justice. Kazan branch of the Russian State University of Justice

The Russian Academy of Justice was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 528 of 11.05.1998. and Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1119 dated October 28, 1999. The founders of the Kazan branch of the Russian Academy of Justice are the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation.

In 2001, the Kazan branch began its activity.
The main task of the Academy is the advanced training and retraining of judges and employees of the court apparatus, therefore, the faculty for advanced training was initially created in the Kazan branch, and in 2002 - the faculty for training specialists for the judiciary (law faculty). In 2004, a college was opened that prepares students for the program of secondary vocational education.

Heads KF RAP - Raisa RAKHMATULLINA.
The Russian Academy of Justice is the only state higher educational institution in Russia that provides continuous specialized training for future judges and employees of the court apparatus. Legal training starts early. The college accepts students who have completed grades 9, 11 of secondary schools. After graduating from college, graduates form a more conscious decision to continue their studies at the Academy.

Higher education at the Faculty of Law is received by persons with secondary general education, secondary vocational and higher education. In senior courses, attention is paid to a thorough study of the features of the organization and functioning of the judicial system. Along with highly qualified teaching staff, leading Russian judges and employees of the court apparatus take part in the training of students. Specialists with higher education can subsequently enter graduate school or improve their skills at the Academy.

The prestige of legal education in Russia is certainly high. This is confirmed by the high competition for admission to the university, especially for state-funded places, as well as the demand for qualified graduates of the Academy by employers.

At present, there is a need for well-trained specialists in the judicial system, primarily for qualified lawyers. The demand for graduates is explained by the presence in Russia of a large staff of judges - about 35 thousand people, and their number is steadily growing.

Today, more than 600 people study within the walls of the branch. In 2004, out of 18 graduates, 10 graduated from the university with honors. The quality of knowledge of graduates is confirmed by state attestation commissions.
In 2004, the competition for admission to the university was 2 people per place.

Admission campaign-2018: What new universities offer applicants?

Passing the Unified State Examination is over, but there is an equally important period ahead for graduates - to decide who to study and at which university. The legal direction is still in demand, there are corresponding faculties in many universities, so the choice should be approached responsibly. If a student has decided in which area of law he wants to work, then making the choice is even easier. For example, if you plan to build a career as a judge, then one of the options is the Russian State University of Justice - a university that trains specialists for the judiciary.

New directions at the university - new chances to find yourself in life

The Russian State University of Justice celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018. The university has 11 branches, one of them is located in Kazan. The Kazan branch was one of the first to open and has been leading its history since 2001. The university purposefully prepares specialists for the courts, so if an applicant decides to build a career in the judicial system, then this is the best option. Although the majority of graduates are employed in the courts, this is not the only field of activity - they find work in the prosecutor's office, and the investigative committee, and in commercial organizations, and the bar.

This year the university opened three new directions:

  1. "Judicial and Prosecutorial Activity" is a program of higher education at the "specialist" level with a training period of 5 years for full-time and 5 years 8 months for part-time. It provides for more in-depth training in the field of organizing judicial activities. A graduation diploma gives the right to work in leadership positions and enter graduate school. One of the advantages of the specialty is that the period of study is one year shorter than at the bachelor's and master's degrees. But the university also continues to train lawyers according to the two-tier Bologna system.
  2. "State and Municipal Management" is a master's program with a period of study of 2 years 3 months by correspondence. It will be of interest to those studying in the specialty "management" at the university, who previously could only get a bachelor's degree. This year, the university received a license for a master's program, giving graduates more opportunities.
  3. "Law and Judicial Administration" is a secondary vocational education program for 2 years 10 months. Graduates will be able to work in the judicial system.

At the numerous requests of graduates who wished to continue their education at our university, we opened the master's program "State and Municipal Administration". Having mastered it, it will be possible to work in federal government bodies, government bodies of subjects, local self-government, in various analytical structures interacting with government bodies, - says Alsu Garifullina, Deputy Director for Educational and Educational Work, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Public legal disciplines of the Kazan branch of RPMU.

This year, the Kazan branch of the Russian State University of Justice has opened three new directions

Please note that you can enter the Kazan branch of the Russian State University of Justice not only after the 11th grade, but also after the 9th grade, both for state-funded places and for places with payment of tuition fees. In the direction of "Law and judicial administration" there are 28 budget places, according to the program "Land and property relations" - 10. The level of secondary vocational education is in great demand. The average score of the certificate for applicants of previous years, entering the state-funded places, was 4.9. In the future, graduates of secondary vocational education can get higher education under an accelerated program, reducing the term of study by 1 year.
