We are on the verge of transition from subjectivity to objectivity, but for the transition to take place, a stage of self-purification is necessary. We declare our readiness for the transition through self-improvement, correction of any personal inclinations that should not be transferred from the subjective sphere of life to the objective one.

There are many ways of purification and self-improvement, but all ways recognize the need to find a teacher: either a person or a system of personal discipline, whose instructions can be followed.

The student kisses the feet of the teacher in the hope that he will be able to achieve the perfection that he sees before him. It doesn't matter if the teacher is actually a Realized Being, but what really matters is humility and a sincere desire to improve oneself through service, a willingness to throw off the old shell, to purify accumulated poisons through devotional service. This is the spiritual essence of the experience gained in the 6th house.

From a pragmatist's point of view, people want to work effectively. They want to achieve their goals. We see our own waste and inefficiency, and the 6th house gives us the experience we need to gradually improve ourselves to achieve tangible results.

And again, not everything is clear to me in the traditional interpretation of the house. I understand why sometimes the phrase "favorite animals and small animals" is placed in textbooks where the 6th house is discussed. This phrase reflects an unequal relationship. It is clear. But still, I have questions.

How appropriate is this phrase? How do you use it in interpretation? Very few of my clients have told me about small animals and how important pets are to them, so I don't spend much time analyzing these relationships.

Perhaps the animal rights movement will breathe life into this level of interpretation, we'll wait and see. I understand that it is interesting in terms of house symbolism, but I think that at this stage it is not one of the fundamental levels of interpretation of the 6th house, so the phrase “loved animals and small animals can only be considered a curious remark.

Since the 8th house is the subsequent house and is opposite the 2nd house, the quality of this House is value - the value acquired in interactions. But the Plutonian nature of the 8th house requires the abandonment of individuality in order to gain new value, significance. If you want to ascend to a new stage of development, to become better than you are, if you want to improve your life through union and merging with other people, then you must sacrifice something, something must die. Thus, in the classical interpretation, the 8th house is associated with death.

This is not a simple departure from life, but going beyond oneself and returning within oneself, a re-creation of the birth struggle. This is death and rebirth; a process that is carried out through deep partnerships and searching within yourself for what needs to be transformed. Such a process does not always take place literally in the presence of another person, but the aura of his influence is always nearby. When you reach the edge of the symbolic cliff called "Lovers' Leap", will your loved one jump with you? As with the second house, it is appropriate to talk about money when interpreting the 8th house, but for this house, as for the 2nd house, there is also a tendency to simplify the interpretation. The 8th house is the second house, which is interpreted too literally, and such a simplistic approach makes it difficult to understand the psychological meaning of the 8th house.

The eighth house is not for the cowardly. It takes the power of oak and the flexibility of willow to work through this house, because it is about change, and not just a change of form that happens many times, but real, without deception, change - a fundamental modification of personality.

Glory is very exciting, but quite often it turns against us. Ambition is like a drug, and a drug doesn't really get things done.

In addition to power and ordinary success, the 10th house also has to do with making progress in the spiritual life - taking full responsibility for one's own development, real growth as a person, which ultimately leads to contact with the Divine flowing through us. The condition of the 10th house shows what tasks need to be solved in order to mature, in order to achieve "true individuation", to use the terminology of Jung's followers.

This deeper level of interpretation shows how you make the maximum contribution to the development of the universe and, therefore, gain recognition; recognition not as a result of veneration, glory and power, but as a result of the work of your abilities in full force.

Achieving success in this house means that you have found a safe place on Earth - gained by consciously manifesting your personal divinity, gained by becoming a channel for a greater divinity, the universe itself.

In the twelfth house, there are cases that remain completely unknown to mankind, or become its property only a long time later, in particular, the direct work of a person with an egregor. When he learns all this, the bandage will be removed, he will be given perfect tools and a clear task, but he will be able to complete it only with the help of the acquired experience, knowledge and skills. The twelfth house educates a person in connection with the rest of the world, developing in him mercy, compassion (including towards enemies), the ability to selflessly forgive and believe people, having no reason for this.

The twelfth house is the house of mysticism, direct connection with the Absolute. It is not only religious trances and ecstasies; for example, the ultimate confidence in the correctness of one's life comes precisely in calm inner solitude (no matter how a person's life looks externally), when the feeling of truth comes in the form of reliable knowledge that leaves no room for doubt. Here a person develops humility, spiritual endurance, striving, higher will, selflessness and self-denial. Under the twelfth house, a person’s attitude to suffering is being worked out: one’s own, others and the world, therefore it is often associated with suffering and liberation from them: the twelfth house is a place of wound healing under the direct supervision of the Absolute.

A person has a completely different, reverent attitude to such knowledge: he feels that he is participating in the sacrament and does not demand anything, but only listens tensely and attentively, holding his breath and forgetting about distrust (it can come later).

At the first level of development of the twelfth house, a person, as much as he can, tries to ignore it and switch to others. The idea of ​​impersonal service is alien to him, since his service is always personal or indifferent (and mercenary), and the addressee is necessarily specific. This person avoids imprisonment and loneliness in any form, not finding anything good or pleasant in them, and he understands victims only if they are turned to himself, and this is the only type of the twelfth house that he recognizes.

If the twelfth house turns on in its imperative version, and a person, for example, ends up in a hospital bed or is forced to care for a seriously ill relative, then he tries to create an illusory reality for himself (dreams, fantasies, etc.) and go into it, forgetting as much as possible about his real circumstances, which seem terrible to him, especially compared to the rest of the world, free and happy. Humility for this person is identical to weakness, and he considers the concepts of fortitude and higher will to be speculative and demagogic. He suspects his hidden enemies only in the outside world, mainly in the form of secret intriguers, ill-wishers and envious people, who are waiting for the slightest mistake to pounce and drown him.

This person does not believe in hidden abilities and opportunities - his own and others', he treats the outcast and unfortunate with disgust (the lowest octave of compassion). His attitude to inner freedom as an alternative to the restriction of outer freedom is well described by the edification of the executioner leading the stubborn victim to the scaffold: "Freedom is a conscious necessity."

At the second level of development of the twelfth house, a person still does not understand what impersonal service is, but the situation when he is forced to spend some (not too much) amount of his time and effort on clearly (or almost) meaningless activities does not cause him strong protest: he relates them to the general imperfection of the world and is not inclined to pay too much emotional attention to them. In other words, a person makes insignificant forced sacrifices without tension, but does not attach any positive significance to them. A person has a negative attitude towards long periods of confinement (illness, forced loneliness), but short confinement can also be welcomed as an opportunity to disconnect from the world, lower the inner rhythm and relax; however, alone quickly begins to get bored. In the event of great misfortunes of loved ones, he is capable of compassion, sometimes mercy takes him by surprise, but usually not for long. He is not inclined to mercy, especially to enemies, and in general he is skeptical about this concept, but sometimes, unexpectedly for himself and contrary to his views, he can show it.

This person understands that in some life situations self-denial is necessary, sometimes someone has to sacrifice himself to others, but he himself would not like to be in this place; however, people who are capable of selfless behavior and actions, he respects and admires for the strength of their spirit. As before, he sees secret enemies only in the outside world and, assuming the actions of hidden enemies directed against him, he considers counterintrigue to be the most effective means of struggle; humility seems to him an extreme remedy that should be used when all methods of struggle have been exhausted, but this person appreciates the ability to put up with an obvious defeat. He has a negative attitude towards working with blunt tools, he admits hidden abilities and capabilities (his own and others'), but abstractly and with a significant degree of skepticism. At this level, the feeling of a person's mystical connection with the world is practically absent, but inner freedom as freedom of attitude to what is happening around him is already understandable to some extent.

At the third level of development of the twelfth house, impersonal service, that is, the state of a person when he does what needs to be done without receiving remuneration and without leaving any imprint of his personality on the results of his activities, is of great importance in his life. At such moments, he feels his need not for specific people or groups, but for something incomparably higher, but a person cannot accurately understand and express these feelings. Nevertheless, he has a positive attitude towards periods of forced confinement and loneliness, not only as opportunities to disconnect from the bustle of life, rest and rethink his picture of the world, but also perceive these states as creative, when thoughts, feelings and sensations come to him. obviously of extraneous origin, sometimes from very high planes of the subtle world.

Perhaps great mystical revelations do not come very often at this level, but as soon as a person is imprisoned, he has a feeling of a subtle connection with the whole world and some unusual and mysterious processes of interaction with his psyche and the subtle world begin to occur. At this level, a person is characterized by mercy and compassion, but he is attentive and insightful enough and knows how to distinguish the suffering of the soul from the suffering of the ego and is not sentimental. He understands the need for sacrifices and sacrificial labor and tries to make sacrifices to the extent that they are required of him, meekly, humbly and as joyfully as possible, feeling at these moments a mystical unity with the world. At this level, life suffering is rethought, which a person ceases to deny, perceiving it as an important kind of evolutionary work necessary at certain areas and stages of evolution. This person knows that he is endowed with very great hidden abilities, the key to which can only be found in the imprisonment of the twelfth house, and does not grumble when it becomes necessary to learn how to work with bad tools - he feels that this is only a preparatory stage necessary for realizing his true capabilities.

He sees his secret enemies mainly in his subconscious and tries to see them; external intrigues and intrigues of enemies concern him much less. At the fourth level of elaboration of the twelfth house, a person sees or guesses the impersonal will of the Absolute in many things that are happening around him. He sees karma well and considers direct service to the Absolute as a natural and most creative part of his (and others') life. He sees sacrifice and sacrifice not only where they are visible to others, but also in many other moments of life, and understands how and when they should be made, and most importantly, what role they play in the fate of people. Any karmic knot is untied as a result of a sacrifice, but it is not possible under any conditions, and sometimes it takes a long time to prepare for its bringing.

This person is characterized by the absence of external tension in situations of the twelfth house, his loneliness and self-sacrifice do not burden anyone, although they can often serve as an example.
