How to send a child to Sirius? Explaining and instructing

The Sirius Educational Center in Sochi is not even three years old, but today it is well known to many parents, especially now, when it is important that children have a good and at the same time useful summer vacation. the site tells why Sirius is called "Putin's lyceum", and is it true that "ordinary" children cannot get there?

What is "Sirius"?

This is an educational center that has been operating in Sochi year-round since the end of 2014. Every month, 600 children aged 10-17 come to Sirius. Their stay is designed for 24 days and is absolutely free for children, as well as the road from any region of the country to Sochi and back. In addition, Sirius provides educational programs for adults: we are talking about teachers who want to improve their skills. More than a hundred of them come to the center every month.

Teaching children is carried out by leading teachers from schools with a different "bias": physical and mathematical, chemical and biological, sports. Classes are also conducted by invited "stars", but we are talking about representatives of high art: academic music, classical ballet, painting. All this allows children to focus on those areas in which they show special abilities. Well, since we are still talking about schoolchildren, no one has canceled their obligation to master the general education program during the school year.

So after all, is it about studying or about rest?

Of course, more about the first than about the second. Sirius is an educational center. But along with the educational material, children receive a complex of wellness procedures here. They are also preparing various excursions, creative meetings, cultural and sports events - in a word, the same recreational and educational leisure that allows the child to have a good rest. After all, Sirius is located not just anywhere, but in Sochi! And if we are also talking about the summer months, when schoolchildren have legal vacations, it’s a beauty at all.

And how do you send your child there?

We are afraid that our answer will disappoint many. The statutory documents of Sirius state that the purpose of its work is the early identification, development and further professional support of children who have “showed outstanding abilities in the field of arts, sports, natural sciences, as well as those who have achieved success in technical creativity.”

Lesson from the president: Putin explained to a student why the state does not support the ruble

That is, as the press service of the center explained, in order to become a participant in the educational program at Sirius, one must not only have talent in a particular field of knowledge, in sports or in the arts. It is also important to be a participant in various creative and scientific competitions, subject school Olympiads or sports competitions. Moreover, it is obvious that the higher the level of these events, the better.

So Sirius is not a place for everyone?

Yes it is. You can’t just take and buy a ticket there for one or two shifts, as in a regular summer camp. Moreover, no tickets are sold there in principle - as already mentioned, staying at the center is free. If the child does not meet the selection criteria, he will not get into Sirius.

What if we do try?

On the Sirius website (by the way, it should be noted that the site is really very informative and useful) there is a section indicating the selection criteria. Conveniently, they are given separately for each of the areas in which the child may have talents. Have you carefully studied the section and think that there are chances? Then there, on the site, apply. Each application is considered by an expert council, which makes a decision based on the personal (or team, if required by the sports direction) achievements of the child. If you manage to convince the experts of the giftedness of the future student of the educational center, then you will soon receive a notification along with further instructions. The wait usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. This is the period from the closing date for applications until the decision of the expert council is announced.

Rejection came...

Do not despair! First, it is worth trying again - say, in a year. And use the time to replenish the "track record" with what will really impress the experts. Secondly, there is very good news: about 20 regions have already expressed a desire to create their centers according to the Sirius model, having signed appropriate agreements with the Talent and Success Foundation, which established the educational center in Sochi.

Ural Center "Sirius" for a thousand students can be built on Shartash

This means that many children who are not yet able to qualify for study at Sirius itself have a chance to take similar educational programs in their regions. And, perhaps, these sites will become a springboard for them to jump into Sochi.

The Fund signed the first agreement on the creation of a regional center with the Sverdlovsk Region in December 2016, and later similar agreements were signed with the Republic of Dagestan, the Tomsk Region, the Republic of Komi, the Primorsky Territory, and the Ulyanovsk Region. The Sverdlovsk Center will start operating as early as 2017; educational programs, a campus, and laboratories are currently being prepared. Teachers from Yekaterinburg study at Sirius, who will then work with gifted schoolchildren in their region.

It's clear. Well, what about Putin?

The President of Russia is the initiator of the creation of Sirius as another permanent facility based on the Olympic infrastructure in Sochi, which, by the way, is also mentioned on the official website of the educational center. Vladimir Putin also heads the board of trustees of Sirius. There, in addition to him, there are many more people who are somehow associated with the head of state. For example, the Presidium of the Board of Trustees is headed by ex-Minister of Education and now Presidential Aide Aleksey Fursenko. Board members are Anton Vaino, Dmitry Kozak, Igor Levitin, Vitaly Mutko, Vladimir Medinsky and Sergey Roldugin. Is it any wonder that Sirius works with the support and coordination of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Culture?

As part of the preparation of schoolchildren for the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad. J.K. Maxwell and preparing for the selection for the International Olympiads IJSO and IPHO, more than 200 young physicists were engaged in Sirius. Classes with them were conducted by teachers from leading specialized educational institutions in Russia. The shift was designed for students in grades 7-8. From the Novosibirsk region, 4 students of general education institutions took part in the shift, the trip of which was organized by the Regional Center for the Development of Creativity of Children and Youth with the participation of the Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk Region.

First of all, the guys were engaged in experimental physics. They learned to make the simplest installations, with the help of which, without having accurate instruments at hand, it is possible to determine the density of bodies and substances with a minimum error. Any Olympiad student should have such calculation methods. The rest of the time was devoted to the theory and culture of work design. It was important to correctly fill in the tables of results, according to which the graphs are built, since they are the main tools of the experimental physicist.

In addition to specialized classes, young physicists attended scientific lectures by Professor Boris Fine of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. The scientist told the children about his research and touched upon many important topics with the schoolchildren, including the basics of thermodynamics and experiments related to the method of nuclear magnetic resonance.

Talented people are talented in everything: in addition to specialized events, pupils of scientific and creative shifts showed themselves in other areas. The joint action of physicists and lyricists was participation in a large-scale educational project: the guys, together with tens of thousands of people around the world, wrote “Total Dictation” in Sirius. The text of the Russian writer Leonid Yuzefovich was dictated by the theater and film actor, director of television plays and documentaries, screenwriter, writer Veniamin Smekhov.

From April 24 to April 29, the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad named after I. J.K. Maxwell.

200 schoolchildren of grades 7 and 8 from 53 regions of the country, who successfully passed the competitive selection for the final stage of the Olympiad in Physics named after J.K. Maxwell, presented their works to the experts. As part of the April educational session, young physicists of Sirius participated in the final stage of the J.K. Maxwell Olympiad, which has been held for more than 10 years at the initiative of the Central Subject-Methodological Commission in Physics. All schoolchildren admitted to participate went through a serious competitive selection.

The Olympiad consisted of two rounds. The first - experimental - the guys wrote on April 24th. The second - theoretical - April 26. 201 schoolchildren (100 eighth-graders and 101 seventh-graders) demonstrated their knowledge in the subject. The participants were evaluated by leading teachers of the country. Among the main experts are Artem Voronov, Chairman of the Central Subject-Methodological Commission of the All-Russian Olympiad in Physics, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Pre-University Training of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, gold medalist of the International Olympiad in Physics IPhO; member of the Central Subject-Methodological Commission in Physics, employee of the Laboratory for Work with Gifted Children of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Honorary Worker of General Education of the Russian Federation Mikhail Zamyatnin; Associate Professor of the Department of General Physics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Head of the Laboratory for Work with Gifted Children, jury member of the Maxwell Olympiad in Physics, jury member of the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren in Physics, coach of the national team in physics Valery Slobodyanin.

7th grade students Nikita Logvinenko (MBOU "Economic Lyceum", Novosibirsk) and Zhitov Daniil (MAOU Gymnasium No. 15 "Sodruzhestvo", Novosibirsk) became winners of the final stage of the Olympiad in Physics named after J.K. Maxwell.

The grand opening of the January educational session took place in Sirius. This time the Center brought together 723 schoolchildren from 64 regions of Russia. Young mathematicians, musicians, ballet dancers, artists, writers, figure skaters and hockey players came here to get new knowledge from the best teachers of the country.

At the opening ceremony, the schoolchildren were greeted by the head of the Talent and Success Foundation Elena Shmeleva. Elena Vladimirovna congratulated the children on the New Year and wished them success in their studies.

By tradition, the Educational Center accepts the most talented schoolchildren in Russia in four areas: "Art", "Literary Creativity", "Sport" and "Science". Choreography in January will be presented by three ballet schools, classes will be held under the guidance of teachers from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography. The educational program for young musicians is carried out jointly with the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory under the guidance of teachers from the Moscow Conservatory.

The teachers of the Academy of Watercolors and Fine Arts of Sergey Andriyaka will help the children to master the skill of watercolor painting. Supervising the shift, as well as conducting specialized master classes for pupils and teachers accompanying them, will be a full member of the Russian Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Sergey Andriyaka.

Writers will have an in-depth study of specialized subjects. The direction is supervised by Elena Ivanovna Kazakova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of St. Petersburg State University, Head of the Center for the Russian Language and Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Education.

Young athletes - hockey players and figure skaters - are waiting for exciting master classes, meetings with champions, tournaments and demonstration performances.

In the "Science" direction, the Educational Center accepts a mathematical shift, the work of which is organized jointly with the scientific and methodological Center for Pedagogical Excellence in Moscow. A feature of the shift will be the "School of Mathematics and Theoretical Informatics", within which teachers will conduct a series of classes to prepare schoolchildren for specialized Olympiads.

Classes at Sirius have just begun, and teachers are already noting great interest and thirst for new knowledge among the children.

Already in the first lessons, we can say that children want to learn: they literally absorb new information. Schoolchildren's eyes burn - the feeling that they are ready to work 24 hours a day. The lecture, which the guys could attend at will, was sold out - the hall was full. I think that our country needs such centers as Sirius, first of all, so that children can see how much the state and society appreciate their talent, - emphasized Maxim Pratusevich, director, teacher of mathematics at the Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 239 (St. Petersburg) , Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Honorary Worker of General Education of the Russian Federation.

This morning I was finishing a channeling about the star Jenah and the transition of the Earth under the new leadership of the constellation Cygnus. And turned to priestess of Inner Earth Kar-i. Corey Good told us about it in detail. In the illustration on it you see a keychain with the symbol of Sirius.

In the evening I was engaged in the kitchen, when suddenly Kar-i got in touch.

Kar-and I'm listening to you!

You asked how we are doing, and how life develops in the inter-earth? So, I want to make you happy o we have overcome the crisis, and our people are all starting a new life in the next dimension. We have created such a portal of time that suits all our civilizations. We have passed this stage started the inner life. It's hard for you to understand, because all of you, and we have always led a life connected with the space around us. But now times have changed, and we have begun to explore new spaces inside the Earth, but already more distant from the physical plane.

Can you enter the physical plane?

We will become stronger and will be able to move within the astral plane, as it was before. We will also be able to go to the surface, but it will become more difficult for us.

What did you want to know?

In connection with the change in the hierarchy of the planet and Ss, what do you think about this? And is it true?

Change of hierarchy is a common thing in such a period.

Are we moving to another region of the galaxy under the jurisdiction of another star?

This is due to the fact that Sirius set conditions - not to slow down their passage of time and successfully overcome all difficulties on Earth by 2020 year. But, as you can see, we are still fighting and it is not known when we will finish fighting. We would all like to stay in the old traditions, because it is known, predictable and safe for everyone. Those deterrence forces provided by the region of the galaxy have so far successfully coped with their task.

But as we all began to protest against the escalation of weapons on the planet, Sirius refused to give further guarantees of a peace settlement in view of the fact that many forces began to claim their piece of bread on Earth. You know how many forces are present around and inside the Earth, and what is happening now on the inner plane. Therefore, strong police precautions are needed to prevent the nuclear button from working.

How are we related to the star Jenah? I know that earthly myths are filled with swans in all forms. Hyperborea is associated with the constellation Cygnus, and my beloved Apollo flew on a swan. And Lohengrin sailed on a swan… Venus has swan energies… Is there a connection here?

What a pity that my time is running out, and I will tell you all the interesting things some other time. Yes, the Cygnus constellation is associated with Hyperborea, and the symbol of the Hyperborean energies, their talisman, totem or sign is the swan.

I was glad to contact you. See you!

I thank you for talking! Best wishes to you!
